* (2013/08/21) Because of the native Hong Kong film THE WAY WE DANCE 
(KONG MO PAI), more people recognized lead actor BabyJohn Choi Hong Yik.  
Even Chow Yun Fat praised his potential to be Stephen Chow Sing Chi's 
successor.  Yesterday on his Commercial Radio interview, BabyJohn said 
that he had no idea about Fat Gor's support.  "I am truly very happy, 
earlier I asked the film company if they had tickets for this movies.  I 
really wanted great actors like (Nick) Cheung Ka Fai, (Anthony) Wong Chau 
Sun and Lau Ching Wan to be able to watch this film, I never guessed that 
Fat Gor would truly come and watch."  Speaking of Fat Gor's compliment, 
he said, "Fat Gor is a god class idol, I am not fit to be compared with 
Chow Sing Chi.  Yet what he said confirmed my goal to continue to work in 
the film industry."

* (2013/08/21) The Pang Brothers directed the first real 3D disaster film 
in the world, INFERNO 3D (TOH CHOOK SUN TIN 3D), yesterday afternoon held 
a Beijing press conference and unveiled the first 3D trailer and six 
major disaster scenes.  Angelica Lee Sinjie revealed the various 
heart pounding scenes in this disaster film.  As the fire fighting hero 
Lau Ching Wan even "complained" to the directors.  "They lied to me and 
said with special effect, the fire wasn't real.  I only found out I was 
fooled after arriving!"  Lau Ching Wan has worked with Louis Koo Tin 
Lok many times, would he worry that working together again would lack 
freshness?  He answered, "I am not a woman, why would I have to stay 
fresh with him?"

* (2013/08/21) Charlene Choi Cheuk Yin, Chapman To Man Jat, Gao Yunxiang 
and other actors along with producer Chan Hing Ka and director Fung Chih 
Keung yesterday attended the film THE MIDAS TOUCH (CHIU CUP GAING LEI 
YUN) press conference in Beijing.  Guest starring manager Mani Fok Man 
Hei was also on hand.  Ah Sa gave her a special "gratitude hand print 
tree" and invited all the Emperor artists to leave their finger prints as 
a symbol of everyone's "like" for Mani's car.  Mani was rather touched.
	Ah Sa in the film played a manager, which made her experience 
how absolutely difficult bing a manager was.  The event asked Ah Sa to 
draw To Man Jat's body shape on a piece of paper.  Finally she drew 
abdominal muscles and drooping chest and joked that he was out of shape.  
To Man Jat replied, "Why are the abdominal muscles leaning toward one 
side?  Not evrey part of the human body leans toward one side.  Luckily 
you didn't draw the lower half, otherwise I don't know how you would have 
drawn it."

* (2013/08/21) The Wilson Chin Kwok Wai directed film LAN KWAI FONG 3 
(HEI OI YEH PO 3) due to DaDa Chan Jing's sudden retirement announcement 
had to change its script.  Yesterday LAN 3 had an all new production 
start titled "operation deck reshuffle"; DaDa's close friend Jeana Ho Pui 
Yu joined the cast.  Chin Kwok Wai praised Jeana for clearing separating 
business and personal matter.  Jeana revealed that DaDa has already left 
for Australia because Hong Kong gave DaDa too much pressure; she also 
denied pregnancy rumors for DaDa but hinted that someone instigated 
DaDa's retirement.
	DaDa's sudden retirement announcement led to many speculations, 
one of the rumored reasons was that she was pregnant.  Some also said 
that DaDa has left for Australia.  After DaDa "submerged", Jeana who 
has stayed in touch with her admitted that Dada has left for Australia to 
ease her mood.  Hong Kong was giving DaDa too much pressure.  She hoped 
for DaDa to recover soon and as a good friend she would support her to 
the end; she also pointed out that DaDa indeed had a little depression.  
Did success at work bring pressure too? Jeana felt that everyone's 
situation was different.  DaDa did not revealed to her that she was 
afraid of being sued.  DaDa only said that she wanted to relax a little.
	As for DaDa's pregnancy rumor, Jeana overreacted and said, "It's 
spread so quick!"  She denied for her good friend with certainty.  DaDa 
took time off with the company until September, she was unsure if she 
would return to Hong Kong.  However DaDa knew about the company's final 
notice.  Why did she not talk to DaDa bout work responsibility?  Jeana 
said that as a friend she hoped that next time she would not just listen 
to anyone's opinion.  Who gave DaDa the idea?  Did someone instigate her 
to retire?  Jeana immediately said, "I don't know!"  Did she feel that 
she got quite a deal from this?  Jeana joked, "Even if it is I am not a 
second choice, I should be the third choice.  Can't it just fall to me?"  
She even revealed that she and Alex Lam Tak Shun will have a French kiss.  
She already asked him to grow facial hair because she liked men with 
facial hair.  However she would not have a bed scene but a table scene.
	Yesterday a report claimed that the original guest star Whitney 
Hui Yik Nei replaced DaDa, but before the production start yesterday, Yu 
Kiu's company sent a text message to the media and claimed that Yu Kiu 
took over DaDa's role; Chin Kwok Wai immediately explained.  He said that 
he could not find DaDa and did not plan to think about it anymore.  The 
film company will take legal action; he also said that Celia Sie Lim Chi 
should be the one with the biggest headache and she should send out a 
missing person notice.  He felt that DaDa still had such a long contract 
with Sie Lim Chi, if she wanted to work on other movies or retire she 
should talk with Sie Lim Chi first.  He also denied that Yu Kiu and Hui 
Yik Nei replaced DaDa's character.  Jeana, Yu Kiu and Hui Yik Nei's roles 
were similar, all three were leads; he cast Hui Yik Nei because she was a 
new comer and felt fresh, like when DaDa made the first film she too was 
a new comer.
	Yu Kiu also denied that she took over DaDa's role, only DaDa's 
third party story.  As she and boyfriend Jason Chan Pak Yu was about to 
wed, third party Lam Tak Shun appeared.  It was different from the 
married DaDa's extra martial affair in the original story.  She said that 
after the script change, she had more bed scenes.  DaDa's hot spring 
battle with Korean models all fell on her.  She and Lam Tak Shun also had 
passionate scenes, including him grabbing her chest.  Yu Kiu even took a 
stab at Hui Yik Nei, "She took my role, I want to see how she would play 
my role!"
	Yu Kiu admitted that yesterday with so much "talent" she pushed 
up all she could.  Unfortunately sh still lost to Hui Yik Nei's 35D 5 
inch career line.  Originally Hui Yik Ni wore a leather jacket, but at 
Chin Kwok Wai's request co-star Chan Pak Yu helped her remove it.  Hui 
Yik Nei did not feel that she took DaDa's spot.  Because the entire 
script changed, her role was increased.  As for bed scene and how sexy 
would she be, she did not know anything and was not worried about 
becoming a public enemy.
	"Inch Mouth Barbie" Liu (Ha Wai Yu) was asked if she benefited 
from other's misfortune?  She said that she still has not received the 
script and did not know the size of her role.  However she stated that 
she has been very lucky since she joined the business.  Today her figure 
was the most outstanding.  She thanked everyone for their appreciation, 
and said that her costume was the art director's arrangement.  Mika Siu 
whose role was reduced due to DaDa admitted that she was a little upset 
but she did not blame her elder DaDa.
	Yesterday the actresses all "busted" out, Chin Kwok Wai even 
joked about Inch Mouth Barbie, "From now on you are called Inch Mouth 
Pineapple Spike Chest." 
	Artist Ronan Pak Kin Yan also attended.  In the film he played a 
medical student and luckily had scenes with Jeana, Celia Kwok Wing Yi and 
Mika Siu.  Was he worried that he would not be able to handle working 
with three hot actresses?  Siu Pak joked, "It will be like breast feeding, 
it's OK."  He revealed that he has already been notified about the 
passionate performance and even bed scene, but he still did not know how 
far they would go.  He could accept rear revealing scenes.  "If the 
co-star is willing , I don't have any reason not to be.  It would be so 
unfair."

* (2013/08/21) Eddie Peng Yu-Yen in the film WONG FEI HUNG ji YING HUNG 
YAU MUNG (WONG FEI HUNG: HERO WITH A DREAM) played Wong Fei Hung.  
Angelababy (Yang Ying) would also have a mystery performance.  Peng 
Yu-Yen yesterday appeared with a bald head at the production start 
ceremony.  He said that in order to play Wong Fei Hung well, he has 
already secretly studied Southern Fist for a very long time.  He said, 
"Playing Wong Fei Hung relies on fighting and not talking.  I studied 
a famous Southern Fist instructor and learned the authentic taolu."  
In the southern summer that reached 40 degrees Celsius, he everyday would 
insist on training for 10 hours and changed every times a day.  Every 
piece of clothing could be wrought for sweat.  Peng Yu-Yen was very 
interested in martial art lessons himself, often Master would boast that 
with his long limbs he was quite talented.
	The WONG FEI HUNG film series had many over 500 films, Jet Li 
(Lee Nin Kit) and Vincent Zhao Wenzhou both have played the role; Peng 
Yu-Yen was not afraid of comparison.  He grew up watching Wong Fei Hung 
and remembered every move very clearly.  When he learned that he would 
star he was so excited that she could not sleep for days.

* (2013/08/21) The Patrick Kong (Yip Lim Sum) directed, Wong Cho Nam and 
Michael Hui Koon Man starred new DELETE (DELETE OI YUN) yesterday held a 
production start press conference.  Hui Koon Man said that he liked to 
watch Cho Nam act.  "His comedic abilities are crazy high, but he isn't 
tall and handsome enough.  (Sam) Hui Koon Kit used to 'shake' me with 
handsomeness.  Now I am 'shaking' Cho Nam."  Cho Nam hoped to learn from 
his elder.  Earlier he and Hui Koon Man had a scene together and praised 
his acting ability as amazing.  He could improvise at anytime and Wong 
Cho Nam worried about not being able to handle it.
	In a wild costume Jacqueline Chong Si Man played Wong Cho Nam's 
younger sister who was quite fond of gambling and needed to use foul 
language.  She said, "A little foul language, like greeting other 
people's parents.  However I don't need to practice, I know it on my 
own but I rarely use it.  In the film I have many intimate scenes but no 
bed scene.  I don't need to be sexy either, at most I would wear are 
shorts."

* (2013/08/20) Originally starring DaDa Chan Jing, LAN KWAI FONG 3 (HEI 
OI YEH PO 3) had a joyful production start ceremony on August 7th, but 
without any advanced warning on August 9th DaDa announced her retirement 
due to emotional disorder online and vanished without notifying the 
production team.  Yet several days later she "resurfaced" for another 
film's additional shoot, thus enraging LAN KWAI FONG 3 director Wilson 
Chin Kwok Wai.  As everyone asked him whether he would look for a 
replacement for DaDa, Director Chin could not be angrier already.  He 
did not want to be dumped and instead removed DaDa's character from the 
script entirely.  In ten short days "the deck was reshuffled" with 2011 
Miss Hong Kong second runner up Whitney Hui Yik Nei in the female lead.  
Her role would also be an even split with the film's other lead actress 
Ava Yu Kiu.
	To familiarize the actors with the performance environment, 
Director Chin last Saturday night led the actresses Yu Kiu, Whitney and 
Inch Mouth Barbie to scout Lan Kwai Fong.  Yu Kiu "stuck" to Director 
Chin and chatted closely, while Whitney followed the group.  The four 
did several laps around Lan Kwai Fong.  The three beauties descended the 
stairway like they were on the catwalk, as pedestrians ducked to the 
sides and stared.  Director Chin said that they would scout the location 
every time they made LAN KWAI FONG for the actors to be able to submerge 
into it easily and make it convenient for the production.  Last night 
Director Chin and another group of "angel" members Yuri Chan Yui Yui, 
Kibby Lau Lei and Coffee Lam Chin Yu dined.
	Director Chin actually had his heart set on using Whitney as the 
lead actress.  However at the time DaDa was still around and Director 
Chin could only arrange for Whitney to guest star.  Now DaDa ran off, 
Director Chin promoted Whitney's role to lead actress.  Even though LAN 
KWAI FONG films were known for their love scenes, Whitney both with 
her Miss Hong Kong background and TVB contract actress had a protected 
image and Director Chin was still willing to coordinate.  Yesterday he 
said that Whitney will not have any nude scene.  "We respect TVB very 
much.  Right now we are still in negotiation.  This time Whitney will 
just be limited sexy.  She will have love but not much lust.  The last 
time (Shiga) Lin Si Nga wasn't nude either!  (Co-star?)  (Jason) Chan 
Pak Yu.  (In the first time he had a chest squeezing scene.)  I still 
haven't finished with their roles yet, ultimately it will stop short of 
anything!"
	Whitney yesterday was excited about the lead role.  "After 
hearing the story, the sexy standard was my bottom line.  The director 
promised m that the priority of everything was looking pretty!  (You 
were promoted after DaDa's retirement.)  Don't say that, the role just 
got larger and the story changed.  So you can't say I replaced her!"  TVB 
executive Elaine Lok Yi Ling yesterday confirmed Whitney's performance.  
"Because of the changes from losing DaDa's character, Hui Yik Nei heard 
the pitch and found it acceptable so we will let her try it.  (She can't 
have any love scene?)  LAN KWAI FONG 3 will be a category IIB film.  We 
TVB are more strict with our artists, but Director Chin promised me that 
he would make appropriate adjustments."

* (2013/08/20) Director Roy Chow Hin Yung will bring the classic film WONG 
FEI HUNG back to the big screen, with Sammo Hung Kam Bo, Jing Boran, Wong 
Cho Nam, Max Zhang Jun in WONG FEI HUNG ji YING HUNG YAU MUNG (WONG FEI 
HUNG: HERO WITH A DREAM).  The film will shoot in Shanghai and Wuzhen.  
Sammo will play the villain in the film, Wong Cho Nam the new generation 
So, Zhang Jun a Black Tiger Gang boss.  This will be Zhang Jun's first 
costume film.  20 years since Tsui Hark's ONCE UPON A TIME IN CHINA (WONG 
FEI HUNG) the kung fu classic will again be a challenge.  Producer Bill 
Kong Chi Keung said that he has sold many films overseas, among Chinese 
films only kung fu films have been able to reach all over the world.

* (2013/08/20) White Dragon King Chow Yam Nam passed away in Thailand 
last Saturday at the ag of 76.  His disciple Andrew Lau Wai Kung left 
work and immediately flew there.  Eric Tsang Chi Wai who has known the 
White Dragon King for 30 years two days ago also went from the Mainland 
to pay his respects and participate in scripture chanting.
	They returned to Hong Kong one after another.  Lau Wai Kung had a 
smile on his face but when he talked about the White Dragon King he 
immediately looked serious.  "From last week to September 1, the services 
will be open to the public, every night from around 9 to 10 scripture 
chanting will take place.  I am still sadden and Madame's emotions are 
still upset.  The news very sudden and sad when everyone received it."  
Lau Wai Keung several months ago saw Master.  At the time Master told him 
to work hard.  Will he attend the September 1 funeral?  Lau Wai Keung 
said, "Work comes first, now I am working on FROM VEGAS TO MACAU (DOH 
SING FUNG WON).  If I will have time I definitely will attend, many 
business insiders will go too."
	Tsang Chi Wai said that he was okay, as for whether he will 
attend the funeral he said, "I will have to work at the Miss Hong Kong 
pageant, if the company will permit me to go then I will go."  He said 
that two nights ago he and Lau Wai Keung participated in the scripture 
chanting until late night.
	Nat Chan Pak Cheung said that September 1 will be the Miss Hong 
Kong pageant finals.  Early in the year he saw the White Dragon King, who 
thought his health was iffy.  Ah Lek said, "He said no matter what 
happened I wouldn't need to go, perhaps it was the end of our destiny."  
As for dispute over his successor, Ah Lek said, "I haven't heard him 
say anything at all, I don't feel this needs successors.  It should be 
natural.  In 1994 when I was 44, the White Dragon King told me to return 
to singing.  At the time I sang NGOR JI LEK, some things had to depend on 
timing, location and people.  In recent years he has not had anything to 
ask him, only talked about some very difficult topics."
	Has he contacted Mary Jean Reimer (Yung Jing Jing)?  Ah Lek said, 
"Lau Kar Leung's matter has already come to an end.  I am only more 
familiar with Master. I wouldn't butt into the matter with Shaw's.  I 
don't know anything about it or the contract content."
	The White Dragon King's widow and their daughters, son in laws, 
disciples and others yesterday held a press conference at the White 
Dragon King Temple.  An elder named Lo stated that the White Dragon King 
had no successor because no one could replace him.  As for dispute over 
the inheritance, Elder Lo said that at this stage the White Dragon King's 
funeral was the most important.  The Master's wife has the complete 
decision making right about the funeral.

* (2013/08/20) Alex Fong Lik Sun yesterday accepted a nowTV interview.  He 
earlier in an interview revealed that he was already mentally prepared to 
wed, all was left was his girlfriend Stephy Tang Lai Yun's intention.  
Fong Lik Sun said, "Mentally, timing wise, financially I am all ready, I 
just lack that impulse.  As a Pisces I love romance, the proposal should 
be natural!"
	The Fong Lik Sun starred Mainland film FLASH PLAY will be 
released at the end of the month.  He said, "In th film I had many scenes 
with Chrissie Chau Sau Na and Zhang Xinyu.  The intimate scenes turn the 
standards upside down.  Very likely due to the censors the director will 
cut a lot of them.  Zhang Xinyu saw the final cut and many scenes were 
removed, they were quite a waste.  Everyone thought that I was very lucky 
to work with sexy goddesses, but actually I never enjoyed it.  The shoot 
was very tough and privately they are more tomboyish, we never felt the 
electricity."
	Fong Lik Sun revealed that when Zhang Xinyu was dating she only 
had eyes for her boyfriend.  After the shoot she even declined to go out 
for free, as she even said that she had to turn herself over.  Did he 
give Stephy any advanced warning before taking the role?  Fong Lik Sun 
said, "I have a good background, the cleanest.  I don't need to warn her 
in advance and would invite her to watch the film."

* (2013/08/20) Candy Yuen Ka Man and Wong Bo Bo (Spring Roll) yesterday 
attended a press conference.  Yuen Ka Man is working with Chow Yun Fat on 
the film FROM VEGAS TO MACAU (DOH SING FUNG WON) and had nothing but 
praise for her idol Fat Gor.  She said that she was under Fat Gor's 
spell.  For an action scene, when Fat Gor came in contact with her she 
was already half numb.  She said, "I am all dizzy from Fat Gor's 
electricity.  On the first day of work with Fat Gor, he shook my hand 
and talked to me about his past TVB work experience.  He is very cute, 
every time when the work day starts he would shake your hand once.  I 
got dizzy every time.  Luckily one day we had tropical cyclone warning 
signal 8, and I had a day to calm down."
	Yuen Ka Man said that Fat Gor taught her to act but his words 
were very deep, as he told her to slow down by 1/3 of a beat for action 
scenes.

* (2013/08/20) Angelababy (Yang Ying) and Janice Man Wing Shan started 
around the same time as they both jumped from the pseudo model world to 
the film industry and were called nemeses.  Two nights ago they ran into 
each other at the 13th Chinese Film Media Award.  Baby with the film THE 
FIRST TIME won Viewers' Choice Most Eye Catching Actress, while JM was 
just a guest.  The comparison was inevitable.
	Baby has been in the business for 3 years and made 8 movies, 6 of 
which made over 100 million yuan.  She said that this year she has won 
several film awards, which were quite encouraging.  She hoped to continue 
to hone her acting.  This time she ran into JM and thus mad plans to meet 
after the award show, but she humbly said that she did not feel that her 
career pulled ahead of JM's.  Baby said, "Everyone has your own road to 
take, as long as you are happy it's fine.  She is great too, I have 
supported her movies."  Baby admitted that once due to job her friendship 
with JM was affected.  "Our relationship used to be great, in the middle 
for awhile we became distant and had some slight misunderstanding because 
of work locations and many reasons!  When we grew up, we realized that 
in this business no one would be forever friends or forever enemies.  As 
long as you bring your heart to make friends it's fine."  Baby refused to 
reveal who took the initiative to resolve the misunderstanding.  She only 
said, "Ultimately artists would like to have some secrets for themselves.  
Actually it's not like anything happened, only at the workplace we 
couldn't get along."  Reporters suggested for her to stay for a photo with 
JM, Baby awkwardly turned it down.  "A bit later."
	JM was happy for Baby's award and would celebrate with her with 
champagne.  JM admitted that she wanted an award.  "The goal of an 
actress is to receive recognition."  Speaking of Baby and her becoming 
distant due to a misunderstanding, was it due to competition?  JM said, 
"I don't need to confirm what kind of misunderstanding it is, actually 
everyone has competition.  It wouldn't keep you from being friends, no

	Was they turned against each other?  JM said, "I don't want to 
study it in depth, in the end everyone cherish this moment and support 
each other.  Finding a confidant in this business is very hard, not to 
mention one that you've known since you were little."

* (2013/08/20) The 13th Chinese Film Media Award Best Actor and Best 
Actress Tony Leung Ka Fai and Mainland star Yan Bingyan two nights ago 
ran into each other for the first time at the celebration.  Yan Bingyan 
said to Leung Ka Fai, "I have seen COLD WAR and THE LOVER."  Leung Ka Fai 
joked, "THE LOVER was never imported into China, I guarantee that you 
watched the pirated version."  Yan Bingyan admitted, "Right, I saw it a 
long time ago."
	Leung Ka Fai reportedly agreed to Eric Tsang Chi Wai's invitation 
to make a TVB series.  Leung Ka Fai said, "Once at a party I promised Chi 
Wai, I might not make it, but I also can't say that it would be 
impossible.  I have never worked on a series and am afraid that I won't 
be able to handle it, but when I promise someone I have to do it."  COLD 
WAR brought Leung Ka Fai awards, but he had reservations about the 
sequel.  "The sequel never existed in my mind.  COLD WAR shouldn't have a 
sequel, don't have too many fantasies about it.  I once heard the sequel 
was being planned, but I haven't received any news.  The directors are 
making another film, perhaps it will be next year.  Next year I already 
have jobs lined up."  However he said if time permits he definitely will 
take part.

* (2013/08/20) Taiwan singer Kenji Wu two nights ago attended the Chinese 
Media Film Awards as a guest performer.  He and Zhang Jingchu worked 
together on the film THE OLD CINDERELLA and played a kind but mischievous 
"tall, rich and handsome".  Would his rumored girlfriend Laurinda Ho 
Chiu Lin agree that he was "tall, rich and handsome"?  Kenji Wu joked, "I 
don't know, wait until after she watches it first."  Speaking of Chiu 
Lin, her "white, rich and pretty" matched him well.  Kenji Wu laughed.
	Kenji Wu hoped that for the film's release in October to have 
premieres in Beijing and Shanghai, as he would invite more friends.  Will 
he expect Chiu Lin?  Kenji Wu said, "I gladly let friends watch it.  She 
has her won work, we shall see!"  Kenji Wu praised Zhang Jingchu as a 
serious worker who would rehearse many times before the shoot, which made 
him feel relaxed.

* (2013/08/19) The 13th Chinese Film Media Award last night took place in 
Quanzhou.  Tony Leung Ka Fai after winning the Hong Kong Film Award Best 
Actor with COLD WAR won again.  Best Actress nominee Sammi Cheng Sau Man 
lost to Yan Bingyan.  Absent due to his mother's birthday, Chapman To Man 
Jat with DIVA won Best Supporting Actor.  Angelababy was the "viewers' 
choice most eye catching actress".
	Leung Ka Fai earlier won the Hong Kong Film Award Best Actor with 
COLD WAR.  He appeared to be much calmer with his victory yesterday.  
Actually 7 years ago h has already won this award with ELECTION (HAK SEH 
WUI).  Leung Ka Fai described himself as lost.  Because he just finished 
a film overseas, he was still jet lagged.  Josie Ho Chiu Yi presented the 
award, which Leung Ka Fai was extra emotional about.  "We have acted 
together before, thank you very much for voting for m.  In the futur I 
will work with even more new directors."
	Cheng Sau Man was nominated for Best Actress with ROMANCING IN 
THIN AIR (GO HOI BUT JI LUEN II).  She once joked that she has lost 7 
times already, this time would be her eighth.  The award went to FENG 
SHUI's Yan Bingyan.  She said, "This film has already given me too much, 
far surpassing my expectation.  I am truly very emotional.  Thank you 
Director for giving me such a good character to play, and thank you to 
the entire team as well because every movie needs to work together to do 
well.  FENG SHUI's box office truly was thousands of arrows through the 
hart, but I have benefited the most and I won an award too.  The feeling 
is indescribable." 
	To Man Jat won Best Supporting Actor with DIVA, but he had to 
celebrate his mother's birthday and was unable to attend.  He prepared a 
Putonghua speech video.  He said, "I am very honored, this year I have 
been busy with film productions and haven't had time to dine with Mama.  
So I have to be with her on her birthday, not being able to personally 
accept the award is very regrettable.  Thank you Director for making me 
look more handsome than in real life, I also have to thank (Joey) Yung 
Cho Yi.  Without her there wouldn't be this movie.  This time is already 
the third time I won with this movie.  When a comedy actor wins an award, 
to me it is also a comedy."  The host Mickey Huang made fun of his 
Putonghua as very rotten, turning "comedy actor" into "dead actor".
	When Baby accepted "viewers' choice most eye catching actress" 
she said, "Thank you to the event and viewers for voting, after making 
movies for 3 years and 8 movies, as an actress I would be excited about 
performing well.  I am heading toward my film dream step by step.  I hope 
everyone would have a film dream too, let's go together!"
	Best Picture was LETHAL HOSTAGE, the director of which Cheng Er 
also won Best New Director.  Best Director went to BEIJING BLUES' Gao 
Qunshu.

* (2013/08/19) The 13th Chinese Film Media Award last night took place 
in Quanzhou, artists from China, Hong Kong and Taiwan took to the red 
carpet.  The event image ambassador Zhang Ziyi was the sexiest and also 
the most popular.
	Tony Leung Ka Fai was competing for Best Actor with COLD WAR 
(HONG JIN) against NIGHTFALL (DAI JUI BO)'s Nick Cheung Ka Fai and WHITE 
DEER PLAIN's Zhang Fengyi among others, but he was rather confident as he 
walked the red carpet with sunglasses.  Kenji Wu shook hands as he 
walked, while Chen Bo-Lin shook just one viewer's hand.
	Josie Ho Chiu Yi and famous Taiwan host Kevin Tsai appeared 
together.  She picked Leung Ka Fai to win Best Actor.  "In the past year 
many Chinese films left deep impressions, but I am very biased.  I 
especially like Leung Ka Fai, his ability is too amazing.  I hope he will 
be able to win Best Actor."  Chiu Yi wanted to make a movie in the coming 
year and hoped to play a mad character that would be unlike the DREAM 
HOME (WAI DOR LEI AH YUT HO) excessively oppressed type.  Baby competed 
for the most eye catching actress award.  She hoped to have a 
representative work.  Huayi Brothers chief Wang Zhonglei praised her 
youth and being suitable for any role.

* (2013/08/19) Recently an inspirational native Hong Kong film about 
street dancing, THE WAY WE DANCE (KONG MO PAI) has become the show 
business hot topic.  Many film professionals more than recommend this 
small budget production without any big production or big star, no one 
expected that the always early to bed and early to rise Best Actor Chow 
Yun Fat two nights ago was drawn to the movies at night.  He even ran 
into the director Adam Wong Sau Ping and the cast, who came to the 
cinema for audience appreciation.  When they saw Fat Gor's support, they 
were very touched and expressed.  Fat Gor praised the film for being 
excitedly made, lead actress Cherry Ngan Cheuk Ling's performance as 
natural and cute, and BabyJohn Choi Hong Yik who played Chut Leung as 
having quite a comedic sense and a great chance to become Stephen Chow 
Sing Chi's successor.
	The Wong Sau Ping directed inspirational Hong Kong film THE WAY 
WE DANCE took years to plan as it was unable to find funding for 
production.  After numerous difficulties it finally raised HK$5.3 million 
for its budget, but its release received the cold shoulder from cinema 
circuits with limited shows daily.  The film after 10 days in release 
only made 3.2 million as of two days ago.  However due to the film's 
good word of mouth, despite the fewer showings the admission rate was 
very high.  Even the Best Actor who has been busy with his new film FROM 
VEGAS TO MACAU (DOH SING FUNG WON), Chow Yun Fat, went to the show two 
nights ago.  Fat Gor in order to support this sincere Hong Kong film 
went to the movies despite being used to going to bed before 10PM.
	Fat Gor two nights ago around 9:30PM arrived at the movies.  When 
people saw him they excitedly fought for photos with him.  The friendly 
Fat Gor asked the people to line up then took photos with each and every 
one of them.  Because more and more people came, the employees could only 
first arrange for Fat Gor to be admitted.  After watching the film, Fat 
Gor left with friends and at the door ran into Wong Sau Ping and the cast 
who were there for audience appreciation.  They never thought Fat Gor 
would come to support the film and thus excitedly grabbed him for photos 
and introduced themselves.  Fat Gor after shaking Wong Sau Ping's hand 
said, "It's very entertaining, very sincere.  How much money did the film 
cost?"  Wong Sau Ping replied, "5.3 million."  Fat Gor heard and said, 
"It's not easy!  You all have a very tough time making it, keep working 
hard!"
	After that Fat Gor joked, "Normally I am in bed by 10PM, tonight 
in order to see this movie I deliberately took a nap before coming.  
However this movie is truly very entertaining, it's well worth me staying 
up and not sleeping to watch this movie.  The movie has no star, not much 
production budget, and only a group of new comers with little experience.  
Being able to achieve this quality now truly was not easy.  The female 
lead Ah Fa has a pretty sweet smile and is cute, her performance is 
natural.  Chut Leung has a great comedic sense, quite a style of his own 
when he played the comedy.  His performance was very outstanding and he 
has a great chance to be Sing Jai's successor.  The most shocking for me 
was one of the dancers.  The entire film is very inspirational and right 
for young people to watch.  Unfortunately the cinema showings are so 
few, I couldn't get tickets for the day time shows and I had to buy the 
10PM show in order to be able to watch it."
	When Chut Leung two nights ago arrived at the cinema, Fat Gor has 
already left.  As for Fat Gor saying that he has a chance to succeed Chow 
Sing Chi, Chut Leung was surprised and stuttered in awe.  Then he said, 
"Absolutely impossible (to be compared with Chow Sing Chi).  Fat Gor is 
my idol, I really like his acting.  This matter has two god class actors, 
Fat Gor and Sing Yeh.  Fat Gor's comment absolutely surprised me.  
Actually last night when I knew he was there to support the film, I 
immediately flew there to meet him.  Unfortunately I missed him.  Fat 
Gor's comment is a great encouragement to me, made me more confident with 
my comedic acting.  I dream of being able to work with him one day."
	Th film's investor Golden Scene boss Winnie yesterday said, 
"Although this film cost 5.3 million and the box office hasn't been 
considered great, it won all the word of mouth so it was considered 
somewhat comforting.  At first I met Wong Sau Ping in Taiwan and knew 
that he lacked funding to make this film, I promised to help him.  I 
never expected to them moved to tears.  So when I returned to Hong Kong I 
helped them borrow 2.12 million from the government.  Some of the rest 
came from me and Sun City.  These new directors are so sincere, the film 
industry should give them more support.  So now I am talking to the 
director about a sequel."

Special: Dance Tears Within Mad Laughter 
	The film THE WAY WE DANCE is about dance genius Ah Fa after 
joining a dance team at her university, including her crush on captain 
Dave and later a romance with the oddball Tai Chi Society president Chat 
Leung and created a special move against the reigning dance team 
Rooftoppers.  The film had many exciting scenes, with both drama and 
action, laughter and tears.
	The one that must be mentioned is the one that even Chow Yun Fat 
felt moved -- the monologue of Ah Fa about how much she liked to dance 
after her leg injury.  Afraid that she would never dance again she 
received the Rooftoppers boss Stormy's help when he exposed his scar as 
an encouragement and made Fa think about how far she could go for dance.  
Rooftoppers in the film opening's "roof cap grab" also had many highly 
difficult moves that were exciting.
	Aside from touching spots the film also had many comedy spots, 
especially when Chat Lung who in order to cheer the object of his 
desire Ah Fa kept playing nonsensical tricks to make her laugh, like a 
magic trick that turned mini toys into real food, and gave away Tai Chi 
memorabilia to hard sell his Tai Chi Society.  Although the comedy was 
older than dirt, Choi Hong Yik's performance had quite a comedic sense.

Biography: Performing Art Graduate Two Time Scholarship Winner
	Playing Chat Leung in THE WAY WE DANCE, BabyJohn Choi Hong Yik 
is 26.  A graduate of the Hong Kong Performing Art Academy performance 
departure, he twice received scholarships.  In 2010 due to a Tempo tissue 
commercial he won the Best Actor award at th Hong Kong Television 
Commercail Awards 2010.  In recent years Ann Hui On Wa chose him for a 
Bank of China television commercial and he caught attention.

Derek Yee: Very Touching
	Inspirational film THE WAY WE DANCE has started a hot topic, 
many business insiders praised the story as touching and a rare great 
film in recent years.  Earlier the film held its premiere, director Derek 
Yee Tung Sing also praised, "I think in recent years of watching Hong 
Kong films, this one has moved me the most.  This film is very hard to 
make.  This is Hong Kong film's new hope.  I just saw the premiere.  I 
think in the past five years, no premiere has ended with so many people 
applauding."
	Chapman To Man Jat after the premiere also gave foul mouthed 
compliments.  "X Crazy!  It's great, very touching.  In particular the 
lead actress performed very well, the director also shot well.  It is 
very inspirational, this is a very X amazing movie."  Ann Hui On Wa said, 
"I feel it is very innovative, I don't know about dancing but the 
dancing looks great.  The story is very touching."  Alan Tam Wing Lun 
posted online, "What a wonderful movie!  It's not simple at all!"

* (2013/08/19) Ella Koon Yun Na and Sammy Sum Chun Hin attended a Low 
Carbon 30 event two nights ago.  Sum Chun Hin lately has been busy with 
the FROM VGAS TO MACAU (DOH SING FUNG WON) production.  He played Chow 
Yun Fat's disciple and had many scenes with him.  He said, "Fat Gor is 
very friendly, loves to chat and take self photos.  He would also share 
with me his days at TVB.  He is the TVB elder, I am very happy to be able 
to work with him!"

* (2013/08/19) Edison Chen Koon Hei and his girlfriend Ann Hung Man On 
two nights ago attended a beer party.  Edison said that he did not know 
about the White Dragon King's passing.  "I believe many people will fly to 
visit his family.  I too respect the White Dragon King very much, I hope 
his family is fine."  As for what the White Dragon King advised him on, 
Edison said, "Not much, he told (Andrew) Lau Wai Keung and Mr. Lam (Peter 
Lam Kin Ngok).  I believe in myself more and I have never asked the White 
Dragon King about anything.  Every time I went was either from Mr. Lam 
taking the company public or Lau Wai Keung making INFERNAL AFFAIRS (MO 
GAN DOH)."
	Edison earlier had tea with Eric Tsang Chi Wai, seemingly with 
the intention to return to film.  He said, "Chi Wai has been very 
supportive of me over the years.  He invited me to a charity concert, we 
have always met for chats.  As for movies I will have to see if the 
schedule permits, lately I have had some impulse to make movies but I 
don't want to force anything."  Did Chi Wai bring any script to see him?  
Edison said, "I believe he has many different projects, we will 
definitely have the opportunity to work together.  He too knows I want 
to make movies, with a lot of subjects that I want to try.  However since 
I haven't performed on camera for a long time, for now I am still 
uncertain."

* (2013/08/19) "White Dragon King" Chow Yam Nam passed away, disciples 
Andrew Lau Wai Kung immediately flew to Thailand White Dragon King Temple 
to meet with the White Dragon King's widow.  He consoled her and assisted 
with the funeral arrangements.  Floral arrangements from show 
business insiders like Peter Lam Kin Ngok, Shu Qi, Wong Jing, Richie Jen 
(Yam Yin Chai) and others have already arrived.  Eric Tsang Chi Wai 
yesterday afternoon also rushed to console the widow.
	According to those presented, the White Dragon King's widow was 
tearful and emotional.  When she saw Chi Wai she was even more upset as 
they embraced in tears.  The White Dragon King in life rather loved Tony 
Leung Chiu Wai.  Yesterday when he returned to Hong Kong he heard the 
news.  Through his management company he said, "Thank you very much 
Master for your years of instruction, I wish a safe journey for Master 
and send my condolences to Madame and the family."

* (2013/08/18) The White Dragon King's illness has been fluctuating in 
recent years.  Yesterday morning the news of his passing came.  He was 
76.  He had numerous believers in show business like Tony Leung Chiu Wai, 
Shu Qi, Richie Jen (Yam Yin Chai), Media Asia boss Peter Lam Kin Ngok.  
Everyone were shocked and saddened.
	The White Dragon King's funeral will take place on September 1.  
Lam Kin Ngok immediately contacted Andrew Lau Wai Keung, who yesterday 
rushed to Thailand White Dragon King Temple to help out.  Shu Qi thanked 
the White Dragon King for over 10 years of teachings and knew that he 
would have safe journey.  Yam Yin Chai was sorrowful.  If time will 
permit he will go to Thailand to send the Master on his final journey.
	The White Dragon King had a big group of star and celebrity 
followers who often went to Thailand for his guidance.  He was rather 
fond of Leung Chiu Wai, treated him like a child as he would touch his 
chin and coax him, blessed him, cheered Wai Jai up and made him laugh.  
Wai Jai even dropped his cool guy image, knelt and crawled to participate 
in the ceremony.  The White Dragon King would give pummelos and cakes to 
believers.  When Lam Kin Ngok in 2002 started production on INFERNAL 
AFFAIRS (MO GAN DOH), he invited the White Dragon King to Hong Kong to 
choose a lucky day and location for the ceremony.  The Chinese title was 
also his idea.  Back then the film made over HK$50 million and won all 
the word of mouth.  Since then the White Dragon King has been responsible 
for the entire series' title.  Director Lau Wai Kung, actor Shawn Yue Man 
Lok thus made connections with the White Dragon King.  Lau Wai Keung even 
became his disciple.  Wong Jing has tried to bring a script for the White 
Dragon King to look over and see if it was viable.
	The White Dragon King's health has been poor in recent years.  In 
2010 he was rumored to be hospitalized in the Interactive Care Unit of a 
Bangkok hospital for pneumonia and then he even secretly came to Hong 
Kong for hospitalization.  At the time the cost reached over HK$2 
million and Lam Kin Ngok reportedly paid for it.  The White Dragon King 
recovered and returned, but his condition fluctuated.  Bronchitis 
bothered him for a long time and yesterday morning the condition 
deteriorated as he passed away at home at the age of 76.  The White 
Dragon King Temple's official site announced the news of his death last 
night, wished for his eternal rest.  When he passed his family was by his 
side.  His remain has been transported to the White Dragon King Temple.
	After the news of the White Dragon King's passing broke, many 
show business insiders were stunned.  Lau Wai Keung immediately left work 
and headed to Thailand.  The White Dragon King's disciple Liu revealed 
that the Temple starting from yesterday to August 31 will be open to 
the faithful to pay their respect.  The White Dragon King's funeral will 
take place on September 1.  After the funeral his remain will rest inside 
the Temple.
	Artists felt saddened to hear the passing of the White Dragon 
King.  Lam Kin Ngok said, "When the elderly passes away sadness is 
inevitable.  I have already contacted Lau Wai Keung.  Tonight he will 
head to Thailand to help out."  Lau Wai Keung said, "I am at the airport 
now to prepare to fly to Thailand and check out the situation at the 
Temple, then study what needs help with.  Wong Jing, (Nat) Chan Pak 
Cheung and I have gone to visit Master many times a year, our 
relationships are very close.  Master constantly talked about a lot with 
us.  The last time after making a movie in the U.S. I came back to see 
Master, he of course was OK.  Thus when I heard the news it felt very 
sudden, I am very heart broken and saddened."  Leung Chiu Wai just ended 
his U.S. promotion and was on a flight, thus no contact was made before 
the article deadline.
	Shu Qi remembered the White Dragon King on facebook.  "Thank you 
for over 10 years of teachings, I know you definitely will have a safe 
journey.  A good heart will have a good day, Rest In Peace!"  Shu Qi once 
asked the White Dragon King about romance, the White Dragon King told her 
not to think too much about love and take it naturally.  Yam Yin Chai 
last night performed a concert in Macau.  He was very saddened when he 
heard the news of Master's passing.  The crew at first did not dare to 
tell him.  He said, "Both the White Dragon King and I were born on Duen 
Ng Festival.  Earlier on Duen Ng Festival I took time off and flew to 
Thailand to see Master.  At the time he was very healthy.  He often 
taught me to be filial with my parents and treat people kindly.  Over the 
years I went to Thailand not for pray for anything, just to visit this 
elder.  I often worried that Master had to see so many disciples and he 
might be tired.  Every time I tried to shorten the time, after greeting 
for awhile I would leave.  Each time before leaving I would say to Master, 
'It must be hard on you, are you tired?'  He always kindly smiled and 
said, 'Not at all, of course I would be a little tired, but I am doing 
what I should do.'  The Master's passing made me very sad, we truly have 
to cherish friends and family.  If my schedule  will permit I will go to 
send Master on his final journey."
	Yue Man Lok began his relationship with the White Dragon King 
since INFERNAL AFFAIRS.  He said, "Over the years Master taught me a lot, 
he told me not to rush anything, to have patience.  He also told me to 
focus on film and thus I worked with boss Lam Kin Nogk.  Master helped m 
with a lot, I respect him very much."  Chan Pak Cheung and the White 
Dragon King have known each other for ten years.  "He was a wise elder.  
When I had difficulties he would be able to resolve them for me.  Early 
this year Master already told me not to attend weddings and funerals.  
Perhaps he already had a premonition."  Wong Jing was heartbroken.  He 
said, "Don't ask me about this, don't ask me about anything."
	Show Luo eulogized him, "Thank you for all the wise advice that 
you have given, I wish him joy everyday in Heaven."  Reportedly, Piggy 
once visited the White Dragon King at the low point of his career.  White 
Dragon King told him not to be in too much of a hurry.  When he saw him 
he was like Andy Lau Tak Wa in the past, his peak has not arrived yet.  
He would have major luck in the next 10 years and would spend his entire 
life in show business.

* (2013/08/18) The White Dragon King over the years received high 
recommendations from show business people.  Aside from their hope of 
receiving his personal blessing, he often would give a word or two of 
"advice" to the faithful.  Many artists were felt in awe and would follow 
as advised in hopes of smooth careers.
	Tony Leung Chiu Wai was one of the White Dragon King's favorites.  
The White Dragon King would touch his chin and his "gifts" of pummelo 
would be double.  Over 10 years ago Wai Jai went to visit the White 
Dragon King.  At the time he was advised against any building jump scene.  
He never expected that upon his return to Hong Kong he immediately was 
asked to do one.  He insisted against personally performing the stunt and 
finally the stunt double was truly injured.  Carina Lau Ka Ling went 
along with Wai Jai to visit, but each time the White Dragon King declined 
to see her due to "a lack of destiny".  Since then she no longer followed 
Wai Jai to visit him.
	In 2010 casino king Stanley Ho Hung Sun's third wife Ina Chan Un 
Chan and daughter Florinda Ho Chiu Wan visited the White Dragon King.  
Chiu Wan brought her father's pajamas with her, which the White Dragon 
King splashed holy water on.  He also wrote a charm and seal to improve 
the casino king's condition.
	In 2003 Leon Lai Ming with the INFERNAL AFFAIRS 3 (JUNG GIK MO 
GAN) film team to pray at the White Dragon King Temple in Thailand.  Lai 
Ming revealed that the White Dragon King advised him to be careful with 
women.  Lai Ming said at the time, "Women and love cannot be rejected.  
When they come they come, when they go they go.  When I think about 
women outside of work, I would remember this comment from the White 
Dragon King."  Last year Lai Ming and Gaile Lok's marriage of 4 years 
ended.
	Edison Chen Koon Hei in 2008 shocked the world with an artist 
nude photo scandal.  At the time he was in hiding but received his boss 
Peter Lam Kin Ngok's arrangement to first visit the White Dragon King 
before returning to Hong Kong.  At the time the White Dragon King said 
that Chen Koon Hei was only making a mistake because he was young.
	Nat Chan Pak Cheung has always claimed that the White Dragon King 
helped with his money and luck, thus he won horseracing bets many times.  
In 2007 the White Dragon King dropped candle wax on his arm and wanted 
Ah Lek to scrap the wax off.  In 2009, the White Dragon King burnt a 
charm in a golden goblet and asked Ah Lek to kneel while carrying the 
goblet with both arms.  He also knocked him in the head with a broom.
	Show Luo (Law Chi Cheung) in 2007 visited the White Dragon King.  
At the time the White Dragon King urged him to "avoid sex" in order to 
endure in fame like Andy Lau Tak Wa and Leung Chiu Wai.  Piggy often 
mentioned this but his rumors remained endless.  Earlier he even had an 
internet sex incident.
	"Compatriot" Alice Chan Wai admitted that she missed him very 
much.  "My family like his is from Chouzhou.  My parents get along 
famously with him.  The White Dragon King's wife would cook for us.  The 
White Dragon King is very nice and would use the faithfuls' donations to 
donate coffins to the dead who had no family or friend."  Anthony Wong 
Chau Sun remembered meeting the White Dragon King in Hong Kong.  "At the 
time one of us was going in and the other out (of the elevator).  He 
through his translator told me to be careful with my stomach, now my 
stomach really has problems."
	Taiwan artist Eddie Peng Yu-Yen, Natalie Meng Yao and Ng Chi 
Hung yesterday thanked the Master for guidance and teachings online.  
Peng Yu-Yen thanked the White Dragon King for helping him get over his 
low point.  "You were a kind elder, at my lowest you gave me direction."  
Tough guy Ng Chi Hung also expressed his sadness.  "Only one prson who 
changed my personality in the past 20 some years, my master the White 
Dragon King!"
	Meng Yao expressed her sorrow, "I received a horrible news!  My 
heart is beating!  My eyes are tearing up!  I hurt very much!"  Director 
Roy Chow Hin Yeung also praised the White Dragon King for his kindness.  
"This is today's heart breaking news.  He was a kind sage, everyone 
respected him.  Let's pray together in silence for Master."

* (2013/08/18) The White Dragon King is originally named Chow Yam Nam.  
A Chinese Thai whose family originated from Chouzhou.  His background had 
many different versions.  He was rumored to have been an appliance 
repairman, beverage vendor among other jobs.  Some said that at age 13 
he saw the White Dragon King apparition next to the Grand Supreme Elderly 
Lord.  Then at age 40 by chance he discovered that the White Dragon King 
could possess him, giving him premonition abilities to help the 
faithful with the fortune and avoid the misfortune.  Thus he decided to 
leave his original job, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the White 
Dragon King Temple outside Phattaya he told fortune and gave advice to 
the faithful.  The daily quota was only 100 people.
	Many of the rich are the White Dragon King's followers and often 
donated to the Temple.  Thus the White Dragon King Temple went from a 
rundown straw home to a grand temple.  The White Dragon King would touch

* (2013/08/18) Show business insiders aside from believing in the White 
Dragon King also believe in "the official Feng Shui master of the rich" 
Chan Long (Uncle Chan).  Uncle Chan's family originated from Sichuan.  
An avert Taoist, he discovered in childhood his special ability to 
understand metaphysics.   He and Albert Yeung Sau Sing were close 
friends.  Yeung Sau Sing even hired him to check out the Feng Shui in 
his Emperor Entertainment.
	When Nicholas Tse Ting Fung was entangled in a lawsuit, Roman Tam 
(Law Man) was ailing, Uncle Chan invited them to Qing Feng Shan in 
Chengdu, Sichuan to breathe spiritual Qi.  His god daughter Gigi Lai Chi, 
Joey Yung Cho Yi, Carina Lau Ka Ling all have received his advice.  Uncle 
Chan in 2003 came to Hong Kong to treat his pneumonia.  In the end he 
passed away from pulmonary emphysema and complications from renal failure 
at the age of 78.
	Uncle Chan on his death bed named his original wife's son Chan Ka 
Lung to inherit his craft.  Chan Ka Lung then became popular with show 
business people.  Lau Ka Ling was rumored to ask him to set up a Feng 
Shui scheme to end Tony Leung Chiu Wai's peach blossom (romantic luck).

buddy Dominic Ho Ho Man yesterday while promoting his film A SECRET 
BETWEEN US (DAI YUT CHI BUT SI NEI) supported him and criticized Yuri 
Chan Yui Yui (who was secretly seeing Avis for half a year) for taking 
advantage.  He said, "That relationship is already in the past, talking 
about it again she obviously she wants to speculate and take advantage.  I 
don't know that Avis is dating Yumi (Wan Chun Hei), but the Avis I know 
is very naive and easily trusts people.  He absolutely isn't the playboy

	Jacqueline Chong Si Man admitted that she has paid attention to

first film.  In it they had two bed scenes, which were rather 
challenging.  Chiang Ka Man said, "I admired him very much, friends say  
that we are very well matched.  However privately I feel that he is more

* (2013/08/18) Petrina Fung Bo Bo and Michael Lai Siu Tin yesterday 
attended the Hong Kong Film Archive's MERRY GO MOVIES -- STAR KIDS forum 
and shared their experience with the audience.  Fung Bo Bo recalled that 
when she was a child star, she was good friends with fellow Seven 
Princesses Josephine Siao Fong Fong, Connie Chan Bo Chu, and Wong Oi 
Ming.  When she made TALENTD CHILDREN GETTING ROBBERS (SUN TUNG KUM HUNG 
GEI) she fell for Michael Lai Siu Tin; Fung Bo Bo joked, "Lai Siu Tin at 
the time had an Elvis cut and was very cool, he looked like a Big 
Brother.  He was my first love at age 6."  Lai Siu Tin immediately 
replied, "In the movies I often rescued Bo Bo, the hero rescued the 
beauty."
	Fung Bo Bo pointed out that her father Fung Fung also 
participated in TALENTED, unfortunately later his facial paralysis due to 
illness forced him to play villains.  She said, "In the past looks were 
very important for actors, unlike now the uglier you are the more you 
can play the lead."  Lai Siu Tin felt that modern actors' acting is more 
introverted.  "Many villains are kindhearted, like Shing Fui On."  Fung 
Bo Bo pointed out that acting used to rely on talent.  Only in recent 
years she learned to use a computer for editing.

* (2013/08/17) The Adam Wong Sau Ping directed film THE WAY WE DANCE 
(KONG MO PAI)'s subject is dance.  It used new actors Cherry Ngan Cheuk 
Ling and BabyJojhn Choi Hong Yik and a group of top Hong Kong dancers, 
it even merged elements like street dance and Tai Chi to bring out the 
chase for your own dream in the dance scene.
	Director Wong Sau Ping admitted that he made dance the subject 
because by chance he saw a phenomenon and was determined to write a 
dance script.  He said, "My partner and I never have a stable place to 
talk about work.  Later we found the Polytechnic Institute to be a good 
place.  One night, we saw a group of dances dancing outside a 7 Eleven.  
Dancing there were not just Polytechnic students but also people on the 
streets.  Later I found out that even some foreign dancers came to Hong 
Kong they would pay a pilgrimage there."
	When he talked with a group of dancers, actually he discovered 
the school was oppressing the dance society.  They could not apply for a 
regulation practice room to practice, so they chose a public place 
outside the school to dance.  As they persisted, they rose to fame 
there.  Wong Sau Ping said, "I felt this was great!  It had a lot of Hong 
Kong spirit, a type of surviving in the extreme spirit.  Even when not 
permitted to dance here, they found an empty space to dance.  As they 
danced and danced they brought life and growth to this place, which made 
me feel this matter was very romantic, very passionate.  Thus I felt I 
had to make a dance movie."
	Cherry and BabyJohn played leads for the first time.  The talented 
street dancing girl Cherry ran into Tai Chi guy BabyJohn and even 
received his unique Tai Chi skill to her, from which she was inspired to 
create new dance moves.  In reality, Cherry studied Chinese dance, social 
dance, Latin dance since she was little, but she admitted that playing 
this character had certain difficulties.  She said, "This film was about 
Hip Hop dance, in addition the choreographer and the director wanted me 
to dance some larger dance moves.  Thus I studied Hip Hop from the 
beginning, which was different from what I have learned before.  The 
hardest for me was to play dance, flinging the cap around like acrobats.  
Yet I didn't know how to at all.  At the time during the dance practice I 
kept dropping the cap and I was very frustrated."
	BabyJohn joked that when he was at the Performing Art Academy, 
he studied 12 lessons of Tai Chi class but only learned a little.  
However playing the Tai Chi guy character, he received the director's 
arrangement for a Tai Chi master to instruct him.  He said, "During the 
two months of learning period, I explored how I could perform some Tai 
Chi moves to make people feel that this was a Tai Chi society president 
character.  I relied on everyday observation of Master's movements and 
studied him."
	As for the film THE WAY WE DANCE's dream chasing message, Cherry 
and BabyJohn agreed that chasing dream was very important.  They both 
were inspired to continue to seek their dreams.  BabyJohn said, "I have 
always pursued the film actor dream.  This movie was only my start.  I 
once wrote an article for a newspaper, I cited, people are very 
interesting.  I feel like a door has been opened, which is similar to 
film.  After completion I just stood there, but I didn't know when the 
next film will be.  I also didn't if there was a next movie, but I 
wouldn't just wait.  I would train myself, I wouldn't feel since the 
dream started it meant it has ended.  I would continue to chase in this 
direction."
	Cherry said, "At first the dancers and I were both suspicious 
about this film, feeling would talking about dreams make people feel it 
was too preachy?  On the night THE WAY WE DANCE premiered at the Hong 
Kong International Film Festival, everyone was very excited and made me 
forget about all the worries before.  The screams were nonstop during 
the screenings.  This film made me realize something that I didn't dare 
to believe could actually come true."

* (2013/08/17) YOUNG AND DANGEROUS (GOO WAT JAI)'s Dior Cheng Yi Kin, 
Jordan Chan Siu Chun, Chin Kar Lok, Michael Tse Tin Wa and Jerry Lamb Hiu 
Fung finally united or their upcoming November Hong Kong Coliseum 
concert.  Two nights ago they recorded the theme song VANISHED TIME 
(SIU SUT DIK GUONG YUM).  The song title immediately recalled Ekin's 
FRIENDSHIP AGE lyrics, "Vanished time scattered in the wind......" Truly 
it brought back a lot of collective memory and had quite a sense of 
familiarity.

* (2013/08/17) DaDa Chan Jing last Thursday issued her "retirement" 
announcement online, pointing out that she was disillusioned, could not 
withstand the pressure and had emotional disorder.  Yet it happened so 
suddenly that even her manager Celia Sie Lim Chi was unable to contact 
her; after a week of waiting she still has not seen her.  Sie Lim Chi 
yesterday finally issued a final notice to her, limiting her to contact 
her before next Monday to explain and discuss how to handle the matter.  
otherwise she will be treated as "unwilling to resolve the matter" and 
Celia Sie will take legal action.  In other words, with more than 5 
years on her contract she would have to pay over HK$10 million 
"retirement fee".
	Yesterday evening Sie Lim Chi under the name of her Jasco Hong 
Kong Group and Jasco Entertainment issued a statement, which revealed 
some "retirement details" like since issuing her online retirement 
announcement she still has not communicated with the company except for 
a phone message that stated due to her condition and exhaustion from 
being on camera she asked for a complete stop to her jobs on August 9.  
With a note from the doctor she took sick days until September 1.  Yet 
DaDa said to the outside that she completely retired from the screen, 
why would she use a doctor's note to take time off with the company 
until September 1?  Perhaps she was laying down a chance to "return"?
	However Sie Lim Chi could not wait for her "sick days" to that 
day, she only hoped that DaDa would appear to resolve th matter.  If by 
next Monday she could not be contacted, she would be considered 
"unwilling to resolve the matter" and the company will take legal action.
	After DaDa's "retirement announcement", she called and cried to 
her management company colleague.  She said that she made a mistake and 
she was too willful.  Yet so far she still has not conversed with her 
manager Sie Lim Chi.  The day after the contact she appeared in person 
and claimed to be making additional shoots for Pang Ho Cheung's film.  
However she did not mention her company at all.  Later she even lost all 
contact.  Sie Lim Chi was busy with disarming all the bombs from DaDa's 
remaining and resolved jobs.
	Currently DaDa and her management company still had over 5 years 
on her contract.  From resigning from LAN KWAI FONG 3 (HEI OI YEH PO 3), 
advertising and some business performance that already paid down 
payment, as well as the film company's damage for in the next few years 
she might have to pay over HK$10 million "retirement fee".  If she did 
not have backstage support as rumored, the pressure in the future will 
be rather heavy.
	Because DaDa resigned from LAN KWAI FONG 3, her original role 
had to be pulled and the script had to be changed.  Director Wilson Chin 
Kwok Wai revealed that the new version of the script has been done.  
Three actors will join the cast.  They will include George Lam Chi 
Cheung's son Alex Lam Tak Shun.  In the film he and his female character 
also had passionate scenes, but Lam tak Shun's manager Sandy Lam San 
San's condition of "release" was they could not be too excessive.  As for 
the added female character she would not be a pseudo model, with sexy 
performance and a sense of freshness.  For now she could not be revealed.  
Actually DaDa's story was pulled, her husband in the film Gregory Wong 
Chung Hiu was also affected.  Chin Kwok Wai said that he would try to 
arrange for Wong Chung Hiu and DaDa's junior colleague to participate in 
the performance.  However the role naturally was lighter.  Chin Kwok 
Wai said, although this time he could not work with DaDa he still hoped 
that she would be able to appear soon and resolve her problem with her 
manager.

* (2013/08/17) Four artists who started as child stars, Petrina Fung Bo 
Bo, Tsui Siu Ming, Michael Lai Siu Tin and Shek Sau yesterday attended 
the Hong Kong Film Archive organized MERRY GO MOVIES STAR KIDS 
exhibition as opening ceremony guests.  They gathered on this rare 
occasion and even represented a child star era, sharing experience and 
were very happy.
	Fung Bo Bo who rarely performed on screen in recent years 
revealed that she will publish an autobiography to discuss her child star 
journey, but she will not start writing until March and will shoot with 
a preacher in Jerusalem.  She also had two films in negotiations.
	Speaking of Lau Kar Leung's widow Mary Jean Reimer (Yung Jing 
Jing) demanding Shaw to pay Master Lau's bonus to a foundation to help 
stunt people.  Fung Bo Bo said, "She has the support of nine major 
styles, would Shaw dare not give it?  In addition it helps stunt people.  
Every one of them have been injured.  Shaw has made so much money, it

the 45 year old Nick Cheung Ka Fai in the film UNBEATABLE (GIK JIN) faced 
the 31 year old Taiwan star Eddie Peng Yu-Yen.  He absolutely did not 
lose out with his shape, even when Peng Yu-Yen saw Ka Fai's strong and 
explosive muscles for the first time, he could not help but be in awe.  
He admired Ka Fai's determination very much.
	Both played Mixed Martial Arts fighters, Ka Fai was never afraid 
of the comparison and never had Peng Yu-Yen in his sights; he did not 
liked to be compared with others, he would only challenge himself.

C: I never worried about being pale in comparison, the biggest defeat as 
a human is comparison.  Living in the shadow of comparison are destined 
to be losers.  Despite in comparison with other fighters my body may not 
be the most perfect, I can show viewers a thin Cheung Ka Fai and turn 
into this type of body as well.  This is my real challenge.  I will 
always only challenge myself.  No one can beat the entire world, there is 
always someone better.  No matter how tall, how pretty, how talented you 
are, someone is definitely better than you.  Only you can challenge 
yourself.  This time I feel is pretty successful, I am able to give 
everyone a pleasant surprise and show them my sincerity.

R: Is UNBEATABLE the most difficult film in your careers?

P: Yes!  When I made JUMP! ASHIN, I thought it was the most difficult.  
Yet working on director (Dante) Lam Chiu Yin's film was even more 
difficult.  He was very vicious and squeezed us dry.  Brother Ka Fai has 
been acting for years, but he was still afraid when the director called 
his name.  However I wouldn't be scared off and dare not work with Lam 
Chiu Yin again.  When I work with him I can see a different me, spending 
two to three months to train is worth it; through training, looks, body 
shape and conditions are different from previous performance just like 
the character in the film.

C: Lam Chiu Yi and I have worked together 5 times, each time more 
difficult than the last.  Why did I still agree to perform?  Because we 
have a chemistry that is beyond suspicion.  Whether at work or the way 
we think, we have a very interesting feeling.  We don't say much, but 
our taste and vision are the same and mix very quickly.  When the 
director told me that he wanted to make a fighting film, when I heard 
fighting I already didn't want to make it.  I thought he was just all 
talk.  Yet one day he said that the production went into production.  As 
a partner I had no reason not to make it.  In addition I haven't made 
one before and I wanted to challenge myself too.  This time was my limit.  
Luckily I had Peng Yu-Yen to keep me company on such a tough road, we 
encouraged each other, supported each other, if I was the only one on 
the mission, I couldn't explain all the pain I had.  Who could relate?

R: Ka Fai, many people see you as the Hong Kong Film Award Best Actor 
favorite with UNBEATABLE.  Do you want to win again?

C: I want to win, when I win of course I would be happy.  If I don't 
win I wouldn't be disappointed and envy others, like when NIGHTFALL (DAI 
JUI BO) didn't win an award I wasn't down.  Because I was always in the 
wager, in gambling you can't win every bet.  As the saying goes as long 
as you bet you haven't lost yet.  I lost this year, I will bet again 
next year!  When I will lose again next year, I still have the year 
after and the year after that!

R: Peng Yu-Yen, is our struggle in the film like your real life 10 year 
struggle to have the result today?

P: More or less, in the film I played a rich kid.  Later because of my 
family I had to start as a laborer.  The struggle was very tough and 
the process was very similar.  Although in real life I wasn't a rich 
kid, I have been in the business for 10 years.  I started slowly but I 
also had trouble at work.  I had no job at a time and had to start over.  
Only in these few years did I have more performance opportunities.  When 
I made this film the experience was very deep, I especially liked 
inspirational films.  They could give me strength and hopefully be able 
to encourage fans and viewers.  In the face of a crisis we still had to 
bravely face it, only this way does being an actor have value.  Only by 
taking risks can you win, many people have the courage but dare not 
break through and challenge themselves.  They build a wall, but actually 
this wall collapses with just one push.  Behind it is your dream.  My 
personality is this type of adventure spirit.

* (2013/08/16) DaDa Chan Jing last week suddenly retired from film due to 
emotional disorder.  Due to her still six and a half year long contract 
with her manager Celia Sie Lim Chi, she also had a lot of work on her 
hand like the upcoming category III film release HARDCORE COMEDY (CHUNG 
HAU MEI)'s promotion and the soon to start production LAN KWAI FONG 3 
(HEI OI YEH PO 3).  The producer of both films Ng Kin Hung said that he 
had to plan anew.  HARDCORE first lost DaDa from its promotion, then two 
of its posters were banned for being excessive.  They had to be adjust 
time and after to pass inspection.
	Because HARDCORE is a category III film, its poster and 
promotional billing had to pass the film censors before they were 
released.  The poster that featured DaDa and Christine Kuo did not pass 
because Kelvin Kwan Chor Yiu had a dildo next to his face.  Finally the 
dildo had to be censored for approval.  Another poster had several sexy 
ladies in fetish clothing, one of whom had black tape on his chest.  The 
censors said that the tape was too small and the film company had to add 
a bar across her chest and increase the size of her underwear.  This 
poster alone was changed four times.  Both posters needed a month before 
they passed inspection.  One of the producers Chong Siu Wing yesterday 
said, "Hong Kong is always saying that it supports film, both film 
creators and idea need it to provide space.  Limited flexibility would 
not waste time and resources.  Chinese and foreign film inspection 
standards also differ."  

* (2013/08/16) Patrick Kong (Yip Lim Sum) excels in making realistic 
romantic films and has already saved up a group of viewers.  Next year 
will be his tenth year as a director.  He has always had a dream, to be 
able to make a serious film.  His new film A SECRET BETWEEN US (DAI YUT 
CHI BUT SI NEI) has Yip Lim Sum's realistic story about a love story with 
regret.  He even daringly uses new comers Edward Ma Chi Wai and Angel 
Chiang Ka Man for the leads.  Under the leadership of Yip Lim Sum, Ma Chi 
Wai admits, "At that moment I truly fell for Chiang Ka Man!"
	Yip Lim Sum since 2004's MY SWEETIE (TIM SI SI), then came 
MARRIAGE WITH A FOOL (DUK GA SI OI) and LOVE IS NOT ALL AROUND (SUP FUN 
OI) made all realistic romantic films.  This year Yip Lim Sum's new film 
A SECRET BETWEEN US differs from the past, as he uses blank slate 28 year 
old Edward Ma Chi Wai and the 23 year old Angel Chiang Ka Man for his 
leads.  In the story Chiang Ka Man plays Ah Bo, who at age 16 in order to 
save her ailing mother sells herself as an escort.  Ma Chi Wai plays her  
first love Ah Keung, who is unable to help her and can only accept and 
support her.
	Yip Lim Sum honestly says that he likes Ma Chi Wai and Chiang Ka 
Man for their refreshing ways.  "This story took seven or eight years to 
conceive, but I never had the time to mak it.  Some of the story was my 
own experience."  Yip Lim Sum said that with new comers the film would 
not have any box office pressure, any number would be a record.  With big 
stars' past performance, the pressure instead is even greater.  He says, 
"Now I am starting to get older, I have to think about whether I need to 
provide new faces to viewers and do more for the industry.  When I worked 
with (Chrissie) Chau Sau Na and Law Chung Him, they just started.  Now I 
see that they are great."
	Yip Lim Sum said that this time he also spent some time on 
auditions.  "They were very cute, they weren't candidates who took the 
most initiative.  They didn't really want the jobs, which was what I 
liked instead.  They are very similar to the leads in the story; both 
are very grass root and without any scheme."  He even praises Chiang Ka 
Man's high acting talent.  Playing from age 16 to 26 is very hard.  Ma 
Chi Wai is a very hard working person, arriving earlir at the set when 
make up and production to prepare.
	Yip Lim Sum has always paid attention to film songs.  This time 
he chooses Dior Cheng Yi Kin's LOVE AGE to be the end credit song.  He 
says, "This son is very important to the film, this time I even pay mor 
than making a new song for this song's rights.  When I showed the film to 
boss Brother Jing (Wong Jing), I said to him if the song was truly too 
expensive I could chip in.  Brother Jing immediately said that he really 
liked this film and said that the song was a gift to me.  Everything came 
to a perfect end."
	Rookie Ma Chi Wai in the film has a kiss scene with Chiang Ka 
Man.  He jokes, "It wasn't embarrassing, before the shoot the director 
gabbed the two of the us to chat.  When he left, Angel said to me that 
she was very scared.  I even told her not to be.  As the guy I couldn't 
be afraid.  Then it was completed successfully."  Yip Lim Sum says, 
"In the ending scene I saw that they had real emotions, you couldn't fool 
people with that look.  Perhaps coincidentally the shoot was nearing 
wrap, representing that they will soon part.  Ah Keung and Ah Bo's 
relationship had to come to an end, as their acting and reality were 
mixed together."

	Ma Chi Wai is a favorite in the advertising world.  With his 
handsome looks he has worked on advertising campaigns for Vita distilled 
water and McDonald's.  For his first contact with the film industry, he 
admits th pressure of course is enormous.  Previously he has never 
thought about playing the lead, as he felt like he won the lottery.  He 
said, "The most difficult is the ending reunion in Causeway Bay, I have 
to be separated from the female lead.  At the moment I felt like I truly 
loved her, fell for Chiang Ka Man and was very reluctant to see her go."
	Chiang Ka Man in the TVB situation series COME HOME LOVE plays a 
good girl who everyone is very familiar with, but on the big screen she 
plays the female lead for the first time and even breaks through with an 
escort.  She says, "When the Director informed me that I was the female 
lead, I was very scared.  It was like a dream.  However Edward was quite 
a gentleman.  For a intimate scene I was very nervous, he would pretend 
that he wasn't afraid in front of me and even comforted me."

* (2013/08/16) Film superstar Chow Yun Fat, artist Sammy Sum Chun Hin and 
director Wong Jing last night worked on the film FROM VEGAS TO MACAU 
(DOH SING FUNG WON) in a Tseung Kwan O hotel.  Fat Gor looked sharp in a 
trendy suit and leather shoes, and even had Fat Soh's personal support.  
No wonder in front of Winnie Lung Man Yi, Mainland star Michelle Hu Yan 
and other beauties, Fat Gor still maintained his composure.
	In the story Fat Gor used pressure points to make the beauties 
laugh and cry.  Fat Gor even demonstrated his comedic chops with a lot 
of strange expressions and gestures that left the crew holding their 
bellies from laughing.  Aside from humorous scenes, Fat Gor also had to 
run back and forth more than ten times on the set.  However he was not 
out of breath and he did not complain.  During his break, Fat Gor 
personally taught the lighting technician about lighting.
	Fat Gor in the film had many scenes with Nicholas Tse Ting Fung.  
He joked that Ting Fung deeply inherited his old man Patrick Tse Yin's 
genes.  He said, "Theirs are hereditary, Ting Fung is even more chok than 
Sei Gor!"  In addition, Fat Gor also praised his disciple Sum Chun Hin 
for having unlimited potential.  He even humbly said, "He has been around 
for a long time, he doesn't need me to teach him.  Honestly he should be 
the one who advises me!"  Sum Chun Hin and Leung Man Yi both were very 
excited to be able to work with their idol.  Sum Chun Hin said, "He 
shared with me his days at the television station, he is very friendly!"
	Wong Jing also said that Fat Gor's character was mainly comedic 
and had nothing to do with his previous God of Gamblers.  Annie Wu (Ng 
Sun Kwan) was also very honored to be able to work with Fat Gor 
earlier.

* (2013/08/16) Singer Ava Yu Kiu and artist Jacquelin Chong Si Man 
yesterday attended an event.  DaDa Chan Jing supposedly questioned Yu 
Kiu's qualification to be the LAN KWAI FONG 3 (HEI OI YEH PO 3) lead 
actress with her and was so upset that she retired.  Yu Kiu said, "First 
I don't have any influence, secondly I believe she wouldn't think like 
that!"  However she admitted that the story that originally belonged to 
DaDa fell to her, but she denied that she would replace her character.
	Jacqueline earlier was caught with director Patrick Kong (Yip Lim 
Sum) at the movies, but she insisted that they were good friends.

* (2013/08/16) Artist Susan Shaw Yam Yam earlier appeared on a Cable 
interview and discussed her opinion on her often collaborator DaDa Chan 
Jing's sudden retirement.  Sister Yam Yam revealed that when Chan Jing 
made TALES FROM THE DARK (MAI LEI YEH) she often said that she saw 
ghosts.  "I felt that she couldn't take it physically.  If I could find 
her, I would definitely yell at her for not cherishing (her 
opportunities)!"  Sister Yam Yam also sympathized with her manager Celia 
Sie Lim Chi.  If Chan Jing retires she would suffer the most.  However 
Sister Yam Yam denied that Chan Jing had a rich boyfriend.  "She was on 
the set everyday, when would she have time to meet and date guys!"

* (2013/08/16) A magazine yesterday said that Nick Cheung Ka Fai's 
depression returned when he made UNBEATABLE (GIK JIN) and thus he slept 
in separate rooms with his wife Esther Kwan Wing Ho.  Ka Fai denied the 
report.  "I couldn't be happier, the advanced screenings have already 
made over 1 million at the box office.  (Did you sleep in a separate room  
from his wife?)  Aside from making movies and when I took my daughter to 
Tokyo Disneyland, I sleep with my wife the rest of the time."  As for his 
friend Sandra Ng Kwan Yu's interest in making GOLDEN CHICKEN 3 (GUM GAI 
3).  Ka Fai said, "Since a buddy asks I have to, but I would wait until 
the script is out first.  My schedule is filled until November."
	On a radio interview, Ka Fai said that he was very happy about 
winning the Shanghai Film Festival Best Actor and praised his co-star 
Eddie Peng Yu-Yen's future as infinite.  "Before I knew him I thought 
he was very chok, after I got to know him I felt he was very optimistic.  
His future is infinite!"  
	When asked that next year's Hong Kong Film Award Best Actor 
battle will be between him, Andy Lau Tak Wa and Tony Leung Chiu Wai, did 
he feel he will win?  Ka Fai said, "Film is a group thing, every year 
the judging standard is different.  I won't think about stuff like that." 
	Earlier Dante Lam Chiu Yin said that if he asked him to play a 
homosexual he would be willing.  Ka Fai said, "I think I may not be able 
to accept making a gay film, of course I can't just outright say no.  I 
have to have directors and co-stars who I trust very much.  The result 
won't just be about aesthetic and can't be dirty."

* (2013/08/16) DaDa Chan Jing claimed to have emotional disorder and had 
to retire.  Earlier when she and William Chan Wai Ting were interviewed 
for the film HARDCORE COMEDY (CHUNG HAU MEI), she spoke openly.  Yet 
DaDa admitted that after winning Best Supporting Actress her pressure 
increased.  "I didn't start as an acting student, I don't have much 
experience.  Luckily everything went my way, because of one character I 
got a lot of opportunities.  However I will have to rely on my own hard 
work and lucky to endure."  She also said that she did not want to be 
typecast as a sexy star.  "Right now I discuss my film choices with my 
company.  When some characters are too similar to the ones before and 
don't have too much potential, I might take other genres first."
	Playing an otaku, William in the film danced the striptease and 
joked that viewers would be lucky enough to see his 4 pack abdominal 
muscles.  "At the time a dozen girls in bikinis came over to touch me, 
actually it was pretty rough on them, when they touched me I was already 
all sweat, and very tired."

* (2013/08/16) The Dante Lam Chiu Yin directed, Nick Cheung Ka Fai, 
Eddie Peng Yu-Yen and Crystal Lee Hing Hau starred film UNBEATABLE (GIK 
JIN) was released yesterday (August 15).  The film had many advanced 
screenings earlier and already had box office success, as it accumulated 
over 1 million (HK$1,059,366) to have the Hong Kong film highest grossing 
advanced screening box office.  Its opening day is expected to break HK$2 
million.
	Business insiders who have seen UNBEATABLE all praised it.  Jacky 
Cheung Hok Yau said, "The fight scenes are very exciting, but the film 
is also touching.  All of the actors performed very well, UNBEATABLE!"  
Daniel Wu (Ng Yin Cho) felt that in the film Siu Dan's performance was 
very moving and stole the spotlight from Cheung Ka Fai and Peng Yu-Yen.  
He almost cried as well.  Many said online that Cheung Ka Fai was the 
favorite to win Best Actor again with this film.

* (2013/08/16) Zhou Xun, Louis Koo Tin Lok, Sean Lau Ching Wan and Daniel 
Wu (Ng Yin Cho) two nights ago attended the film OVERHEARD 3 (SIT TING 
FUNG WON 3)'s wrap banquet.  Zhou Xun recently has been rumored to settle 
in Hong Kong in order to date Nicholas Tse Ting and even move into the 
same building.  Yet in another rumor she and Tony Leung Chiu Wai were 
seeing each other in secret, and she only dated Ting Fung to upset him.  
As a woman between two men in the rumor, Zhou Xun two nights ago was 
mentally prepared for questions at the celebration and even stressed that 
she did not come to or leave Hong Kong because of Tse Ting Fung or Leung 
Chiu Wai.
	Zhou Xun pointed out that she had a romance with Lau Ching Wan in 
OVERHEARD 3.  Reporters asked if her real life romance was with Tse Ting 
Fung?  She smiled and said, "I know you definitely would ask.  I will sum 
up everything.  I didn't come to Hong Kong because of Leung Chiu Wai but 
to make OVERHEARD 3.  Tomorrow I will leave Hong Kong, not because of 
escaping Ting Fung's rumor but to go back and properly prepare for my 
next television series RED SORGHUM."
	Was she living in the same building as Ting Fung?  Zhou Xun 
graciously admitted that and even said that they ran into each other.  
However they have not dined together.  Were they dating as rumored?  She 
said, "I just said it.  (You are friends?)  Right."  Would she and Ting 
Fung have any opportunity to develop?  She maintained her smile and 
replied, "I am done, thank you."
	Did she know that Ting Fung has already moved?  She said that she 
knew.  Did she know if he moved because of her according to rumors?  She

	Koo Tin Lok in the film OVERHEARD 3 had a romance with Michelle

little contact.  This time only Ng Yin Cho and I are responsible for

	Goo Jai has been working on location for OVERHEARD 3 for days

* (2013/08/16) Director Tsui Hark yesterday along with actors Angelababy, 
Kim Bum, Mark Chao (Chiu Yau Ting) and Feng Shaofeng attended the YOUNG 
DETECTIVE DEE: RISE OF THE SEA DRAGON (DIK YUN KIT ji SUN DOH LUNG WONG) 
press conference.  Baby in the film played the Peerless Courtesan, and 
the men had nothing but praise for the Courtesan's beauty.  Chiu Yau Ting 
pointed out that Baby's Courtesan awed the crowd as soon as she appeared; 
Feng Shaofeng joked that the Courtesan's charm came from her scent as her 
mysterious lured everyone in.  Everyone was curious what brand of perfume 
Baby used.  Baby joked, "The scent from the barbecue lingered on me, the 
charm of food attracted everyone!"  Baby pointed out that although the 
Courtesan costume was pretty, the head dress and the costume were very 
heavy.  When she walked with it she had to be careful, otherwise she 
would easily fall over.

* (2013/08/15) Sandra Ng Kwan Yu celebrated her 48th birthday early this 
month.  Reportedly Peter Chan Ho Sun for her birthday promised to make 
GOLDEN CHICKEN 3 (GUM GAI 3) as a birthday present.  The film will start 
production in November.  Aside from Kwan Yu, friends like Louis Koo Tin 
Lok, Nick Cheung Ka Fai and Michelle Chen will perform.  The film will 
be divided into three parts, through prostitute Ah Gum's adventures the 
story of Hong Kong will be told.  Goo Jai and Ka Fai will play clients.  
Michelle Chen will erase her YOU ARE THE APPLE OF MY EYE innocent school 
girl image complete and play Ah Gum's fellow prostitute as a big 
breakthrough!
	Last year Kwan Yu played matchmaker to Goo Jai and Michelle but 
nothing came of it.  This time she again arranged for them to work 
together, was it a last chance that she would give them?  Kwan Yu 
yesterday said, "I haven't decided whether I would make it or not!  I 
will wait until the script will be done, I won't make it unless it will 
be good.  I don't have any pressure."  Goo Jai said, "We talked about it 
initially but not in detail, but if Kwan Yu asks me, I would help her 
with one of the stories if I have time on my schedule!"  As for Ka Fai he 
also admitted that Kwan Yu has already directly asked him.  He said, "She 
said that they were still thinking about my character.  Everyone has seen 
her GOLDEN CHICKEN and knows that it will have many friends as guest

* (2013/08/15) After IP MAN, Donnie Yen Chi Tan's new film SPECIAL ID 
(DUT SHU SUN FUN) unveiled both his costume and its poster.  In one 
scene Chi Tan fought on the streets in the rain at night.  However 
viewers thought that Chi Tan's scene resembled the one in the Wong Kar 
Wai directed THE GRANDMASTERS (YUT DOI JUNG SI), when Tony Leung Chiu as 
Ip Man battled several dozen people in the rain.  In this scene Chi Tan 
also had to fight several dozen people.  Although the eras were 
different, the photos looked very similar.

* (2013/08/15) The Wong Kar Wai directed THE GRANDMASTERS (YUT DOI JUNG 
SI) performed decently in Asian and finally landed in the U.S. at its 
first promotional stop in New York.  A premiere was held two days ago.  
Leads Tony Leung Chiu Wai and Zhang Ziyi along with director Wong Kar Wai 
attended.  Oscar Best Actress Susan Sarandon, Hollywood star Samuel L. 
Jackson and Feng Xiaogang showed their support.  The Academy Award 
winning Best Actress Susan Sarandon gave high praises to Cannes Best 
Actor Leung Chiu Wai's portrayal of the Grand Master.
	THE GRANDMASTERS Iron Triangle of Wong Kar Wai, Leung Chiu Wai 
and Zhang Ziyi arrived in New York to begin the first stop of their U.S. 
promotional tour.  Later they will go to Chicago, Los Angeles, San 
Francisco and other locations to continue the promotion.
	At the premiere, aside from Mr. and Mrs. Wong Kar Wai, Leung Chiu 
Wai and Zhang Ziyi, DEAD MAN WALKING's Oscar Best Actress Susan Sarandon 
and famous Hollywood star Samuel L. Jackson showed their support.  Sam
Jackson said that he came because of his appreciation of director Wong 
Kar Wai.  Others included famous Mainland director Feng Xiaogang, famous 
fashion designers Vivienne Tam and Ann Sui.
	However Carina Lau Ka Ling's absence made people speculate 
whether Leung Chiu Wai's recent rumor with Zhou Xun has upset Mrs. Leung?  
Actually Ka Ling was at work and was unable to keep Wai Jai company.
	THE GRANDMASTERS received great word of mouth and ideal box 
office in Asia and caught just as much attention in the U.S.  Wong Kar 
Wai edited the film anew so it would be easier for foreigners to 
comprehend.  Wai Jai at the press conference revealed that the most 
memorable was working for 40 consecutive nights.  He said that in the end 
he only had bronchitis and was lucky not to have pneumonia.
	Zhang Ziyi appeared on GOOD MORNING AMERICA for a live 
interview.  She even admitted that a live program appearance required 
courage, luckily she was able to withstand the test.  Zhang Ziyi's 
English ability was made fun of before, thus she worked hard to learn 
English.  Now she is able to fluently respond on a live program, she 
truly is a new and improved "International Zhang".

* (2013/08/15) Nick Cheung Ka Fai, Eddie Peng Yu-Yen, Crystal Lee Hing 
Hau and director Dante Lam Chiu Yin worked together on the film 
UNBEATABLE (GIK JIN), which two nights ago premiered as the opening 
film of the Summer International Film Festival 2013.  The 10 year ago 
Lee Hing Hau pointed out that Brother Ka Fai took great care of her on 
the set, buying her drinks and food like a father.  Did she return the 
favor?  She humorously said, "If I saw Brother Ka Fai had a hard time 
with the shoot on the set, I would ask how he was doing."
	Ka Fai praised Hing Hau's performance as great, she was able to 
easily get into her crying scene.  He said, "We had a lot of spark during 
the shoot.  I am very happy that the film won the Shanghai Film Festival 
Best Actor and Best Actress, which were great encouragement."  Ka Fai 
said that earlier they had dinner to celebrate the awards, but lately 
they have been busy with the promotion and he did not have time to show 
Hing Hau around Hong Kong.  They could only chat during their ride.  Ka 
Fai also revealed that he will soon begin work on the film CHET DOH 
(CRIMSON ROAD) with Jacky Cheung Hok Yau, Shawn Yue Man Lok and a group 
of Korean stars.
	Getting buff for his role, Eddie Peng Yu-Yen said that after the 
shoot his body became very sensitive, as it easily got fat and retained 
water.  Thus he has been working out to stay in shape, but not as sharply 
as before.  He felt that this inspirational film was very suitable for 
male viewers while the ladies could watch the muscles.  Would he bring 
his girlfriend?  He said, "If I have a girlfriend I would bring her, but 
right now I am not dating."  Director Lam Chiu Yin also praised Peng 
Yu-Yen as young, invincible and very likable.  Peng Yu-Yen responded, "I 
will work hard."

* (2013/08/15) Wilson Chin Kwok Wai yesterday said that he has already 
removed DaDa Chan Jing's role from LAN KWAI FONG 3 (HEI PO YEH PO 3), 
which was around 1/4 of the film.  He also added new actors, but did not 
replace DaDa with Christine Ng Wing Mei as rumored.  He stressed that Ng 
Wing Mei's character was already in the film long ago.
	Reportedly Gregory Wong Chung Hiu and Whitney Hui Yik Ni would 
lose their roles completely due to the script change, and DaDa's junior 
colleague Mika Siu was also penalized and removed from the cast, he said, 
"No, Hui Yik Nei originally was just going to guest star one or two days.  
As for Mika Siu, we haven't made a decision yet because of the script 
change.  A lot of punitive matter had nothing to do with them."
	Was he able to get in contact with DaDa?  Chin Kwok Wai said, 
"No!  Her manager (Celia) Sie Lim Chi wasn't able to find her either, but 
today Sie Lim Chi will make an announcement."  He also pointed out that 
DaDa's sudden retirement announcement delayed the LAN 3 production start 
for a week.  The originally rent night spot and yacht could not be used 
in time.  Luckily Ng Wing Mei tried to make time in her schedule for the 
shoot.  As for DaDa's contract it was a company contract.  Reportedly 
the company will pursue damages, but as for how much was lost and the 
final decision reporters should ask the producer.

* (2013/08/15) Charlene Choi Cheuk Yin and Chapman To Man Jat in the film 
THE MIDAS TOUCH (CHIU CUP GAING LEI YUN) on and off screen were very 
chatty.  Actually Ah Jat revealed that he and Ah Sa became enemies 
before.  Back then Ah Sa was with Ronald Cheng Chung Kei.  Once Ah Jat 
and Cheng Chung Ki were plastered from drinking.  Ah Sa called to urge 
Cheng Chung Kei to go home.  Ah Jat grabbed the phone and yelled, "Bitch!  
You don't have to call, Cheng Chung Kei won't be coming home tonight!"  
Ah Sa thus hated Ah Jat and would pretend not to see him in the public.  
When Ah Jat signed with Emperor, she directly asked Mani Fok Man Hei why 
she would sign someone like this?  Ah Jat later became a Buddhist and 
became more forgiving, as he learned that rivalry were better resolved 
than made.  Once he and Ah Sa were on the same flight.  He apologized to 
her and was forgiven, they even became friends.
	In THE MIDAS TOUCH they both played managers.  Did they use guest 
star manager Fok Man Hei as a role model?  Ah Sa said that after years 
with Mani, she would unknowingly display her aura.  Ah Jat daringly 
criticized Mani's acting in the film as very rotten and asked her not to 
smile too much.  Yet she kept smiling and thus had many bad takes.  Ah 
Jat said that in reality Mani was not mean to artists but to employees.  
Once he returned to Emperor and heard Mani roaring at her subordinates in 
a room.  He remembered to praise Mani's might and ability to multitask.  
She not only had to manager over 30 artists but also deal with the 
outside.  Her phone just kept ringing nonstop.

1. APPLE DAILY, AUGUST 18 2013, ELECTRIC FILM ROAD
DADA CHAN WILLIAM CHAN'S INNOCENT LOVE HAS DRUGS

	DaDa Chan Jing suddenly announced her retirement, her earlier 
production HARDCORE COMEDY (CHUNG HAU MEI) was one of her "final" work.  
However earlier when she promoted the film, she still said that she 
wanted to try different characters.  William Chan Wai Ting even praised 
DaDa for her professionalism.  For the team, she never complained once 
about pulling her clothes down! - CHEUNG CHUN MING
	New film HARDCORE COMEDY will be released at the end of the 
month, but because DaDa retired from show business in the last minute 
the film promotion was messed up.  Before the retirement incident, she 
and her co-star Chan Wai Ting gave an interview.  At the time she already 
revealed that film production had pressure, but working with William was 
a memorable experience.
	HARDCORE COMEDY consisted of three stories.  Derek Kwok Chi Kin, 
James Yuen Sai Sun and Ng Kin Hung produced them.  William and DaDa 
starred in the one that Chong Siu Wing directed.  William played a drug 
dealer and DaDa a buyer.  They met during a drug deal, with weird and 
odd hardcore people and events that weaved a love story.

DaDa Obeys And Pulls Her Clothes Down
	Since it was called hardcore, everyone of course was the most 
concerned with DaDa and William's passionate intimate scenes?  
Unfortunately the answer was disappointing.  DaDa said, "Intimate scene?  
Actually no, we are very innocent!  Because the story took place in one 
night, we couldn't reach the intimate step."  Actually, originally the 
script had a "make out" scene.  Yet William changed it, did he mind 
kissing DaDa?  Or did he have baggage?  William joked, "No baggage!  I 
only was what was good for the film.  We discussed it and felt that the 
script wasn't right.  Finally it was changed into lip to forehead."  
	At first when she made HARDCORE COMEDY, DaDa still has not won 
the Hong Kong Film Award Best Supporting Actress yet.  Perhaps it was 
hindsight, William had endless praise for her.  Aside from being able to 
get into character in four days.  For the greater good, she even obeyed 
the director's request.  He joked, "DaDa is a very direct girl, for 
example when the director said to put down the clothes a little, she 
said, 'Oh, OK!' She coordinated very well."

Chan Wai Ting Dances The Striptease
	William on and off camera was not the usual otaku.  A week before 
the shoot he closed himself in at home and only relied on Mommy getting 
take out.  He never even left the room.  He said, "Earlier I worked in 
Hengdian for three months in costume, then I will have to go to the 
Mainland for series for four months.  I cherish the condition when I 
don't have to move very much."  William's otaku personality is rather 
close to his shy otaku character in the film.  In one of the scene he 
fantasized about a group of sexy ladies who were stripping on him.  The 
ladies' skin and hands were on every inch of his body.  He said that in 
order to play the lack of inhibition after eating the "drug mushroom", 
he had to dance a striptease.  He danced as he removed his clothing until 
he was down to his underwear.
	William said, "In the striptease scene I wore boxer trunks and 
danced.  It wasn't awkward, the girls were awkward.  They had to dance 
on me, kept grinding and touching my thighs.  What was awkward was the 
girls' hands were all wet and sweaty from the shoot.  I felt how rough 
it was for them.  I tried to open myself up and finish it in one take.  
Yet the entire song's duration was several minutes."  William admitted 
that the feeling of girls surrounding him was decent.  He joked, "I can 
tolerate the itch, my tolerance for itch isn't bad!"
	DaDa said that unfortunately she did not participate in the 
dance scene, but she also made suggestions to Chan Wai Ting.  DaDa said, 
"He is very fit, I gave him some oil to apply on his body.  Immediately 
its had more pretty dimensions." DaDa also said that she admired 
William for watching what he ate in order to stay in shape.  He said, "I 
can't, I keep looking for food the entire time.  He is well worth learning 
from, lately I am a little fatter."

2. MING PAO DAILY, AUGUST 18 2013, FILM WORDS
UNBEATABLE HAS DRAMA, ACTION AND GOOD ACTORS

	Since rising to fame with OPTION ZERO (G4 DUT GUNG) and BEAST 
COPS (YEH SAU YING GAING, Gordon Chan Ka Seung co-directed), Hong Kong 
director Dante Lam Chiu Wai has mad similar genres of films.  He was the 
most apt at police gun fights.  In recent years Nicholas Tse Ting Fung, 
Nick Cheung Ka Fai, Liu Kai Chi and others starred in THE BEAST STALKER 
(JING YUN) and THE STOOL PIGEON (SIN YUN) were critically and 
commercially representative work.  Lam Chiu Yin's new film UNBEATABLE 
(GIK JIN) also has fierce action and sharp fights, but it is no longer 
fire exchange between the opposite sides of the law, but pure punching and 
kicking Mixed Martial Arts.  The film proved that his in ring action was 
just as outstanding as fire fight, and also focused on drama that 
depicted humanity.  This film was selected to the Hong Kong Summer 
International Film Festival opening film, its opening box office has been 
decent.

Child Star Crystal Lee Is Likable
	Cheung Ka Fai in UNBEATABLE played a middle aged, down on his 
luck, over the hill Hong Kong fighter.  Taiwan hunk Eddie Peng Yu-Yen 
played a the son of a fallen Mainland nouveau riche.  Both were down and 
out when they met in a Macau gym and became master and disciple.  The 
old and the young actually were able to fight out a miracle, strictly 
speaking this type of "Rocky" legend belonged in contrived formula.  You 
can be picky about the drama dragging on and not coordinate with the 
fight finale.  Fortunately the director and the actors both have 
excellent display with both drama and action.  Its performance was much 
bettr than the big pile up but chaotic Lam Chiu Wai film THE VIRAL 
FACTOR (YIK JIN).
	The drama focused on Cheung Ka Fai's rundown Macau home.  He and 
the landlady mother and daughter developed an IN THE FACE OF DEMONLITION 
(NGAI LAU CHUN HIU) like real relationship amid hard times.  Mei Ting as 
the young Mainland divorcee who lost her mind earned sympathy, the true 
stand out was the Malaysia 10 year old child star Crystal Lee Hing Hau 
who played her daughter.  She in THE VIRAL FACTOR already had a vivid 
performance.  This time her role was heavier and even livelier and 
cuter.  No wonder she and Cheung Ka Fai both won the Shanghai Film 
Festival Best Actress and Best Actor awards.  She truly was loveable.

Rather Special Depiction of Macau
	The long master and disciple training scenes were also exciting 
and entertaining.  Peng Yu-Yen was strong yet tame as he went through his 
hellish training; Cheung Ka Fai not only acted greatly but also for the 
character became a "muscle man".  He indeed fully submerged into the role.  
Like his special gun knowledge in police films, this time the punching, 
kicking and wrestling achieved a very strong and detailed realism.  
Realistic and fierce, the film was intense for viewers.  As for 
supporting roles, Andy Tien (On Chi Kit) played a fighter who fought with 
Peng Yu-Yen and Cheung Ka Fai.  Of course he was strong.  Keung Ho Man 
as the gym boss was direct and dramatic,  Taiwan's Jack Kao as the fast 
rising and falling father was average.
	I was reminded of 13 years old the Daniel Lee Yan Kong directed 
A FIGHTER'S BLUE (AH FU).  Andy Lau Tak Wa played an over the hill 
fighter who went to prison, ran to Thailand to establish a father and 
daughter relationship with his illegitimate daughter and returned to 
claim his glory.  Now Cheung Ka Fai's character is similar.  Overall, 
A FIGHTER'S BLUE with intensity mixed the drama and the action.  
UNBEATABLE was looser.  Fortunately both its dramatic and action scenes 
had their advantages.  The Macau scenery was also rather unique.

CHERRY NGAN BABYJOHN DANCES THE LOST ART

	This is a fill in the blank question, "For (blank), how far can 
you go?"  You can fill in th blank.  To two dream factory new comers 
Cherry Ngan Cheuk Ling and BabyJohn Choi Hong Yik, they truly could be 
very far.  When the former started they were already in love with film, 
since her opportunity has not arrived yet she could only wear the name of 
a pseudo model, making a killing of her career among the career line 
crowd; the latter focused on performing his first film well.  Under the 
stretched thin economy, he still turned down jobs.  The reality proved 
that no one was underappreciated.  The most important was to do your 
work and wait for luck to arrive.  When the time and the luck would 
arrive, it would depend on "how far can you go". - MAN KWOK CHUN

THE WAY WE DANCE: Now in Release

	"How far can you go" was the film THE WAY WE DANCE's promotional 
slogan.  The film did not have any big name actor, more accurately it had 
no star.  However it did not mean that the film did not have good actors.  
WAY earlier had decent word of mouth from the Hong Kong International 
Film Festival and advanced screenings.  With the alternative dance story, 
a hot blooded story was banged out.  Director Adam Wong Sau Ping's 
incomparable brave spirit put together the entire native production.  
The performance of a group of young people in it was natural and likable.   
Among them the most spotlight stealing aside from femal lead "Ah Fa" Ngan 
Cheuk Ling was the Tai Chi master "Chut Leung" Choi Hong Yik, who was eye 
opening.  Cherry has performed in films NIGHTFALL (DAI JUI BO) and TALES 
FROM THE DARK (MAI LEI YH) and has already left deep impression.  The 
writer also had many female friends who became interested in BabyJohn, 
conceivably his silly performance in the film attracted them.

Characters Steal All the Spotlight
	BabyJohn admitted that he never thought that his character would 
steal so much of the spotlight.  "Actually I never thought that the 
performance would turn out to be so explosive, because when we made it 
we never watched playback at all.  Director Wong Sau Ping after editing 
called me and said it was very explosive.  When I saw the film I felt it 
was pretty explosive, it was very different from me."  As for Cherry she 
felt Ah Fa still had shades of her as well as a framework.  "I hope in the 
future to be able to try even more different characters, but this time 
fulfilled two of my wishes at once -- lead actress and dancing because 
I have wanted to be a dancer since I was little.  This time also let me 
know how truly difficult making a movie was.  After the shoot I still like 
film, I definitely made the right choice."  How did Cherry feel about 
being the lead actress?  The 20 year old said that she waited for this 
opportunity for years.  "Everyday during the shoot spiritually I was 
already very tense.  Although at the time I was on summer vacation, 
the daily dance rehearsals and shooting from day to night were very 
rough.  Actually when I got into the business I hoped to make movies, 
only at the time the timing wasn't right.  At the same time after I got a 
bowl cut many people wanted me to model.  I only returned to film in the 
recent year or two."

Risking Their Lives To Move Up
	Last year the Hong Kong Film Critic Society Award Best Actress 
went to no on, speaking of the opportunity to move up Cherry humbly said, 
"I of course don't dare to think about it yet, ultimately I will take it 
slow. I am already very happy that more and more people recognize me, on 
one hand I have a movie to make, keeping on improving is already great."  
As for being called "Counterfeit Fiona Sit Hoi Kei" as soon as she 
appeared, Cherry admitted that she did not mind and even joked that Sit 
Hoi Kei was a beauty.  Sh would gladly accept this title as praise.
	BabyJohn also felt very fortunate that he had a lead role as a 
new comer.  He even admitted that he would "risk his life" to make it.  
"I at the time truly didn't think too much, I only focused on playing the 
character well.  I truly turned down work.  After the shot I had no plan 
and no job.  Without money I really can't live, so I am risking my life 
to make it.  I hope soon another film would ask me to work!"

BabyJohn Rapidly Becomes Tai Chi Grand Master
	Speaking of memorable parts of THE WAY WE DANCE, Ngan Cheuk Ling 
and BabyJohn immediately looked at each other and laughed.  They said 
that the most difficult part to perform was not the dancing but their 
kiss scene.  Cherry said, "It was super awkward.  At th time we were as 
familiar as we are now.  When I kissed him I stood stiffly.  Before hand 
we were fully prepared and had a mint."  BabyJohn also said, "I was 
actually popping mint like crazy, the director even deliberately gave 
us time to chat.  It got even more awkward!  After the shoot of course it 
was like a big weight has been lifted!"
	In addition, BabyJohn said that in th film practicing Tai Chi was 
also very hard.  "I studied it for threee months before, during the shoot 
I had a master teaching me.  Yet the most difficult was to reach the 
master level presence.  I was very nervous that I could not achieve what 
was asked for.  Luckily I passed."

[SPOILER] Tommy Guns, Dance Tyrant
	This is the living example of "How far can you go".  Playing 
the street dance team The Rooftoppers' captain in the film, Tommy Guns 
by the end of the film in order to encourage Ngan Cheuk Ling removed his 
prosthetic leg and still displayed his strong dance steps.  This scene 
deeply inspired people.  People thought that it was a special effect 
production.  Director Adam Wong Sau Ping joked that he did not have the 
financial abilities to handle that.  Tommy Guns' real experience touched 
him, so he especially added this scene into the script.
	Tommy Gun was a Chinese Vietnamese mixed heritage American who 
loved dancing since he was little, his expertise was breaking.  However 
at age 18, his right leg had a malignant tumor.  The doctor saved his 
leg but he could not dance anymore.  He with determination chose to 
remove his leg only to continue his dance life.  After the surgery he 
continued to train in dance with one leg and at the same time found the 
dance team Illability, which has toured Europe, America, Asia and other 
places and won countless awards and applause.  At the same time he often 
spoke on stage and shared his own experience to tell people not to give

  The young Dee Renjie arrives in the Imperial Capital, intent to become

  to find his father, run into each other in Macau and become master and

	Based on a true story, Duresori: The Voice of the East is shot in 
documentary style and tells the story of high school seniors Seul-ki and 
Ah-reum. Like other teenagers, they’re stressing over upcoming college 
entrance exams – and even more so when they’re forced to join the school 
choir in order to fill a remaining requirement. There, their unorthodox 
instructor blends the principles of classic Western music and traditional 
Korean song. Though at first they are reluctant to learn, they soon find 
a love for this exciting blend of music… and are forced to band together 
when the school cancels their annual summer concert. Will their music 
survive?
