* (2013/09/11) The currently 42 year old TVB housewife killer Moses Chan 
Ho after being "invisible" in the film industry for almost 12 years 
recently struck again with the film DIM DUI DIM (POINT TO POINT).  His 
salary even went from less than HK$50,000 when he started to 8 times that
amount!  Yesterday the temperature reached 31 degrees Celsius, but Chan 
Ho still worked in winter clothing and a scarf.
	Since joining the television industry in 2000, Chan Ho 
immediately became a top TVB actor and a housewife killer.  Actually 
Chan Ho in 1994 started his career with his first film TWENTYSOMETHING 
(MAN 9 JIU 5) and made many films in the next ten years.  His last film 
was DUMMY MOMMY, WITHOUT A BABY (YUK NUI TIM TING) in 2001.  After 12 
years out of the film industry, Chan Ho yesterday worked with veteran 
actress Susan Shaw Yam Yam on their new film DIM DUI DIM in Causeway Bay.  
They appeared in winter clothing under high temperature and exploded from 
the heat.  As his fame rose, Chan Ho's salary also jumped 8 folds from 
less than HK$50,000 when he started to around HK$400,000 now.  Since Chan 
Ho has not made a film in years, the price tag was considered decently.
	New director Wong Ho Yin was at the helm for DIM, which would be 
a nostalgic drama.  In it Chan Ho's aunt passed away from the 1972 
Daimaru department store gas explosion.  Currently a language school 
principle, Shaw Yam Yam was a good friend of his aunt.  She was spared 
because Chan Ho's aunt substituted for her class.  Chan Ho's scarf loved 
to knit scarves in life and actually gave the same style orange scarves 
to Chan Ho and Shaw Yam Yam.  When they ran into each other on the 
streets they discovered this secret that has been hidden for many years.
	The story was actually based on director Wong Ho Yin's personal 
experience.  He wanted to make a movie in memory of his late aunt.  Wong 
Ho Yin's story touched Chan Ho enough to make it.  Actually in recent 
years TVB has made Lunar New Year films every year and would feature its 
stars, yet Chan Ho was never tempted.  Reportedly Wong Ho Yin spent 
almost 8 months in discussion before successfully motivating Chan Ho to 
return to the big screen.  Chan Ho whose film salary has risen to around 
400,000 was willing to cut it in half to support th film.  He also 
would receive a bonus from the film company.
	Yesterday the temperature reached 31 degrees Celsius and sunny.  
Chan Ho and Shaw Yam Yam wore sweaters for the story.  Both wore orange 
scarves.  Around 10AM, they first worked on a slope in Chai Wan.  Chan Ho 
ran into Shaw Yam Yam who had the same style scarf.  They stared at each 
other across the street and looked up and down, exchanged looks a few 
times and they were already drenched in sweat.  After lunch, the team 
moved to Causeway Bay for a location shoot.  First Shaw Yam Yam stood 
at Fashion Walk (Daimaru department store's former address) and was deep 
in thoughts.  She put memorial white flowers on the floor.  Chan Ho saw 
Shaw Yam Yam from across the street and curiously chased her into a 
nearby MTR station.
	Although Chan Ho was already married, his charm was still 
unstoppable.  Housewife killer's rare appearance in Causeway Bay 
attracted several hundred people.  The location was so crowded that the 
crowd reached the shopping center across the street.  Fans of all ages 
including tourists, citizens and students raised their phones to take 
photos of Chan Ho.  A female fan screamed, "Chan Ho is very handsome!"  
Despite the urging of the crew and Chan Ho begging with his eyes they 
could not be stopped.  In addition, a cargo van and the film company 
vehicle fought over a parking space.  Someone went to argue with the 
director, finally the film company paid to settle the money.  When he 
was not in a scene, Chan Ho returned to the vehicle six or seven times to 
enjoy the air conditioning and violated the car idling law.  Around 3PM, 
Shaw Yam Yam finished up.  After a hour, Chan Ho and the team left as 
well.
	Shaw Yam Yam said, "Today the location was very hot, all four 
pieces of my clothing were soaked.  Chan Ho's too.  He and I had a very 
pleasant collaboration.  He was polite and his voice sounded great."  
Shaw Yam Yam also praised the housewife killer's acting.  "In the story 
his aunt died in my place, it's no wonder as soon as he shed tears I 
would follow.  Only good acting like his would be able to create such a 
touching spark."

* (2013/09/11) Working on the voice work for his new film NEW POLICE 
STORY 2013 (SUN GAING CHAT GOO SI 2013), Jackie Chan spoke to the 
Mainland media and said that he will work with Zhang Yimou on a new film 
of an unexpected style.  Jackie Chan said, "Zhang Yimou and I earlier 
talked about a script.  We never expected that when we talked again we 
got an idea and he and I clicked immediately."  Jackie Chan even said that 
this film will definitely be quite a surprise to everyone as they would 
not expect why Jackie Chan and Zhang Yimou would make such a movie.

* (2013/09/11) The Teddy Chan Tak Sum directed, Charlie Yeung Choi Nei, 
Donnie Yen Chi Tan, Wang Baoqiang and others starred Emperor film YUT GOR 
YUN DIK MO LUM yesterday morning shot a car crash scene in the Salisbury 
Road underpass.  Several dozen workers arrived early to prepare and 
closed down the Tsim Sha Tsui bound lanes to coordinate with the shoot.  A 
suspected luxury super sports car was rammed into the air at the underpass 
entrance and scattered all over the floor.
	Lead actor Yen Chi Tan did not appear, only Yeung Choi Ni who 
was in uniform in the company of Deep Ng Ho Hong, Emperor Motion 
Picture new comer Jessica Wong Ka Wai and others on the investigation 
scene.  Around midnight, Yeung Choi Nei waited to take her mark and 
had a friendly chat with workers.  When she took her mark Yeung Choi Nei 
kept traversing the scene according to the director's request.  In the 
matter of minutes she was also covered in sweat.
	Director Andrew Lau Wai Keung also appeared and switched roles 
on this night as a guest star.  He was relaxed and often chatted with the 
cast and the crew.  Reportedly, in order to salute the action film 
colleagues and elders, aside from Lau Wai Keung Teddy Chan Tak Sum would 
invite 70s and 80s kung fu film elder actors to guest star.  The film 
also received assistance from many film industry "masters" like Stanley 
Tong Kwai Lai, Stephen Tung Wai, Dion Lam Dik On and Xiong Xinxin during 
its shoot.

* (2013/09/11) International film star Zhang Ziyi, Wang Leehom, Ada Choi 
Siu Fun, Ryan Zheng Kai, Terri Kwan Wing, Bona film group chair Yu Dong 
and others yesterday attended the film MY LUCKY STAR's Beijing premiere.  
Lead actress and producer Ziyi who was rumored to have broken up with Sa 
Beining recently seemed completely unaffected.
	The host asked Wang Leehom why he would treat his rumored 
girlfriend A-Mei Chang better than Zhang Ziyi, Wang Leehom awkwardly 
said, "Earlier I really was too busy."  Unexpectedly Ziyi publicly 
"supported Hom" and covered his back.  "Leehom and A-Mei only waited for 
one night, he and I had (to wait) countless days and nights."  Zhang 
Ziyi's quick wit surprised the audience.  Jackie Chan sent a video and 
praised Wang Leehom's superb agility.  He stated that he would name me 
"the second Jackie Chan".
	As the press conference neared its end, the actors cut the cake 
together.  Ziyi first put the cream from the cake on Wang Leehom's nose.  
Later she did not mind putting the cream into her mouth to taste.  Their 
level of intimacy left many stunned.
	Max Zhang Jun who was known for loving his wife despite his eye 
injury supported his wife's new film.  He appeared in sunglasses but Choi 
Siu Fun revealed that her husband had another goal.  "He came for Ziyi, 
not for me.  He and Ziyi have been friends for years."  Later she did not 
forget to praise her husband.  "Leehom is a god, my hubby is a god too."

* (2013/09/11) Two modern goddesses Cherie Chung Chor Hung and Maggie 
Cheung Man Yuk last night attended a Dior event, taking the lead and the 
finale respectively.  Hung Goo's girl like smile to the media left them 
weak at the knees.  She even said that she and Cheung Man Yuk were never 
at odds.  Cheung Man Yuk made a rare stop to speak to the Hong Kong media 
and even revealed that her love life has been beautiful.
	Years ago Hung Goo and Cheung Man Yuk were rumored to be at odds.  
Yesterday they appeared at the same event, unfortunately they appeared 
first and last and the two great goddesses were not photographed 
together.  Hung Goo said that the last time she saw Cheung Man Yuk was 
several months ago.  Last night they would be able to catch up again.  
She said, "We used to mess around in the kitchen too, but now I rarely 
cook."  Speaking of their dispute rumor, Hung Goo said, "We have never 
had any grudge, only the media reported a dispute.  We stayed in touch 
over the phone and email.  Would we talk about love lives?  I don't have 
any!  I am very dull!  Only boyfriend 1, 2, 3 in the reports."  Hung Goo 
joked that reporters were too nosy, why did they not ask questions about 
her.  Would she consider dating a foreigner?  Hung Goo said, "I never 
thought about the dating issue, no one is different.  It is about fate.   
I have no nationality differentiation, as long as I like him."  Hung Goo 
earlier was caught without make up on the streets, she sighed and said, 
"The picture was so gross!  No big deal, next time I go out I will bring 
a reflector board to the streets.  When I find out someone is taking a 
photo in secret I will bring it out for additional lighting."
	Cheung Man Yuk showed her presence at the venue and stopped for 
interviews.  "At first I worried that reporters would be very mean to me, 
actually everyone has treated me very gently."  Cheung Man Yuk normally 
would return to Hong Kong to see her family and handle private matters.  
She and Hung Goo would occasionally meet.  Cheung Man Yuk said that in 
recent years she rarely made movies.  Even Chow Yun Fat has returned to 
make Hong Kong film FROM VEGAS TO MACAU (DOH SING FUNG WON).  She said, 
"Fat Gor's movie production has nothing to do with me!  I too support 
Hong Kong film, but in a different way."  She lately has fallen for film 
editing and felt that there is room for development.  She even asked 
everyone to give her a chance to edit films, even family or vacation 
videos.  Did she want to retreat behind the scene?  Cheung Man Yuk said, 
"The passion that I have for film editing now is the same feeling that I 
had for acting.  I am finding the enthusiasm of the past."  September 20 
will be Cheung Man Yuk's 49th birthday.  She said that she did not know 
if anyone would ask her to dinner.  Perhaps she will take a vacation in 
Southeast Asia.
	Speaking of her love life, Cheung Man Yuk said, "Not much to talk 
about!  The most beautiful is that I am single and I have dates.  I don't 
dare to say if they are suitors.  Others are always more in a hurry about 
these questions than me."  Would Hong Kong men have a chance?  Cheung Man 
Yuk joked, "Let me take a look first!"

* (2013/09/11) Julian Cheung Chi Lam yesterday announced at the same 
time his official contract signing with China 3D Digital Entertainment 
and his contract renewal with Star Entertainment.  He will work in music, 
film and television.  To coordinate with the rising popularity of his 
"Cool Demon" character, the company spent six figures on a helicopter 
ride for luck for Chi Lam and confirmed the film version of TRIUMPH IN 
THE SKIES (CHUNG SEUNG WON SIU) next year.  The company's stock price 
rose almost 1.5 times.
	Chi Lam yesterday held the contract signing press conference on 
the runway of the old Kai Tak Airport, officially signing with Stephen 
Shiu Jr's China 3D Digital Entertainment and renewing his Star 
Entertainment contract.  Chi Lam in a tuxedo arrived in a luxury car 
and received a welcome from a group of sexy flight attendants.  Bosses 
Stephen Shiu Jr. Neway boss Sit Chai Kit, Paco Wong, Patrick Kong (Yip 
Lim Sum), Chow Yiu Fai, advertisers and various major media 
representatives came to congratulate him.  Chi Lam after the official 
contract signing even rode the helicopter to the air, as his version of 
AGE LIKE SONG (SHUI YUET YU GOR) played.
	Chilam refused to revealed the contract amount.  He said, "I 
hope in the next few yars I can work hard and show some performance.  I 
signed for many years and hope to keep signing.  The contract signing 
amount of course is a commercial secret. (The two companies were rumored 
to give 8 figures each?)  That great?  However today the most fun is the 
lucky lap in the air.  The sunny sky is just like my mood."  The Chilam 
starred TRIUMPH 2 was not only a rating hit but also brought China 3D 
Digital (8078)'s stock price to a 1.5 time increase.  It reached HK$0.066 
and HK$0.061 at closing, a rise of 1.34 times.
	As for the online parody of TRIUMPH 2's ending that turned Chilam 
into an earth protecting hero, he smiled and said that he took notice, 
praised the online creativity and forwarded the picture to his son Mo 
Tung.  TVB was rumored to be working with Stephen Shiu Jr. on the TRIUMPH 
film adaptation, Chilam admitted, "Actually I will work in film, 
television and concert, so I have to stay in my best shape for even more 
jobs.  I have heard about the TRIUMPH film adaptation, the soonest it 
will start production will be next year.  I am looking forward to it, but 
one person can't make a movie.  The good performance of the series is 
already a great encouragement."  He said that a collaboration between TVB 
and his boss would be the best situation, but as an actor he could not 
participate in casting.  The decision will be up to the company.
	Chilam revealed that after TRIUMPH he discovered his love for 
television and considered returning to the Mainland to make a series for 
real money.  His concert is planned for August next year.  He said, "I 
hope this time at the Hong Kong Coliseum can challenge my records the 
last two times.  For the new record I will first remake (Eason) Chan Yik 
Shun's AGE LIKE SONG.  It's the company's idea.  The rest of the songs 
will be remakes of my favorite songs as a salute."  Has his 
misunderstanding with Star Entertainment been resolved?  Chilam said, 
"We never had any misunderstanding, just some emotional misunderstanding.  
Since it's in the past it doesn't need to be mentioned again."
	China 3D Digital Entertainment boss Stephen Shiu Jr. admitted 
that he signed Chi Lam for eight figures but denied the rumored HK$50 
million.  He admitted that he and Chi Lam talked about working together 
for over a year.  Since his joining his work has been nonstop.  The jobs 
that have been scheduled until the end of October will be able to offset 
the cost of the contract signing.  Stephen Shiu Jr. revealed that Chi Lam 
at the end of the year will work on a Mainland television series.  Next 
year Chi Lam will make two movies, a romance that will start production in 
January and the TRIUMPH IN THE SKIES (CHUNG SEUNG WON SIU) film 
adaptation in April.  Their estimated investment will be respectively 
20 million and 60 million.  Stephen Shiu Jr. said, "They may not be all 
individual investments.  Some will be made with other companies.  TRIUMPH 
still awaits discussions on how to share the cost with TVB and scheduling 
the actors like (Francis) Ng Chun Yu."  Seemingly "Captain Tong" and "Cool 
Demon" will battle again.
	Stephen Shiu Jr. also revealed that aside from making Hong Kong 
films like DUE WEST THAILAND this year, the company will also focus on 
Mainland mainstream film development.  It has already opened cinemas in 
cities like Xiamen and Chongqing and developed the film industry in all 
aspects.

* (2013/09/11) Dior Cheng Yi Kin, Jordan Chan Siu Chun, Michael Tse Tin 
Wa, Chin Kar Lok and Jerry Lamb Hiu Fung yesterday worked the music 
video for their concert theme song.  They threw soft drink cans at each 
others.  When Chin Kar Lok nailed Tse Tin Wa in the head, Siu Chun took 
the blame.
	Siu Chun was ready to explode during the interview.  Someone was 
upset that Tse Tin Wa had a special segment in the concert, which made 
all their wives unable to go to the Hong Kong Coliseum.  Siu Chun said, 
"I heard that they will get a room to sit in then, maybe they will play 
mahjong while watching the show.  Ultimately they can't appear at the Hong 
Kong Coliseum.  Only Tse Tin Wa's segment has female guests, which our 
old ladies unable to attend."  Tse Tin Wa explained that everyone came up 
with a good idea and finally decided not to let any of their wives watch 
the show in person.  Siu Chun joked, "We have never said that they could 
come and watch the show.  I don't have any tickets for them either."
	Ekin said that Chin Kar Lok's wife Angela Tong Ying Ying had 
"postnatal hyperactivity disorder", which they were afraid would affect 
everyone's performance and disturb their emotions.  Thus they made this 
decision. Chin Kar Lok pointed out that only Tse Tin Wa would perform with 
a female guest.  Did all their wives know about this?  Ekin said, "We only 
made the decision today, later everyone will report it on their own."  
Has any female guest been confirmed?  Ekin said, "How can we not invite 
any?  Even Uncle Lun said that he wanted to be a guest.  Sorry, I am 
referring to the Principle (Alan Tam Wing Lun)."

* (2013/09/11) Juno Mak Chun Lung recently flew to Toronto for the film 
festival to promote his directing debut RIGOR MORTIS (GEUNG SI).  At the 
Midnight Madness party, Juno received the film festival program director 
Colin Geddes praised Juno's film as very exciting.  "The vampire subject 
film has already become extinct in the past 10 years, to be able to remove 
the comedy element and add in horror is pleasant surprise for me."
	Juno thanked Colin for the compliment, which gave him a shot of 
confidence.  He will fly to the U.S. for a fantasy film festival next 
week and spread Hong Kong film to more people.

* (2013/09/11) The film THE WAY WE DANCE (KONG MO PAI) has been in 
release for a month and received rave reviews.  Its box office steadily 
rose.  With support from Chow Yun Fat, Aaron Kwok Fu Sing, Gigi Leung 
Wing Kei and others, the film finally broke HK$10 million; the cast, the 
director and the producer were all very excited.  The director said that 
not only the film broke 10 million, he was the happiest that Polytechnic 
Institute convenience store open space ban was finally lifted and dancers 
would be able to dance freely.
	This film only cost 5.3 million, a small budget production.  
Fellow film rookies and leads Cherry Ngan Cheuk Ling and BabyJohn Choi 
Hong Yik felt incredible that a small budget production was able to have 
such a performance.  Cherry said, "When I found out the news, I was in 
class.  Still in school, I still can't believe that I participated in such 
a successful film.  It was like a miracle.  I will continue to study 
hard and try to perform even more different films in the future."  
BabyJohn admitted that the 10 million box office truly did not come by 
easily.  "I thank every one of the viewers, at every audience 
appreciation their passion moved me.  I hope everyone will keep this 
fire ignited and head for their own dreams."

* (2013/09/10) Martial art film star Gordon Liu (Lau Ka Fai) sued his 
former assistant in pursuit of the 1.38 million RMB and HK$ 140,000 saving 
account that were in her care.  Yesterday both sides agreed to release 
over 250,000 RMB to Lau and stated that they would attempt mediation.  
However Lau Ka Fai's guardian Fan Yik Man said that the case might drag 
on longer than half a year and she might have to raise medical funding for 
Lau Ka Fai.
	Plaintiff Eva Fung has already turned over the alleged sum to the 
court according to the court order.  Lau Ka Fai's legal representative 
said that neither party argued against the 370,000 yuan RMB belonged to 
Lau Ka Fai.  Earlier HK$150,000 were released and he requested for the 
remaining 252,000 yuan RMB to be released.  The judge approved.  The 
lawyer continued that both parties have filed for mediation attempt, but 
the process required time.  He requested the court to reserve two days 
for trial in the future half a year.  Fung agreed to release the sum and 
to mediation, but stated that 670,000 yuan RMB of the amount in question 
were Fung's saving and commission.  She also gave Lau Ka Fai HK$446,000 
in advance and stated that she would file a counter suit in pursuit.
	Fan Yik Man said that the HK$150,000 released last night were 
spent on Lau Ka Fai's hospitalization and treatments.  Most were spent.  
If the case had to be dragged on for half a year, the released amount 
might be spent.  She tried to come up with ideas to reduce treatment 
cost.  She might have to raise money to cover the medical cost.  Fan Yik 
Man said that Lau Ka Fai's health has improved, but whenever the lawsuit 
was mentioned he would be upset.  She said, "His veins are popping, his 
hands are shaky like he wants to say a lot."

* (2013/09/10) Recently Mainland star and AMERICAN DREAMS IN CHINA 
producer Tian Pujun wrote that Peter Chan Ho Sun was her boyfriend for 
years, said that she and Chan Ho Sun broke up three times and he was the 
one who took the initiative to get back together.  
	Sandra Ng Kwan Yu has not responded until last night.  She not 
only posted her Lunar New Year film costume but also left a humorous 
message as usual.  "I don't care about boyfriend or turtle honey, since I 
know his heart (and finances) belongs to me!  Hahaha!  BTW isn't the new 
costume cute?"

* (2013/09/09) Aaron Kwok Fu Sing two nights ago watched the film THE WAY 
WE DANCE (KONG MO PAI).  Director Adam Wong Sau Ping along with actors 
Cherry Ngan Cheuk Ling and Babyjohn Choi Hong Yik attended an audience 
appreciation event.  With his dancer background, Sing Sing said that the 
film was very moving.  He not only gave the actors a standing ovation 
but also was choked up from the sentiments.  He also played the film's 
"Chut Lung" on the spot and practiced Tai Chi.
	Speaking of Wong Sau Ping skipping to THE WAY WE DANCE 3, will 
Sing Sing help up and guest star?  He said, "I have always encouraged new 
directors, very supportive and cooperative with them.  I hope that they 
would fulfill their dreams."  Sing Sing immediately recommended himself 
to Wong Sau Ping, "Give me a chance to guest star in the third film, I 
will drag Fat Gor (Chow Yun Fat) and guest star together!"  "Chut Leung" 
Choi Hong Yik said that Wai Ying Hung wanted to play his sister Ah Luk, 
Sing Sing joked, "I will play Chut Leung's big brother 'Brother Luk'."
	Sing Sing hoped to fulfill his director dream, now he is learning 
to direct and write screenplays.  "The first film's screenplay outline 
already had a first draft.  It will be a drama and not about dancing."  
Choi Hong Yik immediately raised his hand and recommended himself for the 
performance.  Sing Sing said that it would depend on the script.  If 
suitable h would approach THE WAY WE DANCE's actors to perform.

* (2013/09/09) George Lam and Dr. Lam Kin Fai two nights ago organized a 
concert to raise fun for the Otic Foundation.  Miriam Yeung Chin Wa and 
special guest Chen Jiajia performed.  Chin Wa appeared in a low cut black 
evening gown and performed her idol Danny Chan Pak Keung's son on his 
55th birthday.  Chan Pak Keung's sister presented flowers in support.
	Chin Wa recently has been busy in Guangzhou with her film DON'T 
GO BREAKING MY HEART 2 (DAN SUN NAM NUI 2).  With Johnnie To Kei Fung at 
the Toronto Film Festival, she had a chance to return to Hong Kong for 
Pang Ho Cheung's MANJUSAWA.  "I really want to take the Mid Autumn 
Festival off, but I am very afraid that I would have to work.  DON'T had 
many Hong Kong location scenes to shoot.  Most were with Louis Koo Tin 
Lok and Vic Chou Man Yu.  After making these two films I will definitely 
take a month or more off and do what Mommy should do.  I want to learn 
children nutrition and be with children."
	DaDa Chan Jing was rumored to have returned to Hong KOng.  Would 
she work on MAN?  Chin Wa said that she did not know.  "All my scenes 
will be with (Eric) Tsang Chi Wai.  At most I would see (Gigi) Leung Wing 
Kei for a day."

* (2013/09/08) The 25 year old Isabella Leong Lok Si returned to show 
business and immediately was linked in rumors, supposedly she and Sylvia 
Chang (Cheung Ngai Ga)'s 22 year old son Oscar Wong Ling Chun have 
already been in a relationship for a year.  Her friend Angelica Lee 
Sinjie played matchmaker for them and Cheung Ngai Ga in turn became Leong 
Lok Si's manager.
	Lee Sinjie yesterday awkwardly said that she was not their 
matchmaker and even claimed that she knew nothing.  Cheung Ngai Ga 
through her company denied the rumor.  Leong's god father Anthony Wong 
Chau Sun said that he never asked Leong Lok Si about her love life and

yesterday held a promotion.  Louis Koo Tin Lok and Sandra Ng Kwan Yu are 
confidants.  Speaking of Tian Pujun revealing herself to be Peter Chan Ho 
Sun's "girlfriend", he said that as an outsiders he dared not comment too 
much.  "I often have dinners with Kwan Yu and Chan Ho Sun, sometimes I

* (2013/09/08) Joey Wang Cho Yin earlier returned to Hong Kong and last 
month the media caught her on camera.  Earlier she filed suit with the 
superior court against Next Media and its publications for defamation.  
Wang Cho Yin stated in the suit that Next Media's Apple Daily, Face and 
Next Magazine on August 23 to 29 in print and online published articles 
that defamed Wang Cho Yin, causing damage to her reputation and career.  
She asked the court to issue an injunction against Next Media and the 
aforementioned publications from further defamation articles online and 
in print and demanded compensation from them.
	Wang Cho Yin has already returned to Canada.  Lately no one 
online was able to find any trace of her.  At the time in order to prove 
that her face did not change, had a friend take photos of her and post 
them online.  However after returning to Canada she remained quiet, thus 
her intention for a comeback remained unknown.

* (2013/09/08) Michelle Yeoh (Yeung Chi King) two days ago judged a short 
film screenplay creative contest in Malaysia.  Earlier the sequel to 
CROUCHING TIGER HIDDEN DRAGON (NGOR FU CHONG LUNG) was announced.  She 
and Zhang Ziyi will participate.  The lead actor will be Donnie Yen Chi 
Tan and the director will be Yuen Woo Ping.  Yeung Chi King revealed that 
the production will begin next year, some of the film will shoot in 
Malaysia.
	Speaking of the director change, did she feel different?  Yeung 
Chi King joked, "Just ask about the contest, I am the judge.  I want the 
scripts to have focus and passion, so I can tell whether the work is 
good just from reading the script."

* (2013/09/08) Nick Cheung Ka Fai two nights ago with Dominic Lam Ka Wa 
and Lam Chi Bok and other Royal Hong Kong Police Cadet School alumni 
attended the 40th anniversary of the school.  They sang the school song 
and marched then saluted.  Ka Fai was busy with a film, his hair had 
extensions and his clothes were wrinkled.  He said that because of work he 
did not properly prepare, but he insisted on wearing the school tie.  He 
said, "I was a graduate of the 17th year.  At the time everyday I had to 
wear this tie to school.  Now looking back I have a lot of memories.  
Back then when I just show business after the police, I ran into a lot of 
setbacks in the first few years.  I would think of the Police Cadet 
training, that determination and courage made me brave enough to face 
the setbacks."
	As for the film UNBEATABLE (GIK JIN)'s box office success, a 
sequel has been rumored.  Ka Fai said, "(Dante) Lam Chiu Yin doesn't have 
an idea yet, even when it is made it may not be fighting again.  I would 
definitely go along with my life, but the soonest I believe it will start 
production will be next year.  (Will you train again?)  Leave it for 
(Eddie) Peng Yu-Yen, I won't be courteous.  This time is the limit of my

* (2013/09/08) Karena Ng Chin Yu two nights ago with boss Raymond Wong 
Pak Ming attended the film THE STOLEN YEARS' Hong Kong premiere.  Also on 
hand were Wylie Chiu Shek Chi and Cherry Ngan Cheuk Ling.  Wong Pak Ming 
and Ng Chin Yu recently have been busy with their Lunar New Year film.  
Did Chin Yu BB mind working with her boyfriend?  She denied that and 
said that she would not mind if the story required it.  Wong Pak Ming 
again revealed that in the end of October release BABY BLUES (NGAI YING) 
Lam Fung and Chin Yu BB will have scenes together.
	The film THE WAY WE DANCE (KONG MO PAI) was a critical and 
commercial hit.  Lead actress Ngan Cheuk Ling had a chance at the Hong 
Kong Film Award Best Actress.  Ngan Cheuk Ling felt that it would be 
impossible because her acting was still very immature, had a lot of 
flaws and still had a lot of room for improvement.  As for reports that 
her boyfriend was a minor star and a slacker, Ngan Cheuk Ling said that 
she saw the report but she did not want to publicly discuss her love 
life.  Although lately she had a lot of negative news, she was not

Fung gathered at the Venetian Macao for the Wong Jing new film FROM 
VEGAS TO MACAU (DOH SING FUN WON) location shoot.  Unfortunately the 
weather refused to cooperate with a swimming pool scene as it was 
postponed again and again.  Finally it was not completed.  Ting Fung 
earlier after completing an all night shoot already returned to Hong 
Kong.
	Two days ago the team shot Fat Gor's solo dramatic scene.  A 
troubled look for a film industry superstar of course had no bad take.  
During the period, Ah Jat who was not in the scene put on a tank top and 
a pair of swimming trunks.  Ah Jat said, "I just went swimming, I 
originally asked Ting Fung to stay.  He's the one who wanted to leave. 
(He has family matter to attend to?)  Don't ask me, I don't know."
	Wong Jing revealed that if the pool scene was unable to be 
completed, they would likely return for additional shoots or shoot at a 
Hong Kong pool.  He even pointed out that the hotel provided completely 
sponsorship this time.  Would he take this chance to announce his 
return to the Hong Kong film industry?  Wong Jing said, "No, because Fat 
Gor's price tag is astronomical only the Mainland can cover it.  Since 
we have worked together many times, we just finished working on THE LAST 
TYCOON (DAI SEUNG HOI) a year ago and had chemistry.  We even had an 
advantage with him!  Whatever location we needed in Hong Kong, as long as 
we used his name it would be approved.  We saved a lot on that, well 
worth the high salary.  Fat Gor even has a market in the West!  (Ting 
Fung recently has family trouble, did he take time off?)  No, he is very

* (2013/09/07) The normally sharp tongued and merciless Jacqueline Chong 
Si Man privately was "Miss Congeniality".  She had a part in the new film 
A SECRET BETWEEN US (DAI YUT CHI BUT SI NEI).  The leads were new comers 
and elders had to stand aside.  However she still kept an eye out for 
the two new comers as an attentive big sister.
	The film's lead actress was Angel Chiang Ka Man and lead actor 
was Edward Ma Chi Wai, and her character was quite a jerk.  When Chong Si 
Man saw that they were new comers on the set, during the shoot her own 
pressure was having to yell at them all the time in the film and treat 
them very badly.  Earlier sh had to mentally prepare them.  In one or two 
scenes she had to yell at them, she had to tell them in advance the she 
would be very loud and communicated to them that she might suddenly slap 
the table to keep them from getting scared suddenly.  Luckily Chiang Ka 
Man had television series experience.  She did not have to play a big 
sister character and they could take care of themselves.  Instead the 
crew was always making fun of me because I was very different from how I 
was normally.
	Typecast as the "little bitch", Chong Si Man did not have an easy 
time with riding her image.  This time in her new film she had to play a 
pregnant madame without any make up, which was quite a big acting 
challenge for her.
	In the film world, she did not have much limitation.  Without any 
nudity she could accept the character.  So far in her career she truly 
played too many "little bitches".  This time was a rare occasion that she 
did not have to be sexy and the character was particularly special, she 
played a madame and had to be very sloppy.  The director did not allow 
her to put on any make up.  She even got a "gross blond" dye job and none 
of her clothes was pretty.  Playing pregnant and without make up for the 
first time, she had quite a huge attempt this time.  Because she trusted 
director Patrick Kong (Yip Lim Sum) and they have worked together many 
time, she trusted his arrangement.  Instead the biggest difficult was how 
to play pregnant.  She talked and walked very fast, during the shoot 
people always joked that she wanted to lose the child.  Thus she had to 
adjust herself and walk slower.
	As a daughter of a Malaysian Datuk, Chong Si Man was still all 
about honor.  Even because the previous job was postponed, she would 
still keep her promise and was never late.  At the location air 
conditioner was blowing like mad, she still insisted on baring her waist.  
She had no arrogance of a rich kid at all.

* (2013/09/07) The film SPECIAL ID (DUT SHU SUN FUN) yesterday held a 
Beijing press conference.  Leads Donnie Yen Chi Tan, Jing Tian, Andy Tien 
(On Chi Kit), Zhang Hanyu and theme song performer Yang Kun appeared.  
Yang Kun opened the event with the theme song I NEVER IMAGINE YOU TO BE 
SO STRONG.  In the music video Yen Chi Tan's helplessness from being 
tangled between both sides of the law was captured.  Chi Tan was moved 
and admitted that he was not as strong as everyone imagined.  Under the 
tough guy exterior was actually an ordinary person.  "Every time when I 
feel tired and want to take time off, my wife Cissy Wang is my greatest 
pillar and motivation.  We filmmakers spent most of our time on our work, 
spending all day outside we can very easily neglect family around us.  
Yet every time I return home she would give me a lot of support.  She can 
stay by my side, I am very touched every second of every moment."
	After 6 years he again worked on a modern action film as an 
actor, a director and a producer.  Chi Tan in order to maintain the film's 
action quality he even designed many different styles for each actor.  He 
not only merged many Chinese and foreign martial art action elements but 
also never repeating the style in each fight scene.  When the host 
praised him as a real man, he humbly said, "I only want to be a 
responsible man."  Speaking of the real man in his heart, he said that he 
was actually Szeto Kam Yuen who passed away from illness last year.  Even 
when he had cancer he still could not help but help Chi Tan.  Chi Tan was

Man recently worked on DON'T GO BREAKING MY HEART 2 (DAN SUN NAM NUI 2) 
in Guangzhou.  Yesterday Goo Jai worked on a building wall climbing 
scene and attracted many onlookers who secretly took photos and posted 
them online.  Goo Jai was climbing outside the window and had a painful 
look on his face.  Employees on the other side of the window were very 
happy, kept taking photos and said, "Koo Tin Lok is shooting outside the 
company's window.  The entire company is boiling, in the morning no one 
could work."

* (2013/09/07) Japanese animation master Hayao Miyazaki yesterday 
afternoon held his retirement press conference in Tokyo.  Because he 
stated that he would not respond any further about his retirement, over 
600 reporters from around the world crowded into the venue.  Hayao 
Miyazaki at the opening joked that he has said that he would retire many 
times, but this time he was absolutely serious.  He decided to retire 
because of the word "old".  At age 72 he actually spent 5 years to make 
his new film THE WIND RISES, physically his condition was not as it was 
before.  Thus he decided to completely retire from the Studio Ghibli and 
hoped to spent time more on the Ghibli Museum.
	Miyazaki said that he did not want to hold a press conference to 
announce his retirement, but he felt that he should properly explain the 
matter.  He joked, "Although I have said retirement many times, maybe 
some people would feel that this time will be like before, this time 
however I am serious."  Actually after THE WIND RISES' first screening in 
June, he said to his long time collaborator Toshio Suzuki that he no 
longer wanted to work.  However he joked, "Because I have said it many 
times, I didn't know if he thought it was real."  Suzuki said that they 
have worked together for over 30 years and experienced a lot.  However he 
was certain that Hayao Miyazaki this time was serious.  Thus on August 5 
he made the official announcement to the Ghibli employees and planned to 
make the revelation outside in early September.  Coincidentally the film 
took part in the Venice Film Festival, which he thought was a good 
opportunity to make it public.  Thus at the press conference there, the 
Ghibli president announced the retirement.
	The reason behind the retirement was the age of Hayao Miyazaki.  
His health was not what it was.  He said, "In the past I could sit at the 
desk and at least draw for 12 hours, but when I made THE WIND RISES I 
drew for 7 hours and I already felt very exhausted.  Sometimes I would 
set the pen on the desk and went home to rest.  Finally I spent 5 years 
before completing it.  I believed that from now on another full length 
animation would take even longer to produce, maybe 6 or 7 years.  Then 
I will be 80 something.  The Studio and I both can't afford to spend so 
much time to produce a movie."
	Will he participate in other film production or character 
creation in the future, or produce the rumored VALLEY OF THE WIND sequel?  
Hayao Miyazaki immediately said, "No."  He continued, "I am already a 
free man.  I can do whatever I want, and I have the freedom not to do 
anything.  Actually I have something that I want to, but if I say it and 
not do it it would be bad.  So I am not saying anymore."  Later he also 
revealed that the Ghibli Museum has a lot of matter for him to handle, 
for exhibits and volunteering.
	Hayao Miyazaki has released many successful animation.  His most 
memorable was HOWL'S MOVING CASTLE, citing that his work has always been 
under the influence of children cultural work a lot.  Hayao Miyazaki 
said, "I hope to express to children, 'life is valuable and worth 
living', this belief will never change."  Reporters from Taiwan and 
Italy asked since he would have time after his retirement would he 
travel, in particular his work often expressed meaningful messages like 
environmental protection.  This was a good opportunity for him to share 
his ideas and the Japanese culture with fans around the world, but Hayao 
Miyazaki expressed that he hoped fans from around the world would visit 
him in Japan.  "I am not a culture person, I am just an old man in a 
small factory."
	He said that he has never thought about becoming a director, as 
he only wanted to focus on being an animator.  "When I focus on drawing 
on a sketch I could be happy for two or three days.  A director has to 
go from the beginning to the end, it's very tiring especially with my 
bad stomach.  I really wanted to be an animator until the end, this is 
a career that belongs to me."  A reporter was very concerned about his 
health, he said that his health was decent, but old age certainly would 
bring some problems.   He said, "I was once 70 kilograms, at the time I 
was like a pig.  It was very tough."  Luckily his wife cooked for him, 
changed his diet so he was able to have the health to maintain his work 
for years.  As for his wife's response when he decided to retire, "She 
just acknowledged me once, then I asked her to keep preparing the rice box 
for me."  Hayao Miyazaki issued a statement, briefly stating the reason 
for his retirement and his future plans.  He said, "Originally I wanted 
to work another 10 years, while I can drive to work and home, I hope to be 
able to continue to work."  He also said, "My daily life basically won't 
change, everyday I will still take the same road.  Although taking 
Saturday off has been a dream, how would I know if I would be do it?"
	Japanese animation master Hayao Miyazaki has won countless 
awards over the years, like in 2005 at the 62nd Venice Film Festival he 
received the Lifetime Achievement Award.  His most famous work has to be 
the 2001 release SPIRITED AWAY, which not only won countless awards at 
home but also 16 awards internationally like the 2002 Berlin Film Festival 
Golden Bear Prize and the 21st Hong Kong Film Award Best Asian Film and 
the 2003 Best Animation Oscar.  its 3.04 billion yen box office surpassed 
the 1997 film TITANIC to become the highest grossing film in Japan box 
office history.
	Hayao Miyazaki was born on January 5 1941 in Bunkyo district of 
Tokyo.  The second of four brothers, he loved to draw due to his 
childhood frailty and had quite a talent.  He loved the manga of Osamu 
Tezuka and Shigeru Sugiura.  In April 1963 he joined the Toei Animation 
as an animator.
	In 1971 he left Toei Animation and joined A Production with Isao 
Takahata, producing cartoons like LUPIN THE THIRD and 3000 LEAGUES IN 
SEARCH OF MOTHER.  in 1985 he and Toshio Suzuki formed Studio Ghibli and 
produced CASTLE IN THE SKY, MY NEIGHBOR TOTORO, SPIRITED AWAY and 
his latest film THE WIND RISES.

* (2013/09/07) Peter Chan Ho Sun and Sandra Ng Kwan Yu are a loving 
couple and the parents to their daughter Chan Si Chi; recently Mainland 
star Tian Pujun revealed that she had an extraordinary relationship with 
Chan Hon Sun and described him as "boyfriend".  Her 1800 word article 
MY BOYFRIEND -- THE CHAN HO SUN THAT YOU DON'T KNOW spread like crazy 
online, leading to online speculation of her relationship with Chan Ho 
Sun.  Some also felt bad for Ng Kwan Yu.
	Chan Ho Sun responded through his company.  "I only have one

unhappy, I was depressed and didn't want to go out and eat.  Finally I 
was much thinner.  (Did your have financial problems?)  I have savings, 
life wasn't a problem."
	Cheung Woon Nga admitted that the company did not value her.  "I 
remember at the time I finished an advertisement and thought that I would 
ask the photographers to take a few more photos for my official site.  
The company colleague at the time told me to hurry and leave because the 
time was scheduled for another artist."
	Recently Cheung Woon Nga worked with Ronald Cheng Chung Kei, Ava 
Yu Kiu and others on the film HONG KONG UNDERCOVER COP (MAN LUNG DUT 
GWING).  In it Woon Nga played a big time lawyer and had to speak fluent 
English.  She said, "The film had a lot of professional terms, sometimes 
these terms wouldn't get to me until the day of the shoot.  So I spent a 
lot of time to memorize the lines and pronunciation."

* (2013/09/06) Paulyn Sun Kai Kwan after signing with Emperor Motion 
Pictures artist department has had many jobs.  Most recently she even 
accepted a beauty commercial.  She said, "Actually my skin has been great 
since childhood.  Make up artists praise that I have zero pore, many 
friends are envious of me.  Actually I haven't deliberately maintained 
it, sometimes I've been so busy that I didn't even have the time to 
remove the make up."
	Returning to the screen, she has already made many films.  In 
her new film HARDCORE COMEDY (CHUNG HAU MEI) she played a masseuse.  She 
said, "I have never worn clothes with so little cloth, but they were just 
to coordinate with the character.  Working with actors wasn't awkward at 
all."  The film was rated category III, she said, "Actually this isn't 
the first time.  Earlier I performed in a violent category III film."  
Already a mother, she was asked whether she had concerns when choosing a 
script.  She said that she hoped to try different things and thus would 
not limit her own performance.  She said, "I don't want to miss any 
opportunity and regret it.  Thus I am willing to try any character."
	Aside from work, Sun Kai Kwan also made time to enjoy her home 
life.  She said, "You can't just focus on work and lose life.  The most 
important is learning to make time."  As for whether she would accept a 
second spring, she said, "Of course I wish to have romance.  If now 
someone asks me to make a romance, I worry that I don't have the romantic 
feeling."  As for what she looks for in a mate, she said that kindness 
was the most important.

* (2013/09/06) Emperor artist Michelle Wai Si Nga in her new film 
HARDCORE COMEDY (CHUNG HAU MEI) has to face Kelvin Kwan Chor Yiu, the 
otaku with a crush on her, and the "perfect villain" Timothy Cheng Tsz 
Sing's conspiracy.  Si Nga admitted that she got goose bumps from the 
shoot, lost control and laughed herself silly.
	Si Nga's character in the film was fully mysterious, which made 
otaku Kwan Chor Yiu fall for her.  In the story he even stole a tissue 
that Si Nga wiped her mouth with for his collection.  Si Nga said, "I was 
both touched and had some goose bumps.  Because when we talked about the 
script Kelvin looked handsome as usual, I never thought that he would be 
so convincing as an otaku.  He put a lot of effort into his performance.  
In one scene he had to yell at me and called me a 'jerk'.  I never 
thought that he would yell at me like that, so it was very memorable."
	Someone else who left Si Nga with a memorable impression was the 
"Perfect Villain" Timothy Cheng Tsz Sing.  She said, "I am very 
embarrassed, in front of an elder I couldn't hold back my laughter.  
Because I thought of watching A KINDRED SPIRIT when I was little, seeing 
'Tsz ho' acting so seriously in front of me I was terrible.  I just kept 
laughing.  I felt I wasn't very professional."
	When Kelvin shot a love scene with Paulyn Sun Kai Kwan, he was 
much calmer and smarter than Si Nga.  He said, "Sun Kai Kwan is a sex 
goddess.  She has quite an appeal.  In one scene she used her 'mouth' to 
comfort me, as soon as we took our marks she completely led me.   
Although we had a bad take, it was just after watching playback I asked 
the director for another take!"  

* (2013/09/06) Chapman To Man Jat and Charlene Choi Cheuk Yin earlier 
spoke with Angela Yu Wing Man on Entertainment onShow.  Although they 
are friends, actually a drunk Ah Jat called Ah Sa 'bitch' years ago and 
they were at odds!  When Angela asked how they got over it, Ah Jat 
nonsensically pointed out that the key was Ah Sa's boyfriend William Chan 
Wai Ting.  "Luckily I have Chan Wai Ting.  Because Scorpios hold grudges 
and are dirty minded, her dirty mind was satisfied so she forgot her 
grudge!  Thus if you want her to forgive me, first you have to use Chan 
Wai Ting!"
	Angela heard and suddenly said, "Chan Wai Ting is a Scorpio too!"  
Ah Jat got into a groove and even revealed their sex life.  "Just think 
about trapping two Scorpios in a room, then you are dead for sure.  They 
keep ordering room service, would they even go out and eat!"  Ah Sa was 
so mad that she hit Ah Jat's head and screamed with embarrassment 
several times, "Help!"
	Speaking of their film THE MIDAS TOUCH (CHIU CUP GAING LEI YUN), 
they immediately had to mention their manager Mani Fok Man Hei.  Ah Sa 
even revealed that Mani liked Ah Jat very much.  She said, "Although Ah 
Jat always called Mani by her full name, Mani still helped getting many 
jobs for him.  Just from that you know how much she loves Ah Jat!"  Ah 
Jat added, "I don't just call her full name, her full name is Fok Man 
Hei.  When I call for her it's 'hey Fok Man Hei', like I am calling 
Japanese name!"  

* (2013/09/06) The 10th Huading Award will take place on October 7 in 
the Venetian Macao.  Yesterday the nominations were announced.
	Andy Lau Tak Wa, Sean Lau Ching Wan, Nick Cheung Ka Fai, Nicholas  
Tse Ting Fung will represent Hong Kong and compete for Best Actor with 
Mainland actor Wang Xueqi in a competition that has been described as a 
battle of "uncle" actors.  Shu Qi, Tang Wei, Kwai Lun-Mei, Zhang Ziyi 
and Ni Ni will vie for Best Actress.  Zhang Ziyi's boyfriend Sa 
Beining will compete for Best Male Host.  
	As for television series, Raymond Lam Fung, Wayne Lai Yiu Cheung, 
Fala Chen and Kate Tsui Tsz Shan were nominated.  Fala Chen's acting in 
TRIUMPH IN THE SKIES 2 (CHUNG SEUNG WON SIU II) was recognized.  She said 
that she was very honored to be nominated.  "I never expect that by 
taking this character Holiday by chance I would be able to shoot all 
around the world and learn a lot from working with (Francis) Ng Chun Yu.  
I hope to have even more and better work for everyone."

* (2013/09/06) Chow Yun Fat's return to Hong Kong Lunar New Year film 
FROM VEGAS TO MACAU (DOH SING FUNG WON) would be his 40th anniversary in 
the business representative work.  He joked that it would celebrate that 
he was not dead yet.  Since he felt that he was very happy making movies 
he never thought about retiring.  He will work until he will not be able 
to remember his lines.
	Chow Yun Fat, Chapman To Man Jat and Annie Wu (Ng Sun Kwan) have 
been working on location for days in Macau for the Lunar New Year film 
FROM VEGAS FROM MACAU.  Due to weather the production was hindered.  Two 
days ago they continued to shoot the poolside swimsuit scenes, again ran 
into rain and had to stop midway.  Fat Gor prayed for the scenes to be 
completed successfully.  Would the postponement pay extra?  Fat Gor 
joked, "No, when I signed the contract I kept my schedule loose."
	With bikini clad women around the pool, only To Man Jat was the 
only one who got lucky.  Fat Gor pointed out that he had a pretty girl 
Ng Sun Kwan by his side too.  He even said that she was very young and 
that her age was not as large as his career age.  Fat Gor said that he 
joined the TVB training class in 1973 and this year is the 40th 
anniversary of his career.  After over 70 films, his favorite three were 
A BETTER TOMORROW (YING HUNG BOON SIK), AN AUTUMN'S TALE (CHAU TIN DIK 
TUNG WA) and THE KILLER (DIP HUET SEUNG HUNG).  However his production 
rate was no match for Kwan Tak Hing's and Andy Lau Tak Wa's.  Instead he 
made more television series.  Was FROM VEGAS TO MACAU the representative 
work of his 40th anniversary in the business?  Fat Gor joked, "It is a 
representative work, the bustiest one, one after another."
	How will he celebrate the 40th anniversary of his career? Fat Gor 
joked, "I will celebrate that I am not dead yet!"  However Fat Gor never 
thought about retirement.  He joked, "I will work until I won't remember 
the lines.  Someone would say, 'Uncle go home, don't keep from the world 
from turning!' Perhaps I would play mute, blind, crossing the street, 
shaking with Parkinson's Disease in a senior home.  Making movies is so 
fun, with so many people.  You can see so many things, eat so much good 
stuff.  At home it's very boring, no matter how I play it's with the old 
lady."
	Did he like to make Hong Kong film or Hollywood film?  Fat Gor 
said, "Definitely Hong Kong film, but I have too much yin air.  Whenever 
I have time I have to breathe so yang (sounds like foreign) air."  Yet 
he might not negotiate too many collaborations for his return to Hong 
Kong films.  He said, "I am so expensive, who would approach me?  In 
addition Fat Soh's conditions are so brutal!"
	To Man Jat joked that being able to enjoy the beauty by the pool 
was completely the advantage of being from the substance school.  He 
said, "Fat Gor is a god, Tse Ting Fung has no girl who dares to get 
close.  Only I am willing to take it."  Speaking of Isabella Leong Lok 
Si who Ah Jat made into a star making a comeback to film in Taiwan, will 
they work together again?  He said, "Don't said it like that, we just 
worked together before.  With the right story I hope to work with good 
actors.  It will depend on fate."  He pointed out that he mostly made low 
budget films, now he might not be able to afford Leong Lok Si.  He 
joked, "Just because she has money it doesn't mean she will charge less, 
I have to have a budget before I can hire someone.  I am an actor too, 
I don't want others to tap me on the shoulder."  

* (2013/09/06) Sean Lau Ching Wan and Louis Koo Tin Lok landed on the 
cover of DAIRIZI MEN'S.  They have worked together many times.  Goo Jai 
felt that they were like Twins.  Goo Jai said that he and Ching Wan have 
worked together on movies for over 10 years, which has been very 
interesting.  He said, "Other people chose for us to work together, it 
was a very wonderful destiny.  I feel that he is a very stable co-star, 
we have no participation rivalry between us.  We are different types of 
actors."
	Although they have worked together for so long, Goo Jai said that 
he never had the feeling that he no longer wanted to.  He praised Ching 
Wan's acting was ever changing.  He performed every character vividly, 
which he admired very much.  Ching Wan was also a good man, after over a 
decade of marriage with his wife Amy Kwok Oi Ming they were still sweet.  
Ching Wan also praised that Goo Jai was someone with very tidy acting.  
He used to be a little shy, now he can completely let himself go.

* (2013/09/06) Lau Kar Leung passed away in June, September 3 was Master 
Lau's birthday.  Mary Jean Reimer (Yung Jing Jing) earlier commuted 
between Macau and Guangzhou.  Days ago she met with Master Lau's disciple 
Mark at home for a birthday cake.  Yung Jing Jing posted photos on 
facebook.  The cake had th words "Lover Comrade Lau Kar Leung".  She even 
put Master Lau's photo in the center.  She wrote, "I hope he has no 
regret about his life."  Since Lau Kar Leung's passing, Yung Jing Jing 
has been busy with Master Lau's funeral.  Time eased the sadness and the 
pain of losing her beloved.  Recently she has already returned to work.

* (2013/09/06) Edison Chen Koon Hei two days ago promoted his film ALMOST 
PERFECT (30 LAI GUNG PO) in Taiwan.  He took the film the year after 
his 2008 artist nude photo scandal.  He never expected it to be left at 
the bottom of the barrel and not be released until 4 years later.  The 
director originally planned to ask Edison to be the lead actor, but he 
declined.  Because at the time Edison was not confident that he would be 
able to play the emotional scenes well, thus he was willing to be 
"demoted" to supporting actor.  Edison said, "With something happening 
back then, I was very afraid of loving another person again.  Now I 
wouldn't be."
	Nicholas Tse Ting Fung earlier in an interview revealed that he 
has never hated Edison.  Edison said, "After the incident we didn't have 
any contact.  I never said that I was unhappy, and neither did he.  We 
never said anything bad about each other."  As for his relationship with 
his current girlfriend Ann, Edison admitted that it was very stable, 
satisfying, and happy.  This film could be described as his first step to 
his comeback to the film industry.  Edison said, "Most recently many 
people have talked with me about movies, but I hope to jump out of the 
Chen Koon Hei frame."

* (2013/09/05) Shawn Yue Man Lok and popular Korean star Choi Si Won are 
working on the film EQUATOR (CHET DOH) in Hong Kong and did not mind any 
comparison, as they posed for a photo together.  Lok Jai even wrote 
online, "I am very happy to meet you!"  This time of greeting method is 
pretty fresh.  The film also star hunks like Nick Cheung Ka Fai, Jacky 
Cheung Hok Yau and Ji Jin-Hee.  Usually when female stars work together 
rumors and comparisons would follow, but the male stars are obviously 
very friendly.

* (2013/09/05) Maggie Siu Mei Kei and Vincent Sze Cho Lam two nights ago 
attended the RED 2 Hong Kong premiere.  Sze Cho Lam has already come to 
an agreement with an U.S. management company.  Later he will head to the 
U.S. to meet with the boss and for auditions.  Will he mainly make action 
films?  He said, "I don't want to label what kind of film.  Hong Kong 
action films indeed are renowned overseas, but Hong Kong actors have 
talent in other areas."  Did he ask his U.S. company to sign his "wife 
Siu Mei Kei"?  Siu Mei Kei's eyes widened as she "interrogated" Sze Cho 
Lam jokingly, "You have a wife!  I am just your girlfriend!  Let me 
improve my English first."  Sze Cho Lam joked that Siu Mei Kei was too 
amazing and could not be hired.  When suggested that they would secretly 
wed on their trip to the U.S., Siu Mei Kei sweetly smiled and said, 
"Right!"  Sze Cho Lam joked that they will wed in 2443, it will be a long 
term plan.
	THE WAY WE DANCE (KONG MO PAI) director Adam Wong Sau Ping and 
leads Babyjohn Choi Hong Yik and Cherry Ngan Cheuk Ling attended.  They 
were very happy that WAY has already reached HK$8 million at the box 
office and hoped the success would continue.  They also revealed that in 
2014 they will jump to make THE WAY WE DANCE 3 first.  Babyjohn and Ngan 
Cheuk Ling admitted that THE WAY WE DANCE brought them a lot of work.  
Babyjohn had parts of the film DELETE (DELETE OI YUN) and a Radio and 
Television Hong Kong series, while Ngan Cheuk Ling will make a suspense 
film at the end of the month.

	Jacqueline Chong Si Man, Shiga Lin Si Nga and Jinny Ng Yeuk Hei 
have one thing in common -- long legs!  The three women recently in the 
Patrick Kong (Yip Lim Sum) directed new film THE BEST PLAN IS NO PLAN 
(KAU NUI BUT LEI 3 HING DAI) of course would bare their legs and show 
off their assets.  Chong Si Man would even have her share of passion 
scenes as she would wear a thong to seduce Hanjin Tan (Chan Woon Yun), 
rock a car with Sammy Sum Chun Hin and challenge her sexy bottom line.  
"LAN KWAI FONG Girl" Lin Si Nga and "Nice Girl"  Ng Yeuk Hei both 
surrender as they would not dare to appear in underwear.

	Chong Si Man, Lin Si Nga and Ng Yeuk Hei earlier all showed off 
their legs for their interviews.  Chong Si Man in the film would rock the 
car with boyfriend Sum Chun Hin and a passionate bed scene in only a bra 
and a pair of thong with Chan Woon Yun in an one night stand.  Chong Si 
Man said, "Actually I already knew Sammy in Canada so the car rocking 
scene wasn't too awkward.  We just moved a little to rock the car and had 
no passionate kiss.  If we had to kiss I would have accepted it too."

Chong Si Man Climbs On A Guy In A Thong
	Chong Si Man and Chan Woon Yan worked on a bed scene.  She 
praised director Yip Lim Sum for being attentive and clearing the set.  
"In the scene Chan Woon Yan lied to me about being rich, I accepted the 
date.  Yet at the key moment I took the initiative instead and climbed on 
him.  The only embarrassing part was at the time I was wearing a pair of 
thong.  If you stood behind me it would be very awkward since you could 
see the entire pat pat!"  She joked that this scene had to make Hanjin 
feel like he was being raped.  "Before hand I asked Hanjin to tell his 
wife to visit the set, but he said that when his wife found out his 
co-star was me she said that sh was very relaxed!  I am a girl too, have 
I already reached the point of being completely harmless?"  She said that 
for this scene, her only consideration was losing ten pounds.
	When Chong Si Man first guest starred in a film, it was Yip Lim 
Sum's first film MY SWEETIE (TIM SI SI).  So far they have already worked 
together eight times.  She said, "At first we were familiar, we had no 
impression that we even met on our first film.  We only started to know 
each other in recent years."  She admitted that during the shoot her 
rumored boyfriend Yip Lim Sum did not give any special treatment, but she 
praised his talent.  Was he her type?  Chong Si Man said, "As a boyfriend 
you have to be able to communicate.  He and I are friends, at least we 
have the most basic and can communicate first.  However I haven't thought 
about development space.  I wouldn't take the initiative and pursue 
someone.  If he doesn't make it known, I wouldn't either."
	As for Lin Si Nga in the films LAN KWAI FONG and LAN KWAI FONG 2 
she had daring kiss scenes.  This time in BEST she played an anti 
government rock girl.  "This time I am rougher, I would sit without any 
regard for manner, inhale my food like a wolf.  In one scene I had four 
pieces of bread, three sausages, macaroni, Salisbury steak and an egg at 
all once.  First as soon as the director yelled cut I really puked it 
all back out!"  In the film she and Sum Chun Hin had an intimate scene.  
"Luckily it wasn't my first collaboration with Sum Chun Hin, so we had 
chemistry."  In the LAN series she dared to make a sexy break through, but 
actually she could not accept appearing in underwear.  "I don't have 
anything to show off.  If I have to wear bra and underwear like Chong Si 
Man, I can't accept it!  I may have to succeed with breast enhancement, 
eat more and get fatter, or be satisfied with my own figure before I 
can."

Jinng Ng: Hot Mamasan
	Ng Yeuk Hei in the film played a Mamasan, which inevitably was 
unconvincing.  However Lin Si Nga praised her as hot.  Ng Yeuk Hei's 
Mamasan role had to wear a low cut dress and show legs.  She also had an 
ambiguous relationship with Justin Chung Kin Sing.  Did they have any 
intimate scene?  Ng Yeuk Hei said, "No, I am not used to it.  With 
acting or photo sessions I would be all stiff with a male companion next 
to me.  Earlier at the audition the director already knew."  In order to 
understand hr character, Ng Yeuk Hei watched some 70s and 80s night club 
scenes.  "I told the director I really wanted to be (Sandra) Ng Kwan Yu, 
a character that would make everyone laugh as soon as they saw me."

2. MING PAO DAILY, SEPTEMBER 8 2013, FILM WORDS
THE MIDAS TOUCH FEELS OLD

	After summer vacation ended the film market quieted down.  Aftr 
over 20 days in release the Hong Kong film UNBEATABLE (GIK JIN) remained 
atop the daily box office and headed for HK$40 million.  This week the new 
film release with more viewers was also a Hong Kong film, THE MIDAS TOUCH 
(CHIU CUP GAING LEI YUN), which overwhelmingly crushed the Oscar Best 
Actress and veteran superstars starred foreign film RED 2.  Yet that Hong 
Kong new film was absurd and childish, no match for the latter's veteran 
firepower and the higher common entertainment value.
	In comparison, the Hong Kong film THE MIDAS TOUCH's team is 
several decades younger than RED 2's.  Top Hong Kong stars Chapman To Man 
Jat and Charlene Choi Cheuk Yin star and cultivate seven pretty young 
girls, with the Mainland hunk Gao Yunxiang as we ll as guest stars 
Nicholas Tse Ting Fung, Wong Cho Nam, Gillian Chung Yun Tung, Hins Cheung 
King Hin, Stephanie Che Yuen Yuen, Lo Hoi Pang and others its opening 
viewers were plenty.  This film could cause some chuckles but feel old 
dated, it lacked the sense of youth that THE WAY WE DANCE (KONG MO PAI) 
had.
	To Man Jat played a collection agency boss who heroically took 
in seven pretty young performers and was determined to make them into 
stars.  He even hired Choi Cheuk Yin who was familiar with the business 
to be their manager.  After suffering numerous setbacks they finally 
succeeded.  Started as a screen writer, director Fung Chi Chiang last 
year made THE BOUNTY (YUEN HUNG), an odd and dark comedy with To Man Jat 
and Fiona Sit Hoi Kei.  This time the subject was common but very hard 
to make ideally.  I would not spend much time talking about this, I would 
just say that it was not suitable to my taste.  Actually in last year the 
Heiward Mak Hei yan directed DIVA, To Man Jat as singer Joey Yung Choi 
Yi's manager was very outstanding.  This time he just kept trying to be 
funny and lacked that film's detailed and realistic depiction of show 
business. (one and a half out of five stars) - SHEK KEI

[ THE FILM CATALOGUE ]
  So Po-Wing considers himself being underappreciated. He works at “Get
  Rich Now Consultants Limited” founded by “The Godfather of MLM” Fat Ma.
  Wing’s colleagues often steal his ideas, bringing his career to a dead
  end. 

  Wing also has a mother who treats him as cash cow, and an injurious
  friend Wah-Dee who often embroils him into trouble.  Despite all the
  negativity, Wing has a gentle and virtuous childhood sweetheart, Bobo
  Chung, who always comforts him when he is dejected. He always vents his
  grievance to her, as he believes Bobo will never leave him for the
  world.

  Wing receives a weird text message one day, saying: Ever thought of
  deleting those you dislike? Forward this message to a friend. Wish your
  wish comes true!

  On Wing’s birthday, Fat Ma fires him with some ridiculous reasons. Wing
  is aggrieved and accidentally kills Fat Ma in the quarrel, and disposes
  his body in the boot of Fat Ma’s car. But when Wing returns to the
  office, he is shocked to find his colleagues addressing an imposing
  foreigner Boss Ma. Wing goes back and sneaks to take a look in the
  boot, only to find it empty! 

  As the story continues, how would Wing use this incredible superpower
  to change his life?

  Nick Cheung puts on weight and age to play Fai, a 48-year-old
  down-out-out boxer, eking out a living in Macao training fat ladies to
  lose weight. Now Dan, a brat sharing his flat with her single mom,
  tortures him at home, and then Eddie Peng’s Qi, a hunk of a young man
  entering an MMA tournament to prove something, pesters him at the gym.
  Sure they make his life hell, but again, they may be angels in
  disguise. With exhilarating kick-boxing scenes edited at a furious pace
  abundant, director Dante Lam also fashions a warming drama about love,
  loyalty and redemption.

  things might change with a more strategic approach, he hires
  experienced talent manager Suen but with money running low and the
  company on the brink of bankruptcy, a dejected Chiu is soon ready to
  admit that his Midas touch has run out until a Korean showbiz entity
  expresses interest in the girls. Now Chiu has to decide whether he is
  willing to say goodbye to his investment and, more importantly, to a
  dream he has come so close to achieving.

Soo explores human obsessive desire for sex. Based on a short novel of 
the same name, B.E.D. is told through the eyes of the three main 
characters, whose joy, passion, despair and death overflow into one bed. 
The man B. has an affair with a bored married woman E., who eventually 
dumps him. In order to get over E., B. marries D., a divorcee with a 
small daughter, but still keeps the bed in which he made love with E. His 
obsession with E. never goes away, as he attempts to get her back.

	The powerful, boundary-pushing drama that put director Park Cheol 
Soo on the map, 301, 302 explores the stories of two neighboring women,

pasts are not that different – and that their disorders may ultimately 
bring them together in a very unexpected way. Breaking free from 
traditional Korean storytelling, the film achieved massive success and
