* (2013/10/09) Taiwan hunk Eddie Peng Yu-Yen is busy working on his new 
film WONG FEI HUNG ji YING HUNG YAU MUNG in Shanghai.  Earlier he and 
other actors gave a surprise to director Roy Chow Hin Yeung who turns 35 
today.  That night Eddie in the middle of an action scene suddenly 
brought out a five tier cake.  Then Sammo Hung Kam Bo and Max Zhang Jun 
sang the birthday song.  Even Jing Boran and Gao Taiyu who were not 
scheduled to work came.  Screen writer Christine To Chi Long presented 
him with two already completed scripts as birthday gifts.  The director 
was beyond touched.

* (2013/10/09) Diana Pang Tan last night attended an event.  As the 
film ON THE NAN NI WAN FRONTIER executive producer, director, screen 
writer and actress, she admitted that it was tough and stressful.  She 
also revealed that next month she will again director a new film about 
dogs and babies, KUNG FU BABY.  As the Gansu province political 
consultant, she admitted that she did not mind sexy and comedy films.  
She said, "Being sexy doesn't conflict with being patriotic.  Patriotism 
doesn't mean being old fashioned."

* (2013/10/09) Chapman To Man Jat yesterday attended a NAKED AMBITION 2 
(HO CHING 2) costume fitting.  In the film he played an adult video 
actor.  To Man Jat posted the costume photo on facebook and in half a 
day he already had 13,000 likes. 

* (2013/10/09) The Hong Kong Chinese University 50th anniversary Master 
Performance Night two night ago took place in Wanchai.  Connie Chan Bo 
Chu, Miu Suet Si, George Lam Chi Cheung and Paula Tsui Siu Fung were 
among the performers.  Pak Suet Sin, Brigitte Lin (Lam Ching Ha), Dexter 
Yang Tin King and his wife, Cally Kwong Mei Wan and her boyfriend Lam Tat 
Man were in attendance.  Lam Ching Wan darted into the venue without any 
interview, but she kept chatting with Ah Lam.  She even said to Ah Lam, 
"Originally I wasn't going to come, but I found out that you were 
performing and came to support you."
	Ah Lam performed 2 songs, one of which was MEN SHOULD BE SELF 
SUFFICIENT.  How long has it been since he last saw Ching Ha?  He said 
that when Ching Ha's daughter opened a school they saw each other.  Would 
he like to star in a movie with Ching Ha?  He said, "Of course!  But we 
both are early sleepers.  If we make a movie we don't get to sleep."  
Ching Ha said that she made especially to show him, but Ah Lam said that 
Ching Ha supported everyone.

* (2013/10/09) The Sean Lau Ching Wan and Alex Fong Chung Shun starred 
film OVERHEARD 3 (SIT TING FUNG WON 3) released its first Mainland 
poster with "all of Hong Kong's wicked wealthy on display".  Ching Wan 
had a perm, a gray suit and a gold shirt, full of "Wai Tau" flavor.  
Earlier Daniel Wu (Ng Yin Cho) revealed that Fong Chung Shun had the 
"most special costume", which was a "mushroom head" with an arrogant 
expression.  He was almost unrecognizable; Dominic Lam Ka Wa and Gordon 
Lam Ka Tung both wore suits and sunglasses, Kenneth Tsang Kong wore a 
Chinese long robe with a hidden murderous intent between his brows.
	Director Felix Chong Man Keung pointed out that OVERHEARD 3 would 
be a story about the Hong Kong Wicked Wealthy.  Louis Koo Tin Lok and Ng 
Yin Cho could not be seen on the poster.  Director Alan Mak Siu Fai 
joked, "They are not the Wicked Wealthy, their important task in this 
film is to obstruct these Wicked Wealthy's conquest of the universe."

* (2013/10/09) Angelica Lee Sinjie accepted the Luisa Lai Chi San's 
TELLING MARIA 2 interview.  Known as the "Ghost Queen" she shared her 
"haunting" experience.  Once she sat on a bed and thought that her 
husband Oxide Pang Shun wanted to hit her, she immediately yelled at him.  
Actually something else happened entirely that made it seem like a 
"haunting".
	Speaking of her love story with Pang Shun, Lee Sinjie said, "We 
got to know each other from our film productions.  I admire him for 
having his feet on the ground, serious and humorous.  Who took the 
initiative?  I feel we both were fond of each other.  At the time the 
film promotion reached its last stop in Japan, we thought that we 
wouldn't have a chance to see each other again.  Very naturally we 
began."  Lee Sinjie had a list of people who she had to take care for 
the rest of her life.  Was this the reason that she was willing to take 
care of Pang Shun's daughter like her own?  Lee Sinjie said, "I can't 
see any child be unhappy.  If I can make up for what she is lacking in 
her life, I am very willing to do it."

* (2013/10/08) To commemorate the tenth anniversary of Anita Mui Yim 
Fong's passing, TVB will produce a music special.  The program will be 
taped in two parts to air on the 20th and the 27th.  Ah Mui's friends 
Eric Tsang Chi Wai, Eddie Lau Pui Kei and disciple Denise Ho Wan Si were 
invited to take part and share their experience with Ah Mui.  The music 
portion will feature new stars like Hins Cheung King Hin, Ivana Wong Yuen 
Chi and VOICE OF STARS singers performing Ah Mui's classic songs.
	Producer Mak Chun Tung said that the arrangement was to continue 
Ah Mui's passion for cultivating the next generation.  Her heavyweight 
singer friends like Alan Tam Wing Lun, Hacken Lee Hak Kun were busy with 
their concerts, the Grasshoppers were not in Hong Kong.  However her 
disciple Patrick Tam Yiu Man earlier made a recording in Television City 
for Ah Mui.  He not only thanked her years of giving him opportunities 
but also perform Ah Mui's song.

* (2013/10/08) Jeana Ho Pui Yu earlier worked on her new film in Shatin.  
Upon arrival she met with the production team at a restaurant.  Earlier 
she sat a side and smoked while reading the script without any regard for 
manner.  Without any make up, she soon went to the temporary make up 
room to apply eye make up then brought her costume to a nearby public 
rest room to change.
	While the team was still shooting Michelle Yim (Mai Suet) and Liu 
Kai Chi's scenes, Jeana's smoking habit acted up again.  So she dragged 
the former Mr. Asia Ryan Lam Yui and two other workers to smoke and chat 
in the stairway.  They later went to a nearby noodle shop for food.
After eating, Jeana went to the roof top restaurant for the shoot.  When 
the scene was completed Lam Yui darted toward Jeana, who was preparing to 
light up again.  Lam Yui took out a lighter and gave her a light.  
Jeana and Lam Yui chatted for awhile then packed up and left. 

* (2013/10/08) Lucas Tse Chun Hin, Quintus Tse Chun Nam and their mother 
Cecilia Cheung Pak Chi spent a long vacation in Canada.  They first 
arrived in Vancouver in early July and stayed there for two months before 
returning to Hong Kong.  Last night around 7:30 PM, Pak Chi arrived in 
Hong Kong from Vancouver with her two sons.  
	Upon leaving the gate, the waiting assistants rushed in and 
picked up Lucas and Quintus.  Pak Chi was prepared to face the waiting 
press and slowed down her pace for interviews.  Did she immigrate to 
Canada?  Was she arranging for her sons to study in Canada?  How long 
will she stay in Hong Kong?  Pak Chi repeatedly answered three times, 
"Not yet!"  She was rumored to have bought a home in Canada.  She said, 
"No!"  Earlier alimony reports upset Pak Chi.  Her manager has handed 
the matter to lawyers.  Yesterday Pak Chi was asked about alimony, she 
said that the matter was in the court's hands and she would not comment.
	Pak Chi earlier in an interview said that she was at peace.  She 
described her mood was just like normal.  When she realized that Quintus 
cried in the arms of her assistant, she immediately asked reporters not 
to scare Quintus when they took photos.  Lucas lay in the arms of the 
assistant and often made faces at reporters.
	Pak Chi suddenly responded to the earlier immigration rumor.  "We 
never said that we were immigrating, I don't know who said it.  My 
family went to Canada to keep me company, but they returned to Hong Kong 
earlier.  We are not immigrating to Canada."  

* (2013/10/08) The 10th Huading Awards last night took place in Macau.  
Oscar Award winning Best Actor Nicolas Cage and Best Actress Nicole 
Kidman received the Global Best Film Actor and Actress awards.  Nicole 
Kidman entered the venue with Jackie Chan.  Nick Chung Ka Fai won Chinese 
film Best Actor with UNBEATABLE (GIK JIN).  Originally the Best Actress 
went to THE GRANDMASTERS (YUT DOI JUNG SI)'s Zhang Ziyi, but according to 
event rules of no award for absentee this year's Best Actress could only 
be vacant.  International director Quentin Tarantino also won the Global 
Best Film Director award.
	For the Chinese region, Cheung Ka Fai again won with UNBEATABLE 
as he defeated Nicholas Tse Ting Fung and Andy Lau Tak Wa for Best Actor.  
Cage and Cheung Ka Fai after their victories were interviewed backstage.  
They shook hands and chatted a little.  Cage said that he hoped to have 
a chance to work Ka Fai; Ka Fia said that he was only being courteous.  
When he learned that Cage was considering settling in Hong Kong, he 
joked, "He's crazy!  Maybe foreign stars like the Hong Kong metropolis.  
As a Hong Konger it is a honor."  Zhang Ziyi missed out on her Best 
Actress award due to her absence.  The event could only announced its 
vacancy.  Zhang Ziyi earlier promoted her film investment MY LUCKY STAR.  
Although her relationship with Sa Beining was rumored to be tested, she 
has not appeared or explained online.
	Raymond Lam Fung and Fala Chen did not win at the TVB anniversary 
awards, but they won the China Best Television Actor and Actress awards 
at the Huading awards.  Fala felt that the award was a good start for 
her Mainland development, but she did not dare to think whether it would 
better her TVB Best Actress chances.  She disagreed that without a TVB 
contract would reduce her chances.  Fala last night did a Cable 
interview in Cantonese and had no fear of TVB.  Lam Fung said that he 
just started breaking into the Mainland market.  This award was very 
encouraging.  He hoped to get more attention with his Mainland series 
release.  Did he feel BB (Karena Ng Chin Yu) was lucky for him?  He said 
that he was very lucky to have so much support since he started; he 
stressed that he was absent from the TVB anniversary lighting ceremony 
because he had no anniversary series release.  He was not just concerned 
with dinner with his girlfriend.
	Last night when Girl Generation's Jessica appeared, she received 
the most screams and cheer.  She stood still and waved to the crowd.  
Gillian Chung Yun Tung and his former boyfriend were at the same event 
but did not run into each other; Ah Gil appeared with Anthony Wong Chau 
Sun.  Some said that she seemed to have gained weight.  Chau Sun said, 
"More meat looks better!"

* (2013/10/08) OUT OF INFERNO 3D (TOH CHOOK SUN TIN 3D) since its October 
3 release to today has accumulated HK$ 98,831,90 at the box office and 
is heading for 10 million.  Two nights ago a celebration was held.  Sean 
Lau Ching Wan posed for photos with his on screen wife Angelica Lee 
Sinjie and complained that they were not so intimate in the film.  
Director Oxide Pang Shun was asked if he prohibited his wife Lee Sinjie 
from intimate scenes?  He explained, "I have done the research, you can't 
be intimate in a fire."  Louis Koo Tin Lok heard and made fun of Pang 
Shun, "Why in the end when OUT OF INFERNO you still couldn't arrange for 
it?  Aren't you saving it for yourself to enjoy?"  Pang Shun awkwardly 
defended that the scene was cut.  Would he rather his wife be burnt in a 
fire or be kissed by someone else?  Pang Shun said, "It's just a movie, 
but being burnt by fire is more impressive!"
	Koo Tin Lok and Lau Ching Wan were dubbed online "sea of fire 
gods".  Goo Jai was very happy and said that it proved viewers got into 
the film; Ching Wan joked that Goo Jai was the god, he was just the sea 
of fire.  His wife Amy Kwok Oi Ming also treated him like an ordinary 
person.  Did he see his wife as a goddess?  Ching Wan said, "It's not so 
complicated, the old lady is the old lady."  Will he be like Nick Cheung 
Ka Fai and don a disguise to go to the movies to observe audience 
response?  Ching Wan joked, "It's actually easier to discover him in a 
disguise.  If Goo Jai and I go in after the cinema turns down the lights, 
no one would be able to see us (their skin tone is too dark)."
	Ching Wan also paid attention to Wayne Lai Yiu Cheung's home 
burglary.  He was also worried.  "Years ago I had a similar experience 
and have already strengthen security.  I would also be more alert.  
Actually nothing worth money is at home.  Ah Jeh (Liza) Wong Ming Cheun 
is different, Ah Jeh has stuff that I don't have!"

* (2013/10/08) Juno Mak Chun Lung yesterday promoted his new film RIGOR 
MORTIS (GEUNG SI) on Commercial Radio.  The film received 3 Golden Horse 
Award nominations.  The Best New Director nominee said, "I am very happy, 
especially about the Best Visual Effect nomination because the film has 
over 600 special effects."  Juno was disappointed that Nina Paw Hee Ching 
was not nominated.  "It's very regrettable.  In one scene she attacked 
Lo Hoi Pang with an incense burner, which was shot 8 or 9 times.  Each 
time she inhaled a lot of incense ash.  After each time she would run 
out and vomit."  He never thought about winning the New Director Award 
and would leave it up to fate.
	Chin Siu Ho was confident that Juno will win.  He felt that many 
film festivals selected the film, proving its substance.  Yet he was a 
little mad that Paw Hee Ching was not nominated.  Anthony Chan Yau talked 
about Dominic Chow Kai Sun's complaint that Eason Chan Yik Shun did not 
give back to the music scene.  His priest character took over as he 
joked, "20 years ago I already left the film industry, I was lucky and 
didn't see anything.  Anyone with dispute can come and find me, let me 
poke them once or twice then they will be fine!"

* (2013/10/08) Donnie Yen Chi Tan accepted a RoadShow interview to 
promote his film SPECIAL ID (DUT SHU SUN FUN), in which he was an actor, 
action director and volunteer producer.  Dubbed the Strongest in the 
Universe, Yen Chi Tan aside from kung fu was also strong in piano.  Back 
then he considered either music or kung fu to be his future road in life; 
Yen Chi Tan finally chose kung fu because he felt that the road of 
martial art would enable him to walk even further.  He also mentioned 
that he had to than his wife Cissy Wang's support for his achievement 
today; aside from sharing his workload, she also attentively took care of 
their family and children.  Yen Chi Tan said, "I am someone who is very 
introverted and self protecting, normally I rarely communicate with 
others.  My wife has changed me a lot."

* (2013/10/08) Vivian Hsu (Tsui Yeuk Suen) is nicknamed "Steel V".  
This year she has made many films and wrote new songs for movies; although 
work never stopped, she personally took care of her new official site's 
online work.  She added interactive technology and video conferences.  
Vivian said that her official site design theme was Vivian's day of 
fantasy, which displayed her personality, rock n' roll, punk and sexy yet 
mischievous sides.  Her future work will include a role that will challenge 
the queen of comedy.  She will work with director Andrew Lau Wai Keung and 
she looked forward to it very much.

* (2013/10/07) Two Best Actresses Wai Ying Hung and Nina Paw Hee Ching 
team up for new director Juno Mak Chun Lung's film RIGOR MORTIS (GEUNG 
SI).  The film has participated in the Venice Film Festival, the Toronto 
Film Festival and the Tokyo International Film Festival and received 
overall positive reviews that gave the team a shot of confidence.  Wai 
Ying Hung said that at first when Mak Chun Lung approached her she did 
not know that he was a singer.  She said, "(Willie) Chan Chi Keung 
introduced me, later Mak Chun Lung called me and talked about the script 
for a long time.  I thought for a long time about when did Hong Kong have 
a director called Mak Chun Lung?  Did he come back from studying 
overseas?  Which film was he the assistant director on?  Later when I 
went to see him at his company I realized that it was him."  Paw Hee 
Ching admitted that she has always turned down ghost stories out of fear.  
Later Mak Chun Lung personally called to persuade her and finally she was 
moved to take the role.

* (2013/10/07) Gigi Leung Wing Kei accepted fellow Dior Cheng Yi Kin's 
old flame Luisa Lai Chi san's TELLING MARIA 2 interview.  She personally 
uncovered the mysteries of "Double Kei Fight Over Noodle" and being 
crowned "Ambitious Gigi".  The interview airs tonight and tomorrow night.
	Gigi first explained that the nickname of "Ambitious Gigi" came 
from Ekin's joke.  "Before we started dating, the media asked Ekin how he 
would describe his friends.  He said that I was an Aries, Aries' 
personality is ambitious and stubborn.  Finally this incident seemed to 
have a butterfly effect and grew larger and larger.  Ekin at the time 
apologized to me and I treated it like a joke!"  She felt that she was not 
ambitious.  Gigi once was accused of being the third party between Cheng 
Yi Kin and Maggie Siu Mei Kei.  She denied, "At the time Ekin wanted to 
start a relationship, he told me that he has already broken up with 
Maggie."
	At the time did she informed reporters that she was leaving 
Ekin's home because she was ambitious to force Ekin to publicize the 
relationship?  Gigi said, "Definitely not!"  She described that her 6 
year romance with Ekin ended because they had too little time together 
and did not see each other as their lifelong companion.
	Lai Chi San asked Gigi's husband Sergio to shoot a video.  Sergio 
said "I love you" to his wife in Spanish on camera.

* (2013/10/07) THE BEST PLAN IS NO PLAN (KAU NUI BUT LEI 3 HING DAI) 
yesterday held a promotion.  Jacqueline Chong Si Man and Hanjin Tan (Chan 
Woon Yan) played rivals in the film.  The former wore high heels and 
created a strong height contrast.  When they posed for photos together 
Chan Woon Yan's line of vision happened to fall on her chest.  His 
expression was awkward.
	Chong Si Man talked about seducing Chan Woon Yan in the film in 
her underwear.  She originally asked Mrs. Chan to supervise on the set 
but she declined.  She said, "I was worried that his wife would 
misunderstand, so I asked her to be on the set.  Yet Chan Woon Yan said 
that his wife felt I was harmless, didn't treat me like a woman so she 
didn't need to supervise on the set.  I felt that I was being 
discriminated against, even looked down upon!"  Chan Woon Yan said that 
he was professional and faithful so his wife could relax.  Chong Si Man 
continued, "During the shoot we had a lot of physical contacts, I had to 
kiss him from the chest to the belly.  The director kept asking me to keep 
going, luckily I didn't come in contact with the important area."

* (2013/10/06) Louis Koo Tin Lok has many action scenes in the Johnnie To 
Kei Fung directed new film DON'T GO BREAKING MY HEART 2 (DAN SUN NAM NUI 
2).  After climbing a commercial building in Guangzhou, two days ago he 
again climbed a building in Hong Kong.  Goo Jai's mid air performance on 
wires resembled Spider-Man, but when he was climbing he accidentally 
broke a pipe.  The crew had to temporarily tape it up for Goo Jai to 
finish the scene.
	Goo Jai, Miriam Yeung Chin Wa, Gao Yuanyuan, Vic Chou Yu Man 
starred in DON'T GO BREAKING MY HEART 2.  Since the production began, Goo 
Jai has had a series of action scenes to display his agility.  Months ago 
Goo Jai climbed a building in Guangzhou, earlier he shot another rock 
climbing scenes.  Two days ago he again climbed a building, the location 
was an almost 40 year old building on Kui In Fong, Sheung Wan.  Sharply 
dressed in a suit he arrived at the scene, calm and full of confidence.
	In this scene he had to climb to the third floor, then climbed 
down along the water pipes, and rove off in a white luxury car.  Yeung 
Chin Wa witnessed his climbing in the car.  When the shoot began, the 
crew helped Goo Jai with the wire harness and brought him to the third 
floor.  He then turned into Spider-Man and climbed rapidly down the 
pipes back to the ground with ease.  However when he stepped on a piper, 
it broke into two places.  The crew immediately applied duct tape 
temporarily and continued the shoot.
	In comparison Yeung Chin Wa was much more relaxed.  She only 
needed to sit in the car.  Willie Chan Chi Keung visited th set and gave a 
hug to Goo Jai.  They chatted as Goo Jai brought him over to greet To Kei 
Fung.

* (2013/10/06) Donnie Yen Chi Tan and Eva Huang Shengyi two nights ago 
around 9 PM worked on their film THE ICEMAN 3D (3D BING FUNG HUP) at 
Central.  Yen Chi Tan and Huang Shengyi worked on a street scene and many 
prop stalls were set up along the way.  Many extras played pedestrians as 
they took a stroll for the scene.  When Yen Chi Tan tensely grabbed Huang 
Shengyi by the arm, she was stunned.
	The team arrived at the location in the afternoon and st up 
many prop vendor carts.  They began setting up the lights around dusk.  
Yen Chi Tan arrived at 9:15 PM.  Before the shoot he presented incense 
sticks and prayed for a smooth shoot.  He also posed for a photo with a 
foreign fan.  The always serious at work Yen Chi Tan before the shoot 
studied the script and shots with the director and Huang Shengyi.  Huang 
Shengyi's script had many highlights, seemingly she spent some time on 
studying it.
	Before Yen Chi Tan arrived, Hanjin Tan (Chan Woon Yan) and his 
wife visited the set with take out boxes.  After waiting for awhile they 
left without seeing Yen Chi Tan.  Chan Woon Yan's wife was very shy and 
kept her distance from her husband deliberately when she saw reporters.

* (2013/10/06) Kelly Chen Wai Lam two nights ago attended a Marc by Marc 
Jacobs party.  Earlier Kelly worked with Tony Leung Ka Fai and Dior Cheng 
Yi Kin on the new film TOH MA GEI (HORSE ROBBERY BIOGRAPHY) in Prague.
	Speaking of Leung Ka Fai's rib injuries from a motorcycle scene 
on the first day of the shoot and had to resign from a TVB series, Kelly 
said that she was not present at the accident.  "As soon as I got off the 
plane I heard about Ka Fai's injury and I was scared out of my mind.  
However he was very professional.  He rested a day and continued the 
shoot.  As soon as he moved I would panic, as I wanted to properly 
protect him.  Yet he still risked his life on running scenes.  I could 
only tell him not to take too many risks."
	Aside from Leung Ka Fai's injury, Kelly almost had a serious 
accident during an indoor rock climbing scene.  "When I was rock climbing 
I had a safety harness.  As I was descending after the shoot, the rope 
suddenly snapped and I fell to the ground.  I was very scared!"  Luckily 
when the rope broke Kelly was only a meter off the ground and she had 
safety padding below her.  She said, "Mine wasn't as severe as Leung Ka 
Fai.  I immediately presented incense sticks and pray!"  She said that 
luckily when she had her accident the rock climbing shoot was already 
done.  Will she increase her insurance policy?  She said, "It's useless, 
I can only take all the safety precaution and use a few more ropes."

* (2013/10/06) Michael Wong Man Tak, his wife Janet Ma Si Man and 
children yesterday participated in Hong Chi Climbathon Charity Stair Run, 
a 29 floor relay race.  His son started with the first 8 floors, then 
Wong Man Tak, his wife and daughter each were responsible for 7.  Ma Si 
Wai said that at home only she had zero exercise.  Last week at the test 
run her heart beat faster and she worried if he could finish.  Yet for 
charity and getting some exercise along the way she gave it a try.  
Finally they came in second in the family group.
	Wong Man Tak earlier guest starred in two films FROM VEGAS TO 
MACAU (DOH SING FUNG WON) and DELETE (DELETE OI YUN).  He was happy about 
working with Chow Yun Fat again.  Was he cooler between him and Fat Gor?  
He said of course Fat Gor was cool.  He praised Fat Gor for being very 
nice and teaching him about acting.

* (2013/10/05) Chrissie Chau Sau Na and Chapman To Man Jat worked 
together on the film MR. AND MRS. PLAYER (LAN GWUN FU DAU LAN GWUN CHAI).  
Ah Jat was more than lucky.  He not only played a couple with goddess 
Sister Na, but pseudo model Iris Chung Choi Yi would seduce him as well!  
No wonder Ah Jat had to thank Wong Jing, as he joked that he treated him 
before that his own father.
	Sister Na and Ah Jat in the film enjoyed screwing around as much 
as the other, but Ah Jat in order to prove that he deeply loved her was 
willing to accept Sister Na's "100 days of living together without sex" 
test.  During the period he had to face the temptation of many beauties.  
Ah Jat of course was in a great mood!  Actually in his previous film THE 
MIDAS TOUCH (CHIU CUP GAING LEI YUN) Charlene Choi Cheuk Yin already felt 
him up.  This time it was goddess Sister Na's turn.  No wonder he 
repeatedly thanked Brother Jing.  "Last time in MEN SUDDENLY IN LOVE (MANG 
NAM GWUN SEI DUI) I have already worked with Sister Na, but she 
actually was paired with (Eric Tsang) Chi Wai.  Chi Wai and Sister Na, 
come on, how did that happen?  Maybe Brother Jing knew that I wanted to 
work with Sister Na, so this time he arranged for us to work together."  
Ah Jat joked that the scene with the most bad takes was his fantasy of 
how Sister Na would seduce him.  He was still savoring it as he joked 
that he truly had bad takes like crazy that day for any chance to be with 
Sister Na.  Thus he was the unhappiest about how quickly the film was 
completed.
	Ah Jat also joked that now he rather enjoys promotional 
interviews because he could see Sister Na again.  He also stressed that 
Sister Na was the one and the only one goddess in his heart.  Being able 
to work together and even playing a couple, he could die without any 
regret!  Since the film was blatantly about "screwing around", was his 
wife Krystal Tin Yui Nei worried?  Ah Jat who recently successfully got 
into shape said, "Every man wants to screw around whenever he has the 
chance, but now everyone is a paparazzo, where would I have a chance.  I 
can only give up.  Ah Tin too has given up on me, she didn't even bother 
visiting the set."
	Facing Ah Jat's barrage of words, Sister Na often cracked up.  As 
for Ah Jat making bad takes like crazy for her, she said, "He covered for 
me a lot, actually I was the one who couldn't hold back my laughter and 
had nonstop bad takes."  During the shoot she and her boyfriend broke up 
and she was becoming too thin.  Ah Jat kept telling her to eat, which 
touched me.  "Ah Jat seems like he is always flirting, but I can sense 
his concern completely.  I was very touched.  I hope to find a boyfriend 
who treats me well in the future."  Sister Na said that she was looking 
for a boyfriend who treats her well, looks were not too important.  
Speaking of becoming a "category III' female star, Sister Na said that it 
felt special.  However the film received the category III rating because 
of foul language.  Although she had sexy performance, she admitted that 
she was no match for pseudo model Iris, who shot a bathing scene wearing 
just tape.  She did not even clear the set.  She was daring and made 
Sister Na admit defeat.

* (2013/10/05) Donnie Yen Chi Tan earlier appeared at Central.  With 
period hair in modern clothing he was actually shoot a sequel for his 
upcoming film THE ICEMAN 3D (BING FUNG HUP 3D).  Chi Tan seemed to be 
working many jobs on the set, aside from starring he also had to direct 
the action.  Although he was busy, he still personally instructed the 
extras how to punch, kick and take their marks!
	The over HK$ 200 million film THE ICEMAN 3D has been in 
production for some time.  Yen Chi Tan, Simon Yam Tat Wa and others 
revealed on numerous occasions that the production has went over time, 
so far they still were uncertain when the film will wrap.  Earlier Yen 
Chi Tan appeared at Central in costume, some asked and learned that he 
was shooting the sequel for THE ICEMAN.  Perhaps the tam wanted to finish 
two films at once then release them?
	Earlier around 5PM, the team began its preparation at the 
location.  Around 7:30PM Chi Tan and his assistant appeared.  In a long 
hair wig he put a red hair clip in his hair.  This shoot featured Chi 
Tan and a foreigner in a suit's fight scene.  Although it was a simple 
hand to hand combat scene, actor and action director Chi Tan still 
instructed extras how to strike and take their marks before the shoot.  
Then he would retreat to the side, play with his phone and discuss the 
shoot with the crew.  After the extras finished fighting, Chi Tan then 
added a few camera facing shots and left around 9:30PM.

* (2013/10/05) The Cheuk Wan Chi directed, Chrissie Chau Sau Na, Hidy Yu 
Hiu Tung and DaDa Lo Chung Chi starred film KICK ASS GIRLS (BAU 3 CHIU 
GIU WA) will be released in November.  The theme song PRIMITIVE WEAPON 
(YUEN CHI MO HEI) earlier was officially unveiled, and the performer is 
Cheng Sau Man.  Actually Sammi and Ah Chi have been friends for years.  
When Sammi learned that Ah Chi's directing debut will soon be released, 
she volunteered to preform the theme song.  Ah Chi was very touched.  How 
will she thank Sammi?  She said, "I really have nothing in return, I 
can't sing.  So I decide to give myself to her, taking care of Sammi's 
food, drinks, and fun whenever she wants."

* (2013/10/05) The 25 year old Isabella Leong Lok Si returned to the film 
industry and starred in the Sylvia Chang (Cheung Ngai Ga) directed new 
film LIM LIM.  At the same time sh was rumored to be in a relationship 
with Cheung Ngai Ga's 22 year old son Oscar Wong Ling Chun for a year.  
Yesterday LIM LIM had a media visit, Leong Lok Si when asked about rumors 
with Wong Ling Chun did not denied it.  She only said, "Save personal 
questions for next time."
	Reporters showed vacation photos of Leong Lok Si and Wong Ling 
Chun in Toronto and London to Leong Lok Si to confirm his identity.  She 
was somewhat surprised after looking at them.  "Save personal questions 
for next time."  She did not deny anything but she did not confirm that 
they were on holiday in Canada and England.
	Leong Lok Si is the mother of three sons.  In LIM LIM she and

smiled and avoided the topic, "Let's talk about the movie!"
	As for earlier a magazine caught her smoking, Leong Lok Si 
stressed that the story required it.  She was not afraid of smoking's 
effect on her health.  "Friends even made fun of me and said that it 
didn't look like me at all.  My character has depression so she has to 
smoke a lot.  However I don't know how to smoke.  The director wants me 
to learn and everyone on the set were teaching me how to inhale and 
exhale."  Leong Lok Si recalled her first experience.  "Smoking stinks, 
and I end up coughing.  One day at most I would smoke 3 cigarettes to 
practice."  Speaking of how she would quit smoking, Leong Lok Si said 
that eating made her feel better.  Her favorites were red beans and 
custard wheel cakes.
	Leong Lok Si has retired from film for 7 years and was rumored 
to be very rusty and had frequent bad takes.  Playing an artist she 
yesterday shot a book signing scene, the numerous bad takes were due to 
the extras being out of place.  Cheung Ngai Ga patiently instructed them.  
Leong Lok Si said, "The shoot has turned the time for rest upside down, I 
have brought my homemade winter melon tea to lower the temper.  I played 
an unhealthy girl, now my body isn't too great either.  Everyday I seem 
to have a personality split and I haven't slept well."
	6 years ago after she made the Tsui Hark directed MISSING (SUM 
HOI CHUM YUN) she suddenly lost contact during the promotional period.  
Tsui Hark earlier said that he was "waiting for her to find me".  Leong 
Lok Si responded, "Uh......waiting for me to find him?  I have been 
making a movie all along, lately I really am very busy."

* (2013/10/05) Sammi Cheng Sau Man two nights ago on TELLING MARIA 2 
talked about her break up and reunion with Andy Hui Chi On.  She said 
that when they broke up they have been in a relationship for 10 years and 
reached a bottle neck.  They were not married yet and seemingly never 
would, and at the time in her 20s she was at a sprint in her career.  
Thus they naturally broke up; years later they got back together because 
the timing and the opportunity arrived as they both were single at the 
time.
	Sammi joked, "At the time anyone in my way had to die!  (Was On 
Jai in your way?)  No, I didn't want death for him, but we naturally 
broke up.  (After breaking up with On Jai, did you have other suitors?)  
I have tried to be with other people, but after dinner I felt we couldn't 
communicate and said bye bye."
	Sammi and On Jai after years apart got back together again.  She 
said it was an issue of timing and opportunity.  At the time they were 
both single, since both had the guts to get back together they tried 
again.  When they were caught with pork thigh and ox tongue they were at
the beginning and were learning to get along.
	Sammi said, "Being together again years later, I realized that I 
didn't put an effort into knowing this person before.  It was like the 
first time again with many things.  Actually he had a good side that I 
didn't realize before.  Maybe before I was too self centered and focused 
at work, I was blind to it.  Now we both are giving the same amount, we 
are truly getting along.  I really admire him for only seeing my good 
side.  He told me, 'You don't know how happy I was when I was with you!' 
which touched me a lot.  He did not remember my bad side and only 
remembered how happy he was with me.  Papa said that marriage was not 
just love, but also learning to appreciate your companion.  Now I am 
grown, I have learned to control my mood and being together has been very 
comfortable.  When we are together he still has his own world.  He also 
respects me a lot."
	However she stated that now she still has not considered having 
a child.  "If I can choose, I am iffy on having a child.  I don't know 
how to raise it.  Now I choose not to, I hope in the future to volunteer 
and help those in need.  My companion accepts my idea."  Will she have

* (2013/10/04) The Johnnie To Kei Fung directed, Miriam Yeung Chin Wa, 
Louis Koo Tin Lok, Gao Yuanyuan and Vic Chou Yu Man starred DON'T GO 
BREAKING MY HEART 2 (DAN SUN NAM NUI 2) is near the end of its shoot!  
Two days ago To Sir brought the team to Shek O for a rock climbing 
scene.  Goo Jai and Chin Wa were in full gear to climb, in the story they 
are rock climbing experts so very quickly they reached the top.
	After Goo Jai and Chin Wa reached the time, they seemed to have 
breathed a sigh of relief.  They stared at the sea and enjoyed a deep 
breath.  However because To Sir had to shoot the sun, Goo Jai and Chin Wa 
could not enjoy the beautiful scenery more and had to rush to the next 
scene.
	Around 5PM they ended the shoot.  Goo Jai and Chin Wa walked to 
their vehicles that was 15 minutes away on foot.  Chin Wa was a little 
out of breath but Goo Jai was fine.  Later they even ran into pedestrians 
asking for photos and autographs and they agreed.

* (2013/10/04) Nick Cheung Ka Fai earlier while working on the Lee Chi 
Ngai romance FAN MA GEI (SELLING HORSE BIOGRAPHY) in Prague injured his 
ribs during a motorcycle scene.  After resting awhile, yesterday he 
attended a breast cancer awareness event.  He reminded all the husbands 
to be concern with their wives' breast health.  He joked, "Whenever you 
have a chance, help with the examination.  It's great, you should 
attentively and properly help."  As for his Golden Horse Best Actor 
nomination, he joked, "(Nick) Cheung Ka Fai is young and strong, I am 
old, weak and crippled."

* (2013/10/04) The Carina Lau Ka Ling, Mark Chao (Chiu Yau Ting), 
Angelababy (Yang Ying) starred Emperor Motion Pictures distributed new 
film YOUNG DETECTIVE DEE RISE OF THE SEA DRAGON (DIK YUN KIT ji SUN DOH 
LUNG WONG) last month opened in the Mainland, Hong Kong, North America, 
Singapore, Malaysia and other locations.  In five short days its box 
office has already reached 264 million yuan!  The film two days ago held 
its Taipei premiere.  Taiwan representative Chiu Yau Ting, Lin Gengxin 
and director Tsui Hark appeared.  Chiu Yau Ting even called in favors for 
his homecoming and invited many friends like JJ Lin, Jiro Wang and Nikki 
Hsieh.  Although leads Angelababy and Feng Shaofeng were absent, they 
sent videos to greet Taipei viewers!
	At the premiere, host Mickey Huang asked Lin Gengxin if 
Angelababy and Chiu Yau Ting fell into the water, who would he rescue

* (2013/10/04) The 10th Huading Awards aside from the Best Film Actor 
competition between Sean Lau Ching Wan, Nick Cheung Ka Fai and Nicholas 
Tse Ting Fung has other guests including Joey Yung Cho Yi, Irene Wan Bik 
Ha, Anthony Wong Chau Sun, Fala Chen, Raymond Lam Fung, Christy Chung Lai 
Tai, Wang Xueqi and Liu Xiaoqing who will be making her first appearance 
after marriage.  Famous Hollywood director Quentin Tarantino and famous 
Canadian singer Avril Lavigne will attend as well.
	The Huading Award secretary general Wang Kun revealed that Avril 
Lavigne will lad a team of 20 some people to Macau and perform two songs 
at the event.  As for difficulties of inviting overseas guests, Wang Kun 
said, "This time we are in Macau, many guests were unclear about 
transportation and always thought that it was far because they had to go 
to Hong Kong first then take a ferry.  We needed some time to explain."
	The Huading Award just took place in April in Hong Kong, and in 
October it will take place again in Macau.  Wong Kun admitted that the 
Huading Award is not an annual event.  By 2024 it will have 67 events 
already.  The event even planned to take place in different places like 
Korea, Singapore, England, Germany and France.  In recent years the 
winners have been veterans and young actors seemed to lack opportunities, 
which reflected on the market's generation gap.  Wang Kun admitted that 
this was a problem but understood that investors would have box office 
considerations when casting.  Everyone would study how to resolve the 
generation gap issue.

* (2013/10/04) Justin Cheung Kin Sing, Sammy Sum Chun Hi and Hanjin Tan 
(Chan Woon Yan) worked together in their new film THE BEST PLAN IS NO 
PLAN (KAU NUI BUT LEI 3 HING DAI).  Their relationships were rather 
decently.  Earlier in an interview they traded compliments.  Cheung Kin 
Sing praised his kiss scene "co-star" Hanjin as a good kisser.  Chan Woon 
Yan also praised Cheung Kin Sing and Sum Chun Hin as handsome.  Speaking 
of goddess, Cheung Kin Sing admitted, "My goddess is Elva (Ni), I feel 
that everything of hers is very sweet and she has the quality of a 
goddess with her big eyes and long hair.  Earlier when I worked with her, 
I had to walk away as soon as the cameras stopped rolling.  A few seconds 
later I would have fallen for her!"
	Cheung Kin Sing was asked if they had a chance.  "After the shoot 
we had contact, going to dinner and chatting.  She really is very 
elegant, everything is very slow and very pretty.  When I see her I have 
feelings, like a light veil is in front of her."  Chan Woon Yan praised 
Cheung Kin Sing for his lovable personality.  He liked him very much.

* (2013/10/04) Elanne Kong Yeuk Lam's junior colleague Jackie Xu (Tsui 
Kai Kei) two years ago came from Shanghai.  After a tough period of 
adjustment, she had more and more commercial work and even played Louis 
Koo Tin Lok's secretary in the 3D disaster film OUT OF INFERNO 3D (TOH 
CHOOK SUN TIN 3D).  She praised Goo Jai as very friendly and for taking 
care of her.  "My deepest impression was when we went to shoot in 
Guangzhou, it was cold and pouring.  The set only had one umbrella and 
not enough towels.  He actually gave them to me!  I never thought that 
such a famous guy would be so attentive!"  Jackie regretted that she did 
not have the chance to play Goo Jai wife, but she said that since she has 
never made a kiss scene if Goo Jai kissed her she would faint from the 
tension.
	Jackie revealed that while in school she was a short haired 
tomboy who loved exciting activities.  She hoped to try to play a female 
fire fighter next time and show off her abilities.

* (2013/10/04) The 23 year old singer Carlson Cheng Ka Sing before 
becoming a singer already caught the eyes of Raymond Wong Pak Ming.  At 
age 17 he was fortunate enough to take part in IP MAN and played Chow 
Kwong Yiu, the son of Simon Yam Tat Wa and worked with the Strongest in 
the Universe Yen Chi Tan.
	Carlson still remembered the pain of the set like it was 
yesterday.  "On the set I didn't know anything, people always yelled at 
me.  During the shoot I was even beaten into a pulp.  At the time I 
really wanted to give up.  I quietly called Mommy and said that I wanted 
to come home."  Although it was rough, Carlson was lucky enough to meet 
his "Old Man" Yam Tat Wa.  He even revealed that he and Brother Wa often 
had close talks.  "Brother Wa always taught me how to act, at the time 
he wanted to find an elementary school for his daughter so he asked me 
for a lot of advice.  I discovered that he was very humorous!"  Carlson 
also said that whenever he prepared to take his mark, Chi Tan would keep 
to himself in a corner to get into the mood.  No one would dare to 
disturb him.

* (2013/10/04) Model and DJ Elva Ngai Wing Yan looked very cool when she 
chok for the camera, but when she laughed she was exactly like a silly 
lady.  Her "two face" potential was rather high.  Earlier she 
participated in the film MR. AND MRS. PLAYER (LAN GWUN FU DAU LAN GWUN 
CHAI) and recently she guest starred in LAN KWAI FONG 3 (HEI OI YEH PO
3).  Speaking of playing Chrissie Chau Sau Na's close friend in MR., she 
said that the opportunity was rare.  Since Sister Na was her idol she did 
not mind playing a minor role around her at all.  "Aside from admiring 
Sister Na's figure, I also feel that she speaks from her own mind and 
strength.  Her personality is very direct!"  Normally Elva works as a DJ 
in night spots, on her own time she would choose quieter sports.  "I like 
high temperature yoga, swimming and working out."

* (2013/10/04) Female rapper KiKi Tam Kei Kei in the horror film TALES 
OF THE DARK II (KEI WAN YEH) starred in a segment. Determined to 
develop in multiple areas, she stressed that she would not mind intimate 
scenes with male stars and even chose Taiwan hunk Eddie Peng Yu-Yen to 
be her co-star.  "My taste is changing all the time, sometimes I would 
stare at topless workers, lately I like Peng Yu-Yen.  When I saw his 
muscles I was really drooling!"
	Already single for a year, KiKi actually ran into a male star who 
tempted her to be a "third party".  "Normally we chat like friends, when 
it felt ambiguous, if both are single then I am OK.  However he already 
has a companion, I would rather die than be a third party."  She also 
said that with her natural "third party" look friends often would make 
the mistake.  "Maybe of my looks and my job, friends always mistake me

* (2013/10/04) Luisa Lai Chi San yesterday attended an appliance 
promotion event with Tsim Sha Tsui East cat star "Brother Cream".  Chi 
San measured Brother Cream, who was not used to being measured with so 
may people looking on.  Luckily Chi San made some slight adjustments and 
completed the task.  She said, "Actually Brother Cream weighs more than a 
vacuum cleaner!"  Chi San even personally gave Brother Cream a massage 
and Brother Cream looked like he rather enjoyed it.
	Lai Chi San's program TELLING MARIA aired its first episode 
with Liu Xiaoqing during the National Day holiday and received 21 point 
ratings (around 1.34 million viewers).  Lai Chi San was satisfied with 
the rating.  The outside response to Sammi Cheng Sau Man's interview has 
been good and she was confident that the rating would rise again.
	Sammi two nights ago in her interview said that she was the 
typical Leo.  She wanted perfection in everything that she did, when she 
could not achieve her own demand she would easily throw a tantrum.  She 
would take out her mood on those around her and admitted that she was very

	Lai Chi San said, "When Sammi talked about her former assistant 
Ah Song, she was very touching!  Ah Song was an alumni of my school.  
Originally she agreed to make a video in response to Sammi, but she was 
shy and turned it down.  Privately she said that Sammi was not as bad as 
the outside made her out to be."  She said that tonight Sammi would talk 
about "the most important man in her life".  She admitted that the 
program gave her a lot of money making opportunity, but she would not 
randomly increase her rate.  She joked, "When I win another award then I 
will increase it, I don't want to scare off clients.  I just got a raise

* (2013/10/04) Donnie Yen Chi Tan in his new film SPECIAL ID (DUT SHU SUN 
FUN) had three jobs.  He stated that he thought about not taking this 
film that could be described as an awful mess.  Luckily he called in all 
his favors and received support from friends everywhere, including Ronald 
Cheng Chung Kei who took the time to guest star.  Although he had to 
star, handle the action director and creative producer jobs that left him 
with only 3 hours of sleep a day, injuries all over and even dislocated 
his spine, he still persisted; all because he felt that he was one of 
the pillars of Hong Kong kung fu films and hoped to let the entire world 
know through his influence that Hong Kong kung fu films remained very 
strong.
	Yen Chi Tan in the film played a Hong Kong cop undercover.  He 
pointed out that the most difficult part was for realism the 
co-production had to add mob background and foul language elements, which 
was a difference of opinions with what investors asked for.  Yet he still 
insisted on make Hong Kong film that was a co-production on the surface 
and hoped to continue the return to modern action films after SPL (SAT 
POR LONG) and FLASH POINT (DOH FOR SIN) and make this film a part of his 
Mixed Martial Art film trilogy.  He said, "I know that everyone like to 
watch IP MAN in the past few years, I can just keep making IP MAN sequels 
but I don't want to stay under the so-called IP MAN halo.  I want to 
find ways to show viewers improvement.  Thus after IP MAN I have tried 
many different characters.  This time before the shoot I was already 
fully prepared.  Aside from studying a lot of time to study MMA in the 
past few years, in order to play this Wise Guy character well I even 
studied Fat Gor (Chow Yun Fat)'s character Ko Chau in the film CITY ON 
FIRE (LUNG FU FUNG WON) interpretation methods."
	Chi Tan revealed that in his final fight scene with Andy Tien (On 
Chi Kit) he aggravated his old wound.  "Once I took the wrong spot and On 
Chi Kit's jump kick hit my forehead.  I really fainted and couldn't speak 
for several minutes.  Once I went for a x-ray for pain in my shoulder, I 
discovered that my entire bone structure was damaged, even my spine was 
crooked."
	As for On Chi Kit's acting, Chi Tan said, "On Chi Kit is fully 
qualified to be an action film successor!  He performed very well in this 
movie."  As for the guest star Cheng Chung Kei, Chi Tan described their 
relationship in the film as "Stephen Chow Sing Chi and Ng Man Tat".  
Cheng Chung Kei revealed that although he did not need to fight, he did 
not feel particularly comfortable either.  He said, "We shot one scene 
in the Stanley sewage treatment plant.  We shot an argument scene and had 
to breathe hard.  When we broke for meals I didn't even have the 
appetite to eat.  That scene was the hardest to take."
	In the trailer, Yen Chi tan and On Chi Kit had many fight 
scenes.  They were bloodied and battered.  Yen Chi tan admitted that he 
focused on fight scenes and wanted to put the best visuals together.  Thus 
he shot many scenes.

* (2013/10/04) Raymond Wong Pak Ming earlier worked on a television 
commercial for a tea from Malaysia with his company's Janelle Sing Kwan.  
They played father and daughter; however the idea of having Sing Kwan in 
the commercial was the advertisers'.  The salary even reached six figure.  
Sing Kwan's first film BABY BLUES 3D (NGAI YING) will soon open.  Sing 
Kwan admitted that she was very nervous.  Ultimately this was her first 
film.  She also looked forward to outside reviews.  Wong Pak Ming praised 
Sing Kwan's performance in the film.  He said, "Her performance is great, 
so the company in the future will make a few movies for her to star in."  
With the company's support, Sing Kwan happily said that she had to 
prepare herself properly and learn Cantonese and English.

* (2013/10/03) Ava Yu Kiu yesterday promoted on Metro Radio.  Earlier 
she and Alex Lam Tak Shun performed a bed scene only in their underwear.  
Yu Kiu said, "Actually after the shoot I was scared for a long time 
because I was still a little fat.  I was afraid that the result would not 
be good.  Most of the dozens of people on the set were men, so I had to 
drink for courage."  Was she as extreme with her boyfriend Adason Lo (Law 
Lik Wai)?  Yu Kiu awkwardly said twice that she did not know how to 
reply and that she did not ask what reaction Law Lik Wai had.  Yu Kiu 
also revealed that although the bed scene with Lam Tak Shun was already 
her bottom line, in the middle of the month she might go to Korea to work 
on an even more extreme hot spring cheating scene.  She said, "In 
addition now I am starting to be scared, I have to lose weight before 
shooting it!"

* (2013/10/03) Tony Leung Ka Fai earlier worked on the Lee Chi Ngai 
directed romance FAN MA GEI (SELLING POINT BIOGRAPHY) in Prague with 
Dior Cheng Yi Kin and Kelly Chen Wai Lam.  When he shot a motorcycle 
scene he was injured, broke a rib and had slight tear on two ribs.  
After stopping to work for awhile he was fine.  Ka Fai yesterday said, 
"I can't do anything about injuring three ribs on a film set accident, 
now I am already fine.  I just can't chase, rush, run, jump and have any 
contact.  I also have monthly doctor appointments.  That's why I turned 
down the TVB series.  Today I still have to fly to Taiwan for a charity 
event."  Ka Fai after recovering will make the film COLD WAR 2 in January.

* (2013/10/03) Wu Chun chose to reveal that he is already married and has 
a daughter at the release of his new book IGNITE COURAGE.  Yesterday at 
the Taiwan press conference, he revealed that his wife Lai Lai Ying at 
the end of the month will give birth to their second child, a son.  He 
bowed numerous times to apologize for hiding his family status and lying, 
pleaded for understanding from the outside.  He even denied that he 
"sold out his wife" to generate buzz and book sales.  His wife also was 
unveiled in a low profile manner in his new book.  She even sent him a 
text message to urge him to "face it bravely".
	Wu Chun yesterday made fun of himself at the press conference.  "I 
have never run into such a tense press conference."  He even invited famed 
television hostess Matilda Tao Ching-Ying to navigate for him.  His 
father was also on hand to cheer him on, while his wife encouraged him 
to face it bravely.
	At the press conference, Wu Chun again revealed that his wife 
Lam Lai Ying is with their second child, a son.  Now he is his daughter's 
number one fan, as he is able to change diapers, bathe her and feed her.  
His daughter is already able to tell his father from a Fahrenheit poster.  
He felt that he was a "90 point" good husband and Papa.
	Since he wed at the end of 2009 and his daughter was born in 
2010, why did he hid them until two days ago?  Wu Chun at the press 
conference still blamed it on his wife for not wanting exposure.  Wu Chun 
said, "She has her own mind, I have to respect her decision.  Perhaps now 
that she is a mother she wants to face it bravely and share it, so she 
decides on telling."  He stressed that in 2009 the media's so-called "wife 
and daughter" photo was his sister in law and niece.
	Wu Chun's wife Lam Lai Ying actually made a low profile 
appearance in his new book IGNITE COURAGE.  In a black and white photo, 
she wore a pony tail and had big eyes.  She was introducing Wu Chun's 
fitness center to Brunei with Wu Chun who also tied up his hair and 
brought in the latest equipment.  He has not unveiled his daughter yet, 
but in one phone he held his daughter's tiny hand.
	Wu Chun admitted that he lied to the media and fans.  Yesterday 
he first apologized to his agency.  "I put my family first, as long as my 
family isn't comfortable I will protect them with all my might!"  In the 
final moment, he bowed to the media in apology.  "If I have done anything 
wrong and said anything wrong, I am sorry."
	As for rumors with Angela Chang and Ella, he denied that he was 
cheating, stressed that he only acted with them and they were very good 
working partnerships.  They have never gone out alone.  Yet two days ago 
before the announcement, he still took the initiative to inform those 
good friends.  Ella yesterday sent flowers with a note, "Congratulations, 
Brave Old Pa".
	In his 18 years with his wife, has he thought about breaking up?  
He admitted that in their first year they often fought, but they would 
resolve it before going to bed that night.  Show business indeed had many 
temptations, luckily he grew up in Brunei and was someone who was easily 
satisfied.  He only wanted to cherish what he had, and his other half has 
always trusted him.  He also denied that he made the announcement now to 
speculate his new book because his new book would not only donate his 
royalty but also another HK$ 1 million to Taiwan, Hong Kong, Brunei, and 
Mainland children's educational assistance.
	He stressed that he has never been afraid that his marriage would 
affect his value, because if he was someone who thought his show business 
career was everything he would not only make one movie a year.  "All 
along my family to me is the most important!"  Later he still would make 
movies with the support of his other half, whenever he ran into suitable 
work and as long as time permitted.

* (2013/10/03) Lau Kar Leung's widow Mary Jean Reimer (Yung Jing Jing) 
yesterday morning held a 100 day of passing vegetarian banquet for Lau 
Kar Lung at the Po Lin Monastery on Lantau Island.  Lau Kar Leung's son 
Lau Wing Keung, disciple Sin Kwok Lam and his disciple Rose Chan Ka Wun 
attended.  The master of ceremony first host a scripture chanting, then 
began the banquet.  Yung Jing Jing's eyes were all red from crying.  She 
said that Master Lau's funeral matter has come to an end.  Yesterday she 
also removed her mourning clothes.  Her daughters were overseas and did 
not attend.
	Yung Jing Jing revealed that February 13 has already been chosen 
for Master Lau's entombment and the tomb stone will be black.  Speaking 
of the progress on her demand for at least HK$ 5 million film bonus for 
Master Lau from Shaw, Yung Jing Jing smiled and said, "Sin Kwok Lam is 
the most obedient.  They said that if I would be a little more low key 
during this period they would consider making a donation.  I wouldn't 
chime in anymore.  I hope they would follow through."  She then asked Sin 
Kwok Lam, "Did Wong Ka Hi say that if I don't to talk so much they would 
pay?"  Sin Kwok Lam said, "Actually for Shaw to donate money to charity 
it is no problem, meaning that it is at everyone's best interest not to 
use the law.  Shaw is such a large company, for them to admit that they 
owe salary they would have disputes.  Reputation wise it may not work.  
Last week I dined with Wong Ka Hei.  He was very gracious and sincere."
	Yung Jing Jing admitted that nothing would be resolved until the 
money arrived.  "I know that now they have some difficulties, I will 
coordinate.  The goal is the donation to benefit some stunt people.  I 
am willing to make any concession.  Even if we don't use the word 'bonus' 
I don't mind, as long as we can help others."  Has she called Mona Fong 
Yat Wa?  "I left it to Sin Kwok Lam to handle, my luck with dialing 
wasn't good.  I never got through no matter how many times I called."  
Would she set a deadline?  She said, "Let's have good news on Master's 
February 13 entombment next year."  Sin Kwok Lam also agreed, "I hope to 
fulfill Master's wish before entombment and have a conclusion."

* (2013/10/03) Sean Lau Ching Wan, Louis Koo Tin Lok and Angelica Lee 
Sinjie starred film OUT OF INFERNO 3D (TOH CHOOK SUN TIN 3D) already 
exceeded HK$ 2.9 million at the Hong Kong advanced screening box office.  
Its National Day single day box office reached HK$ 1.17 million.  The 
trio just completed their Singapore and Malaysia promotions and returned 
to Hong Kong.  When they heard the good news they excited said that it 
was a shot of confidence and hoped the film will continue to burn up the 
box office.
	Goo Jai and Ching Wan rarely promoted films in Singapore and 
Malaysia in recent years and were very popular with fans there.  Fans in 
order to get a closer look of their idols already camped out the night 
before at the shopping center.  Sinjie came to promote in her home field 
Malaysia and felt it was a lot of fun.

* (2013/10/03) YOUNG AND DANGEROUS (GOO WAT JAI)'s Dior Cheng Yi Kin, 
Jordan Chan Siu Chun, Michael Tse Tin Wa, Chin Kar Lok and Jerry Lamb 
Hiu Fung yesterday attended their music video premiere.  The quintet 
chok and played cool in the music video, but then turned around and 
blasted each other with water guns.  In the end they got calls from their 
families and rushed home.  
	The 28th and tomorrow (the 4th) would be Jerry Lamb Hiu Fung 
and Cheng Yi Kin's birthdays respectively, the event brought out a cake 
to celebrate.  Siu Chun suddenly brought out a bottle of what he claimed 
to be "virgin urine" yellow liquid and spray it all over Cheng Yi Kin.  
Siu Chun was asked what kind of liquid it was.  
	Chin Kar Lok cut in, "This is the virgin urine from Siu Chun's 
son, no taboo!  However, Siu Chun's son didn't go today, so Siu Chun 
went himself!"  Chan Siu Chun followed, "I don't know, they (the crew) 
said it was cream soda so I splashed it!  Today is the premiere, we have 
to celebrate!"  Later Siu Chun even said that he wished Cheng Yi Kin 
would have a child soon.  Ekin said, "Wait until later!  I will 
definitely have my revenge!"  Would Ekin have a son soon so he could 
splash Siu Chun back?  He immediately said no.
	Siu Chun joked that he was the pettiest among the quintet but he 
would not get mad.  At most he would not speak.  At the event Ekin and 
Lam Hiu Fung only cut the cake but did not blow out candles.  Ekin 
explained, "One year, I blew out Lam Hiu Fung's candles and he got 
married that year."  Lam Hiu Fung said, "Earlier when we celebrated 
birthdays I blew out a candle and wished that this year he would have a 
child.  He got mad.  Actually he bears grudges the longest among us and 
is very petty.  He and I rehearsed for the concert the earliest.  Now he 
said no more rehearsal!"
	How would Ekin celebrate his birthday?  He said that he already 
celebrated earlier.  With the concert on the way, this month was key.  
Thus he would not have a big celebration.  Speaking of his friend Wu Chun 
admitting to becoming a father over two years ago, Ekin said, "I 
originally wanted to visit him, but now I would wait until the concerts 
are over."

1. APPLE DAILY, OCOTBER 6 2013, ELECTRIC FILM ROAD
PANG BROTHERS ARE FORCED TO GO TO GUANGZHOU

	Honesty, OUT OF INFERNO 3D is the long awaiting Hong Kong fire 
disaster film.  Fire everywhere is indeed exciting, but the film location 
is Guangzhou.  When Sean Lau Ching Wan and Louis Koo Tin Lok both put on 
"Guangzhou Fire Department" (simplified characters) fire fighting 
uniforms, awkwardness is somewhat inevitable.  Originally we think that 
the film in order to directly target the Mainland market "accepts local 
gas", not expect that this is another forced into exile story.  Directors 
Pang Brothers (Oxide Pang Shun, Danny Pang Fat) hope to make a large 
scale fire disaster film.  They not only have to burn an entire building 
but also want many fire trucks and real firefighters to assist with the 
production on site.  "Do you think with such demands, is it possible in 
Hong Kong?"  Pang Chun's words ring loud and clear. - MAN KWOK CHUN

OUT OF INFERNO 3D In Release
	The Pang Brothers since working together on BANGKOK DANGEROUS to 
THE EYE (GEIN GWAI) are classified as geniuses.  Even though not all of 
their films are commercial and critical hits, sometimes their stories are 
rather flimsy.  Yet the more extreme subjects often lead to talk and have 
a group of loyal supporters.  Earlier they were interviewed in Tseung 
Kwan O to promote their new film OUT OF INFERNO 3D.  This pair of twin 
brothers both ordered hot honey and lemon drinks as soon as they sat 
down.  They drank as they talked about the reason behind making OUT.  
Pang Fat said, "Hong Kong has not made a disaster film about fire in a 
long time, in addition we have always been very interested.  So we 
started planning.  However shooting fire is rally hard, how would you 
know it won't turn into a real fire?   We have to be very careful with 
every step.  I really admire action director (Dion) Lam Dik On's 
attitude.  He was on top of everything because the slightest accident 
could lead to death.  We of course hope the result is good, but safety 
has to be first and foremost."

Szeto Kam Yuen's Final Work
	Pang Brothers' past work has always been high quality with screen 
resolution or cinematography, but the story is often the flaw.  The 
situation was the most severe with THE STORM WARRIRO (FUNG WON 2) several 
years ago.  However this time OUT put a lot of effort into the story.  
Not only did they deliberately ask Sylvia Chang (Cheung Ngai Ga) for 
help to add a new angle with the film's female characters, they also 
asked Szeto Kam Yuen to write.  Speaking of this gold label screen writer 
who passed away last October, Pang Fat said, "He really was the best!"  
Pang Shun admitted that they were more willful with their past films.  In 
recent years they woke up and realized that it was time to end their 
willfulness.  They wanted to make a solid film.  Pang Shun said with 
confidence, "We used to be willful, wanting to make what we want to.  We 
became directors just for that.  We can still tell a good story."
	The writer directly told the Pang Brothers that many viewers 
thought the film's Guangzhou background was harder to relate to.  Pang 
Shun first said, "Actually the center of the story is about human nature, 
the most realistic side in a fire.  Everyone has different mentality.  
These things are the same where in Guangzhou, Chaozhou or Africa."  
Although the explanation made sense, Pang Shun later told the real reason 
behind Guangzhou as the location.  He said, "We wanted to make a larger 
scale fire disaster film, we had to set fire and needed many fire trucks 
and real firefighters to assist with the production on site.  We even had 
to set up road blocks to put out the fire.  Do you think such demands are 
possible in Hong Kong?  Can we block off Nathan Road?  We couldn't 
possibly just use all special effects.  The location had to be real to 
be entertaining."

Real 3D Effects Stand Out
	The film has many large scale scenes, which on was the most 
difficult for them?  They both agreed, "It has to been the ending flush 
scene.  We shot that scene for several days, we took 45 minutes to fill 
a tank of water.  We rehearsed many times and had to shoot several times 
from different angles.  You can imagine how many 45 minutes were used 
there.  After every take no on dared to make a sound on the set as they 
waited for our OK."
	In recent years many films claimed to be 3D but the results have 
been rather disappointing.  They could even be described as "fake 3D".  
This time OUT also flew under the 3D banner.  Pang Shun said, "Actually 
3D film definitely is the general trend.  In Hong Kong many viewers still 
haven't been able to accept it yet.  After watching they feel dizzy 
because too many films have fake 3D.  They used 2D in production and 3D 
in post production.  The proximity would feel much worse.  Thus after 
watching viewers would feel discomfort and the effects don't stand out."

2. MING PAO DAILY, OCTOBER 6 2013, FILM WORDS
OUT OF INFERNO: LACKING REALISM AND REASON
	As for Hong Kong film, the Pang Brothers made disaster film OUT 
OF INFERNO (TOH CHOOK SUN TIN) stars Sean Lau Ching Wan, Louis Koo Tin 
Lok and Angelica Lee Sinjie.  Yet its location is not Hong Kong but 
Guangzhou.  The new Guangzhou structures in the film are very luxurious 
and modern, but a skyscrapper suddenly catches fire.  Because of a 
variety of facilities and human problems the fire becomes out of control, 
like old American film INFERNO it turns into an emergency escape and 
rescue.  OUT OF INFERNO leads with its opening box office and is 
temporarily ahead of GRAVITY, but actually it is several classes behind.  
Strictly speaking, its realism and reason are still lacking, but in the 
Chinese film industry it at least achieves a rarely seen disaster special 
effect scenes.  Some scenes are rather thrilling.  (Two and a half out of 
five stars)

COLD EYES: More Exaggerated Than The Hong Kong version
	The Cho Ui-Seok and Kim Byung-Seo directed Korean hit films COLD 
EYES is adapted from the 2007 Yau Nai Hoi directed, Johnnie To Kei Fung 
produced Hong Kong police film EYE IN THE SKY (GUNG JUNG).  With Sol 
Kyung-Gu and Han Hyo-Joo in Simon Yam Tat Wa and Kate Tsui Tsz Shan's 
"surveillance team" mentor and protegee roles, Jung Woo-Sung plays Tony 
Leung Ka Fai's gang leader role.  The story and characters are faithful 
to the original film, with added material and special package it shows a 
lot of effort.  Its performance is not bad, in the end Yam Tat Wa even 
makes a guest appearance.  yet the Korean version is obviously more 
exaggerated and unrealistic than the Hong Kong version.  (Two and a half 
out of five stars) - SHEK KEI

3. APPLE DAILY, OCTOBER 5 2013, SOMETHING TO SAY
LAU CHING WAN, PEOPLE'S BEST ACTOR

	Publicly recognized for his acting, Sean Lau Ching Wan has fame 
and fortune and is in cloud nine in people's eyes.  Yet actually his 
journey has been full of obstacles.  The luckiest is when he made the 
TVB series THE GREED OF MAN (DAI SI DOI) he met his wife Amy Kwok Oi 
Ming and became the business' model couple.  When Ching Wan started he 
has sunk before.  Nominated for the Hong Kong Film Award eight times, he 
finally won the Best Actor in 2007.  Today, Ching Wan is still toiling in 
the film industry only because he likes to act and hopes to perform even 
better.  Behind the Best Actor, he is just like an ordinary person.  He 
would go to the market, eat at street stalls and go to the movies to 
enjoy an ordinary life. - WAN MAN CHI
	Now 49 years old, Lau Ching Wan joined the TVB artist training 
class in 1983.  The next year with the TVB series POLICE CADET (SUN JAT 
SI HING)'s character Fit Lo he stood out, unfortunately later he was 
quiet for awhile.  His performance road was not considered easy.  He was 
of course lucky to met his wife Kwok Oi Ming when they made the TVB 
series THE GREED OF MAN in 1992.  The couple is always together.  In the 
90s, Ching Wan started to step foot in the film industry and made many 
memorable films like C'EST LA VIE MON CHERI (MONG BUT LIU), THE MAD 
DETECTIVE (SUN TAM) and OVERHEARD (SIT TING FUNG WON).  His acting has 
long received public recognition, unfortunately he had to wait for years 
before in 2007 with his eighth nomination he finally won his first Hong 
Kong Film Award Best Actor with the film MY NAME IS FAME (NGOR YIU SING 
MING).

Happiness Is the Most Important
	Rarely accepting publication interviews in recent years, Ching 
Wan earlier spoke to Apple Daily in Yuen Long.  Now in the Best Actor 
category, he has fame and fortune, his career has achievements, what is 
he still after?  Ching Wan said, "Now what I am after is hopefully better 
performance from myself.  I don't dare to say I have achieved greatly, I 
try to perform as much as I can.  I don't have much to do that I haven't 
done yet, often I see what the director wants to make.  Even if it is 
repeating personality or profession I don't mind, for example most 
recently  I took a mental patient role, the character will be different 
from THE MAD DETECTIVE's.  I want to give it a try."
	His TVB series POLICE CADET co-star Tony Leung Chiu Wai is 
already internationally renowned, with both achievements and wealth.  Wai 
Jai has said that he is not after anything except happiness.  Does Ching 
Wan have a similar mentality?  He said, "Happiness is the most important, 
a lot of things can't be impossibly be done perfectly.  Perhaps they can 
be done to my wishes.  The person's point of view is very important, being  
happier, more optimistic and you would make those around you more 
relaxed."  Ching Wan admitted that he has never thought about what kind 
of actor he would become, perhaps he would be internationally known.  He 
would just maintain his own attitude and do his job.  "Because you can't 
force opportunity, when you run into any character that you want to play 
then you play it."

Loves Street Stalls
	Among Best Actors, Ching wan is the top few People's Best Actor.  
Not arrogant at all, what is this Best Actor's private life like?  He 
laughed and said, "I am no different from an ordinary person, the only 
difference is I am afraid of crowds.  I don't like to go to crowded 
places.  I am no different from other people, I would go to the market, 
street stalls, I hope my job wouldn't affect my life too much.  However 
sometimes it's very hard, sometimes when I am eating at a street stall, 
I may sense that people are shooting you with their phones."  Is he 
already used to it?  He laughed and said, "I am not used to it, but it 
doesn't matter to me."
	After getting into the business, Ching Wan has made many movies.  
THE LONGEST NITE (UM FA), C'EST LA VIE MON CHERI and OVERHEARD are among 
his favorites.  Making one film after another, has he grown tired of the 
acting life?  Ching Wan said, "Sometimes I would be tired, but I really 
like this job.  Sometimes when I am tired I would rest a little and go 
on vacation first.  I like that the job makes me focused and energized.  
If I am not making a movie, I wouldn't pay attention to my diet."  In the 
film industry the actor who he has worked with the most is Louis Koo Tin 
Lok.  He has a chemistry with him when acting, but he is not like Goo Jai 
who enjoys watching movies at home.  "I like to go to the movies more, 
the cinema seems to make movies better.  I have tried to rent videos, 
everything is a little worse.  The experience of watching a movie in the 
cinema is very different."
	Ching Wan's friends Anthony Wong Chau Sun and Francis Ng Chun 
Yu have worked in different areas.  Wong Chau Sun would perform plays 
while Chun Yu has tried directing, but Ching Wan from the beginning has 
chosen acting.  He said, "I like to focus on what I do, directing takes a 
long time to prepare.  If I have a story that I want to make I would try 
it, but I don't want to make a movie because I want to direct.  Directing 
is a very complicated job, everyday you have to handle so many problems."  
Would he perform a play?  Ching Wan said that he has been approached but 
for now he has no such plan.  Ultimately he likes movies.

15 Year Marriage, Accommodation Is the Most Important
	Lau Ching Wan in 1992 made the TVB series THE GREED OF MAN, which 
not only created the first peak of his career but also introduced him to 
his wife Kwok Oi Ming.  They wed in 1998 and are the publicly recognized 
model couple in the circle.  Ching Wan said that every year he would set 
a time to go on vacation with his wife to relax himself and improve their 
relationship.  He said, "I really like to travel, you see many different 
things.  It's a huge hobby.  I don't ask for anything special in everyday 
life.  I just occasionally have a little wine, but I don't study it."

No Intention To Have Children
	Ching Wan and his wife have been married for 15 years and are as 
loving as ever.  What secret do they have?  Ching Wan humbly said, "We 
are not considered the role model, the most important to accommodate 
each other.  Marriage is very interesting, ten years ago she was very 
different from now.  I seem to keep meeting a new her.  Sometimes we 
would argue, our views would be different but once we express them we are 
OK!  A couple sometimes would have minor arguments, but as soon as we run 
into something major we would be very united."
	Have you thought about having children?  Ching Wan said, "I 
haven't thought about it really, I don't particularly want children.  
Actually life now is pretty good, every choice has its advantage and its 
price, now is OK!"  Seemingly Ching Wan enjoyed his world of two with 
his wife very much.

  So Po-Wing considers himself being underappreciated. He works at “Get

[ THE FILM CATALOGUE ]
  The young Dee Renjie arrives in the Imperial Capital, intent to become
  an officer of the law. Empress Wu, who is at the start of her reign, has
  sent the fiery-haired Detective Yuchi to investigate a sea monster that
  stalks the city at night. By chance, both Dee and Yuchi fight off the
  creature when it attacks a ceremonial procession carrying the beautiful
  courtesan Yin to be sacrificed at a temple to appease the Gods.
  Suspicious of the stranger, Yuchi has Dee imprisoned. Dee escapes with
  the help of visiting doctor Shatuo and together they discover that the
  upper reaches of society, including the Emperor himself, are addicted to
  a poisonous tea produced by Yuan's famous teahouse. Yuan, who was
  romantically attached to Yin, has been missing for months. Dee shadows
  the courtesan, who is under Yuchun's protection, until the sea monster
  reappears. Just as the two men are about to kill it, Yin reveals that
  the monster is her lover, Yuan. Yuan has been poisoned by a foreign
  Prince whose kingdom was overthrown by the Emperor. As the Prince's army
  readies itself on a nearby island to attack the capital, a real sea
  dragon rises from the deep.

	In the last film he lived to see released, director Park Cheol 
Soo explores human obsessive desire for sex. Based on a short novel of 
the same name, B.E.D. is told through the eyes of the three main 
characters, whose joy, passion, despair and death overflow into one bed. 
The man B. has an affair with a bored married woman E., who eventually 
dumps him. In order to get over E., B. marries D., a divorcee with a 
small daughter, but still keeps the bed in which he made love with E. His 
obsession with E. never goes away, as he attempts to get her back.
