* (2013/08/07) "Young Charmaine Sheh Si Man" Angel Chiang Ka Man 
yesterday along with "distilled water male model" Edward Ma Chi Wai 
attended an interview.  Earlier they worked on a film that had its share 
of "bed scenes".  Chiang Ka Man joked that Edward's stubbles scratched 
her face and chin.  New actor Edward admitted that when he worked on 
intimate scenes he was a little embarrassing and nervous.
	Were they worried about rumors?  Ka Man said, "No, I feel he has 
many girls on his tail."  Edward on the other hand revealed that when the 
production wrapped she felt that he has fallen for Ka Man, but 
immediately reminded himself that it was only acting and had to leave the 
character.

* (2013/08/07) Alan Tam Wing Lun yesterday said on a Commercial Radio 
program that now he would only make movies if the script was good enough 
to move him.  He joked that he has made too many insincere films.  In 
order to help friends he would make them without caring about the 
scripts, he even asked all his friends not to ask him to guest star.  
Speaking of him starting the Anita Mui Yim Fong memorial concert, Alan 
clarified that her foundation would be responsible.  If it happened it of 
course would be good, because it was Ah Mui's wish.  Alan also recalled 
that when Ah Mui competed he already admired her very much.  "That day I 
saw this girl who was very cute singing, although her teeth were weird.  
Back then she still hasn't fixed her teeth and it was her biggest flaw."  
Alan also said that Ah Mui reportedly was unhappy and attempted suicide.  
He took the initiative to talk to Ah Mui and thus became good friends.  
He also praised Ah Mui for her loyalty.

* (2013/08/07) The Fala Chen and Julian Cheung Chi Lam foretold TVB 
series TRIUMPH IN THE SKIES 2 (CHUNG SEUNG WON SIU II)'s super passionate 
intimate series was aired two nights ago.  Although the Hong Kong version 
was edited, the Mainland version was the full version.  Many online 
captured photos and videos that spread online like wild fire.  Many 
online thought that it was not as extreme as expected, as it was more 
daring conceptually.
	Fala in the upcoming film TALES FROM THE DARK 2 (KEI WAN YEH) had 
a daring performance.  She and Gordon Lam Ka Tung had a bed scene and an 
underwear scene.  Reportedly after her breakup, Fala took more and more 
risks.  Yesterday she replied about TVB editing her intimate scene, "All 
of it was performed according to the script.  France is a romantic place, 
so we have this romantic scene.  As an actor, what I care about is how 
to play this scene well and the performance.  During the shoot Cheung Chi 
Lam and I had great chemistry with the director and achieved the romantic 
feeling.  As for the edited scene, I respect TVB's decision on 
everything.  Every show after the shoot would have different versions, 
the priority is to coordinate with the story and what the atmosphere 
required."  Cheung Chi Lam two nights ago watched with his wife Anita 
Yuen Wing Yi.  Yuen Wing Yi watched the edited version.  Cheung Chi Lam 
joked that his wife's reaction was "That's it?"

* (2013/08/07) Julian Cheung Chi Lam earlier worked on the Mainland 3D 
science fiction film THE FOX LOVER (BAK WU) with Gillian Chung Yun Tung.  
The film will be released in late September and the trailer recently was 
released in the Mainland.  In one scene rich kid Cheung Chi Lam fell for 
the white fox fairy Ah Gil, Ah Gil even devoted herself to him.  On the 
screen Ah Gil was naked in front of a stunned Cheung Chi Lam, but a 
closer look revealed that Ah Gil should be smaller what was seen on the 
screen.  Was this scene a real performance or a double?
	Ah Gil's manager Mani Fok Man Hei yesterday said that Ah Gil has 
never made this scene so the person was not Ah Gil but a double.  Fok Man 
Hei also said that they never knew in advance that a double would shoot 
the scene for Ah Gil, because on their contract they stipulated that the 
film could not add double scene for Ah Gil without their knowledge.  
Since the film did not provide any protection to her artist, she would 
demand an explanation from the film company and handle the matter.

* (2013/08/07) Nicholas Tse Ting Fung recently was linked in rumors with 
Mainland actress Zhou Xun as well as fellow Best Actor Tony Leung Chiu 
Wai.  Ting Fung could not care less as he entered the Lunar New Year film 
production FROM VEGAS TO MACAU (DOH SING FUNG WON).  Yesterday Ting Fung 
often showed his smile on the set; when speaking of rumors, he said, "No 
comment!"  Chapman To Man Jat meanwhile looked forward to working with 
Chow Yun Fat next week in Macau.
	The Chow Yun Fat, Tse Ting Fung and To Man Jat starred Lunar New 
Year film FROM VEGAS TO MACAU recently began production.  For days they 
have been shooting in a Kwai Fong coffee shop.  The entire street has 
been on lock down as many looked on and took photos.  Key actors Ting 
Fung, Ah Jat, Hui Siu Hung and others arrived around 5PM.  Director Wong 
Jing and producer Andrew Lau Wai Kung were present.  Ah Jat came out of 
the trailer with a injured look.  When asked about the progress, Ah Jat 
said, "We have been at work for a few days, but we haven't seen Fat Gor 
yet.  We probably won't run into him until we will go to Macau next week.  
Because Ting Fung and I will go to Macau to become his disciples, we will 
have a lot of scenes together."  He joked that he would not need to ask 
Fat Gor for acting advice because he could not learn no matter what.  He 
has given up long ago.  Instead he wanted to study photography with him.  
Ah Jat revealed, "I believe the shoot will take around three months.  
Working with Ting Fung, he will be responsible for being cool.  I will be 
responsible for comedy.  Our posts will be different."
	After dark, Ting Fung appeared.  When asked about his recent 
rumors with Zhou Xun, he smiled and said, "No comment, I have nothing to 
say!"  Then he walked into the coffee shop and discussed the marks with 
the crew, pointing all over the place and looked very serious about the 
production.
	Around 7PM a car crash was shot.  The Hui Siu Hung driven taxi 
rammed straight into the coffee shop.  Although a double was driving, 
half a taxi went indoors and caused glass to shatter all over the ground.  
The onlookers were wowed.  Two nights ago at the same location, Ting Fung 
waited inside and had no expression at all.  Then former Hardpack drummer 
Kelvin Jai went to chat with him and Ting Fung finally opened up.
	Reportedly, in From Fat Gor and Hui Siu Hung were buddies since 
the 80s.  Hui Siu Hung after having Ting Fung did not have time to take 
care of him and handed him for Fat Gor to raise.  However Fat Gor only 
taught him how to pick up girls and never how to gamble.  Ting Fung and 
Ah Jat were as close as brothers, they went to learn about gambling from 
Fat Gor.
	Although Fat Gor has not begun work yet but in order to stay in 
his best shape he continued to exercise outside every morning.  Yesterday 
he took a walk in his neighborhood.  Nearby were many "student" driver 
cars.  Always friendly, he waved to drivers of every car and said good 
morning.  When asked about work, Fat Gor said, "Today I don't have to 
work!"

* (2013/08/07) Nick Cheung Ka Fai and Eddie Peng Yu-Yen worked together 
on the film UNBEATABLE (GIK JIN) and appreciated each other.  Their 
relationship was good.  Earlier after a funny "kiss scene", they also had 
chest touching photos.  They sang topless in fighter gears on a bench.  
Ka Fai had his right hand on Peng Yu-Yen's shoulder while his left 
pressed Peng Yu-Yen's left chest.  Peng Yu-Yen lowered his head and 
laughed in embarrassment.  Actually, the crew took the picture when they 
were joking around.  From another angle it reflected their relationships 
on and off camera.
	Peng Yu-Yen in the film had to fight for real.  His ear was so 
swollen that he could not sleep, and the next day he had to fight again.  
Peng Yu-Yen humorously said, "My ear actually isn't this big.  This shoot 
was very tough, every shot I had to take a dozen punches or so.  My nose, 
ears all started to swell, but it doesn't matter,  It's what an actor 
should do."

* (2013/08/07) The Angelababy Yeung Wing and boyfriend Huang Xiaoming 
starred film CRIMES OF PASSION yesterday held a press conference in 
Beijing.  Baby dressed up for the occasion but Big Brother Xiaoming did 
not attend.  Speaking of the film's Qixi Festival release, would baby 
watch the film with Xiaoming to celebrate?  She said, "I will have to 
work on the night of the Qixi Festival and spend it with friends in the 
media."  Would she regret that they could not spend the festival 
together?  She felt that they are still young now and have many 
opportunities.
	Baby in the film played a cop with a lot of emotional scenes.  
She admitted that the shoot was quite challenging mentally and 
physically.  "The entire process made me maintain tension exhausted 
emotions, which felt rather difficult."

* (2013/08/06) Early this year, 21 year old Chinese Canadian female 
student Elisa Lam's body was found in the water tank on the roof of a 
hotel.  Before her death she behaved strangely in an elevator.  Although 
the case has come to an nd, many questions remained.  Thought a Mainland 
director planned to make the supernatural incident into a film, first 
time director Nick Cheung Ka Fai in his new film MENG LAN SUN GUNG 
already asked lead actress Cathryn Lee Yuen Ling to reprise Elisa Lam's 
mysterious behavior in the elevator!
	In MENG, the Ka Fai's opera troupe leader father was hospitalized.   
When Ka Fai and his sister sent their father to the hospital, the sister 
was possessed in the hospital elevator and behaved strangely.  Ka Fai 
yesterday said, "When the screen writer and I talked about the story, 
we happened to see the Elisa Lam case.  I saw her elevator video footage 
and the first impression was horrified.  It felt like a ghost possession.  
Coincidentally my story had a scene in which my sister was possessed, so 
we immediately added in this element."  He admitted that he watched 
Elisa Lam's final elevator video many times.  "So far no one knows the 
truth, it really is worth exploring.  However just thinking of the video 
gives me chills!"
	Ka Fai worked with Lee Yuen Ling for the first time.  For effect 
Ka Fai asked her to watch Elisa Lam's elevator video first.  Lee Yuen 
Ling said, "As I watched I was stunned.  Ka Fai immediately performed it 
once for me.  He told me to imagine if I was possessed what I would say, 
like 'please don't bother me' and 'hurry up and go'.  Yet Ka Fai wanted 
me to just think about it or move my mouth like I wasn't able to talk."  
Lee Yuen Ling followed Elisa Lam exactly, going in and out of the 
elevator, often pressing the buttons and doing something strange.  Ka Fai 
in order to add the horror suddenly pulled away Lee Yuen Ling from the 
elevator door.  Finally she jumped with fright like a ghost was dragging 
her off.
	As for Lee Yuen Ling's performance, Ka Fai said, "It's pretty 
good, after the shoot she was a little lost and dazed."  He revealed that 
the film has already been completed.  Speaking of the religious Chinese 
opera subject, Ka Fai admitted that he had to pay attention to a lot of 
details.  Not only did they have to pray but also invite an elder to 
advise on the set.  "The elder said that very few people make movies 
about this subject.  For the Six States Installation fo Minister scene, 
we really had to watch out in some places.  In the end it was completed 
successfully."
	MENG was about the Lam Wai played religious Chinese opera troupe 
leader.  One year all the actors in the troupe suddenly died 
mysteriously.  Several years later supernatural events happened one after 
another to the troupe.  Actually this group of ghosts returned for 
revenge.  In the film Ka Fai and Lam Wai had a poor relationship, but Lam 
Wai always wanted Ka Fai's help to manage the troupe.  Finally he fell 
victim as well.  Annie Liu (Lau Sum Yau) played a diva.  The film will be 
released next year.
	Chung Ka Fai after returning from directing his ghost film MENG 
LAN SUN GUNG in Malaysia at the end of the year will work on COLD WAR 
(HONG JIN) directors Longman Leung Lok Man and Sunny Luk Kim Ching's new 
film CHET DOH (CRIMSON PATH) with Jacky Cheung Hok Yau, Shawn Yue Man 
Lok, Wang Xueqi and Janice Man Wing Shan.  The film recently added Korean 
group Super Junior member Choi Si-Won, who will play a South Korean 
cop.  He along with Intelligence Bureau chief Cheung Ka Fai and Yue Man 
Lok will investigate nuclear terrorists.  Yesterday he secretly came to 
Hong Kong for a costume fitting after his concert in Thailand.  After 
meeting with the directors in Hong Kong he will fly to Taipei for a show.

* (2013/08/06) Donnie Yen Chi Tan in recent years have been making 
movies nonstop.  He even formed his own film company, one of its projects 
would be the soon to start production Derek Kwok Chi Kin directed GAU 
LUNG SING JAI (KOWLOON WALLED CITY).  Earlier he and Kwok Chi Kin chatted 
in a Central restaurant, conceivably about the film.  He, Kwok Chi Kin 
and other friend talked for around two hours and left.

* (2013/08/06) Otaku goddess DaDa Chan Jing and singer William Chan Wai 
Ting appeared on a cable program and discussed the challenges of turning 
from an idol to an actor.  Chan Wai Ting revealed that singers had many 
film audition opportunities, but the chance of being selected was very 
low.  Later after chatting with a famous director he realized that 
actually many directors felt that singers had baggage and thus were 
rarely cast.  Chan Jing since winning the Hong Kong Film Award Best 
Supporting Actress had more opportunities and characters with potential.  
She was no longer just a "flower vase" that kept selling the "career 
line".

* (2013/08/06) Chow Yun Fat recently has been working on his new film 
FROM VEGAS TO MACAU (DOH SING FUNG WON, tentative title).  Although he 
has already started working two nights ago, yesterday he still took a 
morning jog for exercise to maintain his "God of Gamblers" shape.  
	Fat Gor has already secretly begun work on FROM VEGAS TO MACAU, 
although two nights ago he just finished his night shift, yesterday he 
still got up early for his morning walk and did not return to his Kowloon 
Tong home until noon.  

* (2013/08/06) Model Lisa S. and Daniel Wu (Ng Yin Cho) kept their 
daughter Raven from exposure for over two months.  Yesterday in the gift 
basket that they sent to the media were a box that was designed like a 
powdered milk can with cookies inside and a family photo.  Raven was 
rather unveiled.  Famous photographer Wing Shya (Ha Wing Hong) took the 
photo.  Shot on the day of Raven's second month anniversary of her birth, 
the photo had a lot of sentimental value.
	The can label said that Raven was born on May 30 in Hong Kong, 
made 100% with true love and described jokingly as an "852" original 
product.  When asked about the powdered milk can theme, Lisa said that

* (2013/08/06) The Chow Yun Fat, Nicholas Tse Ting Fung and Chapman To 
Man Jat starred Lunar New Year film FROM VEGAS TO MACAU (DOH SING FUNG 
WON) after announcing its production has caught attention.  The film is 
in production officially.  To Man Jat yesterday posted a recent photo to 
Instagram.  He sat inside a small bathroom and excitedly praised that 
the actors received "VIP" treatment.  To Man Jat said, "Big movies are 
truly big deals.  Hong Kong is so small, yet on location they still have 
trailers.  You can even take a shower inside."
	To Man Jat said that whether the production was big or small he 
would still do his best.  He preferred the joy of making a small film 
because he could improvise his lines.  "Jobs don't have rich or poor, 
film doesn't differentiate between the respected and the disrespected.  
The most important is making money sometimes and having a little fun 
sometimes, why not?  I will work on both big and small!"  In addition, 
a witness claimed to have seen Ting Fung and director Wong Jing at work 
in a restaurant.

* (2013/08/06) LAN KWAI FONG 2 (HEI OI YEH PO 2) and DUE WEST OUR SEX 
JOURNEY (YUT LO HEUNG SAI)'s sexy star Angelina Zhang (Cheung Woon Nga) 
recently had her past nude photos distributed online like mad.  She was 
greatly disturbed, as she swore to find out the source of the photos.  
Yesterday afternoon she returned To Hong Kong, and immediately went to 
the Kowloon City police station with her director husband Mark Wu Yiu 
Fai.  She angrily called the person who released the photos was "worse 
than an animal" and hoped that the police will find justice for her.  She 
will definitely investigate to the end.
	Cheung Woon Nga recently has been working in the Mainland.  
Yesterday she appeared in Hong Kong for the first time and immediately 
went to the police.  She and her husband Wu Yiu Fai arrived at the 
Kowloon City police station around 3:10PM with their lawyer.  "Today I 
come to report to the police about the person who has been distributing 
the photos with ill intent.  The person is worse than an animal, I hope 
the police can help me so they would have the punishment that they 
deserve.  (Any suspect?)  I won't say who, I believe the police will 
give me a fair response."
	Other people were rumored to have her photo.  Cheung Woon Nga 
was upset as she said, "Everyone has his own mouth and his freedom.  These 
photos were taken before I became an artist.  I never wanted to be 
publicize them and my original intent was not to put myself on display.  
My situation and emotions at the time were not taking the photos for 
everyone to fight over." She stressed, "The photos were not taken by a 
former boyfriend, I can be very certain when I tell everyone that the 
photos have no other man.  No one has the right to distribute my photos.  
Everyone will know the answer about everything, clearly and precisely.  
I have nothing to hide, in the end everyone will be very clear.  I am not 
worried about everyone knowing about everything that happened."
	Speaking of the contract termination with her former manager who 
said that he would demand compensation from the jobs that she took 
privately, Wu Yiu Fai said, "The matter is in the lawyer's hands, I too 
would consider suing him.  Today is mainly about the illegal 
distributions of the photos, no matter what I would support her."  Cheung 
Woon Nga revealed that she came to Hong Kong to pick up her work permit.  
How did she get one without a company?  She and Wu Yiu Fai did not 
answer.  Later Wu Yiu Fai said, "Tonight she still has other jobs.  We 
know it's been tough on everyone.  Let us talk to the police first, so we 
can prove who is the bad guy."  Cheung Woon Nga said about her former 
manager's comment that she was still in the mood to work.  She said, 
"It's because I am professional, I thank the clients for continuing to 
come to me.  I am very grateful.  Should I be crying on the stage 
instead?"  When asked about her secret marriage with Wu Yiu Fai, she said 
that she never thought about hiding it.  Her former manager knew that as

hope to find justice for myself."  She and Wu Yiu Fai both said, "We 
will definitely investigate until the end."
	Around 6:45PM, they wanted to avoid reporters through the police 
station back door.  They drove to Kowloon City and dropped off their 
lawyer.  Cheung Woon Nga lowered her head and avoided the cameras, then 
they drove straight to a Quarry Bay home.  A female assistant helped her 
with her luggage.  Around 9PM, she and her assistant left and said that 
she was returning to the Mainland for work.
	The police public relations department last night said that 
around 4PM a woman named Zhang filed a report at the Kowloon City Police 
Station, claiming that her indecent photos were stolen and posted online.  
The police classified the case as access to computer with dishonest 
intent.

* (2013/08/06) Louis Koo Tin Lok earlier attended the film INFERNO 3D 
(TOH CHOOK SUN TIN 3D) press conference and publicly admitted that she 
asked for Natalie Tong Wing Sze to play his on screen girlfriend.  They 
even had a kiss scene in the film reportedly because Goo Jai wanted to 
pursue Tong Wing Sze.
	Rumored to have been reunited with her repeatedly, Amigo Choi Kin 
Bong yesterday attended a Miss Hong Kong pageant event.  When asked about 
rumors Koo Tin Lok and Tong Wing Sze and that he even talked bad about 
Goo Jai, Choi Kin Bong at first looked angry.  "Are you serious?  Do you 
believe that?  I haven't paid attention to the reports.  (Why are you 
angry?)  I am not, why does work involve with love, work is work.  I know 
Goo Jai too, as far as I know he's not (after Tong Wing Sze)  (What is 
your relationship with Tong Wing Sze now?)  Good friends." 

* (2013/08/06) Zhou Xun was rumored to have been secretly seeing Nicholas 
Tse Ting Fung since the end of last year.  She even came to Hong Kong 
and moved into the Ting Fung's building for more time together, but both 
sides have denied any romance; however, yesterday a magazine claimed that 
Zhou Xun used her relationship with Ting Fung to upset Tony Leung Chiu 
Wai.  According to the magazine Wai Jai and Zhou Xun clicked after 
working on two films in a row, THE GREAT MAGICIAN (DAI MOR SHOOK SI) and 
THE SILENT WAR (TING FUNG JEH) and have been secretly together for 2 
years; recently Carina Lau Ka Ling became jealous and Wai Jai distanced 
himself from Zhou Xun.  It even described that Zhou Xun on the night of 
Wai Jai's birthday on June 27 cried to her good friend Shu Qi.
	Yesterday Wai Jai's management company Jet Tone had no comment 
about artist's persona life.  Coincidentally, Lau Ka Ling posted online, 
"Jealousy of another would not gain you anything or reduce the 
achievement of another.  Changing the environment isn't easy, but changing 
yourself is very simple.  Do you feel everything is as usual and lack 
new ideas?  When you go out try to take a new route, it is a simple yet 
interesting change!"  Perhaps she hinted that she was not a jealous 
woman and would not control her husband?
	The OVERHEARD 3 (SIT TING FUNG WON 3) team yesterday also 
clarified that Zhou Xun was not a guest star but the lead actress.  
Investor Bona Group chief Yu Dong said, "Zhou Xun absolutely is not 
guest starring but is the first female lead.  Aside from Zhou Xun, many 
surprises will appear in the cast and will definitely bring viewers many 
pleasant surprises."  The film company at first worried that Zhou Xun 
would not take the role.  Because she has to play a Hong Konger in the 
film she has to speak Cantonese, which to her was certainly challenging.  
However Zhou Xun quickly agreed to perform.  Thus she constantly wore 
headphones on the set.  She wanted to practice her Cantonese 
pronunciation.  Because the character was full legendary color and 
completely different from past Zhou Xun characters, it will be quite a 
challenge for her.
	Among the three lead actors, Louis Koo Tin Lok was the happiest.  
He described working with Zhou Xun as "when Yeung Gor meets Wong Yung".  
"Zhou Xun in past films have been in love with Ng Yin Cho (Daniel Wu) 
twice and played Lau Ching Wan's seventh mistress.  I only worked with 
her on a commercial and have looked forward to working with her on the 
big screen for a long time."

* (2013/08/06) Candy Law Lam and Kelvin Kwan Chor Yiu yesterday worked 
on the film OI.CHUM.MAI (LOVE.SEEK.MYSTERY) in Causeway Bay and director 
Chip Tsao (To Kit) revealed that in the film she would have a passionate 
bed scene.  For her first film Law Lam stated that she struggled alot 
over the daring performance and had to communicate with her three songs 
before taking the role.  Yet she has been so nervous and lost sleep 
because of the shoot.  On the set she had to drink red wine for courage.  
She also asked the set to be cleared, only after the end did she feel as 
if a weight has been lifted.  Law Lam said, "Kelvin's technique in bed is 
OK, he really knew how to help his co-star to get into character.  The 
scene was pretty passionate, but the bottom line was no nudity."
	Kelvin mentioned that in the film he and Law Lam had a lot of 
physical contact, in a hair washing scene he would come in contact with 
Law Lam's chest.  He would also display his chest and rear to seduce him.  
He said, "This might be Law Lam's first movie, but her figure, abilities 
and expressions were all real.  She was able to bring me into my role."

* (2013/08/06) Linah Matsuoka and Dominic Ho Ho Man earlier worked on the 
Patrick Kong (Yip Lim Sum) directed film THE BEST PLAN IS NO PLAN (KAU 
NUI BUT LEI 3 HING DAI).  When they worked on a kiss scene at Central, 
several men in black attacked them with cake and left her with cream all 
over her face and body.  Matsuoka was beyond recognition; although many 
people looked on, both actors performed professionally and were not 
affected at all.  They completely the kiss scene in one take.  Matsuoka 
was actually very excited and even wanted a photo with the director.  He 
said, "In real life I haven't had such an experience, so I thought it was 
very interesting.  The director even worried that I would mind and 
reminded me in advance, but I didn't mind at all."
	Yip Lim Sum pointed out that Matsuoka was a laughing lady who 
did not sweat the small stuff.  At first he was worried that she would 
not want to make the scene, but she agreed right away.

* (2013/08/06) Angelababy yesterday worked on a photo shoot for b+abX
Angelababy winter and fall line, the theme of which was the "Coming of 
Age" that bids farewell to adolescence.
	Baby recently has been busy with her film promotion.  She said 
that she was just like Superman.  "From January 2nd to mid July I only 
had a chance to take 10 days off.  Tomorrow I will have to continue to 
work in Beijing."  As for the couple casting in the film A SENTIMENTAL 
STORY with Huang Xiaoming, the film company deliberately edited their

attended their film HARDCORE COMEDY (CHUNG HAU MEI)'s advanced screening 
audience appreciation event.  They distributed "flavored" wet napkins and 
posters to the audience.  Pang Ho Cheung, Susan Shaw Yam Yam and others 
were at their film SDU SEX DUTIES UNIT (FEI FU CHOOK JING) audience 
appreciation next door.  Sister Yam Yam even came over.  DaDa was happy 
that HARDCORE COMEDY guest star Sister Yam Yam was able to make an

	DaDa revealed that later she will work with Director Pang on a

earlier attended their new film I SELL LOVE (FAN MAI OI) wrap banquet.  
Playing an assisted dating girl in the film, Rose stated that she had a 
"daring bed scene" with Uncle Chi and that she was nervous during the 
shoot.  Uncle Chi was surprised and clarified, "Rose mixed everything 
up.  We acted on the bed, the daring part was the dialogue.  She played 
an assisted dating girl, we had no physical contact and I didn't see 
anything."  Rose who bared her back for the shoot said that fortunately 
the director understood and cleared the set, so she was able to get in 
character easier.
	Pakho meanwhile complained that the director did not "benefit"

* (2013/08/04) Famous Cantonese Opera actor Yuen Siu Fai has been in the 
business for 60 years.  The Hong Kong Film Archive would screen his work 
in August and September.  Yesterday at the opening ceremony Brother Fai 
admitted that he got sentimental when he watched his work again.  "In the 
past a movie was released every week, I really didn't have much time to 
see if I performed well or not."  Brother Fai revealed that at the end of 
the year he will return to the stage three times to chronicle and look 
back at this 60th anniversary, but then h would start to reduce 
production.  "However I absolutely would not retire, because how much you

nights ago attended the Hong Kong dance film THE WAY WE DANCE (KONG MO 
PAI) premiere.  Ah Jat on a social network site supported teacher Lam Wai 
Sze's use of foul language to scold the police, feeling Teacher Lam is a 
rare hero in this age, a rarely seen good person in recent years. He 
felt that if the foul language was even more vulgar it was not malicious.  
When he used to attend a renowned school many teachers did not use foul

YUN) new immigrant character Ah Chan was so memorable that he has been 
"Ah Chan" for several decades.  Ah Chan yesterday appeared with his wife 
and son Liu Chun Yin.  Working on organic agriculture in the Mainland, Ah 
Chan announced his return to Hong Kong with numerous plans.  He and his 
friend Lai Man Cheuk will work together on a film FAI WOOT JUEN KEI.  Ah 
Chan Said, "The film will be about a group of Mainlanders' struggle in

called Brother Fai Woot.  I hope the production will start soon, in time

* (2013/08/04) Angelina Zhang (Cheung Woon Nga)'s nude photo scandal 
seems to have no end.  Cheung Woon Nga said that only she and her former 
manager Peter Chiu had her nude photos in their possession, but Peter 
struck back and claimed that Cheung Woon Nga's former boyfriend and 
close friend both had this series of photos.  Yesterday someone online 
claimed to have the hard disk with Cheung Woon Nga's past photos.  Anti

Katrina and Hannah all participated.  Wan Cheung said, "UTOPIANS will 
shoot in Hong Kong and Thailand.  It will be a story about a young couple 
and a mature couple.  The ending will be a happy ending; NAKED NATION 
will be a big production and very likely a Mainland co-production, 
through a family's on the road experience the film will tell recent major 
events in China.  Because both films will need a lot of people, we are 
holding a large scale audition to first give opportunities to Hong Kong 
before going to Taipei and Guangzhou later."
	Will UTOPIANS be a category III film?  Wan Cheung said, "It will 
be category III, actors should expect daring performance.  (Is the 
selection very difficult?)  It has been easier than imagined, because 
even when actors want to make the sacrifice for art, they don't have too 
many opportunities to.  This time surprisingly girls are more open than 
guys.  (Will full nudity be required?)  It is expected!  Aside from being

saw director Wang Cheung she immediately gave him her photo book.  Was

responded he struck back at Cheung Woon Nga for lying, saying that the 
photos have fallen into the hands of many "lead actors" and close

	Cheung Woon Nga yesterday had 17 of her all nude photos spread 
online, former management company Artist Group Entertainment two days ago 
filed a report with the police.  Yesterday Cheung Woon Nga finally broke

like Selena Li Si Wan.
	She explained that the photos were shot in her Shanghai home in 
2009 and has always been in her possession.  When she started in the

	Cheung Woon Nga's former manager Peter said that Cheung Woon Nga 
was lying and that her nude photo scale was just limited to those.  He 
issued 5 pre plastic surgery photos of hers that were online and said 
that soon after she started they spread around the internet like crazy.  
After some questioning she finally admitted that she took many nude 
photos.  For safety Cheung Woon Nga asked the company to keep the photos 
under its care for her, until May last year when the hard disk was 
returned to her.  He said, "The number of photos in the hard disk reached 
thousands, I have only looked at a hundred or so.  The other series of 
nude photos was even more exaggerated, she was with a man and she said 
that those photos were only copies.  The man definitely had some and her 
Shanghai boyfriend's personal computer had some as well.  However they 
broke up over money dispute.  At the time she told me that she worried 
about a close friend the most, because she has publicized some of the 
photos before."  Peter said that the matter broke his heart.  He was waiting for 
the lawyer's advice and would not take any action just yet.  He also said 
that if the police required assistance he absolutely would be glad to

	Cheung Woon Nga shut off her phone.  Her husband Wu Yiu Fai said 
through text message that he had no comment to Peter's comments, only

* (2013/08/03) The film INFERNO 3D (TOH CHOOK SUN TIN 3D) yesterday held 
a press conference, which arranged for fire on the ceiling to create a 
fiery effect.  Angelica Lee Sinjie covered the back of her neck with her 
hands and dodged, perhaps she was burnt.  She said, "It's just because 
it's very hot and I am thin skinned!"  Louis Koo Tin Lok said, "Today

* (2013/08/03) The film SDU SEX DUTIES UNIT (FEI FU CHOOK JING) after 7 
days in release reached HK$10 million at the box office.  Two nights ago a 
celebration was held.  Shawn Yue Man Lok, DaDa Chan Jing, Chapman To Man 
Jat, Susan Shaw Yam Yam and producer Pang Ho Cheung attended.  Sister Yam 
Yam fed Lok Jai abalone on the stage and Lok Jai gladly accepted it.  "I 
am very honored to eat Sister Yam Yam's abalone."  To Man Jat joked, 
"A dried abalone that has been in the collection for years is saved for 
you."  DaDa bit an abalone and fed it to To Man Jat.  After eating it he 
said, "It's so fresh and sweet!"
	DaDa who only guest starred in SDU joked that she came for the 
free meal and did not expect to feed To Man Jat abalone.  However this 
was their usual style and promotion so she did not mind.  DaDa said, "This 
is a great abalone.  I too wanted to try what it tasted like, it really

	SDU was a big hit but To Man Jat had no intention for a sequel.  
"VULGARIA was a hit and didn't have a sequel either, but we have to keep 
up with one crazy comedy a year."  As for his wife Krystal Tin Yui Nei in 
her new series will have kiss scenes with Roger Kwok Chun On, King Kong 
and Matt Yeung Ming.  To Man Jat was not jealous at all, "Great!  It 
balances out with everything I did before so I won't have to feel guilty.

* (2013/08/02) Donnie Yen Chi Tan recently has been working on YUT GOR 
YUN DIK MO LUM with Mainland actor Wang Baoqiang.  Two nights ago he shot 
at the Kwai Chung Pier number 8 with road blocks.
	Chi Tan appeared on location with several dozen workers.  On the 
left side of his face was a few scratches, obviously he was injured from 
a fight.  Aside from shooting on the side of the street, one of the lanes 
was blocked off for the shoot.  Although it was almost 9PM, many trucks 
were still in the area.  The road block caused a traffic jam.  Some 
drivers kept honking horns to express their displeasure.  With so much 
traffic, the production process was also hindered.
	Chi Tan mainly had upper body action.  Before places he very 
seriously tested the marks with his co-stars.  In one scene Chi Tan had 
to grab him and pull back.  He and his co-star took a lot of risks.  
Despite the fighting, the makeup team still often fixed Chi Tan's makeup.

* (2013/08/02) Director Roy Chow Hin Yeung after NIGHTFALL (DAI JUI BO) 
on the 20th will make an idol version WONG FEI HUNG JUEN, with Eddie Peng 
Yu-Yen as Wong Fei Hung, Wang Luodan as Aunt 13, Angelababy as a tragic 
woman who loved Wong Fei Hung and in the end killed by the villain.  Jing 
Boran will also have a part.  The entire film will be shot on a Hengdian 
set.
	Baby will not be the lead in this film.  In addition she and Peng

the spotlight.  In the story she runs into the Derek Tsang Kwok Cheung

a man.  Lam Siu Ha says, "When I first got Ah Pang's call, the first 
thing he asked was if I dared to cut my hair.  Of course I also had 
garter belt underwear bed scene.  I went back, thought about it over 
night and finally accepted this challenge.  The biggest consideration 
wasn't the sexy underwear, but the hair cut.  It's not like I am prettier 
than others, I also had to get a tomboy cut.  I really was afraid that no 
one would want me, but then I thought deeper.  The hair would grow back, 
but the character may not come again.  In addition I trusted Ah Cheung

daring she did not feel was a big deal.  "Because I didn't think too 
much.  I just like this character, a simple and kind girl.  In some 
places she is a little like me.  I liked it so I took it.  At first I 
hesitated when I was asked, but since I took it I had to perform it well.  
The shoot wasn't too awkward, because the most embarrassing moment was 
before the shoot.  I have never played similar characters before, a 
little conflict within was inevitable.  During the shoot the set was 
cleared, the live lighting atmosphere was great too, everything was very 
smooth."

* (2013/08/02) A part of TVB situation series COME HOME LOVE, Angel 
Chiang earlier stepped foot into the film industry for the first time and 
played a young rich wife.  Although it was Angel Chiang's first film, she 
already went all out with a bed scene with lead actor Edward Ma Chi Wai.
	Angel Chiang admitted that at first she was conflicted during the 
shoot, because that bed already exceeded her bottom line.  Yet she was 
able to thanks to director Patrick Kong (Yip Lim Sum)'s encouragement.

* (2013/08/02) Top Singapore star Mark Lee recently worked with Sandra Ng 
Kwan Yu on a new film.  When two comedy masters met, Lee Kwok Wong said 
that at first because they were not familiar he pretended to be mild 
mannered and elegant.  After three or four days, their "true faces" came 
out.  They started to talk about everything, especially parenthood.  
"Kwan Yu is really professional, doing all her homework on everything.  
She not only memorized the script but also thoroughly digested the 
content.  During the shoot she would often remind everyone."
	Lee Kwok Wong's social comedy TAXI! TAXI! will be released on 
July 28th.  In the film he plays a microbiology doctor who after being 
fired becomes a taxi driver.  Lee Kwok Wong said that the character was 
rather similar to him.  He understood that doing his part was the most 
important and did not need to care too much about outside criticism.

* (2013/08/02) In the Angelababy starred film A SENTIMENTAL STORY she 
played a cop and personally performed dangerous stunts like car flips 
and explosions.  Angelababy recalled the gun fight scene shoot.  "When 
the shot went inside the car, the trigger spot was right by the ear.  
As soon as the car was started, it suddenly went off.  My ear rang, then 
for over ten minutes I couldn't hear anything.  It took awhile before it 
eased."
	Aside from gun fights, car chase and car flip scenes were also 
great physical challenges to Angelababy.  She said, "In several scenes 
our car was flipped, then we had to crawl out of it and ran on the 
highway in heels.  Everyday I was tired from all the running.  After 
work my assistant carried me back."

* (2013/08/02) The sexy star of LAN KWAI FONG 2 (HEI OI YEH PO 2), DUE 
WEST OUR SEX JOURNEY (YUT LO HEUNG SAI) Angelina Zhang (Cheung Woon Nga) 
is swept into a nude photo scandal, when someone uploaded her all nude 
"art" photos from 2009 to message boards for all to see. Cheung Woon Nga 
is in the Mainland and feels that the matter is related to her former 
manager Peter.  She states that she will return to Hong Kong and contact 
the police.
	Cheung Woon Nga's former manager Peter Chiu takes action first as 
he went to the police station yesterday morning then issued a statement 
to the press.  Yesterday Artist Group Entertainment issued a statement.  
"In regards to nude photos of this company's former artist Miss Cheung 
Woon Nga being spread online, this company has suffered damage to its 
reputation.  Due to the severity of the matter, this company today has 
already officially reported to the police station in hopes of police 
assistance in the investigation and find the truth as soon as possible."
	Artist Group Entertainment boss Peter Chiu revealed that the 
request for police assistance was in order to stop the nude photos from 
being spread further, hoped that the police will be able to find the 
source of the photos and brought the person to justice.  Because Miss 
Cheung has not yet returned to Hong Kong, as her former company it still 
contacted the police first to prevent the photo leak from getting out 
of control.  Peter said that he had no contact with Cheung Woon Nga, 
believing that she would personally contact the police once she returned 
to Hong Kong.
	As for AGE's relationship with Cheung Woon Nga, he said that the 
company finally decided to terminate their contract early.  The contract 
was officially ended two days ago (July 31); the company did not ask 
Cheung Woon Nga to make any compensation.  As for the company being 
rumored to be after the commission from jobs that she privately took, 
Peter said, "It's negotiable, but the company has to do its due 
diligence and answer to the company and co-workers.  This has already 
been handed over for lawyers to handle."
	The police public relations department confirmed that yesterday 
morning around 11AM a man with the last name Chiu went to the Yau Ma 
Tei police station and filed a report, claiming that he learned from 
newspapers that someone impersonated him and posted indecent photos of a 
woman online.  The case is not a felony and has been listed under a 
miscellaneous investigation.

* (2013/08/02) Felix Wong Yat Wa's daughter Adrian Wong Chi Ching and 
Alice B. yesterday attended a shopping center bubble event.  Chi Ching 
said about her father Wong Yat Wa being on the TVB black list, "I have 
heard friends talking about it, they asked me if I was involved."  She 
said that before she got into the business she was already accused of 
being a betrayer, but she believed that the other station would not be 
too petty.  "Daddy always says don't easily conclude that someone is an 
enemy in this business."  She was not worried about her career 
development, because other than television series, recently through an 
audition she took her first film role I SELL LOVE (FAN MAI OI).  She did

directed film OI.CHUM.MAI (LOVE.SEEK.MYSTERY).  After showing off her 
figure in a swimsuit, two nights ago she wore a black low cut dress at 
Central.  Mandy earlier revealed that her new film had many daring and 
passionate kiss scenes.  Two nights ago she and the handsome lead actor 
appeared at Central.  Before places they were hugging and tested their 
marks with smiles, seemingly the collaboration was pleasant and they 
were very familiar.  As the lead actress Mandy displayed her tempting 
career line and played a sexy rich wife on camera.  Off camera, she 
seriously watched her film playback and discussed the script with the 
director.  She was very professional.
	To Kit said, "The male lead is from Malaysia and grew up in

* (2013/08/02) TALES FROM THE DARK 2 (KEI WAN YEH) has a segment that is 
Gordon Chan Ka Seung directed.  Fala Chen and Gordon Lam Ka Tung gave 
their most daring performance.  In the film they played a couple that was 
living together.  Ka Tung's relationship with his ex made Fala intend on 
killing.  She cut Ka Tung's neck and then strangled him with her bare 
hands, the scene was extremely bloody.  Fala hesitated before taking the 
film.  Original writer Lillian Lee Bik Wa and the director both gave her 
the confidence to perform openly.  In the film Ka Tung after being killed 
was naked and placed inside a vacuum seal bag.  His mental pressure was 
also enormous.

* (2013/08/02) Nick Cheung Ka Fai and Eddie Peng Yu-Yen in the film 
UNBEATABLE (GIK JIN) played mixed martial art fighters.  Although Ka Fai 
trained when he made NIGHFALL (DAI JUI BO) and Peng Yu-Yen also has been 
exercising, yet this time they had to train like real fighters and both 
complained about how tough it was; Ka Fai even stated that this time was 
the last time.  He would never bulk up again for a movie, not even for 
HK$100 million.  He said, "My body really can't handle it."
	Recalling the training and the production process, Cheung Ka Fai 
and Peng Yu-Yen both had chills.  Ka Fai said, "This film was 20,000 
times tougher than NIGHTFALL.  NIGHTFALL had limited action, this film 
sold training, fighting and overcoming obstacles.  Everyday I had eggs, 
steamed chicken, no salt, grease, sugar, no carbohydrate.  I had no 
strength at all.  After more than 20 years of acting, I was never scared 
out of my wits and had a chill when the director said, 'Ka Fai take your 
mark'!"
	Peng Yu-Yen agreed and even praised Ka Fai as sharp.  In a few 
short months he got so much bigger.  He said, "When I was Brother Ka Fai 
topless, his chest was ready to explode.  It was very exaggerated, and I 
know it didn't come by easily."
	As soon as the film wrapped, they pigged out.  Peng Yu-Yen joked 
that everyday he brushed his teeth with ice cream and rinsed with milk 
shakes.  Ka Fai revealed that when they were shooting in Macau he already 
succumbed.  One night he went to "cheat" at a hot pot casserole shop in 
the middle of the night, ordered a plain soup base and two bowls of beef.  
h said, "If in the middle of the night a calf walked by, I would have 
inhaled it."  Has he thought about quitting during the shoot?  Ka Fai 
said, "No, but halfway through the director said that he wanted to make 
UNBEATABLE 2.  I immediately said no and told him to find someone else.  
After making this movie, I was already invincible.  I dare to call myself 
a silver screen tough guy."
	Would Ka Fai make with his accidental kissing partner Peng Yu-Yen 
a gay film?  He shook his head and said, "I can't, I know I can't.  I 
can't be like Wai Jai and Cheung Kwok Wing.  If my sexual orientation was 
like that it would be a little better, otherwise the mental impact would 
be rather enormous."  Peng Yu-Yen on the other hand did not resist and 
said that being able to work with Best Actor Brother Ka Fai was his 
honor, he was only afraid that he would not perform well.

* (2013/08/01) The TVB series TRIUMPH IN THE SKIES 2 (CHUNG SEUNG WON 
SIU II) since its release has reached the rating peak of 35 points 
(around 2.25 million viewers).  Due to the series popularity, TVB and 
Stephen Shiu Jr. both planned to make a film version.  The former hoped 
to star the original cast, while the latter would not only have Cool 
demon Julian Cheung Chi Lam and Brother Sam Francis Ng Chun Yu but also 
wanted to add Chinese and Hong Kong hunks Huang Xiaoming and Louis Koo Tin 
Lok as pilots.  The lead actresses will be Fiona Sit Hoi Ki and Ava Yu 
Kiu as flight attendants.  Since both sides wanted Chilam to be the 
lead, Chilam said that it would be the best for both sides to work 
together.
	Stephen Shiu Jr.'s China 3D digital entertainment company wanted 
to strike the iron while it is hot with the film version.  Months ago he 
already negotiated with the two leads in preparation for a production 
start early next year.  The production budget will be around 50 million 
RMB.  Aside from Chun Yu and Cheung Chi Lam, the film even planned to add 
film stars to the cast.  However the TVB production department was also 
interested in a film adaptation with the original cast.  If both movies 
proceed with production, Cheung Chi Lam and Ng Chun Yu will be in a tough 
spot because both sides will want them to perform.
	Yesterday Stephen Shiu Jr. was asked if he knew TVB had interest 
to make the film as well.  He said, "Several months ago when I talkd to 
Chilam and Chun Yu about this movie, actually I heard that TVB seemed to 
have the intention to make a film version.  If you ask me I definitely 
don't want any clash!  If TVB doesn't mind, I would very gladly work 
with TVB on this movie.  Then the actors wouldn't have to worry about 
disappointing anyone, turning down either side wouldn't be good."
	If TVB insisted on making the film itself, was Stephen Shiu Jr. 
worried that TVB would not sell the rights to him?  He said, "I of course 
don't want everyone to make their own, but if TVB insists on making it 
themselvs, we can only work on ours.  Actually the title has no 
copyright.  As long as my movie won't use TVB's story or character 
names then no copyright will be violated."  When asked aside from Chilam 
and Chun Yu, who else would he invite to perform?  He said, "Now the 
script isn't evnt out yet, wait until the script is out then the actors 
will be cast.  Koo Tin Lok and Huang Xiaoming are very suitable to play 
pilots.  I feel Sit Hoi Ki and Yu Kiu are pretty right to play flight 
attendants."  As for the director, Stephen Shiu Jr. wanted the BADGES OF 
FURY (BUT YI SUN TAM) director, veteran filmmaker Chui Bo Chu's son Wong 
Chi Ming.
	TVB production director Leung Ka Shu admitted the idea of a film 
version.  He said, "I have the ida to make a TRIUMPH IN THE SKIES 
movie because this series is so popular with viewers.  Yet if we make a 
film version, I hope to make it bigger.  The production budget may be 70 
or 80 million.  Before a big production the preparation has to be done 
fully.  In the end we have to wait for the company to give the green 
light.  If so, it will mostly be with the original team."
	Chilam was asked about the film clash.  Which one would he make?  
He joked, "Neither TVB nor Stephen Shiu Jr. has talked with me about 
this, but if both sides really want to make it I will have considered 
the script and the offers.  I feel everyone making one isn't too good.  
The best would be for both companies to work together, so the actors 
wouldn't be stuck between a rock and a hard place because my 
relationships with both sides are good."  He also suggested for the film 
version to add exciting elements like hijacking or air disaster.
	Chun Yu's manager Ms. Chen replied, "Chun Yu has had a very 
pleasant time with the cast and the crew.  If TVB really makes a movie, 
he absolutely is interested in helping out.  Actually before the series, 
Mr. Leung Ka Shu mentioned the chance of turning it into a movie.  At the 
time Chun Yu already expressed his support."  Myolie Wu Hung Yi did not 
know about the company's intention to make a film version, but yesterday 
she said, "As long as the company makes it, I of course will fully 
support it."  In addition, the episode two days ago had an average 
rating of 30 points (around 1.93 million viewers) and a peak of 32 points 
(aorund 2.05 million viewers).

* (2013/08/01) The Pang Ho Cheung produced, Chapman To Man Jat and Shawn 
Yue Man Lok starred category III film SDU: SX DUTIES UNIT (FEI FU CHOOK 
JING) after just a week in release already reached HK$10 million at the 
box office.  Its cast kept visiting cinemas for audience appreciation.
	Known as Uncle Tan, Matthew Chow Hoi Kwong attended and even 
posted on his blog that audience appreciation was tougher than making a 
movie.  Thus the film company's public relations personnel should 
provide ample services.  "Basically PR is responsible for 'service' at 
the event, but poor quality PR would only provide 'service' when asked.  
Passing PR would take the initiative and ask if 'service' is needed.  For 
example, professional PR wouldn't only realize to buy you food when you 
say you are 'hungry'.  Nor would they ask you, 'Are you hungry?  Do you 
want something to eat?'"
	Uncle Tan's comments led to a lot of retaliation from many film 
PR personnel.  They told him to bring his maid.  Someone on Hong Kong 
Film Blog even teased him for mixing together night clubs and film 
companies.  Someone even dug up his ample night club PR knowledge, 
because 15 years ago he already directed PR GIRLS with Angela Tong Ying 
Ying and Liz Kong Hei Man.  The article said, "Perhaps Mr. Chow Hoi Kwong 
can't forget his past work's concept, which then became this 'service' 
storm's instigator?"

* (2013/08/01) Angelina Zhang (Cheung Woon Ngai) two days ago suspected 
that her former management company released her nude photos and would 
contact the police. Yesterday her management company said, "The company 
has already issued a legal letter to Cheung Woon Ngai, accusing her of 
slander and going after HK$500,000 from jobs that she privately took from 
the company." The company also said that Cheung Woon Ngai once admitted 
taking over thousands of nude photos and as many as four to five people 
have them.
	Meanwhile, she was already revealed to be married to director Mark 
Wu Yiu Fai.  Cheung Woon Ngai intended to return to Hong Kong for a press 
conference in August.  Wu Yiu Fai who just returned from the Mainland

center ASTRO BOY television broadcast 50th anniversary event.  She said 
that she liked Astro Boy since she was little, she liked to watch this

the pressure is enormous, there would always be unhappy times.  Whenever 
I am unhappy I would draw.  Lately I drew a dozen or so.  (Are you very 
unhappy?)  The pressure is huge.  Earlier when I made I SELL LOVE (FAN 
MAI. OI) I had a very daring bed scene with Uncle Chi (Liu Kai Chi).  I 
had to show my back.  I felt a lot of pressure.  (Would it be better 
with someone younger?)  No, I worried that I wouldn't look pretty in it, 
the result would be poor."

* (2013/08/01) The 1989 film release ALL ABOUT AH LONG (AH LONG DIK GOO 
SI) was a box office and critical hit with over HK$30 million back then!  
24 years later, the "film industry iron triangle" of Chow Yun Fat, Sylvia 
Chang (Cheung Ngai Ga) and Johnnie To Kei Fung will reunite on the big 
screen for a film adaptation of the play DESIGN FOR LIVING (WA LAI SEUNG 
BAN JOOK ji SUN WOOT YU SUN CHUEN).  To Sir will direct, Chow Yun Fat and 
Cheung Ngai Ga will star.  Eason Chan Yik Shun and Tang Wei will also 
take part as the production will start at the end of September!
	Last year Cheung Ngai Ga revealed that DESIGN will be made into 
a film.  Later she turned the script over to To Kei Fung.  Wai Ka Wai 
became the screen writer.  At the time To Sir already planned for Cheung 
Ngai Ga to be the lead actress and Chow Yun Fat was a lock for the lead 
actor, as he swore to bring the ALL ABOUT AH LONG iron triangle back to 
the big screen after 24 years.  Back then Fat Gor with the film won the 
Hong Kong Film Award Best Actor, even the theme song PERHAPS UNEASY was 
heard on every corner.  Actually, Cheung Ngai Ga also suggested to To Sir 
to ask Fat Gor to perform.  Although they have not worked together for 
years, they stayed in touch.  When he received the invitation, Fat Gor 
agreed right away!
	Fat Gor is working on the film FROM VEGAS TO MACAU (DOH SING FUNG 
WON).  To Sir is busy with the Vic Chou Yu Man, Louis Koo Tin Lok and 
Miriam Yeung Chin Wa starred DON'T GO BREAKING MY HEART 2.  The soonest 
the new film will start production will be at the end of September.  
Aside from Fat Gor and Cheung Ngai Ga, Chan Yik Shun and Tang Wei will 
also perform.  Busy with his concerts, Eason and his good friend Nicholas 
Tse Ting Fung both have the chance to work with Fat Gor.  Eason's end of 
the year schedule will completely belong to the production as he planned 
to learn from Fat Gor.

* (2013/08/01) Although Nicholas Tse Ting Fung and Zhou Xun immediately 
put out the fire of a romantic rumor by stressing that they were just 
ordinary friends and neighbors and not living together, two nights ago 
Joey Yung Cho Yi and Charlene Choi Cheuk Yin both joked that Ting Fung 
loved girls with a Beijing accent and seemed to have given him a vote of 
no confidence despite Ting Fung moving into a new home in a high profile 
manner.  Zhou Xun actually stayed in Hong Kong recently to secretly make 
OVERHEARD 3 (SIT TING FUNG WON III).  Once saying that she had to rest

a new generation too!"  He revealed that he was busy with the YOUNG AND 
DANGEROUS concert preparation.  Although it was very hard to invite 
"Smartie" Gigi Lai Chi to return, he would already be very happy if she 
was willing to be in the audience.

* (2013/08/01) Eric Tsang Chi Wai took part in the Jay Chou (Chow Kit 
Lun) directed new film THE ROOFTOP and played a Chinese medicine clinic 
boss Lord Bo.  Chow Kit Lun wrote a song for him to perform, singing 39 
words in 10 seconds.  Chi Wai joked that it was quite a bother because 
Chow Kit Lun kept saying that he was "half a beat behind".  This time he 
did not accommodate him and loosen his demand on music.  Finally the 
recording took half a day to complete.  He felt that Chow Kit Lun was 
still not 100% satisfied with his performance.
	In the film he and Taiwan comedy artist "Na Dou" played father 
and son.  They did not resemble each other at all.  Actually Chi Wai's 
daughter Bowie Tsang Bo Yi pulled the string.  Once she made the 
suggestion to Chow Kit Lun on a flight, finally Chow Kit Lun during 
casting truly pulled them together for the collaboration.  Chi Wai joked 
that when he saw Na Dou, he felt that he had to go to Korea for plastic 
surgery and make himself uglier in order to match him.  THE ROOFTOP 
performed ideally at the Mainland box office.  As of two days ago it was 
heading toward 120 million RMB.

* (2013/08/01) Elanne Kong Yeuk Lam with the film THE WEDDING DIARY is 
nominated for a Chinese film association of Malaysia's Golden Wau Awards 
for Best Actress.  Her competition included ICE KACANG PUPPY LOVE's 
Angelica Lee Sinjie.  Kong Yeuk Lam did not expect to be nominated and 
felt that this year has been very lucky; after her first Hong Kong Film 
Award nomination, she was nominated again this time.  It was quite a shot 
of confidence into her performance career.
	She has seen Lee Sinjie's nominated film and admired her very 
much.  Facing strong competition, Kong Yeuk Lam kept a normal state of 
mind and was already satisfied with the nomination.  She also picked Lee 
to win.  Her on screen mother Wai Ying Hung was already nominated for 
Best Supporting Actress.  She wished that Sister Hung will win and the 
film will win many awards.

* (2013/08/01) Nick Cheung Ka Fai and Eddie Peng Yu-Yen in the film 
UNBEATABLE (GIK JIN) played master and disciple and grew to admire each 
other due to the film; Peng Yu-yen sometimes would call Ka Fai Master and 
would even be very mischievous.  In one scene they were training.  When 
they practiced close combat, they were tied up.  When they turned around 
their mouths were very close.  Peng Yu-Yen then took the chance to kiss 
Ka Fai on the cheek.  Even though Ka Fai dodged the sudden kiss, Peng 
Yu-Yen continued with his kisses.  Ka Fai revealed, "Peng Yu-Yen is very 
daring.  As soon as the cameras rolled he immediately gave a peck, which 
I thought was too much.  Then when he came again, he held him back with 
my arm and asked him what did he want to do?  He said nothing, I said 
you just kissed me!"

1. MING PAO DAILY, AUGUST 4 2013, FILM WORDS
THE ROOFTOP: OUTDATED STORY
	Jay Chou (Chow Kit Lun) writes, directs and stars in the large 
scale nostalgic musical THE ROOFTOP.  Returning to the 70's poverty 
stricken district of Taiwan, the film depicts several street kids who 
becom buddies.  They sing and dance on the street corners and alleys, 
Chinese medicine clinic, gang society and the film industry and show off 
their skills.  Lead actor Chow Kit Lun is an invincible kung fu hero who 
is even in love with pretty new female star Li Xinai.  This film can be 
said as the Taiwan musical version of Stephen Chow Sing Chi's KUNG FU 
HUSTLE and the Hong Kong nostalgic Lunar New Year film I LOVE HONG KONG 
(NGOR OI HK), with Hong Kong's Eric Tsang Chi Wai, Kenny Bee (Chung Chun 
To), Mainland's Xu Fan, Wang Xueqi and others in the cast.  The film is 
very cheerful.  The story however is outdated, the response is less than 
ideal and worse than Chow Kit Lun's first writing, directing and starring 
film THE SECRET (BUT NUNG SHUET DIK BEI MUK). (two out of five stars)

SECRETLY GREATLY: Drama For The Sake of Drama
	SECRETLY GREATLY is a Korean hit film that is based on a comic 
book.  Director Jang Cheol-Soo describes 3 young North Korean special 
agents who after receiving THE GUILLOTINES (HUET DIK JI) style training 
are sent to Seoul, South Korea.  Lead Kim Soo-Hyun plays a little poor 
area idiot, Park Ki-Woong a blond singer, and Lee Hyun-Woo a high school 
student.  They during their adolescence bitterly wait for their "noble" 
mission.  In the end they receive orders to commit suicide and they thus 
rebel.  This film coincidentally like THE ROOFT focuses on the nostalgic 
poor district neighborhood sentiments, but in the same way it is 
completely looking for drama for the sake of drama.  With both a lack of 
comedy and stimulation, the film's action is exaggerated and not 
exciting.  (two out of five stars) - SHEK KEI

2. APPLE DAILY, AUGUST 2 2013, TALK 24
DISAGREE WITH TAKING MONTHS AND EVEN YEARS TO MAKE A MOVIE
FAT LAI: WONG KAR WAI IS SELFISH

	Good and evil are always hard to differentiate, commercial films 
and art films are the same.  Due to first impression, Wong Kar Wai's 
films have always been classified as art films.  Even when his recent 
film THE GRANDMASTERS (YUT DOI JUNG SI) was already easy to understand as 
it approached commercial ideas, viewer preferences remained polarized.  
Fat Lai has always been business is business, feeling that film is a 
business he disagrees with taking 5 or 6 years to complete film.  In 
other words, even if Fat Lai one day invests in film productions they 
would fly under a commercial banner.  On the other hand, Pang Ho Cheung 
and Chapman To Man Jat are certain that Wong Kar Wai would not want Fat 
Lai's money.  Last night's Talk 24 has the answer on why.  Talk 24 airs

In addition, Fat Lai actually has a lot of knowledge on the mob and

Film Star Reigns Are The Hardest For Ah Jat To Take
Star Effect Always Bests Than Directors
	Every business has pain that few outsiders know about, the 
film industry is no exception.  Fat Lai asks, "What do you think is the 
hardest to take in this business?"  The average person would guess the 
unstable schedules, hard to predict success and failure, or the complex 
interpersonal relationships!  To Man Jat only has one answer.  "I feel 
that an idea is very popular with the media and the newspaper, saying 
that this time the director chooses these actors to make the movie."  So 
what is the problem with that?  Ah Jat adds, "Because almost all of them 
are lies!  90% is only with these actors can the movie be made.  Most 
directors, without lead actors, actually can't make a living!  Let's 
forget how large or small the budget is, the production can't even start.  
It's the same way in th U.S.  Of course stars reign.  If Tom Cruise is 
here, where do you think the director's name would be (referring to the 
poster)?  If you can find it then you are talented!"
	However the unfortunate frequently happens.  Not only you choose 
people, people can choose you too.  Ah Jat says, "Like Wong Kar Wai said, 
at age 40 men have to do what they have the confidence to do."  Fat Lai 
feels Wong Kar Wai is all talk, but Ah Jat says something even sharper.  
"You may not have the confidence to be successful, at least you have the 
confidence to be happy."  Actually it is not just acting, life should be 
like this as well.

Chua Lam: Before Becoming Wong Kar Wai, Many People Would Die!
The Success of One Due To The Sacrifice of Many
	The art and business of film has always been a major topic in the 
circle.  If a director boasts that both are important, he or she would 
have more investors with money than Individual Visit Scheme visitors who 
come to Hong Kong.  Film veteran Chua Lam says that one of the 
difficulties of being a producer is how film is defined.  "I feel the 
most unpleasant is do you feel film truly belongs to an individual or 
everyone?  Is film business or art?  This is what makes me unhappy.  We 
as producers can certainly receive a big wad of money, then we start 
working.  After the job, can you make this wad of money back for the 
boss?
	Fat Lai for whom business is business stresses the importance of 
money.  "Of course!"  Then, is there any movie for which both business 
and art are important in the world?  Chua Lam's examples are all foreign 
films like CASABLANCA, AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER or DOCTOR ZHIVAGO, perhaps 
the moon is truly rounder overseas?  What about Hong Kong?  Fat Lai asks, 
"Does our Wong Kar Wai count?"  Chua Lam continues to display his even 
temper nature and says, "This is the other problem that I talk about, 
does this film belong to Wong Kar Wai or the entire group of people?  If 
it is his movie but without other people, does it have him?"  A Wong Kar 
Wai film takes 5 to 6 years to make.  Behind his success, how many people 
do not work enough halfway, have difficulty with life and are 
"sacrificed"?  Chua-San says in earnest, "Before becoming Wong Kar Wai, 
many people would die."  Truly the success of one comes from the 
sacrifice of many.
	Fat Lai begins to pick apart Wong Kar Wai.  He says, "I am not in 
the film industry, but I watch his movies.  I am very certain about this.  
Wong Kar Wai is a very selfish person.  Perhaps, an artist needs to be 
this selfish."  At this time Ah Jat speaks up again, feeling that this 
world "only has rape, no forced betting".  Ah Jat says, "You have to 
admire him too, finding a group of people like them to be next to us."  
Pang Ho Cheung explains that making changes in production is not wrong in 
itself, the problem is there enough money to wrap up the production?

Fat Lai Gets A Little Mad, Teaching Wong Kar Wai How To Make A Movie
"Wong Kar Wai Doesn't want your money"
	However Fat Lai who has never mad any movie ultimately disagrees 
with the two insiders' opinions and brings out the idea of a nautical 
charts.  "You write as you shoot, you still have to have a destination, 
what your movie is like.  For example, when I was little and snuck into 
across the border into Hong Kong, swimming has no map; but in the sky 
Hong Kong is the only place in the entire China with lights, the sky in 
other places are dark.  So you swim toward the light!  Yet during the 
process someone would capture and arrest you, you have to keep dodging 
them.  It's try (trial) and error, but in the end, you swim toward the 
light."
	The destination and the direction are truly very important.  
"Film is the same way, you have to have a topic, a vision.  If I know 
where my movie topic is, the details can be try and error."  Inventing 
Animated News, Fat Lai thinks for awhile then with foul language teaches 
Wong Kar Wai how to make a movie.  "I don't know film so I am just X 
talking, first use animation as a test.  Whatever Wong Kar Wai wants to 
change, great, I have an animation on the computer.  You and I can test 
the entire film, like a very rough movie.  This way first is much faster 
and secondly much cheaper.  I estimate that it can be done with 5 million 
no matter what, in addition you can make all the changes you want here, 
with whatever effect and story you want.  OK, the production starts, X 
your X, it's done in two months."  Before he finishes, To Man Jat, Pang 
Ho Cheung and evn Chua Lam keep repeating, "He doesn't want your money!"  
That is true, if he is willing to do this then he is not Wong Kar Wai!

Fat Lai Impersonates Mob Boss and Throws Chopsticks On the Spot
Offering To Play A Mobster for Pang Ho Cheung
	After discussing investing, Fat Lai even gives a live 
performance!  He says to director Pang Ho Cheung that if his next film 
has a mobster role he has to save the part for him.  He says, "I am very 
curious, some directors tell you how to move your hand and turn your 
head, even teaching you how to move your eyes, some just inspires you."  
Pang Ho Cheung claims to be the latter.  Chua Lam says that director Lee 
Han-Hsiang would perform as a reference for his actors, no matter the 
role was male or female.  Fat Lai says, "I asked this question just now 
because I imagine I am an actor.  I am now playing a mob boss, I am in 
character.  I can perform as soon as I get there.  When the cameras roll 
I am completely in character, when I X go home I am X this way anyway 
(throws chopsticks), when you say the director would teach me how to 
move, I can't do it.  I am in the movie!  You as the director is outside 
the movie, if you want to teach me, you can't."
	When Director Pang and Ah Jat sees Fat Lai throw chopsticks, they 
are not scared at all as they continue to direct this "actor" and suggest 
for him to throw the glass too.  Wow!  Don't mess around!  Actually they 
normally direct actors this way too.  They also demonstrate how they 
direct actresses to brush their hair back to keep it from hiding their 
good figures.  Ah Jat says, "You don't say it to them like this, you say 
th hair seems messy, fix it a little, no it's still not too great, fix it 
again, it's still not good, sigh brush it to the back, then you won't 
hide your busts!"  Actresses are ready to risk everything like this!

Good Relationship Naturally Yields More Screen Time
	When actresses are so obedient, Chua Lam (Choi Lan) reveals, 
"With this many actresses make you like them very much, make you change 
the entire script for her, some people have this ability."  Ah Jat says, 
"It's very direct, because this world's best relationship is sexual 
relationship!"  Fat Lai feels it is not just sex.  He says, "I feel this 
is an emotional relationship."  There is a difference between familiar 
and strange, when actors and directors have good relationships, they 
truly may have more screen time.  Pang Ho Cheung as a director feels this 
is normal.  Chua Lam adds, "We have analyzed if we made THE GRANDMASTERS, 
the script makes it impossible for me to give so much screen time to Gong 
Er.  I definitely would give the Grand Master more.  I have worked with 
many directors as well, originally the movie wasn't a romance.  In the 
end it changed in nature."
	No wonder many people felt that in THE GRANDMASTERS, Gong Er's 
part was plenty and entertaining.  Actually the answer is like this!
	In addition, they agree that the U.S. entertainment business is a 
climate, a type of industry that makes money for the country.  Without 
strict discipline, when bosses forcibly making their girlfriends into film 
lead actresses it is so ghetto.  Now although the Mainland has what it 
takes to shake off the ghetto situation, the timing is not right yet.
