* (2012/11/07) The Tony Leung Chiu Wai starred THE GRANDMASTERS (YUT DOI 
JUNG SI) finally be released this Christmas.  The latest trailer has been 
unveiled.  As Ip Man Wai Jai had numerous fight scenes, one of which he 
had to fight over ten people in the rain and thoroughly displayed his 
abilities.  Wai Jai and Zhang Ziyi had a "fight into an embrace" and 
staring scene.
	In the video, Wai Jai first spoke Cantonese while other actors 
spoke Putonghua.  Other actors like Chang Chen, Song Hye-Kyo, Zhao 
Benshan, Xiao Shenyang and others were introduced as well.

* (2012/11/07) The film GUILLOTINES (HUET DIK JI)'s actors Huang Xiaoming, 
Shawn Yue Man Lok, Jing Boran, Chris Lee Yuchun, producer Peter Chan Ho 
Sun and director Andrew Lau Wai Keung last night attended the Harbor 
City Christmas light ceremony.  Reportedly Chan Ho Sun in a Taiwan 
interview said that Ethan Juan (Yuen King Tin) was this film's lead 
actor, last night Chan Ho Sun declined any interview but Lau Wai Keung 
said that the actor's roles were actually very even.  Yue Man Lok said 
that whoever was the lead actor was not important, the most important 
would be the film would be a hit.
	At the ceremony, THE GUILLOTINES's 3D trailer was shown.  Each 
person made a Christmas wish.  When the host asked about their Christmas 
wish, Huang Xiaoming joked that with six people on the stage he wished 
for each to make 100 million yuan so the film would make 600 million yuan 
box office.  Chan Ho Sun wished for joy for all and smooth sailing through 
the end of the world.  Speaking of 100 million at box office each, Yue Man 
Lok joked that it would be more than that.  With Siu Tin's absent they 
could take a 20% discount.  Huang Xiaoming's birthday will be next week, 
but he will have to work on the film THE BRIDE WITH WHITE HAIR (BAK FAT 
MOR NUI) and attend the wax figure unveiling.  He had to work on his 
birthday.  Will he celebrate with his girlfriend?  He only said, "Work!"
	As for Chan Ho Sun saying to the Taiwan media that the film's 
lead actor was Yuen King Tin, Lok Jai said, "Whoever is first doesn't 
matter, the second, the fourth, the ninth actor are all great as long as 
the film does well.  If the film isn't good, being the lead actor is 
useless."  Lau Wai Keung said that each actor's role was very even, they 
were all lead actors.  Lau Wai Keung said, "Three lead actors had their 
own advantages.  Lead actors are lead actors, lead actress is only Lee 
Yuchun."  Did Siu Tin get the more attention?  He pointed out that he 
would lead it for the viewers to decide and see which horse would win the 
race.  He joked, "If I am in Hong Kong, I would say Yue Man Lok is the 
lead, in the Mainland I would say Huang Xiaoming is the lead actor, in 
Taiwan Yuen King Tin is the lead actor!"

* (2012/11/07) The 49th Taiwan Golden Horse Award will take place in 
Yilan Luo Dong Cultural Factory on December 24, the Golden Horse 
commission announced the first round guest list.  Last year's Best Actor 
Andy Lau Tak Wa, Best Actress Deanie Ip Tak Han and Best New Actor Ko 
Chen-Tung will appear.  LOVE's Best Director nominee Doze Niu Chen-Zer 
and Best Supporting Actress nominees Amber Kuo and Ivy Chen already agreed 
to attend.  Others will include Best Actor nominee Joseph Chang and 
Sandrine Pinna (Cheung Yung Yung).  Kwai Lun-Mei five years after THE 
SECRET (BUT NUNG SHUET DIK BEI MUK) will appear at the Golden Horse Award 
again with Jay Chou (Chow Kit Lun).
	Chow Kit Lun is working on his second film as a director THE 
ROOF, reportedly the story merges dance, martial art, music, and love.  
He will present an award with his debut as a director THE SECRET's lead 
actress and Best Actress nominee Kwai Lun-Mei.  The reunion after such a 
long time to them will be particularly meaningful.  Alec Su (So Yau Peng) 
who has not been to Taiwan in awhile this year also agreed to be a guest 
presenter and return home to greet his fans; this year's final jury 
member has already been selected as Hong Kong director Mabel Cheung Yuen 
Ting has already agreed to join.

* (2012/11/07) The Aaron Kwok Fu Sing, Tony Leung Ka Fai, Eddie Peng 
Yu-Yen and Charlie Yeung Choi Nei starred new film COLD WAR (HONG JIN) 
will be released simultaneously in Hong Kong and the Mainland on November 
8.  Two nights ago a global premiere was held in Beijing, the actors and 
directors Longman Leung Lok Man and Sunny Luk Kim Ching attended.  The 
actors surrounded the final "behind the scene mastermind secret unveiling" 
short film and had their own ideas about who the mastermind would be.  
Best Actors Sing Sing and Leung Ka Fai had fun at each other's expense as 
they tried to prove that they were the biggest villain in the film.  They 
even joked that they competed so fiercely because they wanted to be in the 
sequel.
	As from the two Best Actors, the film also added two hunks Aarif 
Rahman (Lee Chi Ting) and Peng Yu-Yen.  As for the sequel, both looked 
forward to performing again.  Everyone said that they were very confident 
in the film and made a mischievous hand waving pose in support of the 
film.  Then the actors headed to the cinema to thank the audience for its 
support.  The venue temperature instantly increased as many fans screamed 
for their idols.  Sing Sing and Yeung Choi Nei even picked up a girl from 
the crowd for a photo together.
	In addition, Luk Kim Ching said that for this film they planned 
for vie years.  He was very happy that everyone sensed their sincerity.  
As for the film's good word of mouth, the directors revealed that the 
sequel might be near its launch.  Leung Lok Man said that at the beginning 
of the production, they truly never thought about a sequel.  Yet after the 
shoot they felt that they should still have drama to extend.  The new 
installment's story might be with another police operation.

* (2012/11/07) The Po Leung Kuk donation campaign yesterday took place in 
Causeway Bay.  Caring ambassador Jackie Chan, planning committee chief 
Eric Tsang Chi Wai, director Carol Lai Miu Shuet, and others asked for 
donation for the "special children development fund".
	Jackie Chan yesterday appeared with two ailing children.  He 
visited children with autism earlier with the group and showed his 
support.  Yesterday the event invited Jackie Chan, Tsang Chi Wai and 
director Lai Miu Shuet to call their friends to promote this campaign.  
Chi Wai called his soccer friends, Lai Miu Shuet called Andrew Lau Wai 
Keung and Lau expressed hope to make a micro movie in support, while 
Jackie Chan called his good friend Albert Yeung Sau Sing.  When Mr. Yeung 
answered the phone and called Jackie Chan honey, which left Jackie Chan 
wondering whether he should laugh and cry.  "There are so many people 
here, don't use foul language, haha."  After Mr. Yeung heard Jackie 
Chan's plea he immediately said that Jackie Chan's December film release 
CZ12 will hold a charity premiere and the proceed will be donated.  Jackie 
Chan was asked why he would call him honey?  Chi Wai added, "Now everyone 
knows he is gay!"  Jackie Chan said that normally he would speak so 
intimately.  Will Jackie Chan donate as well as showing physical support?  
Chi Wai joked, "He is going around donating sp(erm)...irit."  Jackie 
Chan revealed after CZ12 he will start work on POLICE STORY 2013.

* (2012/11/07) Feng Xiaogang's 1942 will be released in China on November 
29.  At the same time, the film has also been officially selected for the 
7th Rome International Film Festival competition.  Director Feng 
Xiaogang, writer Liu Zhenyun, actors Zhang Guoli, Xu Fan and executive 
producer Wang Zhonglei will appear on November 9 at the Rome Film Festival 
opening ceremony and the film's global premiere on November 11 in Rome.
	When 1942 finally passed inspection, Feng Xiaogang earlier the 
microblog thanked the release and production teams and said that in his 
next life he will work like a horse for Huayi's Wang Zhongjun and Wang 
Zhonglei in return.  While waiting for the approval, the entire production 
including Feng Xiaogang could not sleep and eat.  No wonder when Director 
Feng learned about the good news he immediately drank into an oblivion 
with his colleagues.  Director Feng even said, "This film to me is a 
little an over a decade long romance that was confirmed in a wedding.  I 
thank people who protect this film's birth."  The Rome International Film 
Festival in the last minute announced 1942 as its "surprise film" in 
competition to compete with 14 other films from around the world for the 
highest honor, Marc'Aurelio gold prize.


* (2012/11/06) Artist William Chan Wai Ting in the Emperor Motion Picture 
TRIAD (JAT JIK) played a couple with Michelle Wai (Si Nga).  In one 
scene mob big sister Irene Wan Bik Ha sent her subordinate to teach her 
a lesson and slap her.  She was injured and bleeding.  Chan Wai Ting in 
order to protect his girlfriend also was choked then busted open.
	For the result to be even more realistic, Chan Wai Ting asked 
his co-star to hit him for real and thus took a lot of abuse.  He said, 
"In the film I had to take a vicious beating that had me rolling on the 
ground, thus I told the director for me to rise I had to be able to take 
a beating."  Si Nga after the slap was affected as well, as she had 
difficulty with leaving the character.
	Si Nga in the film played a rich lawyer.  She said that her 
typical Hong Kong woman personality was very different from the real her.  
She said, "I am not the type of Hong Kong women who have been spoiled.  
So in order to play the spoiled character I had to magnify what little 
spoiled I had in my heart infinitely large."  In another scene she needed 
to spill an entire drink on Irene.  She admitted that she felt the 
pressure.  "Irene is an elder.  I was already very nervous to work with 
her, not to mention throwing a drink on her!  After the shoot I repeatedly 
apologized, throwing a drink is not too polite after all."  Irene said, 
"Si Nga already throwing the drink repeatedly apologized, which made me 
a little sorry.  We were just acting anyway."

* (2012/11/06) The Media Asia film THE GUILLOTINES (HUET DIK JI) will be 
released on December 27.  Yesterday the film held its first Asia press 
conference at Sky 100.  Shawn Yue Man Lok, Huang Xiaoming, Jing Boran, 
Chris Lee Yuchun, producer Peter Chan Ho Sun, director Andrew Lau Wai 
Keung and boss Peter Lam Kin Ngok all attended.  Ethan Juan (Yuen King 
Tin) due to military service was unable to attend but recorded a video 
to encourage everyone to work hard on the promotion.  The event also 
arranged for his wax figure to make an appearance, which Lok Jai and 
Xiaoming had a little fun with.
	Chan Ho Sun revealed that Lau Wai Keung actually guest starred 
in the role of Emperor Yongzhen.  Originally he did not agree, then Lau 
Wai Keung after make up realized that he resembled the actual person very 
much.  In particular the bags under their eyes were similar.  So he 
immediately asked him not to use any skin treatment.  Lau Wai Keung said, 
"Actually I didn't want to perform, but I was helpless.  This was shot 
in the final two days.  I called Liu Ye, Chen Daoming and either was 
able to make it.  It was left up to me."  Jing Boran also said that in 
the film Siu Tin slapped him seven times, but later Siu Tin was the one 
who cried and he instead had to console Siu Tin.
	Later Xiaoming stated that Lau Wai Keung constantly scolded 
during the shoot, luckily he was not one of his targets.  However he 
knew that he was not truly yelling at people.  Actually he was everyone's 
leader in the film.  As for the numerous action and explosion scenes, 
Xiaoming said, "I was very afraid, I had a lot of stunts that I had to 
work on myself.  I couldn't use a double like before, so certain danger 
was involved.  After getting used to that I was fine.  (Were you heavily 
insured?)  Right, I just know about that now.  Thank you for reminding 
me.  Next time I definitely will buy the policy first.  I don't know if 
the company bought any."  Would he ask his rumored girlfriend AngelaBaby 
to support him?  Xiaoming suddenly used Andy Lau Tak Wa's special 
ability and told everyone to be a little nicer.  Actually he did not know 
that he was known for saying that.  As for Baby's cosmetic surgery 
rumor, Xiaoming supported her despite the workers' effort to shield him.  
"Impossible.  (You seem so certain because you see her everyday or you 
have touched her?)  Haha, this question is too hard to answer.  Ultimately 
she absolutely has not."
	As for Lok Jai he has worked with Lau Wai Keung for ten years.  
He joked that he learned long ago how to dodge the moment when he was 
yelling at someone.  Others had to learn for themselves.  However actually 
Lau Wai Keung often used him as a shield, pretending to yell at him but 
actually was yelling at other people.  Lok Jai said, "I understand that 
this movie has so many dangerous scenes that made him nervous, but this 
time I was able to work with Chan Ho Sun and Lau Wai Keung I considered 
it truly a wish fulfilled."  Speaking of all the handsome men in the film, 
did they compete to see who was the most handsome at the studio?  Lok Jai 
said no.  Instead when the team asked whether he would shave his head he 
immediately agreed.  If he had to wear a wig everyday it truly would have 
killed him.

* (2012/11/06) The Wong Kar Wai directed, Tony Leung Chiu Wai, Zhang 
Ziyi, Song Hye-Kyo, Chang Chen starred THE GRANDMASTERS (YUT DOI JUNG SI) 
will be released in Hong Kong around Christmas.  Several leads' latest 
costume stills were released yesterday.  Wai Jai "slicked" back his 
hair and punched in an extremely cool look, the fruit of his two years 
of Wing Chun training that has not gone wasted.  Wai Jai also thanked 
director Wong Kar Wai for giving him this chance to play Ip Man.  Although 
the training and the production took a long time, he felt it was 
completely worth it.  Wai Jai said, "To experience a martial art master's 
journey of the heart, the best way was to practically train in kung fu.  
During the training, I was able to experience the character as well as 
the martial art."
	Working with Leung Chiu Wai for the second time, Zhang Ziyi in 
the film played an Eight Diagram palm master.  Before the shoot she needed 
to train hard.  Leung Chiu Wai and Zhang Ziyi after working together on 
2046 last time already have built certain chemistry.  This time their 
scenes together were even more flavorful.  Wai Jai said that although he 
has only worked with Ziyi twice, he felt like they have worked on six 
movies together!  Playing Leung Chiu Wai's wife, Song Hye-Kyo' costume 
was also unveiled for the first time.  She was very spellbounding with 
her elegant grace.

* (2012/11/05) Best Actor Nick Cheung Ka Fai and director Dante Lam Chiu 
Yin again teamed up for the new film GIK JIN (EXTREME WAR) with Andy Tien 
(On Chi Kit) and Eddie Peng Yu-Yen.  Earlier the production applied for a 
Prince Edward Road block and received approval for it between 9PM and 4AM.  
Regional Council members complained over disturbance concerns.  Two nights 
ago the team finally appeared in the Flower Market Road.  Playing a taxi 
driver Ka Fai was attacked with baseball bats and then the vehicle was 
set on fire.  The team waited until the nearby florists closed to set up 
lighting in order to shrink the time to its shortest and reduce unnecessary 
trouble.  Lam Chiu Yin also reduced the light from the car burning 
scene to its smallest.  Although heavy smoke arose after the shoot, the 
team quickly put it out and left in less than two hours.
	Ka Fai's finger has not yet healed but still put in quite an 
effort during the attack.  After he decided to take this film, he not 
only spent time to get into shape but also trained in "mixed martial art" 
and "Brazilian Jujitsu".  Lam Chiu Yin planned to wrap up the film with 
Ka Fai and On Chi Kit in a topless fight.  Lam Chiu Yin said, "I don't 
want to say too much.  During the costume fitting Ka Fai, On Chi Kit and 
Peng Yu-Yen had to take off their shirts and put on oil.  Many women 
fought to help.  (Did Ka Fai's finger injury affect the shoot?)  More or 
less, I just switched the schedule around.  The most important is he is 
fine."

* (2012/11/05) Raymond Cho Wing Lim's father Cho Siu Chuen earlier passed 
away due to illness at the age of 79.  Yesterday his family held a wake 
for him at the Grand Peace Funeral Parlour and the funeral at 10AM the 
next morning.  The funeral will be a Buddhist ceremony.  Cho Wing Lim's 
mother in law Lee Lam Lam and her younger son Chiang Cheuk Man were on 
hand, but father in law John Chiang Dai Wei due to a series production 
was unable to personally pay his respect.  Cho Wing Lim said that his 
father has always had hereditary diabetes.  In recent years he often has 
been hospitalized.  His father passed away two months ago due to acute 
organ failure, the situation was rather dire.  He continued, seeing how 
hard it was on his father, he felt that his passing instead was a release.
	Cho Wing Lim around 5PM first left with his children.  He said 
that his son already understood the passing of his grandfather because 
when his father in law Chiang Dai Wai's mother passed away earlier, his 
son already understood what death was.  Thus this time before Grandpa
passed away he "snuck" his son in to see his grandfather one last time.  
His son even said that he would miss Grandpa.
	Speaking of his father, Cho Wing Lim said that when he was little 
his father was in business and his family was doing well.  At the time 
Papa often brought him to night clubs but not to mess around.  He only 
sang and drank with friends.  Later because the business went bad, his 
father became a street vendor and he helped.  Cho Wing Lim felt that his 
father was very tough.  Later when he was no longer a vendor, he went to 
work as a security guard and on government jobs.  At the time his father 
in order to raise his four sons had no complaint at all.  Speaking of his 
father's final wish, Cho Wing Lam said that his father had sons and 
grandchildren, he believed that he no longer had any wish left to be 
fulfilled.

* (2012/11/05) Aaron Kwok Fu Sing yesterday promoted his film COLD WAR 
(HONG JIN) with directors Longman Leung Lok Man and Sunny Luk Kim Ching.  
A flag raising ceremony took place as a giant poster of Sing Sing was 
raised above the shopping center.  The guests along with the shopping 
center representatives all saluted for a photo opportunity.
	Sing Sing revealed that later he will promote the film for almost 
a month as he will head to Singapore, Beijing, Taiwan and other places.  
he said that this film had no co-production element and hoped that 
everyone would support this Hong Kong film.  His biggest anticipation 
was for viewers to like it.  Did he know that he would be so busy so 
earlier he went on vacation to recharge?  Sing Sing said, "I am not 
talking about anything else!"  Reporters praised him again for looking 
rejuvenated and refreshed, Sing Sing said, "You are very cute.  I 
exercise!"  When asked whether he would invite Lynn Xiong (Hung Doi Lam) 
to watch the film, he said that he would invite all of his friends to 
watch but would not talk about anything else.
	Sing Sing also said that actually he would like to bring his 
mother to watch the new film the most.  Earlier his mother was in the 
audience of his concert.  When she saw him on the trampoline she covered 
her eyes.  This time watching the movie with Mommy, with her son by her 
side and knowing that the film was fictional, he believed that she would 
be fine.  Would he book the entire venue?  Sing Sing said that he would 
not as he wanted to see the audience response.  Perhaps he would take 
Mommy to morning tea then go to the movies, one with less people would 
be better.  He did not plan to disguise himself so he asked viewers to 
take photos after the movies if they saw him.  Would he not bring his 
girlfriend?  He said that he would go with his mother and sister.  He 
also said that Mommy has seen his previous work.  When she praised his 
movies, he would feel very warm.

* (2012/11/05) William Chan Wai Ting, Michelle Wai (Si Nga), Deep Ng Ho 
Hong, Derek Tsang Kwok Cheung, Edward Chui Woai Tung and Carlos Chan Ka 
Lok yesterday attended the film TRIAD (JAT JIK)'s promotion.  The actors 
played games with mob slangs like "chopping" and "catching wind" but 
actually were peeling pomelos and relaying messages.
	William stated that if TRIAD exceeded 10 million at the box office 
he would parade around Portland Street in a bra.  Speaking of the decent 
response to the early morning advanced screening, he admitted that he 
started to worry; he said that many wanted to see his last scene and joked 
that if anyone did not like him they truly had to see it.  Si Nga said 
that she would support William and be responsible for choosing a bra for 
him.  She could help the actors with putting them on as well.
	Deep early morning just completed a marathon race and attended 
the event in the afternoon.  He said that the 10K experience was decent, 
he miscalculated the time and the result was not too satisfactory.  He 
hoped to perform better at the half marathon at the end of the month.
	Deep also said that recently he has been on a diet.  Earlier he 
was as fat as koala bear.  Now after half a month he already lost 11 
pounds and he hoped to be able to maintain it.

* (2012/11/04) The Hong Kong Asian Film Festival 2012 opening ceremony 
party took place two nights ago at the Yau Ma Tei Broadway film center.  
Stars of the two opening films attended, including COLD WAR (HONG JIN)'s 
Aaron Kwok Fu Sing, Tony Leung Ka Fai, Eddie Peng Yu-Yen and directors 
Longman Leung Lok Man, Sunny Luk Kim Ching, and Taiwan film WHEN A WOLF FALLS 
IN LOVE WITH A SHEEP's Ko Chen-Tung, Chien Man-Shu and director Hou 
Ji-Yan.  Recently rumored to be on an advanced honeymoon with girlfriend 
Lynn Xiong (Hung Doi Lam) in the Maldives, Sing Sing was in great spirits.  
He first talked about the film and said that he was very happy about 
COLD's good reviews, thanked Wong Jing for his praise.  Wong Jing's 
comments touched him and he will continue to work hard on making good 
movies.
	Later reporters asked if his holiday with Lynn was joyous?  Sing 
Sing laughed and said no comment.  Did he have an advanced honeymoon?  He 
said such a creative idea was pretty funny.  Lynn admitted to be tired at 
the airport, Sing Sing said, "Ask her about that, asking me is useless."  
Was Sing Sing tired?  He said, "Awake and alert."  Did their relationship 
take a huge leap?  He said no comment, earlier he already told everyone 
that his birthday wish was not to discuss his personal life.
	Leung Ka Fai saw great potential for COLD's directors and said 
that he was very honored and happy to be able to make the film.  Sing Sing 
and Lynn just celebrated his birthday overseas, did Ka Fai congratulate 
them?  He said that Sing Sing already took action, of course he was 
happy and happy for Sing Sing.  Did he feel Sing Sing have entered 
another stage?  Ka Fai joked, "He and I aren't familiar, haha, we are 
brothers."  He pointed out that he and Sing Sing were good co-stars and 
brothers.  Seeing how he is today, he was happy and satisfied for Sing 
Sing.  "Actually how his inner world is it really isn't related.  When he 
can perform for me, as long as he is very happy it's fine.  I am an actor 
and know how to tell, check out the corner of his mouth......"  Ka Fai 
joked, "It just has a little drool."  Did he feel Sing Sing was like him

handsome.
	Sing Sing was asked about his romance.  When he was told that 
Leung Ka Fai claimed that he was in luck, Sing Sing at first did not 
believe it.  "Luckily I have witnesses, you made it all up."  Reporters 
said that Ka Fai truly said that, he laughed, "You just write what I say, 
I believe everyone has a lot of creativity and use a lot of words to 
attract readers.  Whatever you say is fine, I don't mind, the most 
important is to support COLD WAR."  Will Sing Sing wed?  He said, "This 
is a creative topic, just being happy is fine."
	Ko Chen-Tung said that WOLF was his second film.  This time he had 
no intimate scene with the lead actress, not even hand holding.
	He said that he will not go to play in Lan Kwai Fong while in 
Hong Kong.  Did his girlfriend prohibit him to?  Ko Chen-Tung said, "No, 
Hong Kong is so small and has so many paparazzi.  I am not afraid of 
paparazzi, I don't have to be.  Work is already very tiring."

* (2012/11/04) Metro Hit Radio Awards 2012 will take place on November 27 
at the Convention Center.  Yesterday a press conference was held in 
Whampoa.  Joey Yung Cho Yi, Twins, Adason Lo (Law Lik Wai), G.E.M, Jade 
Kwan sum Yin, Pakho Chau and others attended.  The event presented four 
awards on the spot.  G.E.M won the Record of the Year award, Pakho Chau 
won the "Performance Award", the "Airplay Index Award" Song Award went to 
Kary Ng Yu Fei's FEROCIOUSLY (HUNG HUNG).  The top six favorite singer 
champion was Joey Yung Cho Yi.  Joey during the group photo gave up her 
center spot.
	Later she admitted that where she stood did not matter.  Speaking 
of a seeming lack of competition this year, Joey humbly said, "No!  I 
always feel my competition is myself.  Ng Yu Fei, G.E.M are all great.  
(The class is worse?)  Event arrangement!  Since I have time I attend, I 
too just want to do my share."  Joey's boyfriend Wilfred Lau Ho Lung was 
not on hand.  She stressed that no matter what she was very at ease and 
happy, but she was made to look like playing favorites.  When she and 
Denise Ho Wan Si attended an event they posed for photos but with Si Hing 
she declined.  Joey said that it was rare for many friends to be at the

* (2012/11/04) William Chan Wai Ting, Michelle Wai (Si Nga), Kathy Yuen 
(Tong Yi), Deep Ng Ho Hong and Derek Tsang Kwok Cheung two nights ago 
went to Mongkok for their new film TRIAD (JAT JIK)'s audience appreciation.  
Because the event took place early in the morning, the three men said 
that they would protect the two beauties properly.  Would William watch 
a late show with his girlfriend Charlene Choi Cheuk Yin?  William admitted 
that because he was too busy with work, he rarely went to the movies with 
his girlfriend.  As for expectation for the new film, William said that if 
it broke 10 million, he and the other actors would wear a bra or Speedo 
and run a lap around Temple Street.  He joked, "Wearing it outside the 
clothes is fine."  This time the film subject was the mob, was William 
worried that mobsters would greet him with foul language after watching

* (2012/11/04) The Radio Hong Kong and six major Chinese radio station 
organized 12th Global Chinese Music Award took place two nights ago at 
the Singapore Indoor Stadium.  The event presented 21 awards and Hong 
Kong singers won 13.  Eason Chan Yik Shun, Joey Yung Cho Yi, Show Luo 
(Law Chi Cheung), Tanya Chua (Choi Kin Nga) and JJ Lin (Lam Chun Kit) 
each won 4 awards.  Eason and Choi Kin Nga even won the Best Male and 
Female Singer Awards.  Fiona Sit Hoi Kei won the Hong Kong Outstanding 
Singer Award.
	Eason walked the red carpet with good friend Choi Kin Nga, but 
Eason wore the wrong type of clothing as the wool suit made him feel even 
hotter.  When asked who they would like to work with, they both said that 
they would like to work with each other the most because they both had a 
good voice.  Eason even said that Choi Kin Nga's voice was very 
captivating even when she was ordering meals or getting the check, and 
she could not help but smile.
	Joey said that she was very pleased with her dress.  Because she 
rarely went to Singapore, she wanted to dress in a more exaggerated way 
to steal the spotlight.  Her giant coat also had a gimmick, as she 
performed it lit up and the special effect wowed the crowd.  With 4 
awards, Joey was asked how she felt about upcoming music awards.  She 
joked that she would have to see whether the world will truly end.  If so 
then she would not do anything.  Next year she will perform a concert in 
Singapore.
	Twins felt very special after "reuniting" to accept an award.  
They admitted that performing together put them more at ease.  Now that 
they are developing separately, how did they maintain their relationship?  
They said that they would communicate through microblogs, occasionally 
they would meet for dinner.  However friends did not need to see each 
other everyday.  Recently they just worked together on a movie in Korea, 
their first one overseas.  They were so happy that everyday work was like 
entertainment.
	4 award winner Show Luo's performance made the entire crowd's 
blood boil.  The award that he wanted to win the most was the creative 
singer award.  Thus he earlier has already begun to write songs in hopes 
of being able to publish a record that will be completely his creation.  
He made fun of Rainie Yang (Yeung Sing Lam) who was in an elegant red

* (2012/11/03) Turning 58 today, Brigitte Lin (Lam Ching Ha) two days ago 
revealed online that she and famous art director William Chang Suk Ping 
will work on a magazine photo spread as a perfect team.  As for the 
rumored comeback, Ching Ha posted, "Coming out to play a little feels 
like returning to work, the feeling is great but it doesn't mean that I

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and others.
	Veteran TVB host Luisa Lai Chi San made a personal appearance to 
invite Maggie to her BEST ACTRESS program.  Reporters called Chi San to 
ask if she was successful.  She said, "You can say that, I can't reveal 
too much with so many possibilities.  (Do you know each other well?)  Not 
really, but I always interview her.  She knows who I am."  Confirmed 
"Best Actresses" included Carina Lau Ka Ling and Miriam Yeung Chin Wa.
	Maggie was asked about appearing at the same event with Tony

Bee (Chung Chun To) two nights ago appeared in Shanghai at the 2012 
Cosmo Beauty Award.  Baby dropped her film TAICHI HERO promotion to 
attend and won the Silver Screen Breakthrough Image of the Year award.  
In TAI she due to her "heroic" performance she won the "Actor" title, no 
wonder two nights ago after winning she joked, "I never thought that an 
actor would be able to win this award!"  

* (2012/11/03) The Shanghai court rejected Hong Kong film star Stephen 
Chow Sing Chi's appeal in pursuit of 14 million yuan RMB in compensation 
from Sing Girl Kitty Zhang Yuqi yesterday, meaning that Zhang will not 
need to pay 14 million yuan to Chow Sing Chi's Star Overseas.
	Earlier Zhang Yuqi and Chow Sing Chi's Star Overseas company had 
a contract termination dispute and ended up in court.  In mid July the 
Mainland court ruled in favor of the plaintiff and Zhang Yuqi had to pay 
HK$3 million to Star Overseas.  Earlier Star Overseas filed an appeal to 
demand 14 million yuan RMB from Zhang Yuqi and the court rejected the 
appeal.  Star Overseas appealed again.  Yesterday afternoon Shanghai 
No. 1 Intermediate People's Court's final verdict ruled to uphold the 
original ruling and rejected Star Overseas' appeal request.
	At the same time, Zhang Yuqi announced that the founding of a 
workshop and was no longer signed with a manager.  She would fully handle 
her own jobs and ask the lawyer to reiterate that if anyone interferes 
her performance further she will reserve the right for legal action.

* (2012/11/03) Rumored couple Ava Yu Kiu and Adason Lo (Law Lik Wai)'s 
record companies struck down the relationship.  Yu Kiu's boss Stephen 
Shiu Jr. even joked that he was a "two against six singer".  Two nights 
ago Stephen Shiu Jr. Yu Kiu, Annie Liu (Lau Sum Yau), Julian Cheung Chi 
Lam, Mandy Wong Chi Man and director Patrick Kong (Yip Lim Sum) attended 
the NATURAL BORN LOVERS (TIN SUN OI CHING KONG) celebration.  Yu Kiu 
looked rather down and worn out.  Stephen Shiu Jr. arrived later and they 
had zero communication.  When they posed for photos they looked 
disoriented, obviously they had a gap between them.  During the toast 
they perhaps deliberately were in two separate directions.  Finally 
Stephen Shiu Jr. took the initiative and raised a glass to Yu Kiu, but 
privately they still had nothing to say.
	Yu Kiu who was lacking a smile said that she read the report and 
stated that she and Law Lik Wai are good friends.  However if the boss 
and the company thought that they invested resources on her but in the 
end still ended up in gossip, the boss should be disturbed and displeased.  
As for her opinion about "two against six", Yu Kiu still protected Law Lik 
Wai.  "He of course isn't, if he is then I am 'two against seven or 
eight'?  What the boss said when he was mad, I have no comment.  (Have

friend that.  (Yet Law Lik Wai was able to accept it!)  I can't, it's

	Yu Kiu admitted that the boss stated she had to choose between

would not bother anyone.  Stephen Shiu Jr said, "His company and guys 
have done things, actually everyone is working hard on their own.  Not 
interference with others is fine.  Ultimately colleagues shouldn't fight 
each other.  I am not just talking about one company specifically."  
Stephen Shiu Jr. said that he did not mind starting a war of words.  He 
never supervised his artists' personal lives, but this time Yu Kiu truly 
was not as ambitious as before and her work was affected.  He felt that 
it was due to outside influence and an ordinary friend was not worth 
destroying her future for.  What if they were truly in love?  Stephen 
Shiu Jr. took another jab and said, "I don't like such a fake person.  If 
they are they are, if they aren't they aren't.  Being indecisive would

	Sum Yau thought that over 300 million at the box office after a 
week in release was a good start.  Earlier she went to Guangzhou, 
Shenzhen and others places to campaign and the response was decent.  Did 
she run into anyone taking advantage?  Sum Yau said, "Many big guys and 
metal barriers protected me, it was great.  However Chilam was in a bit

Tin Lok two days ago flew to Taipei for a fashion label flagship store 
opening.  After five years away from Taiwan, Goo Jai admitted that he 
missed Taiwan's food like stinky tofu and Taiwanese Style Fried Chicken.  
He had to return to Thailand to continue work on the same night.  Did he 
have anything he wanted to eat?  He said, "As long as I have something to 
eat it's fine."  Just celebrated his birthday, Goo Jai was so busy that

Hong Kong for a commercial shoot for two days he dined with his parents.  
Before and after he only slept for six hours before flying back to 
Thailand immediately.
	This Golden Horse Award Best Actor nominees were almost all Hong 
Kong stars, with the only Taiwan representative being Joseph Chang.  Who 
was Goo Jai's favorite?  He asked about the nominees then said, "I feel 
everyone performed very well, but you ask me who I like more, I would 
choose Lau Ching Wan!"  However he also praised the other nominees' 
acting, in addition they were all his friends.  Why did he pick Lau Ching 
Wan?  He joked, "If I didn't say him, when I go to Thailand tomorrow he 
will beat me up!"  He and Ching Wan are working on the Pang Brothers 
directed INFERNO (TOH CHOOK SUN TIN) in Thailand.
	As for fellow guest, model Sonia Sui Tang, Goo Jai politely said, 
"She is very pretty, very tall."  When asked if he has seen her acting, 
Goo Jai said he seemed to have but when asked which one he said that he 
forgot.  The Sui Tang starred film version of THE FIERCE WIFE was a hit 
but not praised, as both film critics or online comments said that her 
acting in the film seemed to have "reversed" a lot from the television 
series.  Thus she was nominated for the "Golden Shrimp Award" for the most 
shrimp actress.  Sui Tang said that she did not know about this award.

* (2012/11/03) Irene Wan Bik Ha, Cissy Wang and Yeung Siu Guen yesterday 
attended an environmental protection event.  The Irene starred new film 
TRIAD (JAT JIK) recently had two advanced screenings and both were sold 
out.  Speaking of viewer anticipation for her underwear scene, Irene said 
that aside from this scene she also had a few very shocking scenes.  She 
also praised William Chan Wai Ting's performance as decent.  She was a 
little attracted to him and jokingly pleaded that no one tells Charlene 
Choi Cheuk Yin.
	Irene revealed that recently she formed a work shop with film 
professionals and every year two movies will be made.  She will be 
responsible for planning and screenplay creation.  The first film will

ACTOR program.  He said that the secret to his marriage with Carina Lau 
Ka Ling was mutual trust and understanding, and giving each other space 
and respect.  Did he propose?  He revealed that he was rejected.  "Yes, 
but maybe I was rejected.  I forgot too, stuff like this is better not to 
remember."  Wai Jai said that after marriage he has been very happy.  He 
also praised Lau Ka Ling taking care of the wedding ceremony by herself 
as very amazing.
	When Wai Jai was little, his parents separated.  He dropped out 
of school at age 15.  At the time his family environment was not great.  
He hoped to be able to help his mother.  At home he played the "father" 
role as he took care of his younger sister and did the chores.  Since his 
father left, he saw his father three times.  "Papa passed away around 10 
years ago, before passing he didn't see me again.  I remind myself with

Chan Wai Ting, Michelle Wai (Si Nga), Kathy Yuen (Tong Yi), Deep Ng Ho 
Hong, Derek Tsang Kwok Cheung and Edward Chui Woai Tung promoted with 
zombie looks in Tsim Shui Tsui to promote.  They ran into the police 
dispute with several intoxicated people.  Chan Wai Ting said that he has 
never been so drunk that the police was involved.  "I rarely get drunk 
because I rarely drink, but I have been drunk.  I would find a hole to 
crawl into and giggle.  I would also grab people to chat with.  I believe 
many people have been like that."  Did he grab his girlfriend Charlene 
Choi Cheuk Yin to chat?  Chan Wai Ting stuttered and said, "No, no, no!"  
He also said that he did not have violent tendency after drinking.
	Si Nga said that she has been drunk.  Once after a break up she

* (2012/11/02) The Deanie Ip Tak Han starred film A SIMPLE LIFE (TOH JEH) 
will air on TVB movie channel.  She was invited to make a promotional 
film and share the production experience.  Ip Tak Han remembered the 
coffin scene.  "That coffin to me was a little big and had a strange 
scent.  However I thought it was pretty interesting because not everyone 
would have a chance to try to lie in a coffin in their lives.  
Unfortunately this scene was cut in the end, which is somewhat 
regrettable."  As for the most touching scene, she said, "In one scene 
Roger's mother returned from overseas and she told Sister Tao that her 
granddaughter in law had a baby.  I was very happy and touched to make 
that scene, as if I truly had a great grandchild.  I was teary eyed but I 
didn't dare to cry, because I knew that (Ann) Hui On Wa doesn't like for 
people to cry."

* (2012/11/02) Famous martial art star Gordon Liu (Lau Ka Fai, originally 
named Sin Kam Hei) since suffering a stroke in August last year and 
became hemiplegic.  During the period his family dispute disturbed him.  
For months in order to settle months of "inheritance fight" and to focus 
on recovery, he did not want to see his children and contacted a lawyer 
to act on his behalf.
	Yesterday Lau Ka Fai through his lawyer published a notice.  
Since his stroke in August last year he has received the concern from 
friends, the media and fans alike and he was very appreciative.  He will 
definitely work hard in order to recover in the shortest amount of time; 
thus during his recovery period, he hopes that everyone would respect his

* (2012/11/02) Donnie Yen Chi Tan two nights ago attended a BWM event.  
Recently Yen Chi Tan was reported as taking great care of his former 
wife and their teenager son and even giving a HK$10 million mansion to 
her.
	Chi Tan said that his former wife and son are not in the business 
and hoped that the media would give them of space to live.  He felt that 
as a father he naturally had the responsibility.  He appreciated his 
former wife for taking care of their son over the years.  Reportedly he 
gave his former wife and son HK$50,000 of living expense monthly and a 
mansion.  He said that the report exaggerated, he only did what he should 
do and did not need to tell others.  He wanted to be a responsible man as 
much as possible.  His current wife Cissy Wang is also very supportive of 
what he is doing and has been very gracious; his children often get 
together as well and have decent relationships.  Speaking of his son Jeff

Wan Si also appeared.  Cheung Man Yuk stated that reporters could only 
ask her one question in advance.

someone, she said, "If I haven't run into anyone I like, I would rather 
be alone than promiscuous."  She even revealed that her perfect dream 
romance would be love at first sight.  "When two people meet they would 
feel they get along very well, they don't need to think too much about 
anything else.  Naturally they would become fond of each other, love has 
to have love."  Fung Tak Lun revealed about Peng Yu-Yen, "He has had yin 
yang imbalance for three years!"  Ka Fai said that because he loved Peng

	Peng Yu-Yen yesterday looked darker and thinner, quite different 
from his pale faced scholar look in TAICHI.  He said that because in the 
film Baby's character wanted him to be more manly, so he got a tan.  His

* (2012/11/02) The Hong Kong Performing Artist Guild organized 2012 
costume party took place two nights ago in Tsim Sha Tsui.  Eric Tsang Chi 
Wai, Irene Wan Bik Ha, Jade Kwan Sum Yin, Samantha Ko Hoi Ning, Koni Lui 
Wai Yi and others attended.  Ko Hoi Ning and Lui Wai Yi both showed off 
their career lines, Lui Wai Yi even daringly bent off in front of Chi Wai.  
Later Chi Wai posed for photos with her and Ko Hoi Nin, stuck in the 
middle Chi Wai mischievously extended his hand to pretend to support 
their chest.  Chi Wai revealed that the event had over 40 tables.  Because 
the Guild did not have any party last year, this year many inquired and 
raised the prices.  They already had over 1 million from table sales

TRIAD (JAT JIK) promotion, earlier she did 8 interviews straight.  When

* (2012/11/02) Fresh Wave 2012 International Short Film exhibit yesterday 
held a press conference.  Johnnie To Kei Fung as the Hong Kong Art 
Development Council Film and Media Art committee chair attended with Andy 
Lau Tak Wa, Joe Cheung Tung Cho and Fruit Chan Gor.  The short film 
exhibit will take place between the 23rd and December 2 at the Yau Ma Tei 
Broadway film center with 26 shows of 46 short films.
	Lau Tak Wa originally planned to attend the opening ceremony in 
support, but because he will be the Golden Horse jury chair in Taiwan he 
instead personally appeared at the press conference.  He ran into several 
new directors who introduced themselves to him.  Wa Jai said that he would 
ask his company to get an understanding and make contact.  As for his 
first time as the Golden Horse Award jury chair, Wa Jai will have to stay 
in Taiwan for around ten days to watch all the nominated films then 
evaluate them.  Would he have any favorite and would he give Hong Kong 
films more points?  Wa Jai said no comment but he heard that this year's 
film quality was very even, the selection should be very hard.  He would 
watch all the movies before making any decision.  Wa Jai has been a Golden 
Horse Best Actor also nominated many times.  Did the nomination make him 
more nervous than being on the jury?  Wa Jai admitted that he would be 
more nervous on the jury because this represented the entire Golden Horse 
Award.  He would not only provide his personal opinion but also would 
study past year's jury standards.  Yet so far he was still unclear.  This 
year Lau Ching Wan, Nicholas Tse Ting Fung and Nick Cheung Ka Fai were in 
competition for Best Actor, would it be hard for him to choose?  Wa Jai 
said, "It will definitely be fair, and it's not just my decision alone.  
The competition rules are rather fair!"  Will he miss his family and 
daughter while staying in Taiwan for 10 days or will his family travel 
with him?  Wa Jai smiled and said, "I will tell you on another day!"
	To Kei Fung has put an effort into cultivating behind the scene 
film new blood and even revealed that through government assistance he 
planned to make a movie that several new directors will direct next year.  
Hopefully the script will be completed this year for production next 
year.  He also communicated with some actors and hoped that their salaries 
would be discounted to reduce production cost.

* (2012/11/02) Taiwan artists Ko Chen Tung yesterday along with his new 
film WHEN A WOLF FALLS IN LOVE WITH A SHEEP (NAM FONG SIU YEUNG MUK 
CHEUNG) lead actress Chien Man-Shu appeared on a radio interview.  Two 
female fans were lucky enough to take a photo with them.  A fan suddenly 
asked for a hug from Ko Chen-Tung, which he was somewhat embarrassed 
about but still agreed.
	Ko Chen-Tung on this trip will also attend Hong Kong Asian Film 
Festival events.  Because WOLF will be one of the opening films he will 
attend to see the audience's reaction.  Earlier Ko Chen-Tung posted a 
photo of him smoking and later removed it.  Did his company yell at him?  
He said no, he was always in good spirits but was afraid of trouble.  He 
removed it.  He said, "Too many disturbances, too many comments."  He 
said that he has already started smoking in high school.  Although his 
manager did not yell at him, the messages wowed him.  From now on he 
would smoke less.
	Was he afraid of affecting his image?  Ko Chen-Tung said, "It's 
fine, but Mama doesn't want me to smoke."  Earlier he also posted online

celebrated her birthday on two days ago.  Because Big Brother would also

Ziyi starred THE GRANDMASTERS (YUT DOI JUNG SI) was once parodied online 
as THE GRAND MISSING (YUT DOI SUT JUNG) because the film after ten years 
in production never had a release date until this year when Jet Tone 
announced its December 18 release.  Yet the outside remained suspicious.  
Wong Kar Wai this time finally fulfilled his promise as the film has 
been scheduled for a December 20 release, opposite Jackie Chan's 300 
million production CZ12, the Chow Yun Fat and Huang Xiaoming starred THE 
LAST TYCOON (DAI SEUNG HOI) and the Peter Chan Ho Sun produced, Huang 
Xiaoming and Ethan Juan (Yuen King Tin) starred THE GUILLOTINES (HUET 
DIK JI).  This Christmas Chinese films will be strong as three 
generations of stars will have releases.

THE GRANDMASTERS
	The Wong Kar Wai directed THE GRANDMASTERS from planning to 
completion took ten years, truly taking its time to mature and the 
audience have already turned blue from holding their breathes.  This film 
is the story of Bruce Lee's master Ip Man.  Wong Kar Wai daringly cast non 
fighting star Leung Chiu Wai to play the Wing Chun master Ip Man, which 
made people curious about how the fight scenes would be handled.  Yet 
according to those who have seen the film, Wai Jai, Chang Chen and Zhang 
Ziyi under action director Yuen Woo Ping's magic wand suddenly became 
martial art masters as the fight scenes were outstanding.  The film was 
a story about the martial art rivalries during the Republic age, with a 
great era backdrop, a variety of relationships between the styles, as 
well as Chinese fighting foreigners and among themselves and romance.

THE LAST TYCOON 
	The Andrew Lau Wai Keung produced, Wong Jing directed LAST 
gathered two generations of Hui Man Keung, Chow Yun Fat and Huang 
Xiaoming, to star with Sammo Hung Kam Bo and Francis Ng Chun Yu.  The 
story took place before World War II, the real experience of a mob boss 
between the 20s and the 30s in the Grand Shanghai.  This boss in his 
youth would be Huang Xiaoming and from middle age on would be Fat Gor.  
The film has a lot of gun fights, killings and explosions to satisfy 
the audience's sensory stimulations.

THE GUILLOTINES
	The Peter Chan Ho Sun produced, Andrew Lau Wai Keung directed THE 
GUILLOTINES (HUET DIK JI) gathered idols of China, Hong Kong and Taiwan 
Huang Xiaoming, Shawn Yue Man Lok, Ethan Juan (Yuen King Tin) and Chris 
Lee Yuchun for a young and cool costume wuxia 3D film about a Qing 
Dynasty special force the Guillotines that executed previous dynasty 
revolutionaries Huang Xiaoming.  To make his revolutionary look stand 
out, Huang Xiaoming even appeared in a Jesus look that will be refreshing 
for the audience.  The film will be released on December 20 in the 
Mainland

1942
	Feng Xiaogang after AFTER SHOCK again worked another disaster 
film 1942 about the 1942 Henan famine.  The film not only had Zhang Hanyu, 
Zhang Guoli and Xu Fan but also Oscar Best Actor Adrien Brody and Golden 
Globe Best Actor Tim Robbins.  Feng Xiaogang will completely display 
the kindness, courage and human dignity in the helpless refugees during 
the disaster.  It will be another film that will earn people's tears.

MY SASSY HUBBY

	The James Yuen Sai Sun directed, Dior Cheng Yi Kin and Charlene 
Choi Cheuk Yin starred MY SASSY HUBBY (NGOR LO GUNG NG SUN SING) was 
Yuen Sai Sun's extension of his 2002 HK$10 million hit MY WIFE IS EIGHTEEN 
(NGOR LO POR NG GAU CHING) ten years in the making.  The story is about 
the couple Cheng Yi Kin and Ah Sa entering their tenth year of marriage.  
They began to have problems and became upset with everything about each 
other, finally leading to an off track affair.

THE FINAL SUPPER

	The Lu Chuan directed, Daniel Wu (Ng Yin Cho), Chang Chen and Liu 
Ye starred FINAL not only covered the familiar classic of the Feast at 
Hong Gate but also brought to life three historical figures Liu Bang, Yu 
Xiang and Han Xin's turbulent lives.  Lu Chuan through a new historical 
angle interpreted the story of the Hong Gate Feast anew.  However this 
film during inspection was described as satirizing the present with the 
past, the authorities demanded a lot of editing before its release.  One 
wonders whether that would affect the completeness of the story.

	This film is Jackie Chan directed and starred treasure hunt that 
cost 300 million RMB to produce.  It was shot on location in Paris, 
Beijing, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Australia, and Lativa.  In the story Jackie 
Chan in order to receive the international relics trafficker Lawrence's 
large sum reward looked everywhere for the Old Summer Palace's final 
four lost Chinese Zodiac statues.

* (2012/11/01) The Julian Cheung Chi Lam and Annie Liu (Lau Sum Yau) 
starred new film NATURAL BORN LOVERS (TIN SUN OI CHING KONG) after less 
than a week in release so far has made almost 4 million, thus the cast 
and the crew scheduled a celebration for tonight before Chilam take off 
for TRIUMPH IN THE SKIES 2 (CHONG SEUNG WON SIU 2) location shoot.  
Chilam earlier took time out earlier for audience appreciation with Sum 
Yau, Christine Kuo and others at Mongkok cinemas.  When he arrived three 
generations of female viewers shrieked, a granny even sent him well 
wishes for his son.
	Because the audience was too enthusiastic, the cinema operators 
had to play temporary security and even took the team to back door to 
leave.  When Chilam and others stuffed in the back alley for photos, 
fans pushed the door hard to see stars and hit Sum Yau in the back.  
Luckily she was fine.  Sum Yau said, "I was dumb, not smart enough to 
duck out of the way."

* (2012/11/01) William Chan Wai Ting recently promoted his Emperor Motion 
Picture TRIAD (JAT JIK) frequently.  The film company even pulled out 
William and Deep Ng Ho Hong's competition to be the "boss" and posted 
Chan Wai Ting and Ng Ho Hong posters to campaign in Kowloon.  Some 
mobsters were upset and earlier even called to "threaten" the film 
company to remove the posters.  The film company admitted that it has 
received threatening calls.  "Earlier we indeed received some calls from 
vicious people, telling us not to mess up their order and demanding us to 
quickly remove the posters!  (Would you consider calling the police?)  
Because we really don't know who the person was, for now we don't have 
any plan to."
	TRIAD star Chan Wai Ting said, "In other words everyone responded 
to the promotional posters, which is a good thing.  Later I will 
constantly promote in Mongkok and won't be too worried.  The campaign 
poster is just a promotional gimmick, no one needs to take it too 
seriously."

* (2012/11/01) Actor Lau Siu Ming's wife Cheung Wai Ling passed away 
earlier.  Ming Sir who has been married for 50 years yesterday held a 
memorial at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Sai Wan Ho.  Friends Damien 
Lau Chung Yan, Anthony Wong Chau Sun, Sunny Chan Kam Hung, Amy Kwok Oi 
Ming, Chung King Fai, Melissa Ng Mei Hung, Perry Chiu Woon and Ursule 
Wong Yu Sze came to pay their respect.  Yesterday the ceremony was 
Catholic.  Ming Sir revealed that later the burial will take place at a 
Catholic cemetery.  During the farewell ceremony, Ming Sir was very 
sadden and wiped his tears with tissue.  He also walked over and touched 
the photo of his wife in his son's hands.  Later he also walked over to 
the coffin in silence.  Ming Sir's daughter greeted family and friends.  
Ming Sir was asked whether his emotions have settled.  He said, "Starting 
today it is a little better.  My mood keeps on changing.  Sometimes it is 
good, sometimes it is very strange."  He admitted that he was reluctant 
to part.  The passing of his wife made him lose a lot because he has 
always relied on his wife's support.  He said, "I constantly would work 
in show business, we have been apart more than together.  Now the scenes 
cannot appear again, but because of her a lot of beautiful memories and 
scenes are left in life."
	Ming Sir said that he and his wife had many happy days and that 
as his wife departed she still encouraged him.  He said, "She said I was 
a dancer of dusk and sunset glow.  I shouldn't after her passing feel that 
it is a mourning.  She told me to live in the evening glow.  I was very 
touched."  Ming Sir also said that after his wife passed, recently he 
found a blade of grass at the Peak.  He said, "The grass was like the one 
that we made a promise to each other when we were in love.  I took a photo 
of this blade of grass and put it in the memorial program in memory of 
her."  Will Ming Sir take a break from work?  He said, "Many friends say 
that emotions will never settle, I can only rely on work to be able to 
increase motivation."  Chan Kam Hung said that he was Ming Sir's 
"teacher" because over ten years ago they performed a Buddhist play in 
Singapore.  At the time he played Ming Sir's teacher.  After that time 
they often met.  Kam Hung said, "They were the model couple.  His wife was 
even the female role model, family came first for her.  Ming Sir's wife 
took care of him before.  When she was sick, Ming Sir was a dutiful

COLD WAR PLAYERS

	The film INFERNAL AFFAIRS (MO GAN DOH) after ten years has been 
made a classic, a police film that is second to none.  Since then films 
of the same genre are no longer sustainable.  Film professionals 
reminisce the classic, recently a police film COLD WAR (HONG JING) 
finally appears.  The story comes from two unknown new directors Sunny 
Luk Kim Ching and Longman Leung Lok Man.  Many industry outsiders who 
were skeptical after seeing the film mentioned it in the same breath as 
INFERNAL and even stated that it will be a new classic.  Looking back the 
script's origin is a petty story, originally it was planned to be a 
small investment, unexpectedly it had assistance from two Best Actors 
Tony Leung Ka Fai and Aaron Kwok Fu Sing.  Since the box office determines 
the hero, the result awaits the voting of viewer admission.  Yet the two 
directors have already experienced the film industry as the dream factory 
where anything can happen. - HO WING NING
	Earlier the two directors Luk Kim Ching and Leung Lok Man promoted 
the film COLD WAR with an interview.  With their script becoming a film, 
they said that they still felt like if they were dreaming.  Since test 
screenings began the word of mouth has gradually grown.  The entertainment 
circle that has supported the hits and dismissed the misses went from 
neglecting the two director to endless interviews in the brink of an 
eye.  For two people who have already toiled in the film industry for ten 
years, they have already seen everything.  The only thing that they were 
not used to was the flashing lights.  An assistant director of many 
years, Sunny in comparison to film artist Longman was more familiar as he 
has guest starred in countless films.  He joked, "In JIANG HU: THE TRIAD 
ZONE (GONG WU GO GUP) I played Leung Ka Fai's driver.  I performed the 
most in Brother Jing (Wong Jing)'s movies."

Mad Idea Of Police Car Hijack
	The original of the COLD script is rather petty story.  Sunny 
said, "Five years ago Longman and I were thinking about a story called 
WINTER PREVENTION BEAT (DONG FONG GAN), about how the police prevents 
winter crimes.  After awhile we felt it lacked potential so we stopped.  
Then one day on the way home, I passed by a dead end alley with always 
had a police car slacking off there.  Suddenly I was inspired, would 
hijacking a police car work?  I asked a friend on the beat, actually it 
would work.  So I started thinking about the story after that."
	With the ongoing U.S. Presidential campaign, Obama and McCain
battled for the presidency.  Their sharp debates deeply attracted the two 
directors.  Thus they came up with two deputy police commissioners Leung 
Ka Fai and Kwok Fu Sing who were compete to be the next commissioner, 
which even became the backbone of the entire story.  After almost 4 years 
of after work research, they finally completed the script.  During that 
period they still had to work on other films.  Looking back the initial 
idea actually was not as grand as it is today.  Longman who rarely speaks 
said, "We haven't officially been directors.  With the script we thought 
we would mess around a little.  We never thought the production would be 
so huge.  However when the investor sent the script to the Mainland for 
inspection, only the ending had to change a little and didn't pass our 
bottom line.  So today we have COLD WAR."

Stumbling As First Time Director
	The start of the COLD WAR production was like a dream to the two 
directors.  When the two Best Actors took their marks and rehearsed the 
script, at the moment they suddenly realized that the dream has already 
come true.  Sunny added, "The movie was truly made, from the planning to 
the start the feeling wasn't very real.  Then we started the table read 
and saw two Best Actors sitting with us.  In the past as the assistant 
director where could I sit, at that moment after taking pictures then I 
felt it was real."  Even when they took their marks their professional 
disorder often acted up, automatically they went to handle something that 
was not the directors' responsibility.  Sunny on the first day 
automatically went to decorate the scenery on the set, his assistant 
director had to remind him and said, "Brother Sunny let me take care of 
that" before he sat down in the director chair to wait for work to begin.  
Longman's situation was not much better.  When the production assistant 
as the art department for props, he immediately blurred out, "Coming".  
Only when the entire team stared at him did he realize that his identity 
was already the director.  Longman laughed as he recalled, "The first day 
of calling it a day took the most getting used to, I have never done it 
before.  The funniest part was after work Sunny and I went out to take 
public transportation home, the production assistant had to remind us, 
'Directors you have rides' before we remembered that the director had a 
ride home."
	Sunny joined the business during the Cinema City era.  Starting 
from not knowing anything as the production assistant on his first film 
CASINO RAIDERS 2 (JI JUEN MO SEUNG 2) on guts alone, he has seen anything 
and everything in the business.  "Who would teach you when you start 
working, if you ask all the time people would yell at you.  On the first 
day of work something happened right away.  I had to mark down on the 
film which had to be developed and which didn't, due to rain all the words 
got blurry and all the film was developed.  Luckily I didn't get fired."

Solving the Way to Success
	After years in the business Sunny has been on the receiving end 
of many big time actors and directors' tantrum.  "You know film is a 
'problem industry', during the production a lot had to be taken care of.  
You had to complete even the director's most unreasonable demand unless 
you quit.  I have seen many Heavenly King class actors for their own 
pride forcing their own stuff and destroying the story structure without 
any care."  He has worked behind the scene on foreign film THE DARK 
KNIGHT and THIEVES and felt that the success of foreign films was not 
only due to their ample resources.  He said, "Let's skip Hollywood film, 
Korean film THIEVES did all the pre production ahead of the shoot.  When 
you got there they took their marks.  They wouldn't in the last minute 
add or remove lines.  Any problem with the dialogue should have been 
corrected at the table read.  During the shoot every minute is money."
	Industry insiders who have seen the advanced screening of COLD 
mentioned it in the same breath as the classic INFERNAL AFFAIRS.  The two 
directors' first reaction was they did not dare.  Longman felt that 
other people's comparison was due to both being police films.  "INFERNAL 
AFFAIRS is a classic, people's comparison may be due to the similarity in 
genres.  You can't compare films of two eras anyway.  Of course we are 
happy that people would make that comparison, but we don't dare to be 
mentioned in the same breath as such an outstanding film.  As for a sequel 
it is too early to talk about, we will wait until the film officially 
opens before thinking about anything else."

Must See Spots: Drama Galore

	First they absolutely are not and dare not to be spoilers.  The 
five major scenes below are purely written due to COLD WAR's dramatic 
spirit.  The fact is as soon as you step inside the cinema and the movie 
starts playing, the directors do not allow you to have any space to 
think.  The intense story will leave you catching your breath.

Negotiations Always Have To Be in Mid Air
	Since INFERNAL AFFAIRS when Tony Leung Chiu Wai and Anthony Wong 
Chau Sun talked about secrets on the roof, whenever a movie has 
negotiations they always have to take place high places.  This time the 
film arranged to shoot in the highest in Hong Kong Sky100 for Leung Ka 
Fai and Kwok Fu Sing to clear the air.  To avoid spoilers we skip over 
the content of the conversation, we can only say that it includes the 
light and darkness contrast between indoors and outdoors in the shoot, 
which has always been a cinematographer's nightmare.  However this year 
you can clearly see Kwok Fu Sing's pretty face and the Victoria Harbor 
scenery all thanks to the digital technology production.

Andy Lau's Dominating Appearance
	No matter how dramatic a movie is, the audience ultimately needs 
a spot to breathe.  We absolutely deeply believes when the two directors 
created and cast they never expected to have this effect -- the appearance 
of Andy Lau Tak Wa as the Secretary for Security.  When he met with Kwok 
Fu Sing as the Deputy Police Commissioner and delivered the English line 
"Tier One Response", the entire audience for some reason laughed.  
Reportedly it took place in several advanced screening and was unexpected 
during the production, perhaps Lau Tak Wa's image was too well known.

Two Best Actors Stir Up The Climax
	One of the most shocking acting duel in the film has Best Actors 
Leung Ka Fai and Kwok Fu Sing as Deputy Police Commissioners of operation 
and administration.  The war hawk Leung Ka Fai recommended taking a tough 
stance against police car hijackers, but Kwok Fu Sing objected.  They 
led to a power struggle argument climax.  According to the directors, 
this argument was shot on Leung Ka Fai's first day.  Without any advanced 
brewing he was still convincing.  No wonder industry insiders stated that 
Ka Fai would have hopes to become a Best Actor again.

Ka Fai Blasts Aarif Rahman
	COLD sold daram and the actor's acting.  Later in the end when 
Leung Ka Fai is under the Independent commission Against Corruption's 
investigation, he thoroughly displays his war hawk character's true 
nature and realizes his Best Actor abilities as he completely overshadows 
co=star Aarif Rahman (Lee Chi Ting)'s part.  That exciting reading of "In 
the 30 years at the Police Force I have learned one thing, every 
department, every post......has its own set of rules.  The first thing is 
to learn it."  He fully shows off worldly domination of a veteran.  The 
scene also invites former ICAC deputy director of operations Alex Tsui Ka 
Kit to guest star.

Gun Fight, Car Explosion Risks Lives
	As a police film, no matter how outstanding the story is, how 
sharp and to the point the lines are, for the audience who seeks sensory 
stimulations explosive and exciting action sequences cannot be missed.  
In comparison COLD WAR may not have a lot of action, but in the scene in

  During the early years of the Republic era, in the North-East region of
  China, the people are suffering from the power struggle among the local
  Warlords, bandits, and Japanese invaders. Warlord Lam is not a leader of
  great vision, but having a patriotic heart, stands firm in his own
  beliefs, despite the several solicitations and temptations from Japan. 

  The only ‘paradise’ within the region is ‘Lucky Town’, the one place
  where no one dared to attack. Rumors abound that this place is cursed,

  The Japanese secret agent, Kiyoko Kurosawa, allied with traitors from
  the Tiger’s Den: Tiger Hong, Jaguar Hong and Phoenix Hong, to set up a
  secret outpost to send secret-coded messages back to Japan. Young
  patriots, Yan Fang who disguised herself as a man, and Howard Luo,
  infiltrate Tiger’s Den at night, trying to steal the code book. They
  lose the fight to the Hongs, Howard sacrifices himself to save Yan who
  was wounded.

  On the run, Yan is rescued by Cheryl. Mistaking Yan as a man, Cheryl
  falls for Yan. She then brings Yan to Lucky Town and begs the Seven
  Masters to cure Yan. 

  On the other hand, Warlord Lam saves a pretty lady and grows fond of
  her. This lady is actually Kiyoko Kurosawa in disguise. Using Ninjutsu

  Frankie is brought up in a strict middle class family, but like any
  other adolescence, he is curious about sex during puberty, so he turns

  Jing, Frankie has the opportunity of camping with his crush Zoey, and
  spending time alone with her, during which he loses his virginity to
  her...not quite! He turns out to be doing the well-known ugly she-boy
  from school!

  The episode devastates Frankie, and he decides to leave Hong Kong for
  the U.K. to continue his study, where he acquaints with lecherous senior
  James. Frankie is in a rapport and stable relationship with Zeta after

  anxious and sets certain restrictions, not only does it forbid Frankie
