* (2016/09/14) The film S STORM (S FUNG BO) will open tomorrow.  Vic Chou 
Yu Man's motorcycle ride with DaDa Chan Jing was a hot topic online.  
DaDa admitted that during the shoot Jai Jai felt pressure due to the 
safety question, as he kept telling her to hold on tight.  He was very 
attentive.  Chan Jing with VULGARIA (DAI JOOK HEI KET) won the Hong Kong 
Film Award for Best Supporting Actress.  From suddenly retiring to 
returning to the screen, she had a clear goal.  She wanted to be an actor 
with soul.
	Reducing production in recent years, Chan Jing tomorrow will have 
2 film releases at once.  In the film S STORM (FUNG BO), DaDa worked with 
3 hunks Julian Cheung Chi Lam, Vic Chou and Louis Koo Tin Lok.  Playing a 
beer girl, DaDa said that she had a love hate relationship with "brother" 
Cheung Chi Lam and performed A MOMENT OF ROMANCE style motorcycle scene 
with the lone killer Jai Jai.  Chan Jing said, "At first when the company 
told me that I would work with Cheung Chi Lam and Chou Yu Man I was very 
excited, but people around me were more excited than me.  For example my 
sister volunteered to bring tongshui, and I was able to reap some of the 
benefits.  The most memorable was in one scene Jai Jai crisscrossed the 
busy city streets on a motorcycle.  Jai Jai was very attentive as he kept 
telling me to hold on tight to him.  Jai Jai really knew how to take care 
of people and provided me with quite a sense of security."
	In the film DaDa played sister and brother with Cheung Chi Lam.  
With her first on screen family relationship, she was full of emotions 
and was able to cry on cue.  She was able to easily move the audience.  
"In the film I already was born to a small family and really admired my 
top student brother.  Yet after becoming a cop he became a gambling 
addict and ruined the family.  I hated him to the core, at age 15 I 
dropped out of school and became a beer girl.  Later I ran into him at a 
bar, had to grab, scream at and hit Cheung Chi Lam like crazy.  The 
emotions were very complex.  The scene to me was really memorable.  At 
the time I really couldn't get into the character.  All thanks to Chi 
Lam's patience and helping hand I was able to finish the scene."
	In the film DaDa and Chou Yu Man had a mirage of romance.  In 
real life as a sex goddess of the generation she should have a lot of 
suitors.  Actually DaDa had a significant other who broke her heart, so 
for now she had no intention to date.  She used to wish that she would 
be able to get married at age 26 and have a child a year later, now she 
prefers to play with her sister's baby as that would be more fun.
	"I am very weak in relationships, I don't really know what I 
want so I would try first.  When my friends say this guy is good, I would 
give him a try.  I ran into a more chauvinist guy, I would suffering a 
lot because I was more stubborn.  I have also been dated a guy who did 
everything I said and put me first with everything, but I didn't like it.  
I didn't want to be a HK woman and had to be in charge of everything.  
Now I am single, I have no intention to date for now.  I would rather 
spend time on work.  This year I communicated with the company, I might 
not take any sexy scene since I don't want to repeat similar characters.  
I know if I keep playing more daring characters, next time when everyone 
thinks of those sexy characters they would ask you.  I may be able to 
make money but I would lose a lot of other opportunities.  So I would 
rather spend more time resting and waiting for a good character because 
my future goal is clear.  I want to be an actor with soul." 

* (2016/09/14) MCDULL THE RISE OF THE RICE COOKER will open tomorrow on 
Mid Autumn Festival.  This time the film continued to feature Sandra Ng 
Kwan Yu as the voice of Mrs. Mak.  Not only many Hong Kong people grew up 
with McDull, but Kwan Yu also had a major life event with him -- the 
birth of her daughter.  Providing her voice to Mrs. Mak since the first 
McDull film, Kwan Yu was asked her impression of Mrs. Mak until now.  She 
said, "Mrs. Mak was well educated, neither came from a rich family nor 
had a lot of money.  However she was a great role model, showing the 
audience how she loved her son."
	In the film a monster suddenly attacked Earth, the superhero who 
came to the rescue was defeated.  Earth was in a panic and could only 
call for an emergency robot design to create the strongest robot for the 
battle!  McDull lacked resources, only had the cheap homehold electronics 
around him; however he was full of passion and enthusiasm.  In order to 
raise the funding, Mrs. Mak worked like crazy.  With the support of the 
principal and everyone, McDull finally was able to bring his rice cooker 
to the competition.  Rice cooker looked dumb and was short of features, 
but its endurance was curiously long.  In the fierce competitions with 
cheap shots galore, it even stumbled its way to victory.  The hope of 
the entire earth rested on McDull and the rice cooker. 

* (2016/09/13) Yesterday would have been "Gor Gor" Leslie Cheung Kwok 
Wing's 60th birthday.  "Gor Gor's" former managr Chan Suk Fun and her 
son Chan Ka Ho, "Gor Gor's" friends Mrs. Chang Cheh, Lin Yim Fai and 
"Gor Gor's" former assistant Kenneth along with over a thousand "Gor" fans 
from around the world went to Po Fook Hill with birthday cake, fruits, 
origami cranes, flowers, desserts, cards, papier mache mansions, watches, 
skin care products and offerings to celebrate "Gor Gor's" birthday.
	The LesFanmily club song DEAR LESLIE yesterday premiered at 
midnight.  Mrs. Chan brought this song to Po Fook Hill to share with "Gor" 
fans and to present to "Gor Gor" as a birthday gift.  "Gor" fans listened 
to the song that spoke from their hearts while lining up to present 
flowers to "Gor Gor".  Everyone sincerely celebrated with "Gor Gor".
	The Japanese "Gor" fans as usual folded origami cranes as gifts 
to "Gor Gor" and personally brought them to Po Fook Hill.  912 red and 
gold origami cranes represented good luck.  Red was not only "Gor Gor's" 
favorite color but also a representation of "Gor" fans' burning and 
unchanging hearts for "Gor Gor".  Last night Chan Suk Fun also led "Gor" 
fans to a "Gor Gor" memorial event at the Central Harbor Front Event 
Space.

* (2016/09/13) The film S STORM (S FUNG BO) yesterday held a Beijing 
premiere.  Producer Raymond Wong Pak Ming, director David Lam Tak Lun led 
actors Louis Koo Tin Lok, Julian Cheung Chi Lam, Ada Choi Siu Fun and 
Bowie Lam Bo Yi at the appearance.
	Everyone shared their personal production experience on the 
stage.  Playing the top Independent Commission Against Corruption 
investigation supervisor, Goo Jai felt that this film had particularly 
many emotional scenes that could challenge his acting.  As for the 
gambling addict cop Cheung Chi Lam, he in the film went against his usual 
Greek God image and had a lot of acting fun.  In the film they have a lot 
of scenes against each other, which were one of the film's selling point.
	Although the film was "strong on the masculine side", Ada in the 
film stole the spotlight.  However the known to be mischievous Goo Jai 
revealed that she and Lam Bo Yi had a scene, in which she kept having 
bad takes.  Ada explained that because she had two daughters her memory 
was worse than before.
	The event arranged for actors to pick up prop guns and shoot 
targets with the words like "gluttonous", "fun loving", "sleepy", 
"excessive drinking", "excessive shopping", "greedy", "lusty".  Chi Lam 
chose "fun loving", Ada chose "gluttonous". Which one did Goo Jai choose?  
He said, "I like anti greed, today I am here to promote that."
	As for "Jai Jai "Vic Chou Yu Man who had "good news" and was 
unable to take time to fly to Beijing to promote the film, he shot a 
video for the film not only to introduce his character in the film but 
also apologized for unable to promote the film in person.  He hoped the 
film would be able to have good box office.  After watching the several 
minute long video, Chilam suddenly said, "I feel very touched.  During 
the shoot he didn't say much.  Yet he recorded a video with so much to say 
to everyone."

* (2016/09/12) TVB this year crowned both Miss Hong Kong and Mr. Hong Kong 
on the same night for the first time ever.  Ten Miss Hong Kong candidates 
and four Mr. Hong Kong finalists after last night's series of competition 
were chosen from a general vote.  This year's Miss Hong Kong is the 22 
year old favorite, contestant 6 Crystal Fung Ying Ying, first and second 
runner up are the 19 year old contestant 2 Tiffany Lau Wing Shuen and the 
26 year old contestant 7 Bonnie Chan Nga Sze.  Lau Wing Suen also won Miss 
Photogenic.  Earlier contestants chose Miss Congeniality Bowie Cheung Bo 
Yi.  The fresh out of the oven Mr. Hong Kong is the 30 year old contestant 
4 Jackson Lai Chun Wa, the first and second runner are the 19 year old 
contestant 9 Karl Ting Chi Long and the 27 year old contestant 1 Freeyon 
Chung Kwan Cheung.
	This year's Miss Hong Kong hosts were Carol Cheng Yui Ling, Nat 
Chan Pak Cheung, Bob Lam Sing Bun and Fama.  The absence of veteran Miss 
Hong Kong host Eric Tsang Chi Wai might have left some viewers a little 
lost.  This year the event used an all new contest standard as viewers 
vote through the TVBfun app along with a group of celebrity judges and 
event jury to select the final four Miss Hong Kong contestants and the 
final four Mr. Hong Kong contestants from two nights ago.  Then the 100% 
general vote selected the winners.
	Last year's Miss Hong Kong Louisa Mak Ming Sze opened the show with 
a ballet troupe as she danced in mid air on wires.  Then the ten 
contestants appeared in evening gown and opened the show with ten Mr. 
Hong Kong contestants.
	The most special part was th contestants competing for eight on 
screen contracts.  The contestants had 15 seconds to campaign for votes.  
Contestant 3 Cheung Bo Yi received a contract to host a travel program 
with Benjamin Yuen Wai Ho and a "reality hellish travel program" with 
Tony Hung Wing Sing.  Also receiving two contracts was contestant 6 Fung 
Ying Ying.  Maria Cordero chose her to be the "heavyweight food program 
host" and the "50th TVB anniversary show host".  Nancy Wu Ting Yan and 
Ruco Chan Chin Pang chose contestants 4 Daisy Dai for "television 
series character", Fred Cheng Chun Won chose contestant 5 Andrea So Wen 
Chi to be "music video star" and contestant 7 Chan Nga Sze became a 
"skin care product commercial" spokesmodel.
	The final vote count reached 233,394 votes.  Contestant 6 Fung 
Ying Ying with 36,679 viewer votes won the Miss Hong Kong crown; contestant 
4 Lai Chun Wa with 44,420 took the Mr. Hong Kong throne.  

* (2016/09/12) Leo Ku Kui Kei and Louis Koo Tin Lok in honor of "Gor Gor" 
Leslie Cheung Kwok Wing's 60th birthday performed together for the first 
time Gor Gor's classic hit PAST LOVE.  They only found a valuable photo 
from their past and bought the film right to A BETTER TOMORROW (YING HUNG 
BOON SIK) for the music video, which will be released online at midnight 
on the 12th.
	Gei Jai said that he was thinner and more handsome than before, 
while Goo Jai was more tan and cooler.  Goo Jai said that returning to 
the recording studio after over a decade felt toughing than acting.  Gor 
Gor back then praised them by name, which enabled them to work together 
this time.  

* (2016/09/12) Danny Chan Fans Club two nights ago held a ceremony.  Danny 
Chan Pak Keung's father Chan Pang Fei, sister Chan Siu Yi, brother Chan 
Pak Ling and god father attended.  Fennie Yuen Kit Ying, Connie Chan Bo 
Chu and Mary Jean Reimer (Yung Jing Jing) also showed their support.  The 
fan club has officially been registered as a non profit organization and 
will organize different events to spread Danny's music and story.
	Yuen Kit Ying said that Chan Pak Keung was her idol, she was the 
happiest about him being a friend at the same time.  "The most memorable 
was when he was a surprise guest at my birthday party.  He not only 
presented himself as the gift but also brought a present, a scarf.  I was 
lucky to get into the business and had a chance to come in contact with 
him.  I also became a friend and went to his home, as a fan I was already 
very rich.  (Which song was your favorite?)  Too many, I prefer his non 
plug songs.  I remember the most when he just released STARE, I listened 
to it from the beginning to the end right away.  That night I ran into 
him, I praised his NO WAY TO CONTINUE FATE, he was very suspicious of 
whether I really listened to it and asked me on which side of the record 
and which number was the song on.  I answered Side A fifth song.  He was 
very happy and I proved that I wasn't just talk!"  Was it very hard to 
find another male singer of this class?  Yuen Kit Ying said, "I am very 
faithful, for years he has been my only singer idol.  Of course, I 
listened to other singers but he was only one I fantasized about dating.  
(Did you ever tell him that?)  I didn't dare.  After we got to know each 
other I only dared to observe from afar.  When we sat at the same table 
my heart would pound; if I told him, he wouldn't be my friend anymore.  
When he knew that I was a fan he would mess with me too and deliberately 
made me feel jealous, but I also turned very cool."  

* (2016/09/11) Artists Pakho Chau, Andrew Lam Man Chung, Eva Chan Sze 
Wai, Babyjohn Choi Hong Yik and Bob Lam Sing Bun two nights ago worked 
on their new film THE SINKING CITY (SAI FONG GIK LOK ji TAI BAU TAI JI 
TAI HUNG CHONG) in Journey to the West character costumes.  Pakho was 
dressed as the "dragon horse", Chan Sze Wai as the "goddess of mercy", 
Choi Hong Yik as "Sun Wukong", Lam Man Chung as "the Venerable Tang 
Monk" and Lam Sing Bun as "the Sand Monk".
	Pakho's hair looked just the Pokemon Pidgeotto.  In white fur he 
even said he was "itchy all over".  "In the story we went to Sukhavati, 
but the furry costume gave both my nose and mouth quite a reaction."  
Did his character need to carry "the venerable Tang Monk" Lam Man Chung?  
He admitted that he did not but said the Ah Chung has played pranks on 
the entire team.  "He doesn't just play pranks on me, but the entire 
team.  For example he would improvise his lines and sing dirty songs."  
Speaking of not playing handsome this time, Pakho said that did not 
matter because he would play any character.
	In her first film Chan Sze Wai said that the "goddess of mercy" 
make up took 5 hours.  Her wig hurt her neck.  This time she even became 
gentler for her character.  "I am more active.  After the team asked me 
to change into costume I had to become more reserved.  As an deity I 
can't be so foul mouthed."  Choi Hong Yik said that in order to 
transform into Wukong, the crew "hog tied" him.  "Thy said that Wukong 
had a lot of chains, the costume made me immobile.  (Would you move 
around like Wukong?)  I am even on the wires, but this costume also 
feels like being on the wires!"

* (2016/09/11) The director Clifton Ko Chi Sum produced musical TERESA 
THE MUSICAL two nights ago held a charity night.  He also revealed that 
he had a pleasant experience with his film MISS SUNSHINE (SING NUI KEI 
YUEN)'s actors Louis Cheung Kai Chung, Alex Fong Lik Sun, Annie Liu (Lau 
Sum Yau) and Maggie Cheung Ho Yi.  Did he see either Cheung Kai Chung or 
Fong Lik Sun becoming Stephen Chow Sing Chi's successor?  He said, "I 
like Cheung Kai Chung.  Fong Lik Sun has made quite a breakthrough as 
well, very Hugh Grant!"

* (2016/09/11) Fiona Sit Hoi Kei yesterday was the opening ceremony 
guest for the late superstar Leslie Cheung Kwok Wing's large scale 
exhibit LESLIE CHEUNG 60TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION: LESLIE CHEUNG MUSIC ART 
EXHIBITION.  "Gor Gor" Cheung Kwok Wing's past record releases, his 
contract with Capital Artist records and the never before seen PILOT'S 
WIND BREAKER music video were on display.
	Star "Gor Gor fan" Fiona not only had all of Cheung Kwok Wing's 
record but also attended all the concerts she could.  The most 
regrettable was when she started in the business it was the year of Gor 
Gor's passing, and she never had a chance to work with her idol.  Fiona 
said to the media as soon as she arrived yesterday, "Welcome to my 
husband's home.  In my lifetime I only have one idol -- Gor Gor.  I 
watched his concerts ten times without getting tired.  I have all of his 
records.  The most memorable was RED, which both my parents and I liked 
to listen to.  In order not to fight over it, we bought three copies."
	Because Fiona started in the business the year Gor Gor passed 
away, she fantasized about singing with him on the stage.  "So no 
matter how small the concert was I would sing one of Gor Gor's song.  Each 
time I sang his songs I would feel very happy, but also a little 
heartache."  Fiona even said that two nights ago she played Gor Gor's new 
record at home and sang along with a bluetooth wireless microphone.  She 
said that she grew up with Gor Gor's record.  As for how she would 
remember Gor Gor on his birthday, Fiona said that every year she would 
post something on social media.  She said, "I remember Gor Gor said that 
he did not dare to wish for everyone would remember her, but if one day 
he no longer sing and he aged, as long as everyone would still mention 
his name he would already be very pleased."

* (2016/09/11) The Venice Film Festival two nights ago announced that THE 
ROAD TO MANDALAY won the FEDEORA Award for Best Film.  Director Midi Z 
personally accepted this honor.  Already returned to Taiwan, Kai Ko 
Chen-Tung and Wu Ke-Xi were also rather happy when they got the news.
	Midi Z two nights ago personally accepted the award and thanked 
the Venice Film Festival for the recognition.  He gave special thanks to 
leads Ko Chen-Tung and Wu Ke-Xi, as he described them as "very 
professional, hard working and risk taking actors".  He was very happy to 
see their performance being seen and hoped to share this award with them.  
Midi Z repeatedly thanked Taiwan for cultivating him and revealing that 
"'Being able to come to Taiwan' is an arrangement of fate like winning 
the lotto, I am a very lucky person."  Finally he said in Chinese, "Thank 
you Taiwan."
	Already returned to Taiwan, Ko Chen-Tung and Wu Ke-Xi were rather 
happy to learn the news.  Ko Chen-Tung was so excited that he kept on 
saying he wanted to fly back to Venice to receive the award.  He happily 
said, "I am very happy that the film that everyone worked hard on for a 
year was able to receive the liking of European film critics!  Go Chinese 
films!"  Wu Ke-Xi shared the honored with the entire team, and gave 
special thanks to the Thai factory boss from Taiwan for permitting her 
and Ko Chen-Tung to sneak into the factory to work and greatly assisted 
with the production.  Finally she sentimentally said, "As a part of the 
film, as a Taiwan actor, I feel very honored.  I am especially happy for 
director Midi Z and congratulate him."
	THE ROAD TO MADALAY won the Venice Film Festival FEDEORA Award for 
Best Film because director Midi Z used precise film language and art to 
display the actors' natural performance in a realistic way without 
dragging his feet.  The film depicted the cruel story of the real world 
with elegance and precision.  In addition, the jury also made special 
mention to Ko Chen-Tung and Wu Ke-Xi's excellent performance.

* (2016/09/11) Michael Miu Kiu Wai, Kent Cheng Juk Si, Cally Kwong Mei 
Wan, Edmond So Chi Wai, Real Ting Chi Ko and others yesterday attended a 
charity bowling event to raise fund for Tung Wah hospital student all 
purpose development fund.  Sam Gor said that he has not bowled for years.  
He recalled that he and Andy Lau Tak Wa used to bowl all the time, but 
due to traffic jam he was often late and bowled without any practice.  In 
addition his bowling gear has already vanished without a trace.  He said 
that when he bowled he would embarrassed himself in front of others with 
"gutter balls".  
	His wife Sam Soh Jaime Chik Mei Chun's film FOOLING AROUND JIANG 
HU (GONG WU BEI KET) has already been released.  Sam Gor said, "The 
visuals were shot decently.  She played a happy character and worked with 
Principal (Alan Tam Wing Lun).  Whether it was entertaining or not it 
would depend on the viewers."  When working as a couple was suggested, 
he said, "The story would have to be very difficult, the plot would be 
pretty hard to deal with."
	Later Cheng Juk Si will work on the Wong Jing produced JUI 
(CHASE) with Andy Lau Tak Wa and Donnie Yen Chi Tan.  He would play Wa 
Jai's subordinate.  Has he seen Wa Jai's daughter?  He said, "I was lucky 
enough.  Wa Jai is very happy, being able to handle both career and 
family."

* (2016/09/10) THE STORM SHOW 5D actor Patrick Tam Yiu Man, producer 
Chan Suk Fun yesterday attended comic book creator Ma Wing Shing and 
local designer Alan Chan Yau Kin's STORM series tourbillon watch event.  
Tam Yiu Man said, "In THE STORM SHOW I play 'No Name', an authentic 
grandmaster.  When I got the script I was very excited and honored.  I 
also knew the production cost would be very high.  The Hong Kong run 
wouldn't be enough to break even and the show would have to be performed 
overseas."  The show will begin its run in April next year.  He was very 
happy that Hong Kong would be able to have an outstanding musical that 
would be able to represent Hong Kong people.
	Chan Suk Fun also said that she has always supported this watch 
brand.  The limited edition watch would have Ma Wing Shing's autograph.  
Ma Wing Shing gave suggestions about the watch design.  He considered 
using the blade and the sword as the limited edition second hand, but 
actually the blade and the sword designs would be difficult.

* (2016/09/10) Singer Juno Mak Chun Lung last night with Aaron Kwok Fu 
Sing and Janet Ma Sze Wai attended an event.  He revealed that he was 
working on the pre production work for his second film as a director, 
SONS OF THE NEON NIGHT (FUNG LUM FOR SAN).  The production has been 
planned to start next year.  He also said that he has been planning for a 
Hong Kong Coliseum concert since last year, but he had to finish his 
film first.  "HK Coliseum required an application a year in advance, and 
my movie would take quite awhile to make.  (If you don't finish it you 
won't perform?)  You can say that, but I am looking forward to making 
the movie.  The script took 2 years to write.  The pre production work 
has to be done before the production can start.  I don't want to delay it 
for too long either."  

* (2016/09/10) Artist Cherry Ngan Cheuk Ling two nights ago attended a 
film appreciation event.  When asked about her boyfriend Michael Ning (Bak 
Ji)'s review on her new film, she said, "He would encourage me and talk 
about it together, with some very academic discussions.  (Would you get 
mad if you don't agree?)  No!  I like people giving me opinions, he is 
an elder too!"  In the film she had ambiguous relationships with two 
people.  Has she had any experience in real life?  She said that she only 
had a misunderstanding.  "In my teens a guy kept asking people on the 
streets to wish me happy birthday on a video.  At the time I was a 
teenager, but I had no idea that he had feelings for me.  I only thought 
of him as a good brother.  I still have the video."

* (2016/09/10) The Herman Yau Lai To directed film NESSUN DORMA (HUNG SAU 
WAN MEI SHUI) earlier was invited to the Dallas Asian Film Festival for 
its North American premiere.  The film has already scheduled for an 
October 27th Hong Kong release.  With a nude scene in the film, Janice Man 
Wing Shan admitted that she still had hesitation during the shoot.  "I 
have never been so daring, but I trust the director so I give my all to 
the performance."  Challenging multiple personality character in the film, 
Gordon Lam Ka Tung had the most scenes with Janice Man and Jacky Cai Jie.  
He hoped that the film would be able to bring Janice Man an award.

* (2016/09/09) Fun Entertainment boss and producer Chan Suk Fun, comic 
book creator Ma Wing Shing, designer Chan Yau Kin and a group of behind 
the scene elite created THE STORM SHOW 5D musical yesterday held a press 
conference to announce eight cast members, Michael Tse Tin Wa (Wind), 
Kevin Cheng Ka Wing (Cloud), Ray Lui Leung Wai (Conquerer), Patrick Tam 
Yiu Man (No Name), Bianca Wu Lam (Muse), Lawrence Cheng Tan Shui 
(Jester), Wayne Lai Yiu Cheung (Mud Buddha) and Janice Yan (Charity).  
Tourbillon watch also presented two watches with the character Wind and 
Cloud to the production.  Everyone celebrated with cake and a toast to 
the show's success.
	According to the musical's producer Chan Suk Fun, the show 
would cost HK$ 100 million.  6 shows will be performed in Hong Kong for 
now before a Southeast Asia tour.  As for the 5D musical, another 
producer Siu Chiu Shun said that aside from lighting, 3D projection, and 
the taste that the audience could sense, touch elements like fire and 
water will be added.  Under the Hong Kong Coliseum regulation he hoped 
to truly achieve the most excitement with real water and fire.
	Did they consider asking the film version's Cloud and Wind, 
Aaron Kwok Fu Sing and Dior Cheng Yi Kin, for the show?  Chan Suk Fun 
said no.  It was not a matter of salary but character and scheduling 
coordination.  The actors had no idea who their co-stars would be as 
everything was tightly kept under wraps.
	Tse Tin Wa said that he truly never thought about playing Wind, 
so at first he was so nervous that he could not sleep.  Was the pressure 
from the success of Sing Sing and Ekin?  Tin Wa said, "I wouldn't think 
about that.  Ultimately a musical's performance method is very 
different from film and television.  This time the show has to coordinate 
dance and fight sequences.  I hope the performance will be more precise." 
	As Cloud Ka Wing had to show off a pair of Kirin arms.  He asked 
art director Yee Chung Man, who told him to be natural and not to train 
excessively.  He said that unlike Tin Wa he had no stage experience, so 
it would be a huge challenge.  In particular this show had a lot of 
fight scenes and no second take.  even with injury and illness he would 
still come to rehearse.
	Since rehearsals would take so much time, were their salaries 
sizable?  Tin Wa said, "On a certain level sacrifice has to be made.  
The stage performance salary has never been proportional, as it is done 
with passion.  Sometimes it's not measured with money."  Ka Wing also 
admitted, "If it's purely for money I might not do it.  Making Mainland 
series takes a short time but makes a little more.  Yet this time has 
potential and huge challenges, it's not a chance that would be around 
often!"
	Lui Leung Wai and Lai Yiu Cheung both said that they did not know 
who would participate until they got there.  Lui said that he has longed 
to play the Conqueror character.  Earlier when the film asked him to 
play Cloud he turned it down.  He felt that the character was even more 
ambitious than "Crippled Ho".  He also said that this would be his first 
play.  Singing and dancing were not his strong suits, but he believed 
that after this time they would be.
	Lai Yiu Cheung after the film version played Mud Buddha again.  
he said that he did not excel in singing and dancing, so he had certain 
pressure.  During the performance his adrenaline would raise but h 
would accept the challenge.  Thus he did not mind making less.  "I won 
the bid for the character!"  Ah Lui smiled and said, "I will bring a lunch 
box, but I really turned down a movie and a series for it."

* (2016/09/09) Cecilia Yip Tung yesterday attended THE WAY WE WERE 
The 60th Anniversary of Leslie Cheung Kwok Wing exhibit as the ribbon 
cutting guest.  Many valuable photos of Cheung Kwok Wing were on display, 
as well as many stars' hand written letters to Gor Gor.  The most special 
was the mahjong trophy that was named after Gor Gor, the Kwok Wing Cup.
	Yesterday would have been Gor Gor's 60th Lunar birthday.  A 
group of volunteer fans organized this exhibit for the occasion.  Yip 
Tung said that although Gor Gor passed away 13 years ago, everyone still 
missed him very much.  She also urged everyone to cherish life and not to 
be under the effects of negative emotions.
	When she went to France with Gor Gor to work on the film LAST 
SONG IN PARIS (AU YIN), Yip Tung remembered Gor Gor taking the team to 
see the famous French exotic dance.  "Actually he didn't have to, but he 
was very caring and very heart warming to everyone."  She also remembered 
that when she first started, Gor Gor praised her by name to the media.  
She could not have appreciated it more.
	Yip Tung said, "We only worked together on two movies, and we 
weren't close personally either.  He saw that I was new and lent me a 
hand."  She praised Gor Gor for being able to sacrifice everything for 
art.  He never considered himself a superstar, whether the character was 
handsome or ugly, male or female he was able to give him all to it.  She 
also saw Gor Gor as her role model, be more demanding to herself and 
understanding to others.

* (2016/09/09) The film S STORM (S FUNG BO) opens next Thursday.  In the 
story ICAC agent Louis Koo Tin Lok raced against major crimes cop Julian 
Cheung Chi Lam in the capture of killer Vic Chou Yu Man.
	Goo Jai as an ICAC agent did not carry a gun.  All the chase and 
gun fight scenes went to Chilam alone.  Chilam said that the shoot was 
not as cool as the audience saw on the screen, because with slightly less 
concentration an accident would happen.  He suffered an injury near his 
eyebrow and needed stitches at the hospital.  He said, "I have never 
thought it was fun.  I had to be more alert.  If I got injured I would 
say I deserved it.  Yet in action scenes injuring others is the most 
regrettable.  Luckily this time no one got hurt."
	Goo Jai constantly made action films and has been injured many 
times.  The most recent time was on the Johnnie To Kei Fung directed 
THREE (SAM YUN HUNG) when broken glass flew into his eye.  He said, 
"Sometimes with gun fight scenes even being more alert is useless.  
Accidents will happen, all you can do is be as careful as you can.  When 
you fire a gun keep it away from the face, otherwise you are done for!"
	Chilam in the film also had a car chase that still left him 
shaken.  He said that the director asked and he did not think much about 
it when he took his mark.  He never expected that during the shoot 
multiple vehicles would head toward him.  After passing each one he had to 
do a "donut".  Although he pulled it off in the end, he was already 
sweating bullets.  Goo Jai asked why he did not use a stunt double?  
Chilam said, "Because you got all the money, it's too expensive.  You are 
worth it though!"
	Chilam worked with Jai Jai for the first time but joked that Jai 
Jai was cooler than Mr. Cool Koo Tin Lok.  Goo Jai and Jai Jai worked 
together on DON'T GO BREAKING MY HEART 2.  He said that after work they 
went to dinner together.  This time they did not have a lot of time, but 
the three of them still had dinner together.  Jai Jai felt more reserved 
but was very polite, thus he was rather suitable to play the cool killer.

* (2016/09/09) OPERATION MEKONG recently held a Beijing press conference.  
Three time collaborators Dante Lam Chiu Yin and Eddie Peng Yu-Yan 
revealed each other's "lack of bottom line".  During the shoot a 6 inch 
long millipede bit director Lam Chiu Yin on the set.  "Actually I took 
this bite for Peng Yu-Yan.  That day I was rehearsing with him.  Other 
workers and actors lay on the ground for a long time without any 
problem.  In my thick socks as soon as I went down I was fortunate enough 
to be bitten!"  Peng Yu-Yan said that the director took a lot of risks.  
"He got a shot at the hospital and came right back to work.  Seeing how 
hard he worked, how could we not!  The director can truly do anything, he 
did everything himself.  During the shoot as soon as he realized that an 
actor was in the mood he would grab a camera and start shooting.  He is 
the only director who is willing to fall into an emotion with actors to 
encourage them among the directors I have seen.  Earlier I realized that 
working with him on a movie was still rather tough.  Now seeing how much 
he did I suddenly realized that I had it easy." 

* (2016/09/08) The Hong Kong film WEEDS ON FIRE (DIM NG BO) mentioned 
that when former chief executive Donald Tsang Yam Kuen was the Sha Tin 
district officer he supported the first all Chinese baseball team 
Martins.  Poon Chan Leung played him.
	Due to length two scenes were removed from WEEDS ON FIRE, in one 
scene Poon Chan Leung before the game sent a box of apples to the team 
to cheer them up, someone joked that the apple was hard.  In another 
scene at the 2007 Chief Executive campaign party, Poon Chan Leung talked 
about 3 memorable events.  "The 1997 financial storm, and 2003 SARS 
battle, both were very memorable but very painful......if it truly had to 
be the most memorable and the happiest it had to 1983, when Principal 
Lu Kwong Fai and I formed the Martin baseball team.  This mishmash of 
bad kids lost 8 games in a row in the first year, but then 10 in a row 
to become the second half champion.  I feel happy not because they won, 
but seeing how their lives changed and how they grew."
	Poon Chan Leung said that Hong Kong had a lot of past glory that 
was built from one trivial event after another.  "If I get to choose, and 
I can go back to the past, I hope to be able to go to that year because 
it was the happiest and the most carefree period of my political career."  
	WEEDS yesterday already reached HK$ 3.11 million at the box 
office.

* (2016/09/08) Hong Kong film YUT YEH JOI SING MING (OVERNIGHT SUCCESS 
AGAIN) starred actors from China, Hong Kong and Japan, including 
Japanese singer Masatoshi Nakamura, Japanese sex goddess Noriko Fujiwara, 
international Best Actor Naoto Takenaka, Mayumi Itsuwa, Yu Hayami, 
Toshihiko Tahara, popular Japanese model Ren Ishikawa, Mainland little 
fresh meat Li Yin and Hong Kong star Rain Li Choi Wa.  Norika participated 
in another Hong Kong film 16 years later.  She was very excited because 
she especially admired Hong KOng team's positive energy.
	The James Leung Wa Sun directed film YUT YEH JOI SING MING started 
production last month.  One of the film's big selling point was the 
Japanese sex goddess Norika Fujiwara's return to Hong Kong film after 
CHINA STRIKE FORCE (LUI TING JIN GAING) in 2000.  In the film Norika 
played an enka "goddess" who retired when her career was at its 
brightest and married rich businessman Naota Takenaka.  Working for the 
first time together on a film, they already had a lot of emotional 
scenes.  Norika admitted that she "looked forward to it and was pleased".  
"Mr. Takenaka is quite a character actor, I look forward to working 
with him very much!"  
	Working on a Hong Kong film again, Norika Fujiwara excitedly 
said, "Exciting!  Being able to work with different countries' teams, I 
can learn even more; especially the Hong Kong team, they have a lot of 
positive energy."  Norika even revealed that the character name changed 
from the original Kayoko Mochizuki to Hanako Yaezakura.  The character 
"Wa" meant "China", "Elegance" and "Chinese".  "Yaezakura"'s "sakura" had 
Japanese initial, the name was a connection between China and Japan.
	To be more convincing, Norika asked her Enka friends for help.  
She said, "Enka can express the emotions of Japan, different from the 
average singing.  My mama likes to listen to enka very much.  When I was 
little I often saw her performing enka while doing chores at the 
kitchen.  I believe I can play this character.  She would definitely be 
very happy and viewers would also have a huge surprise!"

* (2016/09/08) The 20th Huading Award China Film Satisfaction Survey 
release ceremony took place last night at the Kowloon Bay 
International Trade and Exhibition Center.  14 awards were presented.  
Leading with 7 nominations, WOLF WARRIORS won 5 major awards to become 
the big winner; MR. SIX won Best Film and Best Director.  The new Huading 
Best Actor and Best Actress were A FOOL's Chen Jianbin and THE MASTER's 
Song Jia.  Irene Wan Bik Ha presented the lifetime honorary award to her 
late friend Wu Ma.  Wu Ma's widow Ma Yin accepted the award.
	Wu Jing with WOLF WARRIORS won the Best New Director and the 
film won 5 awards.  Wu Jing happily said, "Earlier during the shoot the 
hardship was indescribable to other.  This film took 7 years to plan.  
Currently I am already in the WOLF WARRIORS 2 production and work has 
begun for two months.  I hope to make it even more exciting, more 
explosive and even pleasing to the audience."  In the future Wu Jing 
wanted to work with Jackie Chan and Chow Yun Fat the most.  He also said 
that he was all scarred up from the shoot himself.  He needed to recover 
himself first, but he has never told his wife about his injuries.  As for 
the Best New Artist, Liu Haoran said that the award was the greatest 
recognition and encouragement.  He hoped to be able to play different 
characters from now on, to be able to challenge different things.
	While presenting the Lifetime Honorary award to Wu Ma, Wan Bik 
Ha spoke of her history with Wu Ma in detail.  "At age 21 I worked with 
Wu Ma on THE LAST EUNUCH IN CHINA.  He played an eunuch.  Other actors 
included (Max) Mok Siu Chung and (Andy) Lau Tak Wa.  This film brought 
me a lot of memories, and thus Wu Ma even became my good friend.  We 
often had dinner and drinks to chat.  Later I worked with Wu Ma on his 
directing debut CIRCUS KIDS.  Two years ago when I heard the news of his 
passing it was very sudden, because he passed away in his sleep."  She 
said Wu Ma was kind and like a father.  Wan Bik ha also introduced girls 
to him.  "When we made CIRCUS, I watched him meet the current Mrs. Wu 
Ma.  This was destiny."
	Shirley Yeung Szeki presented the Best Director Award.  Currently 
she is busy with working in the Mainland.  Of course she hoped that 
suitable jobs would find her in Hong Kong as well.  Has she missed her 
daughter while in the Mainland?  "My over 4 year old daughter is already 
in K2 and starts to learn things.  She knows that she has to be good.  
When she goes to school she no longer cries.  Instead she feels a little 
lost during the summer and always says that she wants to go to school.  
Finally Grandpa and Grandma took her on vacation."
	Max Zhang Jin revealed that his wife Ada Choi Siu Fun had to 
stay home to watch their daughters.  "Earlier when my wife was working 
in the Mainland, I took care of the girls.  Now she is back, she is 
taking care of them.  Because school started for them recently, we have 
been busier.  Both girls are attending an international school, now it's 
a good opportunity for me to learn English.  My wife and I have the 
same educational direction, I feel cultivating the children's 
character is more important than knowledge."  As for the award, Zhang Jin 
was both grateful and surprised.  He realized that a character was not 
only about playing a hero or a villain, receiving the audience's 
appreciation was the greatest comfort.

1. TA KUNG PAO, SEPTEMBER 9 2016, ONE WEEK IN FILM AND TELEVISION

	At the Mainland box office, Hollywood hit STAR TREK BEYOND 
opened in first place with 207 million RMB.  This film was released in 
the U.S. in July and made US$ 154.3 million.  In Hong KOng it made HK$ 
9.9 million.  In second place was the previous week release ICE AGE: 
COLLISION COURSE with 112.7 million RMB.  Over two weeks it made 399.7 
million RMB; also released the previous week, JASON BOURNE made 96 million 
RMB in third place.  Over two weeks it made 425 million RMB; LINE WALKER 
THE MOVIE made 33.3 million RMB in fourth place, over four weeks it made 
594.68 million RMB; the Japanese film new release PARASYTE made 25.2 
million RMB In fifth place.  This film made HK$ 6.61 million in Hong Kong 
last year; the Hong Kong director Joe Ma Wai Ho and Liu Hai directed 
new release DAYS OF OUR OWN made 24.8 million RMB in sixth place.

2. TA KUNG PAO, SEPTEMBER 8 2016, ASIAN FILMS
TRAIN TO BUSAN RISKS DEATH TO PROTECT LOVED ONES

	"Zombies" has swept across the silver screens globally.  Other 
than Hollywood films, from Hong Kong to Japan filmmakers do not lack 
this biological monster silver screen adaptation experience.  Now even 
Korean filmmakers have joined in and made TRAIN TO BUSAN.  In general, 
few zombie films on the big screen, especially Asian released zombie 
films, are big box office hits.  They are closer to cult films for the 
minority.  TRAIN TO BUSAN is different.  So far it not only is the Korean 
box office champion this year but also set Hong Kong and Taiwan Korean 
film box office records.  It is a rather interesting film phenomenon.
- HUNG KWONG
	TRAIN TO BUSAN's protagonists are a father and a daughter.  A 
financial manager in order to fulfill his daughter's birthday wish takes 
time to take the train with her to Busan to celebrate her birthday with 
his former wife.  Only when the train starts to move, the zombie virus 
that has spread to the entire nation rapidly spread inside the train.  
passengers trapped inside the trap run in panic and begin a life and 
death struggle against zombies.  Awaiting them at each station on the way 
are still zombies.  The only chance to survive is the final destination 
of the railroad -- Busan.  Aside from this pair of father and daughter, 
the story also has a couple, the wife of which is already pregnant.  
There is also a young student couple and a pair of senior sisters.  The 
relationships of the four groups form the driving force of the entire 
film, the focus is how everyone makes sacrifices for the loved ones.  
While running for their lives they also have to charge at the zombies 
to save those they love.
	The story in the film (like the use of the darkness of the tunnel 
to create tension) reminds people of another Korean director's work -- 
SNOW PIERCER.

Exposing Humanity
	Like most zombie films, this film is not actually about zombies 
but is a big expose on human nature under extreme environment.  Yet in 
comparison, this film has pitifully few details about the zombies 
themselves.  For example the mysterious virus that can turn humans into 
zombies in less than a minute after infection actually is only told with 
one line.  Those zombies that sweep across Korea move rapidly, closer to 
the WORLD WAR Z type.  Interesting, the source of the zombies in WORLD 
WAR Z just happens to be Korea......
	As for the characters, the father and daughter protagonists in 
the film have an estranged relationship.  When others see the financial 
manager father as a vampire, his daughter is already used to it.  The 
daughter, perhaps was raised by her mother as a girl who would be 
extremely glad to help others, during the escape still remembers to offer 
her seat to others and unwilling to escape alone with her father......they 
have the most interaction with the couple they are escaping with.  The 
two male and the two female are paired together.  The males risk 
everything to protect their families, the females help each other during 
the escape.  The remaining two pairs are mainly supporting characters.  
The greatest conflict comes from the other passengers on the train.  Those 
people are afraid that the protagonists after struggling with zombies are 
infected, in the end they lead to the eradication of everyone on the 
train.  The company supervisor who in order to escape ignore all others 
is a contrast to the selfless little girl.

Why Fear Destiny
	If you ask why this film is so popular, perhaps it is due to its 
positive value display.  The main characters are battling to protect 
their families (which can be said as very patriarchic, as the female 
characters all keep running/are protected).  In the end bad guys get 
that they deserve, and the good guys' sacrifices are rewarded.  The film 
does not have the dark pessimism and everyone dies negative emotions 
(like Wilson Yip Wai Shun's BIO-ZOMBIE) in most zombie genre films.  Even 
if the audience does not like this type of genre cult films can watch it 
in peace.....some also point out that the writer and the director often 
hints at the Korean government's hiding the truth, which is similar to 
the real world situation that the audience can relate to.  As the writer 
feels, in similar disaster films the government agencies' hiding the 
truth seem to be standard procedure.  This can only be said to locals 
being especially sensitive to this type of story.
	Even more curious to the writer is the final destination of the 
escape, the human castle that has not fallen, is in Busan.  From Seoul to 
Daegu, swarms of zombies suddenly attack and no place is safe.  This 
route remains people of the Korean war 65 years ago.  The North Korean 
People's Army also marched from north to south until the Busan defensive 
ring.  Is this route's design deliberate or because the trapped on the 
train design?  No one would know, but ultimately it reminds people of 
the various monster disaster films that developed from fears of the 
nuclear war during the Cold War era.  Only to Koreans, the source of the 
fear is a war that actually happened. 

3. TA KUNG PAO, SEPTEMBER 8 2016, LIGHT SHADOW PATH
REAL AND FAKE PRODUCERS

	Articles often pointed out that the Chinese film market lacked 
producers and thus had difficulty in competition with Hollywood.  Each 
film has a producer, why would they say it does not?  The reason is these 
producers are not necessarily truly execute the duties of producing.
	We have several types of producers, one is the company boss.  He 
has the title of producer but lets the director (especially famous ones) 
have free rein.  The second type is the one who the company hires to 
work for the director.  This type of producing is "effective" in Hong 
Kong.  This type of producers manages production budgets and daily 
operation, missing the necessary contribution to creative direction.  
Also, another type of producers help with distribution or participate in 
investment.  After several films they boast to be famous producers.  Of 
course some are real producers.  These people not only have to manage 
financial budgets but also production.  They are responsible to the 
bosses.  Thus, most producers who are bosses are not real producers 
because most of them do not have creative management knowledge and 
creative ability.
	Film and television industries are the same, the most important 
is the producer and not the director.  Chinese television production 
companies know this very well and would work with many famous producers 
and not with directors (some producers who are also directors are 
exceptions).  Yet in film directors are mostly the units.  Actually 
companies often do not have producers (in name only they do), directors 
also serve as real producers.  Now many film directors are also 
producers.  This type of self management method is extremely unideal.
	The ideal film producer must know how to create and produce, 
even more important is the market.  In the past the Hong Kong film 
industry has the so-called "production start advisor", in other words 
people who know the market.  Yet they only know about market demands but 
not creating or producing.  Hollywood also has a type who only knows 
about creating, creative producer, another producer execute the production 
management.  No matter what, suitable producers can give a film and its 
company a much easy time to succeed.
	How can you tell who is a real producer?  In American film, any 
producer with PGA (Producers Guild of America) is.  Chinese film does not 
have this type of prestigious producer organization, but there is a way 
to tell.  This way is when those in charge of a film company want to find 
new directors and not too famous yet directors to make movies, or do not 
know what type of movies to make yet, the names that pop up in their 
minds probably are real producers.  Thus, companies that specialize in 
making big movies instead have fewer real producers.  This is a rather 
ironic phenomenon. - TIN LIK

  Police Inspector Tung tracks criminal Shing to a deserted fisherfolk
  village and catches Shing and his thugs in the act of smuggling gold

  Shing makes a narrow escape and vows to catch the mastermind behind this

  Jack, a renowned professor of archeology at the Terracotta Warriors
  Museum in Xi'an, teams up with beautiful Indian professor Ashmita and

  excites the whole village. Not only Mrs. Mak’s works day and night to
  meet the expense, but Principal and many others offer McDull with
  abundant support. Finally, McDull and Rizo set off for final contest.
  Rizo looks clumsy and its functions seem so ordinary. Nevertheless, as
  the competition turns fierce and ugly, Rizo’s unbelievable endurance
  makes it the final champion.

  Like this, McDull and Rizo suddenly become the hope of Earth. Whereas
  the monster could come again anytime, some scheme is going on among the
  heads of states...Will McDull and Rizo, the partners that are once
  ridiculed, be the world savior? Why does the monster attack Earth over
  and over again?

  When one can’t count on superheroes to save our planet from outerspace
  monsters, who do we turn to? That’s right! A pig head and a rice pot!

  Mcdull has no black masks or red underwear, and certainly not
  supernatural powers. He is just an ordinary boy growing up in a fishing
  village and dreaming of growing up to become an inventor.

  One day, an outerspace monster invades the Earth and makes mincemeat of
  the superhero sent to meet him. So world leaders call on all citizens
  to design a super robot, to defeat the outerspace monster and save the
  Earth.

  Mcdull, who is scant of resources but plenty resourceful, starts
  fiddling with his mom’s household appliances. From a humble rice cooker,
  he designs a low-tech high-power robot: Risopot, and makes it to the
  final of the World Robot Design Competition. The whole fishing village
  is jubilant. To produce Risopot, everybody chips in, including the
  principal of the village school. And Mrs. Mak, Mcdull’s mom and the
  village fishball maker, works triple hard to meet the expenses.
  Risopot looks dumb and his functions are a joke. But with extraordinary
  tenacity and lots of dumb luck, he emerges the winner.

  Now the responsibility of saving the Earth falls squarely on the
  shoulders of Mcdull and Risopot. The outerspace monster will be upon
  the Earth again any time soon. The world leaders are having summit
  meetings and seem to be up to something. The pig head and rice pot
  combo, still a laughing stock, can they really save our planet? And
  the outerspace monster, why does he time and again invade the Earth?

  Principal Investigator William Luk of the ICAC witnessed the murder of

  Tung has just been dismissed from the mental hospital where he's spent
  the last few years suffering from a severe form of bipolar disorder. He
  is not cured; his illness is one that can at best be managed. Once a
  successful financial analyst, Tung lost his job due to a nervous
  breakdown, and no one is willing to hire him back.

  Tung's father is less than happy to have him back home in his tiny
  single-room apartment. A truck driver who must often travel to China,
  he's overcome with worry whenever he has to go away, leaving Tung and
  his medication regime unsupervised. During these periods of solitude,
  Tung is either at the mercy of nosy, narrow-minded neighbours or,

  The term “Golden Triangle” has become a synonymous for drugs. Golden
  Triangle is one of the three main opium supplies in the world - located
  where the unrestricted border regions between Burma, Laos and Thailand
  converge along the Mekong River. Under the Chinese government’s
  suppression, Golden Triangle’s heroin supply has greatly declined. The
  uprise of ‘ice’ however brings back the ascendancy of Golden Triangle

  In December 1941, Japan expands the occupation of its neighbouring

  knowledge of the train network, he and his men sabotage it, ambushing

  Former math prodigy Brian Fong is now a math teacher in a primary
  school, living the life of an ordinary man until his wife’s suicide
  plunges him into depression. Unable to take care of his dog, Brian
  decides to leave it with Beloved Pets, where he befriends the founder
  Jasmine Tsang during his visits.

  Jasmine comes from a rich family and though she lives a worry-free life,
  she has yet to find its meaning. Under pressure from her family, she
  agrees to a marriage of convenience. A week before she’s to marry
  Vincent Lee, who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, she gets
  cold feet, partly due to Vincent’s history of womanizing and partly
  because she can’t get her mind off Brian. On a rainy night, she decides
  to leave the city and look for Brian in the countryside to find out if
  he shares her feelings. Only then will she have a reason to try to live

[ BROADWAY CIRCUIT ]
  When undercover agent Ding receives an encrypted message from
  Blackjack, who claims to be an undercover agent that has lost
  contact with the police, she reports it to her superior officer
  Inspector Q, who immediately launches a mission to search for
  Blackjack. During the mission, Ding visits a casino where she
  discovers that the supposedly dead triad leader Foon-hei is
  surprisingly alive and kicking.

  Meanwhile, Inspector Q narrows down Blackjack’s whereabouts when
  he learns of a finance group’s involvement in a drug deal in
  Brazil. The deal involves company chairman Kwok Ming, his advisor
  Lam, Lam’s right-hand man Shiu and Foon-hei, who is plotting a
  comeback to the crime world. When the players learn of an
  undercover agent in their midst, paranoia and distrust begin to
  cloud over the deal...

  erased, some of the identities of those agents become lost.  When
  someone codenamed Blackjack contacts the police, asserting that he
  is a lost agent , Inspector Q sends Agent Ting to contact him. Ting

  encounters a series of peculiar events resulting in the death of
  the chairman of a finance group. Finally, Inspector Q manages to
  pin down the whereabouts of Blackjack and uncovers the surreptitious
  involvement of a business company in a huge drug deal in Brazil.
  However, the drug dealers have found out that there is an undercover
  agent among them, and things get trickier as fear and mistrust gain
  the upper hand....

[ HONG KONG MOVIE 6 ]
  At Café 6 was adapted from novelist Fujii Izuki's best-selling novel At
  Café 6 and the film is the author's directing debut, credited with his
  real name Neal WU. The novel has sold nearly 1 million copies in Taiwan
  and its movie adaptation has been highly anticipated since its
  publication. It is a film about youth, love and friendship. Miss Liang's
  car broke down after work in a rainy night. The coffee shop owner helps
  her and invites her to his shop called café 6. When he knows Miss Liang
  has a fight with her long-distance boyfriend, he shares the story that
  happened in the summer of 1996. At that time, Min-lu Guan and his good
  friend Bo-zhi Xiao always hang out together. Lu is secretly in love with
  Xin-rui Li. And Bo-zhi Xiao loves Xin-rui's best friend, Xin-yi Cai.
