* (2012/10/17) Karena Ng Chin Yu last year signed with Raymond Wong Pak 
Ming's Pegasus Motion Pictures.  In less than 2 years in the business she 
has already made 3 films.  Most recently she has been busy with LOVE IS 
PAJAMAS (NAM YUN YU YI FOK).  In it she and Ronald Cheng Chung Kei played 
a couple, but off screen she and Raymond Lam Fung due to frequent 
appearances became linked in rumors.  She expected rumors and would not 
deliberately avoid him.
	Ng Chin Yu in LOVE IS PAJAMAS played a male underwear designer 
Teresa Mo Shun Kwan's daughter.  As they tried to present designs to the 
boss, Ng Chin Yu ran into the Cheng Chung Kei played extra and was 
inspired to create.  They even developed a light relationship.
	Ng Chin Yu in the film did not have many intimate scenes but 
working with Cheng Chung Kei led to many bad takes for her.  She said, 
"He naturally is full of comedy, just from looking at him I want to 
laugh.  Finally I had bad takes all the time.  I could only learn from 
him how to grasp the pace of comedy."  She admitted that she would like to 
become an action actress.  Without any kung fu training she was not afraid 
of getting hurt.  She would like to work with Chen Kun and even praised 
his acting in FLYING SWORDS OF DRAGON GATE (LUNG MOON FEI GAP) as very 
outstanding.
	Speaking of rumors with Lam Fung, Ng Chin Yu said that reports 
were just reports.  She said that every time they have been caught they 
would have a large group of people around them.  They have never went out 
alone.  "We are both single and I expected rumors.  I read the reports 
like a story, my friends won't be nosy."
	For now she did not want to date because work has already taken 
up a lot of time.  She did not have spare time to cultivate a 
relationship, she might as well properly operate her career while she was 
young.  She thanked boss Wong Pak Ming for continuously giving her chances 
to try different characters.  She felt that she was a very lucky girl.  
As for her future, she dared not set her goals too grand.  She wanted to 
do well with what she had presently and slowly accumulate experience.

* (2012/10/17) Gillian Chung Yun Tung originally was scheduled to guest 
star two days ago in the Charlene Choi Cheuk Yin starred film SUPER 
MANAGER (CHIU CUP GAING LEI YUN), but she did not appear.  Yesterday she 
posted a photo in her sick bed.  "Several days ago I had appendicitis, I 
was hospitalized for the first time, had general anaesthesia for the first 
time and remained at a hospital for the first time.  Now I am already 
resting at home, but it still hurt."

* (2012/10/17) Aaron Kwok Fu Sing, Chin Kar Lok and Gordon Lam Ka Tung 
yesterday attended a Hong Kong Asian Film festival 2012 press conference.  
Their film COLD WAR (HONG JIN) has been received to be this year's Asian 
Film Festival opening film.  Yesterday the actors and two new directors 
Longman Leung Lok Man and Sunny Luk Kim Ching shared their production 
experience.
	Kwok Fu Sing said that lately he has been very busy, aside from 
promoting COLD WAR he also had to work on a telecommunication commercial.  
His previous one was 15 years ago.  Later he will head to the U.S. for a 
China Film Festival.  The 26th will be Sing Sing's birthday.  Will he be 
in Hong Kong?  He admitted that he will have returned to Hong Kong.  Will 
he save a day to celebrate?  Sing Sing said that actually it did not 
matter, to him birthdays already left little to no impression.  He even 
said, "I will turn 45 very soon, but I get younger and younger and I don't 
know what to do.  I can only ruin myself."
	Earlier on Lynn Xiong (Hung Doi Lam)'s birthday, he reportedly 
spent 14 hours with her.  Sing Sing said, "I am not talking about 
gossips."  As for his manager Siu Mei earlier posted a garbage comment 
online, some online claimed that Siu Mei was referring to Lynn.  Sing 
Sing pointed out that Siu Mei has already clarified.  "Don't circle 
about this, we have worked together for years.  I know that she has a 
tough time arranging my work and negotiating commercials.  Sometimes she 
even had to handle other people's matter.  When the interpersonal doesn't 
reach her demand, it's very normal for her to go online for release.  No 
one should just color by number, everyone should understand her emotions."  
Would Sing Sing comfort Lynn who was innocently swept in?  He said, 
"Absolutely not."  Did he feel Lynn was very innocent?  Sing Sing joked 
that he was being pigeon-holed.  Instead he felt like he was being 
targeted and he was more innocent.
	Sing Sing also said that as long as people who knew Siu Mei would 
not misunderstand he was fine.  People ultimately needed a place for 
release, like he would choose to run.  Would he feel like he was between 
a rock and a hard place?  He said, "How can anyone think so complicated?  
Watch COLD WAR."  In addition, Sing Sing would like COLD WAR to be made 
into a Hollywood version with Matt Damon playing his character and 
Leonardo DiCaprio as Tony Leung Ka Fai's.  Director Leung Lok Man and Luk 
Kim Ching said that earlier when we went to Korea for a film festival and 
the response was decent.  They also heard that Hollywood companies have 
contacted them.  They also said that with a good response they could make 
a second installment.
	Recently Chin Kar Lok and Angela Tong Ying Ying were reportedly 
to wed on November 13th at Ocean Park's Panda exhibit and the wedding 
ceremony will take place on the 15th.  Kar Lok admitted that the panda 
exhibit wedding was their idea because in recent years they have been 
called Ying Ying Lok Lok, just like the national treasure giant pandas' 
names.  Would it be very expensive?  He said not.  Kar Lok said that the 
hardest part, the number of attendees, has been taken care of.  He joked 
that the most dangerous was asking Eric Tsang Chi Wai to be the host.  He 
said that earlier at a meeting Chi Wai was already going off the script, 
like "you deserve what you got today".  Kar Lok said that now he and Ying 
Ying began to regret his invitation a little.  Was he afraid that Chi Wai 
would be absent?  He believed that he would not be.  He was worried that 
the night before he would be drunk.  He joked that he would have to make 
a "drunk chair" for Chi Wai because every time he drank he would slump 
over.

* (2012/10/17) Wong Jing recently returned to YOUNG AND DANGEROUS (GOO 
WAT JAI) film with YOUNG AND DANGEROUS RELOADED (GOO WAT JAI ji GONG WU 
SUN DIT JUI).  In recent days several actors including Law Chung Him, 
Oscar Leung Lit Wai, Lam Chi Sin and others have been busy at work.
	Two nights ago Him Jai, Lit Wai, Chi Sin and Chong Si Man were 
working in Wanchai.  Him Jai wore low cut top and a leather jacket and 
showed off his chest muscles and tattoos.
	Director Wong Jing personally instructed on the set, chatting 
and laughing with the actors.  Two nights ago the group was eating in 
Wanchai.  As a lesbian Chong Si Man had an intimate scene with an actress 
and even shared a kiss.  During the shoot, director Patrick Kong (Yip Lim 
Sum) passed by and deliberately greeted Wong Jing.
	The film has been in production for several days.  So far Paul 
Wong Koon Chung and Sammy Sum Chun Hin have not been seen yet.  Brother 
Jing has been satisfied with the cast's performance.  Many shots took only 
one take and the process has been smooth.

* (2012/10/17) The new film TRIAD (JAT JIK) had many actor fights and 
chases.  Earlier William Chan Wai Ting, Derek Tsang Kwok Cheung and Edward 
Chui Woai Tung even dressed like Wise Guys and stepped onto the streets 
of Yau Ma Tei for a scene in which they pursued the Lam Lei played mob 
boss Temper Ming.
	In the fight between two gangs of Wise Guys, Tsang Kwok Cheung 
who was busted over in order to dodge Temper Ming's strike ran in the 
busy streets of Yau Ma Tei.  Because Tsang Kwok Cheung's bloodied look was 
too realistic, pedestrians were shocked and thought a mob hit was taking 
place.  Some were able to call the police.  When the director yelled "cut" 
they realized that they were only making a movie.
	Later Tsang Kwok Cheung said, "I have never run that far in one 
breath.  After the cameras stopped I felt like my lungs were about to 
explode."  Speaking of scaring some pedestrians, he said, "During the 
shoot I already gave my all and ran, hoping that I was able to finish it 
in one take.  With blood on my face people truly were terrified."

* (2012/10/17) Tony Leung Ka Fai accepted BEST ACTOR host Luisa Lai Chi 
San's interview.  He talked about friends in the business.  He and Andy 
Lau Tak Wa were in the same training class.  Once they were assigned to 
play Chow Yun Fat's subordinates.  They designed special characteristics 
and finally the crew scolded them with foul language in return.  Aside from 
training class classmate Lau Tak Wa, another friend was Gor Gor 
(Leslie Cheung Kwok Wing).
	Leung Ka Fai said that at first he and Gor Gor could not get 
along.  Gor Gor even felt that he was pretending to be aloof and was 
promiscuous.  Later because Gor Gor loved badminton and met Leung Ka Fai's 
relative, Gor Gor realized that his opinion of him was wrong.  After 
clearing up the misunderstanding, their acting chemistry reached a new 
level.  Meanwhile the director who Leung Ka Fai admired the most was 
Sammo Hung Kam Bo.
	Speaking of his rumor with Maggie Cheung Man Yuk, he said that 
when he worked with her in New York on the film FAREWELL CHINA (OI JOI 
BIT HEUNG DIK GWAI JIT).  He felt that working overseas for a woman was 
very tough, so he took care of her.  Actually back then Leung Ka Fai's 
wife also tagged along.  His wife and Cheung Man Yuk were close in age 
and both studied in England, so they had some things in common.  After 
the rumor Leung Ka Fai once suggested less contact with Cheung Man Yuk 
as he did not want to affect her, but Cheung Man Yuk did not mind 
and made him feel that being able to find a good friend in the business 
was truly rare.  He also shared how he and his wife Kong Ka Nin met.  
Back then they were both working at Radio Hong Kong and he fell in love 
at first sight with her. They dated for half a year and decided to wed.  
At the time he only had HK$8,000 in his saving account.  "We bought the 
rings, rented a hotel suite, invited a dozen or so friends to dinner.  
That was our wedding ceremony."  Before Lai Chi San was in the business 
Leung Ka Fai pursued her.  She said, "Once Leung Ka Fai was about to pick 
me up after school, but in the last time he was called away and he asked 
a friend for help.  His friend brought flowers to the school, and the 
principle yelled at me."  Leung Ka Fai said that at the first Lai Chi San 
was young so they did not continue on.

* (2012/10/16) Jackie Chan's CZ12 (SUP YI SUN CHIU) two days ago held a 
press conference.  Director and star Jackie Chan, producer Wang Zhonglei 
and new "Chan Girls" Yao Xingtong, Zhang Lanxin, Laura Weissbecker, and 
Liao Fan all attended. The Bird's Nest also for the first time changed 
for a film as it opened the five story Dragon Ladder as a salute to Jackie 
Chan.
	CZ12 is Huayi Brothers and Big Brother Jackie Chan's third 
collaboration.  Earlier ROB B HOOD (BO BUI GAI WAT) and FORBIDDEN 
KINGDOM both performed at the box office and on word of mouth.  After 
three collaborations, Wang Zhonglei said that he had some new experience 
with Jackie Chan.  Actually he liked to whine.  He took out a mobile 
phone and read a "whining" text message from a year ago from Jackie Chan 
between the tough production.  "Good Brother, the weather has not been 
great these few days.  It's been quite a rush.  On the cloudy day from 
6:30AM I alone was in the shoot, the whole time on wires and in mid air.  
In the afternoon for lunch I was finally lowered.  Today's temperature 
was only two degrees Celsius, 280 big fans blew at me as I flew in the 
air.  Even my face changed shape.  I think this is a great idea for 
beauty treatment for girls!  You can imagine how cold, how bitter, how 
tired and how much pain I am in!  I didn't even eat lunch because the 
fan and the wires give me quite a headache.  After lunch I have more 
hanging and flying just keep rush rush rush!  At night with all the 
spotlights I am still at the shoot, finally finishing at 10:30PM.  After 
work I still have bid farewell to a big group of fans who haven't eaten,  
tolerated hunger and cold and waited outside all day with autographs and 
photos.  Around 11;45PM we finally ate.  Then a big group of people came 
to my room to discuss post production.  Originally I thought I would be 
very excited about the completion, but everyone was very lost as the 
movie that took seven years to prepare and over a year to produce has 
finally come to an end!  This is something that people like you who are 
in the office all day, with heat in the winter and air conditioning in 
the summer, speculating stocks in air conditioning, spa and massage after 
lunch, red wine and cigar after dinner, BS and womanizing can't 
experience!"
	Wang Zhonglei said that at the time because of the international 
number he had no idea who it was, so he replied "who are you".  Later 
Jackie Chan jokingly sent a "whining" text message, "Brother, I just left 
you for one short month and you already forgot about me.  I am risking my 
life to work for you in Lativa and you ask me who am I!  Let me tell you 
who I am now!  I am your partner and director, screen writer, action 
director, lead actor all in one.  People of different races around the 
world only has to see the hair, the shadow, the action, the nose, hear 
the voice to recognize the world film, television, music action Heavenly 
King class international global superstar.  Who do you think I am?"  Big 
Brother Jackie Chan said that because the CZ12 production was too 
difficult, after 52 years in film it was the first film that tears fell 
after completion.  When the crew yelled "wrap", he immediately left.  He 
was afraid that if he stayed longer he would cry.  He said that he rarely 
cried, even when he broke his leg.  Truly because it was very exhausting 
he would.  Those not on the set would not be able to experience that.

* (2012/10/16) Jacqueline Chong Si man, JJ Jia (Ga Hiu Sun), Oscar Leung 
Lit Wai and others yesterday attended the TVB J2 BIG BOY CLUB promotion.  
Recently Wai Wai in the film YOUNG AND DANGEROUS RELOADED (GOO WAT JAI: 
GONG WU SUN DIT JUI) played Chicken and had the most scenes with Chong 
Si Man, only that they did not have a bed scene.  He joked that maybe she 
did not want to be with him.  If it was with Philip Ng Won Lung or Law 
Chung Him she might be very will.  Wai Wai said that this was the most 
extreme time in his film career.  On the first night of work he already 
had intimate scenes with two women in a back alley and it was very 
daring.  He was very embarrassed because at the time he only wore a pair 
of underwear.  In the film the women removed his pants.  The tea worried 
that he would have a biological response.  To avoid his important area 
appearing on the big screen, he wore a pair of tight pants to 
deliberately reduce the bulge.  For this year's Leaping Male Artist 
Award he and Law Chung Him are both favorites.  Reportedly Him Jai would 
sign with TVB in exchange for the award.  He said that he has been in 
the business for over ten years.  He longed for an award to thank his 
family and friends with.  He was confident in himself.
	Chong Si Man also had a part in YOUNG AND DANGEROUS as the 
preacher's daughter.  In the film she had to use foul language.  She and 
Wai Wai played happy rivals.  As for their height difference, she said 
that thus they were not playing a couple and clarified that Wai Wai was 
not too short.  They only had an inch or two difference.

* (2012/10/16) Lau Siu Ming's wife Cheung Wai Ling passed away at the age 
of 72 last Friday.  Ming Sir was heart broken about his wife's passing.  
His friends and family have been by his side, hoping that his sorrowful 
emotions would gradually settle down.  This was also what Mrs. Lau wanted.
	Since Mrs. Lau was diagnosed with cancer in 2007, Ming Sir has 
always been by her side and almost half retired from show business.  He 
spent most of his time with his wife and fought the cancer with her.  Mrs. 
Lau also deeply sensed Ming Sir's meticulous love.  
	Friends in show business and cultural world knew Mrs. Lau.  When 
they learned about her illness they visited her at the hospital.  They 
included Damien Lau Chung Yun, Anthony Wong Chau Sun, Choi Sown Le and 
others.  Unfortunately Mrs. Lau succumbed to cancer and passed away last 
Friday.  Ming Sir and their two children and closest family members were 
by her side.  Ming Sir was inconsolable and very reluctant to part, but he 
knew that he could not give up and had to properly live on.  His wife 
never gave up in her final moment.  Mrs. Lau's funeral will be a Catholic 
ceremony and take place at the end of the month in Holy Cross Catholic 
Church.

* (2012/10/16) The film SUPER MANAGER (CHIU CUP GAING LEI YUN) yesterday 
held a production start ceremony.  Actors included Chapman To Man Jat, 
Charlene Choi Cheuk Yin and Mainland actor Gao Yunxiang, boss Albert 
Yeung Sau Sing and Ah Sa's manager Mani also attended.  In the film Ah 
Jat will play a manager.  He will sign eight new female new comers, 
including Jenny Lau Wai Huen, the "Monster Angel" who TVB director Gary 
Cheung Wing Ho abused.
	Ah Sa in the film also played a "gold label manager".  She joked 
that she would use her real life manager Mani's gestures as blue print for 
her performance.  The crew after watching her performance said that she 
was very convincing.  Ah Sa pointed out that Mani's management was 
parental style.  When she first started she was very scared.  Mani would 
often reminded them not to be too sexy and to watch out for wardrobe 
malfunction.  At the same time she would remind her not to go out at 
night and had spies all around.  Sometimes when she secretly went to a 
night spot, Mani would definitely call to ask if she went.  When she 
and her male make up artist went to shop for make up in Causeway Bay, she 
would also call to ask.  However now she and Mani are like friends and 
they got along very well.  Mani said that in the film Gao Yunxiang's 
character originally was intended for Ah Sa's boyfriend William Chan Wai 
Ting, but because it was a co-production it must have a Mainland actor.  
Speaking of unable to work with her boyfriend, Ah Sa said that she would 
not mind working as a couple with her boyfriend.
	Ah Jat supported Lau Wai Huen after the abuse was exposed and 
even yelled at Cheung Wing Ho.  This time did Ah Jat help Lau Wai Huen 
land this role?  Ah Jat said that this time he was only an actor and 
the casting was left to the producer and the director to decide.  However 
she praised Lau Wai Huen was a smart actress.  When she made a mistake or

	Lau Wai Huen said that she thanked the director for giving her 
a chance this time.  As for Cheung Wing Ho only receiving a warning 
letter but the worker who posted the video was suspended, she believed 
that the company handling was appropriate.  Ah Jat said that next time if 
she ran into something unfair she would have to yell "no", she said as an 
artist she would handle it.  This incident warned her about how powerful 
the media was.

* (2012/10/16) Dior Cheng Yi Kin earlier accepted the BEST ACTOR host 
Luisa Lai Chi San's interview.  Cheng Yi Kin said that his "fun loving" 
nature has never changed since he started in the business.  He thought 
that his character could not be changed.  He felt that in an entertainment 
career first he had to entertain himself to be able to create 
entertainment for viewers.
	Lai Chi San said that Cheng Yi Kin gave people a "good man" 
image.  Back then he also promised to take care of Maggie Siu Mei Kei for 
a lifetime but in the end he was unable to fulfill it.  Has he thus 
changed his view on love?  Cheng said no, his parents wed with their first 
relationship.  He even said that that was a mistake.  He originally hoped 
to be able to do it, but after growing up he realized that life was not 
that simple.  Everyone had a different experience.   Speaking of Gigi 
Leung Wing Kei, he said that he would describe their relationship as 
"powerful" and that the relationship left memories.  However a 
relationship depend on both parties and had many elements.  It was not so 
simple.  Speaking of Yoyo Mung Ka Wai, he admitted that they will wed next 
year.  He also said that her "fun loving" personality was double him.  
When asked about what about Mung Ka Wai attracted him the most, he said 
it was destiny.  "I feel it's her then it's her".  He even said that 
two people needed to accommodate and cherish their relationship.
	Lai Chi San said that Cheng Yi Kin was a very thoughtful person.  
She revealed that when she was dating him she received his identification 
card as a birthday gift because he said that he would give her his most 
valuable thing.  As for pleasant surprises, Cheng said that a thoughtful 
memory only needed to be done once.  Repeating it would be meaningless.
	Lai Chi San said that today's Cheng Yi Kin still has the same 
personality but with more stability.  She even congratulated Mung Ka Wai 
on being able to meet this stage of Cheng Yi Kin and enjoyed his best 
side.  She wished them forever joy and happiness.

* (2012/10/15) Jackie Chan two days ago promoted his film CZ12 (SUP YI SUN 
CHIU) and producer Wang Zhonglei revealed a personal text message from 
him.  He complained about being on wires while suffering chills from the 
strong fan.  He not only had to sign autographs and pose for photos for 
fans, but also talk to the team about post production.  He joked that 
Jackie Chan enjoyed whining more than a girl.
	Speaking of this memory, Jackie Chan took the chance to complain.  
"Making a movie is too tough, after the wrap I didn't expect tears to 
automatically flow.  I was afraid that I would cry so I walked away.  
Normally I couldn't cry even when I broke my leg."  He also through the 
film to remember the late art director Oliver Wong Yui Man who he has 
worked with for many years.  "When I heard about Wong Yui Man's passing, 
I couldn't stop crying at home.  This was his final film, and the last 
film that I fought from the beginning to the end.  We both gave our all 
in hopes of achieving a good performance like before."

* (2012/10/15) The Chow Yun Fat, Huang Xiaoming, Sammo Hung Kam Bo and 
Francis Ng Chun Yu starred THE LAST TYCOON (DAI SEUNG HOI) will be 
released during the holidays.  "Two generations of Hui Man Keung" Fat Gor 
and Huang Xiaoming in the film were in the chaos of the Bund in the 30s 
and the 40s.  Because they were swept into a mob dispute, they not only 
were armed to fended off enemies but also traversed on the edge of many 
dangerous explosions.
	Fat Gor in the film had to perform in explosions and gun fire.  
Producer Andrew Lau Wai Keung and director Wong Jing very strictly 
enforced safety precautions.  This time they paid for the safety 
explosion technology that money could buy, and asked the crew to test it 
until it had no problem before inviting Fat Gor to the set.  Fat Gor joked 
with Lau Wai Keung and Wong Jing and often took the camera to take 
pictures of the workers' intense looks during the tests.

* (2012/10/15) The film INFERNO (TOH CHOOK SUN TIN) remembered the 
screen writer who passed away from cancer Szeto Kam Yuen. The director of 
his final film, Oxide Pang Shun led the cast and the crew including 
Angelica Lee Sinjie, Louis Koo Tin Lok, Lau Ching Wan to present incense 
to Szeto Kam Yuen before work begin, to wish him a smooth journey and his 
spirit would continue to remain with the team.  They even expressed that 
they definitely would finish Szeto Kam Yuen's final film as a salute to 
his enthusiasm for his work.

* (2012/10/15) Dada Chen Jing yesterday promoted Halloween in Causeway 
Bay.  Nominated for the Golden Horse Best Supporting Actress award with 
the film VULGARIA (DAI JOOK HEI KET), DaDa admitted that she left her 
award show fashion to her image designer.  She said, "It must be 
exciting, the result has to be very outstanding.  However I may have to 
gain weight to be able to have more fat on top.  I originally am a 'D 
Cup', I want my chest to be more centered to make the clothes look 
better."  She said that she is the happiest that Andy Lau Tak Wa is on 
this year's jury.  She hoped to have a chance to run into him or get a 
photo together.  She said, "Lau Tak Wa was my childhood idol.  I don't 
dare to embrace him.  I would be very happy with a photo."

* (2012/10/15) Known as "Mr. Cool" Louis Koo Tin Lok accepted the TVB 
BEST ACTOR program interview.  Actually before joining the business Goo 
Jai has worked many jobs, one of which was a summer job to wash frozen 
meat.  He was asked to wash a basin of skinned snakes.  He was so scared 
that after a day he quit.  Later he was a manager at a modeling company 
and guest starred as the male lead in many music videos.  Once he brought 
a model to TVB for a Miss Hong Kong promotional short film, an artist 
department employee saw that he looked decent and suggested for him to 
join the business.  A year later because his modeling company closed, he 
officially joined.
	The dark Goo Jai said that he liked having a tan because it 
felt healthy.  In addition, he never liked to appear on camera with make 
up.  The only way to appear on camera without make up was a dark tan.  
Because his tan easily fades, he would have to get one every two to three 
days.  Speaking of bidding farewell to television, his main reason was 
his body would not take it anymore.  When he made A STEP INTO THE PAST 
(CHUM CHUN GEI) he was very ill; the company also objected to his comedy 
route but he felt the series had a lot of more room for development.  
Thus he took the initiative to add in many funny elements, like in a 
costume scene he called Jessica Hsuan (Suen Huen) "bitch".  He also 
suggested to wear a tee shirt under the costume, only later he got sick 
and did not have the energy to add more.  Will he head to Hollywood?  He 
said, "I am fairly certain I won't."  Now Hong Kong film is declining, he 
should think about how to revive it.  As female lead choices are fewer 
and fewer and successors are hard to find, if he goes to work in 
Hollywood Hong Kong would have one less actor.
	Goo Jai has many friends in the business, but the most unexpected 
is he and Big Brother Ti Lung are very close.  He felt that Big Brother Ti 
Lung carries himself like a big hero and is very supportive of Hong Kong 
film.  He would watch every Hong Kong film and provide sincere opinions.  
If he does not perform well enough, he would hear from him directly.  He 
revealed that Big Brother Ti Lung once asked him to visit Mongkok in hopes 
of experiencing life.  He said that this way would drive the pedestrians 
very crazy, truly "either you or I die".
	Goo Jai had few rumors, one of which was music diva Sammi Cheng 
Sau Man.  He said that now he is the happiest that she is willing to eat.  
In the past she focused on work too much and felt that looks were very 
important.  Now she is more focused about what is inside.  Others thought 
that she would be hard to get close to, but Goo Jai worked with her from 
television to film and thought that she was very easy going and 
communicate with.  He praised her as a girl who is full of energy, vigor 
and vitality.  However speaking of choosing a lover and wife, his first 
choice would be Sandra Ng Kwan Yu because her humor will split people's 
belly; she also puts her daughter first.  She truly is "perfect".
	Goo jai said that he was the happiest about being able to go on 
vacation with his father.  When he made BURNING FLAMING (LIT FOR HUNG SUM) 
his father suffered a stroke and was on the brink of death.  Now he is 
already healed, he has lost a part of his memory and become more like a 
child.  He even shared some of the embarrassing and funny parts of his 
vacation with his father, which are beautiful memories.

* (2012/10/15) Dior Cheng Yi Kin and Charlene Choi Cheuk Yin again worked 
together on the film MY SASSY HUBBY (NGOR LO GUNG NG SUN SING), which will 
be released in December.  Because the film will be an extension of MY 
WIFE IS EIGHTEEN (NGOR LO POR NG GAU CHING), they also reprise their 
characters.  Ekin plays the "nagging" teacher Cheung Sap Sam, while Ah Sa 
plays the "vicious behind her beauty" school girl Yoyo.  However this time 
their relationship has already gradually become as light as water.  In 
addition they both have good looking romantic rivals as their marriage is 
on the brink.
	Returning to his role ten years later, Ekin admitted that he 
rather enjoyed it.  "This time of course would be grasped even better 
because I already have the first time.  It is easier to pick up.  During 
the first installment I had to rely on a go with the flow method, but 
this time I have to recapture the previous installment's feeling."  As for 
Ah Sa playing a couple with Ekin again, she felt like they have grown up 
together.  He said, "Playing Yoyo Ma again, I feel with every line I say, 
every expression and gesture I make, I really feel like we have 
experienced a ten year marriage.  Although over ten years we have been 
busy on our own and personally we have had different experience, but when 
we get together for the shoot, we realize that we have grown up a lot."

* (2012/10/15) The Wong Jing directed new film YOUNG AND DANGEROUS 
RELOADED (GOO WAT JAI: GONG WU SUN DIT JUI) two nights ago shot a fight 
scene in Mongkok and blocked off a part of the sidewalk.  As "Chicken" 
Oscar Leung Lit Wai took the lead in a fight scene, as he was chased and 
beaten.  He was even slapped.
	Wai Wai revealed that for the character he spent six hours at the 
hair salon for his hair, he even appeared in a white tank top; he joked 
that the tank top was already "Chicken's" limit.  As for fight scenes, 
in the film he also has a passionate bed scene but he does not know who 
his co-star will be.
	Wai Wai and the previous version's "Chicken" Jordan Chan Siu Chun 
are friends.  This time he asked Siu Chun about how to play the character 
and said, "Siu Chun told me not to be like him, to make an all new 
version of Chicken.  Actually their YOUNG AND DANGEROUS is a classic.  
Siu Chun hopes that we can create another classic."  Even so, YOUNG AND 
DANGEROUS left a deep impression with the audience.  Wai Wai admitted 
that he felt the pressure.  However after what Siu Chun said and even 
the previous "Big Head" Chin Kar Lok telling him not to hold back with his 
performance, now he is much more relaxed and tries to get into his 
character more.

* (2012/10/14) The Andy Lau Tak Wa and Lin Chiling starred SWITCH (FU CHUN 
SHAN GUI TOH) originally was to be released in early November, but the 
date has been pushed back further and further.  Earlier it was rumored 
that the film has not yet passed inspection in the film so its release had 
to be postponed even beyond Christmas.  Some of the film content 
reportedly damaged Mainland police image and the team has been requested 
to reshoot; some also said that this film had parts of fighting Japanese.  
With the Diaoyu Island incident anti Japanese sentiment, it was not 
suitable to add fuel to the fire.
	Reportedly, due to the requested additional shoot Lin Chiling's 
schedule has been messed up drastically.  Her fight scene would be 
increased.  Lin Chiling's film company said, "We have received the notice 
but had to wait for the detailed plan and script before we coordinate 
with a schedule change."

* (2012/10/14) Famous Hong Kong film and television screen writer Szeto 
Kam Yuen passed away in Hong Kong on October 13 2012 due to lung cancer 
at the age of 48.  Szeto Kam Yuen started in TVB and later joined 
Milkyway Image.  He was one for the nucleus member of the previous 
Milkyway Image and an important member of Hong Kong film.  He has written 
many popular films and television, movies like TOO MANY WAYS TO BE No. 1 
(YUT GOR JI TAN DIK DAN SUN), THE LONGEST NITE (UM FA), EXPECT THE 
UNEXPECTED (FEI SEUNG DUT YIN) and EXILED (FONG JOOK) and television 
series FILE OF JUSTICE (YUT HO WONG TING), POLICE CADET (SUN JAT SI 
HING), and STREET FIGHTERS (MIU GAI MA HING DAI).  Around 2000, Szeto 
Kam Yuen returned to TVB and wrote his representative work as well as 
Hong Kong television series peak AT THE THRESHOLD OF AN ERA (CHONG SAI 
GEI).  Then he again left TVB to write movies like LOVE BATTLEFIELD (OI 
JOK JIN), SPL (SAT POR LONG) and EXILED.
	Szeto Kam Yuen once wrote AT THE THRESHOLD OF AN ERA's famous line 
that accuses property companies from Hui Man Biu.  "Go outside and ask 
anyone, ask them what they want.  Their answer would be very simple, they 
only want a very ordinary, very ordinary home.  Why do they have to spend 
their lifetime to pay off a home?  Because those with money are playing 
them.  Is this world fair?!"  His final work is the Pang Brother directed, 
Louis Koo Tin Lok, Lau Ching Wan and Angelica Lee Sinjie starred INFERNO 
(TOH CHOOK SUN TIN), which is currently in production.
	Oxide Pang Shun who worked with Szeto Kam Yun for the first time 
yesterday was working on the film with Lau Ching Wan in Thailand.  When 
Pang Shun received a text message about Szeto's passing he could not hide 
his sorrow.  "Very regrettable.  This is our first collaboration.  
INFERNO is a film that we created together.  Over this half a year even 
though he was sick he still worked hard on creating.  I remembered around 
two months before the film started production, he even deliberately came 
to Thailand to discuss the script with me and my brother.  At the time he 
already had chemotherapy treatment.  During the period he felt discomfort 
and I even bought medicine for him.  I still remember that like it was 
yesterday.  He created this script from he was diagnosed with lung cancer 
to the passing now for an entire year.  Although he has already left us, 
we will turn his words into a movie and make his final work its best for 
it to be the best tribute."
	Ching Wan who has worked with Szeto on many films regretted that 
this talented screen writer's passing.  To extend Szeto's creative 
spirit, Ching Wan said, "Actually during this film's production, I already 
knew he was ill.  During the period a group of us who have worked with 
him met at (Johnnie) To Kei Fung's company for a group photo to cheer him 
on.  I believe that now what we have to do is to make INFERNO well with 
the production team."  In the photo were film professionals like To Kei 
Fung, Andrew Lau Wai Keung, Benny Chan Muk Sing, Louis Koo Tin Lok, and 
Daneil Lam Siu Ming.  On the photo they wrote, "We love you, for our 
dearest Szeto."  Szeto has seen this photo and well wish.
	To Kei Fung who has worked with Szeto for years said, "Wai Kar 
Fai, Yau Nai Hoi, Szeto Kam Yuen and I all started in TVB.  We have a 
deep relationship.  He was a very outstanding screen writer.  When I 
received this news this morning of course I was heart broken.  We worked 
hard in walking this final journey of life with him.  When he left he was 
very peaceful, I wish everyone would cherish life!"  Shawn Yue Man Lok 
said, "This is a loss for the film industry!  He was a very outstanding 
screen writer, I wish him a smooth journey!"

* (2012/10/14) Linda Wong Hing Ping, Wang Yuanyuan, Jessica Jann Kei 
Ching, Ankie Beilke, Rosemary and Lea Tassova attended an event two 
nights ago.  Wong Hing Ping happily said that under the media and many 
friends' encouragement she finally decided to perform a concert at Star 
Hall on December 16.  Because it was at least 11 years since her last 
concert, she did not want to choose a large venue like the Hong Kong 
Coliseum.  She admitted that she wanted to follow the film LOVE IN THE 
BUFF (CHUN GIU YU JI MING)'s momentum, even her good friend Vivian Chow 
Wai Man titled her concert DON'T ASK WHO I AM.  She thanked the film's 
director Pang Ho Cheung very much.  As for guests and details she is 
still considering it.  She wanted to invite many guests and hoped to 
invite Shawn Yue Man Lok to dress like his character in the film and sing 
with him.  Since she was used to exercise three or four times a week, she 
did not need to deliberately train.  However she has to start singing 
practice and memorizing lyrics.  As for sexy costumes, she asked, "If 
everyone feels I can, I can think about it."

* (2012/10/14) Oscar Leung Lit Wai yesterday modeled at a fashion show 
with Mandy Wong Chi Man.  Wai Wai later will work on Wong Jing's new 
version of YOUNG AND DANGEROUS, in which he will play Chicken.  He said 
that for now he only knows that Jacquline Chong Si Man will play KK 
while Paul Wong Koon Chung will play Uncle Bee.  He will even sing the 
theme song.  wai Wai said, "This time YOUNG's male cast is a few years 
younger than (Dior) Cheng Yi Kin and others."  He also praised Nicholas 
Tse Ting Fung's YOUNG AND DANGEROUS THE PREQUEL as a classic as well.  
Online comment about the new film poster of the entire cast in white 
looked just like a Korean Boy Band.  He laughed and said, "A Boy Band is 
good too!  Korean group Big Bang is quite a hit!"  He also said that 
turning YOUNG AND DANGEROUS into a boy band was decent as well, like 
earlier Siu Chun and Ekin performed as a YOUNG AND DANGEROUS group.

* (2012/10/13) Law Chung Him and Cilla Lok Tung yesterday attended a shoe 
event.  The petite Lok Tung in flats looked even smaller next to Law Chung 
Him.  Him Jai will work on the Wong Jing directed YOUNG AND DANGEROUS 
RELOADED (GOO WAT JAI), which will start production today.  He admitted 
that having to play a classic character like Chan Ho Nam truly was very 
stressful.  He said that he just received the script recently and that 
this performance mainly be will be a salute to Dior Cheng Yi Kin, not to 
surpass him.  The story is being remade.  Has he watched Ekin's YOUNG AND 
DANGEROUS film series?  He said, "In secondary school I have already 
watched a series of YOUNG AND DANGEROUS films.  Sometimes I would 
fantasize myself to be Chan Ho Nam.  The old series was too successful, 
hopefully mine would disappoint everyone."
	Him Jai also said that he has never met Ekin and did not know 
whether Brother Jing will arrange for them to meet.  He said that his 
character should have foul language but less passion scenes.  Would he 
recommend his rumored girlfriend Tavia Yeung Yi to Wong Jing to play 
Smartie?  Him Jai joked, "She is big big Smartie, I am just joking."  He 
pointed out that this installment would not have the Smartie character.  
As far as he knew the film will have a new actress as a rich girl 
character.  If this film will become a hit a second one will be made, but 
will his pressure not be even greater?  Him Jai said, "I too feel I am 
'flying blind', but with a second installment I will be able to improve 
my acting."

* (2012/10/13) AngelaBaby yesterday attended TAICHI's celebration 
announcement.  With different strands of color in her hair, she surprised 
director Stephen Fung Tak Lun, Tony Leung Ka Fai, and Feng Shaofeng.  She 
revealed, although viewers saw a variety of comedy scenes in TAICHI, the 
production actually was a merger of pain and tears.  "One day, halfway 
through the shoot, suddenly my eyes felt some discomfort.  The make up 
artist after inspection told me that my tears were frozen!"
	TAICHI so far is near 150 million, with TAICHI HERO soon to be 
released.  Earlier she promised that if both films exceeded 800 million 
at the box office she will organize a bikini party.  Will she fulfill the 
promise?  She said, "I definitely will fulfill the promise.  I hope the 
box office will be just as great."  Although TAICHI's story and on set 
footage were cheerful, Baby said that during the shoot one day her eyes 
felt discomfort.  She thought it was a reaction to make up, the make up 
artist after checking discovered the her discomfort was due to "frozen 
tears".  She said, at the time the temperature reached 11 degrees Celsius 
below zero so the tears froze as soon as they were shed.  Even she did not 
know that she was tearing up.  She even revealed that in the film she 
had to keep running afar.  In one shot she accidentally fell on the 
ground.  She said, when she fell she suddenly felt a loss of strength 
and could not move at all.  Later Yuan Xiaochao and the director gave her 
a hand before she was able to stand.  "After getting up, I discovered 
that my arms and kneecaps were all scratched up from the pebbles on the 
road.  The ground also had a puddle.  After thinking for awhile I 
realized that was tears.  The hardship of this production was truly in a 
class of its own."

* (2012/10/13) Peter Chan Ho Sun's first autobiography MY WAY released its 
Mainland edition yesterday in Beijing.  Chan Ho Sun's new film AMERICAN 
DREAMS IN CHINA actors Huang Xiaoming, Deng Chao, Tong Dawei, Du Juan 
attended in support and presented him with his favorite chocolate.  Chan 
Ho Sun was so touched that he was teary eyed.  Chan Ho Sun's father Chan 
Tung Man not only wrote the foreword for his son's book but also appeared 
yesterday at the press conference.
	Papa Chan in the 50s was a famous screen writer as well.  In 
early 60s he was a newspaper editor.  In the 70s he directed the film 
THE BODYGUARD (CHET DAM HO HONG), which in 2009 Chan Ho Sun adapted into 
BODYGUARDS AND ASSASSINS (SUP YUET WAI SING).  Chan Ho Sun said that he 
always saw his father as a "partner" in his life because Father was able 
to give him opinions.  He said that when he published this film, he asked 
his father to write the foreword only the night before the draft was 
due.  Papa completed it in half a hour.
	Papa Chan said that he did not know when his son decided on film 
to be his lifelong career.  When he found out he immediately stopped him 
and told him "hard, hard, hard!"  He said, "Ho Sun was the name in 
memory of his mother giving birth to him under a difficult birth, I didn't 
expect it to become his life's prophecy."  He pointed out that he too has 
walked this road and thus retired.  He never thought his son would be so 
brave and has already left a lot of performance amid successes and 
failures.  Papa Chan also pointed out that his son's flaw was excessive 
self confidence, ambition, and aspiration, often running into unexpected 
obstacles and setbacks.  However he has fully supported Chan Ho Sun's 
persistence in film, whether he succeeded or failed, because he deeply 
knew that his son was someone who walked an unusual road.  Even if he 
ran into setbacks he would not give up his own way.

* (2012/10/12) Luisa Lai Chi San yesterday appeared on a Commercial Radio 
interview.  Recently her talk show BEST ACTOR has received raves.  She 
said that she proposed the show to Elaine Lok Yi Ling herself.  Chi San 
revealed that Tony Leung Chiu Wai at first wanted to turn down the 
interview.  "Wai Jai rarely sits still for an interview.  He asked him 
to consider careful, if he did he would help me out a lot.  A week later 
he replied and said he would."  Chi San also mentioned her relationship 
with casino king Stanley Ho Hung Sun.  She said, "My aunt is Mr. Ho's 
first wife.  When Papa passed away, Mr. Ho made all the arrangements for 
our entire family.  He was the one who got me into TVB."
	As for past jobs, Chi San pointed out at first she did not want 
to be on 430 SPACE SHUTTLE; as for singing, she said, "At the time with 
(Priscilla) Chan Wai Han and Chan Lok Man I released YOUNG GIRL MAGAZINE, 
I expected Wai Han would win out."  In the promotion, Chi San mentioned 
old flames Dior Cheng Yi Kin and Tony Leung Ka Fai.  She even revealed 
that she dated Jordan Chan Siu Chun.

* (2012/10/12) Irene Wan Bik Ha went all out for the Emperor Motion 
Picture TRIAD (JAT JIK)!  Aside from performing only in undergarment, 
she even got vicious and in one scene slapped her subordinate Deep 
Ng Ho Hong.  During the scene she even dropped her mild mannered side and 
slapped Deep with full force, leaving five finger marks on his face.  
	According to the crew, Irene originally was afraid of hurting 
Deep and held back.  Yet due to frequent bad takes, she viciously slapped 
Deep hard for realism!  Afterward Irene was deeply apologetic to Deep, "I 
was afraid that if I didn't hit hard enough the result wouldn't be good 
and we had to try again.  Deep would hurt for nothing.  Instead, I might 
as well viciously slap him!  Finally the slap was so loud that it stunned 
all of the crew!  Later everyone said that they did not dare to cross me, 
as they were afraid that I was beat them to death."
	As for Deep he joked afterward that he was "thick skinned", thus 
she was not afraid of being slapped a few more times!  He said, "As for 
the result was ideal it was fine.  I saw Sister Irene after slapping me 
was shaking unconsciously.  She even kept taking deep breaths and was 
teary eyed.  In comparison to my face, I was more worried about her 
reaction."

* (2012/10/12) Janice Man Wing Shan, Shawn Yue Man Lok, Karena Ng Chin Yu 
and others two nights ago attended a shoe event.  Yue Man Lok just 
promoted MOTORWAY (CHEH SAU) at a film festival in Spain and even realized 
that he had many fans there.  Did he have any luck in Spain?  He joked, "I 
originally was looking forward to it because my hotel faced a nude beach.  
However all I saw were women and not girls, they were all more steady in 
age."

* (2012/10/12) Ronald Cheng Chung Kei, Teresa Mo Shun Kwan and Karena Ng 
Chin Yu recently promoted the film LOVE IS PAJAMAS (NAM YUN YU YI FOK).  
Ronald and Ng Chin Yu played a couple in the film.  Ronald said that Chin 
Yu did not have intimate scene.  Has his wife prohibited him from any 
intimate scene?  He admitted, "I can do anything.  It doesn't matter, it's 
all work."  Mo Mo said that his husband prohibited her from making any 
intimate scene.
	Ronald after marriage and fatherhood rarely had any rumor.  Has 
he settled down?  He said that he has always been.  Previously the media 
wrote about him but he never had any rumor.  Now after marriage no one 
was interested in writing.  Mo Mo joked, "Now when he goes home he has 
two female to play with, he is already very happy left and right."  Would 
he be interested in another child?  He admitted that he would like to but 
he first had to stay in Hong Kong more.  Ronald pointed out that his 
daughter has been different at every stage.  Sometimes she would be like 
him and sometimes like her mother.  However her daughter's personality

said that right now he often taught his daughter not to get married and 
staying with Papa would be the best.  He said, "I am afraid that my 
daughter would be swindled."
	Mo Shun Kwan in the film objected to her daughter Ng Chin Yu 
dating Cheng Chung Kei.  In real life would she object to her daughter 
dating?  She said, "My daughter hasn't dated yet.  She is 17 now and I am 
mentally prepared.  Only if they are getting married will she bring him 
home to meet the parents."  Speaking of rumors between Ng Chin Yu and 
Raymond Lam Fung, did Mo Mo notice anything?  She said no.  Later Mo Mo 
and Ronald joked that Lam Fung liked to eat everything and was a young 
person with a good appetite.  Ng Chin Yu said that in the film had an 
argument scene with Sister Mo.  During the shoot she was a little scared, 
would she accept dating a much older guy in real life?  She admitted, "I 
like a few year difference, having common interests would be the best."

* (2012/10/12) Aaron Kwok Fu Sing two nights ago attended his new film 
COLD WAR (HONG JIN)'s premiere.  It happened to be his girlfriend Lynn 
Xiong (Hung Doi Lam)'s birthday.  How would he celebrate?  Sing Sing said 
that he had to attend the premiere so he did not have time to celebrate.  
However he did not forget to wish her a happy birthday.  As for birthday 
gift, Sing Sing declined to comment but stated that his friendship with 
Lynn would last forever.
	Releasing on November 8, COLD WAR two nights ago held a star 
studded premiere.  Actors in the film including Sing Sing, Tony Leung Ka 
Fai, Aarif Rahman (Lee Chi Ting), Eddie Peng Yu-Yen, Charlie Yeung Choi 
Nei and Chin Kar Lok attended.  Speaking of Lynn's birthday, Sing Sing 
was in good spirit and said, "I sincerely wish her Happy Birthday!  (What 
birthday gift did you give her?)  Let me think about it, but it doesn't 
need to be publicized."  Earlier Sing Sing went to look at an over 200 
million yuan car, which was rumored to be a gift for Lynn; Sing Sing said 
that Lynn already bought a car so she did not need one.  As for his gift, 
he said, "Friendship forever."
	Sing Sing said that he was a workaholic.  Since it was Lynn's

Ming replied OK.  Lee Chi Ting said, "Boss is very professional, keeping 
business and personal matter very separate.  Earlier I went back to the 
company and he asked me about my work.  (Was Boss' mood affected?)  Not 
that I have seen."
	Reportedly Gaile Lok cursed at Lai Ming, Lee Chi Ting joked that 
perhaps she was saying Lai Ming's concert title last year, "X YOU"; he 
also said that if Lai Ming wanted to talk he would talk, so he would not 
ask too much.  Did he have any contact with Gaile Lok?  Lee Chi Ting said 
that they have never worked together and they were not close.  he has not 
heard her use foul language.
	Yeung Choi Nei said that after working with Lai Ming on SEVEN 
SWORDS (CHUT GIM) they did not have any contact.  She also had no 
intention to call him because she and her business friends like Angelica 
Lee Sinjie and Gigi Leung Wing Kei would not talk about their love lives.  
Choi Nei said, "If he wants to talk he would talk, some people like to 
talk about personal life, some people felt they might not be ready yet!"
	Choi Nei looked darker.  She admitted that lately she has been 
swimming often.  Was she worried about the paparazzi?  She said, "I go to 
a private club, and I wear normal swimwear."  Choi Nei also said that 
actually she liked badminton, but she would have to book a court and find 
a partner.  Swimming was different, as she could go alone at any time.

Kwan Pak Wai) earlier passed away at the age of 83.  His family two nights 
ago held a wake at the Hong Kong funeral home and a funeral yesterday 
morning.  After the coffin ceremony completed, Kwan Shan was buried at 
the Shenzhen Tai Peng Wan cemetery.  Kwan Chi Lam and her younger brother 
Kwan Sai Wa sent their father on his final journey.
	Yesterday morning at 7AM, a dozen or so Lamas chanted at the altar.  
Kwan Chi Lam and her brother Kwan Sai Wa arrived around 7:30AM.  Chi 
Chi's boyfriend Chen Tai Ming did not appear.  Chi Chi yesterday wore 
black and sunglasses.  She smiled at the reporters and immediately went 
upstairs.  Around 8AM, Kenny Bee (Chung Chun To) and his girlfriend Fan 
Chiang arrived.
	The coffin ceremony completed around 8AM, Chi Chi and near 20 
friends and relatives took a bus to Shenzen around 9AM.  Kwan Sai Wa 
carried his father's photo.  B Gor Gor and Fan Chiang left in a taxi after 
the ceremony and did not go to Shenzhen.  B Gor Gor was asked about the 
ceremony, he said that it was nothing special.  Everyone was OK.
	The hearse arrived in Shenzhen Tai Peng Wan cemetery around 
10:30AM.  Chi Chi's brother carried their father's photo from the car, 
then went to the burial site with friends and family.  After the ceremony, 
the family jumped over burnt offering and left.

* (2012/10/12) The Peter Chan Ho Sun directed inspirational comedy 
AMERICAN DREAM IN CHINA (JUNG GOK SIN SUN) yesterday held a "graduation 
ceremony" in Beijing.  Actors Huang Xiaoming, Deng Chao, Tong Dawei and 
Du Juan put on graduation gowns, as "class president" Chan Ho Sun 
presented them with "diplomas".  The event also announced that the film  
shoots in Tianjin, Beijing and New York have been completed.  The actors 
excitedly tossed their caps.
	At the "graduation", class president Chan Ho Sun graded Huang 
Xiaoming, Deng Chao, Tong Dawei's English quality.  He pointed out that 
in the film Deng Chao's English was the best, Tong Dawei's English was 
natural, off screen Huang Xiaoming's English was the best.  Chan Ho Sun 
continued, AMERICAN DREAM IN CHINA was his 13th class because this was 
his 13th film.  It was also the class with the best students and the best 
grades.
	Huang Xaioming said that the happiest part of being an actor was 
not being recognized, so everyone would remember the character Cheng 
Dongqing and forgot Huang Xiaoming.  "China's tallest school flower" Du 
Juan made her big screen debut.  She said that she was very lucky to be 
able to take part in the production and to have the chance to shape the 
character of Su Mei.  Huang Xiaoming also pointed out that his character 
would not be more lame.  For two months he ate and got fat, later he 
still needed a fake belly.  Huang Xiaoming in the film played an English 
teacher.  He said that he expected everyone to be concerned with his 
English level.  He said, "Why do we have to learn English?  Maybe because 
America is very strong.  I appreciate everyone for making fun of me.  All 
of the jokes are motivations for my improvement."
	Deng Chao's character lived in the U.S. for ten years, but his 
English was just worrying.  His way of learning English was practice, as 
he had professionals around him to teach him.  Chan Ho Sun also praised 
Du Juan's resemblance to Faye Wong, with a feeling of beyond reach and 
keeping people at bay.

* (2012/10/11) Anthony Wong Chau Sun earlier was interviewed on Luisa Lai 
Chi San's program BEST ACTOR and denied rumors with Fan Bingbing and Ruby 
Wong Cheuk Ling.  He stressed that since marrying his wife he had no one 
else.  He said that he has never dined with Fan Bingbing alone.  Wong 
Cheuk Ling was already married, he thought he was quite a gentleman so 
he should not comment more on the rumor.  He even called those who 
publicized their sexual text messages had no brain or culture.  Wong Chau 
Sun denied the separation rumor with his wife as well.  He said, "Actually 
what can a marriage certificate prove, instead the red cloth that guests 
signed was even valuable."  He joked that at home he was just a low 
ranking soldier, his wife was the chief commander.  He even had to cook 
for his sons on Father's Day.
	Although he was a Best Actor, Wong Chau Sun has experienced low 
points in life.  He recalled that when he was at ATV the pay was low and 
he had no position.  Luckily currently TVB drama department manager Wong 
Sum Wai made him a lead.  He said that thus he thought about working on 
a series for free for TVB.  Speaking of friends around him, Wong Chau Sun 
said that Dayo Wong Chi Wa was smart, handsome and talented; Francis Ng 
Chun Yu was smart, handsome but had a bad temper; Lau Ching Wa was 
reclusive, had on rumor and stable; Andy Lau Tak Wa was hard working, 
professional, persistence and reacted fast.  Speaking of accusing Wa Jai 
of unable to act, sing or live in the past, Wong Chau Sun said that 
whether Wa Jai would be able to those things they had nothing to do with

* (2012/10/11) Rosamund Kwan Chi Lam's father Kwan Shan (Kwan Pak Wai) 
passed away last week at the age of 83.  Yesterday Chi Chi held a funeral 
for her father at the Hong Kong funeral home.  At 8AM the body was placed 
into the coffin and the wake began at 9PM.  After the funeral the burial 
took place in Shenzhen's Tai Peng Wan cemetery.  Reportedly Chi Chi spent 
several millions on her late father's funeral, Chi Chi yesterday denied 
the rumor immediately but was reluctant to be interviewed.  Later she even 
issued a thank you note to the media in appreciation of love and 
understanding from everyone everywhere, so her family was able to have 
quiet space to prepare her father's affairs in the calmest way.
	Around 3PM, Chi Chi arrived in a black vehicle at the funeral 
home, but she maintained her smile and looked peaceful; however she did 
not accept any interview.  Reporters asked many questions how she felt, 
about the ceremony and whether her mother returned to Hong Kong, she did 
not respond.  However when asked about spending several million for her 
late father's funeral, she simply said, "No!"  Her mother Chang Ping-Sie 
and rumored boyfriend Pierre Chen Tai Ming did not appear.
	Yesterday many in the business sent floral arrangements to 
remember Kwan Shan, including Jacky Cheung Hok Yau and May Law Mei Mei, 
Miriam Yeung Chin Wa and Real Ting Chi Ko, Kenny Bee (Chung Chun To) and 
Fan Chiang, Leon Lai Ming, Chan Sin Chi and others.  Personally attending 
were Alex Man Chi Leung, Stanley Kwan Kam Peng, Susan Shaw Yam Yam, Tony 
Au Ting Ping and Teresa Mo Shun Kwan, Ray Lui Leung Wai and Yeung Siu 
Guen, Anna Ueyama and others.  Shaw Yam Yam revealed that before she was 
born, her parents already knew Kwan Shan.  She said, "My mother originally 
wanted to come, but her leg had problems so I didn't permit her!"  She 
said that she has worked on one or two films with Kwan Shan.  At the time 
Kwan Shan not only taught her how to act but also treated her to snacks.  
In recent years they have met at Performing Artist Guild's tea.  The 
last time she saw him was ten months ago.  Was she familiar with Chi Chi?  
She said that Chi Chi joined ATV at age 17, they also worked together.  
However she did not know how Chi Chi was feeling now.  She said, "Who 
would be happy when their relatives pass!  (Have you contacted Kwan Shan's 
former wife Chang Ping-Sie?)  She has always been in the U.S.  When she 
came back she came with other friends."
	Later when Sister Yam Yam left she revealed the the altar was 
mainly decorated with white lilies.  The venue was filled with flowers 
and fragrance.  Monks were also chanting.  She also said that Chi Chi was 
in an OK mood but she did not see her brother and her mother.  She 
believed that Chi Chi's mother was overseas.  Did she attend the viewing?  
She tearfully said, "He will always be in my heart!"

* (2012/10/11) Yesterday would have been Anita Mui Yim Fong's 49th 
birthday.  Although Sister Mui has passed for nine years already, her 
fans remained faithful.  Yesterday morning they placed their offering at 
Sister Mui's spot in Shang Sin Chun Tong, as they prepared many baskets of 
fresh flowers, desserts, sandwiches, cup of noodles, cola, milk tea and 
other items.  They also turned Sister Mui's photos in a 2013 calendar.  
Fans in order to celebrate Sister Mui's 30th anniversary in the business 
published an ad in newspapers.
	Sister Mui's friend Ms. So was on hand yesterday and said that 
130 fans from Japan, Beijing, Foshan and other places will gather at a 
certain hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui East to remember Sister Mui.  The venue 
displayed Sister Mui's photos and valuable personal life video that has 
never been seen before from Ms. So's personal collection.  Oil paintings 
will be auctioned off to raise 30,000 for Mainland school construction.  
Will she organize a memorial concert for Sister Mui?  Ms. So said that 
next year will be the tenth anniversary of Sister Mui's passing and she 
heard that Sister Mui's disciples already had plans.  She and a group of 
fans next year will organize more memorial events.

* (2012/10/11) Julian Cheung Chi Lam and Annie Liu (Lau Sum Yau) were 
on the October cover of the wedding magazine DARIZI.  They earlier worked 
together on a romantic movie.  In this interview they each spoke about 
their view on love.
	Sum Yau and Chi Lam both studied abroad.  Sensible and passive, 
Sau Yau recalled her school days in Canada.  In order to give her then 
boyfriend a surprise she bought a plane ticket and flew alone to another 
province to find him.  She did not tell him until the moment she got on 
the plane.  Chi Lam also had a similar experience.  He said, "During my 
first love I just started school in Australia.  In order to see her I 
took an over ten hour ride to find her.  At the time I was a stranger in 
a strange place, but for her I still mustered the courage to do that.  
Now looking back, perhaps it was not something crazy.  Yet at the time 
for me it was already the craziest thing."  Chi Lam felt that in term of 
love, the so-called crazy was not the variety of silly things that was 
done out of youthful impulses.  Actually it was looking at the future 
and maintaining the promise of love forever.
	Chi Lam felt lucky as he was able to have the feeling of being 
happy at different stages.  In his eyes, happiness was being at peace and 
stability.  "To me, happiness was the word 'peace'.  It represented a 
home, the female owner who lives in it is very stable, safe with 
everything.  She is no longer empty and doesn't need to search anymore.  
That type of solid feeling without any worry is happiness."
	As for the single Sum Yau, the pursuit of the heart was also for 
the word "peace", for someone to make her feel secure.  She said, "With 
people around me, whether lovers or friends, the sense of security is the 
most important.  The so-called sense of security, it is a familiar and 
intimate feeling that can be found in the other person.  Usually people 
who can give me this feeling are people who love family and have close 
relationships with their families."

* (2012/10/11) Ellen Chen Nga Lun earlier appeared on a Cable program 
interview.  She presented her photo book to host Wong Man Ling.  Ellen 
said, "Back then I posed for the photo book at age 26.  Girl's youth once 
missed is gone."  She said that she shot the photo book due to Olivia 
Cheng Man Nga, because a photo book could be very pretty and very 
healthy.  Back then after making a category III film FATAL LOVE (NGAI 
CHING) she decided to go all out.  She proudly said, "It can rival Cheng 
Man Nga's."  As for why she made a category III film, she admitted that 
she wanted to become an overnight success.  Did she feel she succeeded?  
Ellen said, "I only made one category III film, without it I wouldn't have 
a photo book.  I also wouldn't have the record release later and the 
success that followed."
	Although her career grew stronger, Ellen after dating musician 
Wong Seung Wai gave up her career for love.  They dated 11 years.  She 
admitted that he was the man who she was with the longest, the most 
involved with and loved the best.  Ellen said that "love was greater than 
all".  As soon as she dated she neglected her career.  Once when she was 
working on a movie, because her boyfriend had to fly elsewhere she turned 
down the notice and flew with him.
	They loved deeply and truly but also very painfully.  Ellen said, 
"He has said that he wanted marriage, but I thought it would have been 
very hard because his family kept objecting.  Even if we persisted 
together, we would have felt hardship and pain."  Finally she broke up 
because her older brother yelled at her.  He thought that her boyfriend 
did not think of his sister.  Ellen thought deeper and felt that her 
brother was right.  However when they decided to break up they cried for 
a long time.
	Back then she missed many opportunities.  Now she is spurring her 
career on again.  Is it too late?  Ellen confidently said, "Different

Chow Yun Fat, Huang Xiaoming, Sammo Hung Kam Bo, Francis Ng Chun Yu 
starred THE LAST TYCOON (DAI SEUNG HOI) will be released in December.  
Huang Xiaoming worked with three Best Actors Chow Yun Fat, Hung Kam Bo 
and Ng Chun Yu for the first time.
	The three Best Actors took turns to "torture" Huang Xiaoming in 
the film.  Huang Xiaoming half jokingly "accused", "In this film, Ng Chun 
Yu made me kill someone, Hung Kam Bo forced me to kneel, Chow Yun Fat 
made me lose my fiance.  It truly was very tragic."  Five years ago, 
when Huang Xiaoming starred in the television series THE NEW BUND, he 
studied the Chow Yun Fat played Hui Man Keung and even attempted to 
surpass him.  However, this time on THE LAST TYCOON set, Huang Xiaoming 
after seeing Chow Yun Fat immediately became a little fan.  Not only did

1. MING PAO DAILY, OCTOBER 14 2012, FILM WORDS
JAPANESE DIVA STANDS OUT

	Two Asian films about women stand out the most among the numerous 
new films this week, both have mesmerizing charm and intrigue mystery.  
The Japanese film HELTER SKELTER opens on top, while Indian film KAHAANI 
is especially worth recommending.
	After last year the Indian comedy 3 IDIOTS was a surprise 
commercial and critical hit in Hong Kong, Indian film releases have been 
continuous but has been unable to create another box office miracle.  Now 
KAHAANI (meaning "story") is not a song and dance Indian mainstream film, 
but  only a little over US$1 million mystery.  With international raves, 
its current take has already reached US$20 million.
	This Sujoy Ghosh directed film is indeed excellent, rivaling the 
Oscar Best Foreign Film award winning Argentina mystery THE SECRET IN
THEIR EYES but even more interesting and fun.  It even makes the variety 
in Indian life vibrant and full, not resembling a small budget film at 
all.  KAHAANI describes a Calcutta subway drug murder case.  Two years 
later a beautiful pregnant young woman returned from London in search of 
her husband.  The more she investigates the more trouble she gets into, 
as she triggers a series of assassinations that involved high ranking 
officials protecting terrorist political conspiracy.
	This film does not just keep cooking up thrills and chills, but is 
full of a sense of real life and local colors.  Vidya Balan as the 
pregnant female lead is pretty and lovable.  She lives in a lower class 
lodging that resembles CHUNG KING EPXRESS.  Her search of her husband has 
danger at every turn yet she wins over good hearted assistance from every 
class, man, woman, young and old.  A young innocent police officer even 
becomes her guardian angel, which is very interesting.  In the film almost 
every character has an unconventional sense of realism, even the assassin 
has a style of its style.  The film is absolutely not formulaic.
	The story continues to surprise, the climatic duel is the most 
unexpected.  The truth of mystery undoubtedly is too much mystery for the 
sake of mystery, but the result is decent and the logic is not absurd.  
KAHAANI displays the variety of Indian film, smart with ideas and very 
strong with film sense.  This one is better than many European, American 
and East Asian mystery films.  It rarely includes a high ranking evil 
and grass root ecology, bloody gun fights and computer investigation, as 
well as the modern and traditions in one "goddess". (Four out of five stars) 

HELTER SKELTER: Special Packaged Elegance
	As for HELTER SKELT, female Japanese director Mika Ninagawa gives 
its special packaged elegance.  The film depicts how the trendy creates a 
pretty girl idol, with the police investigation of a cosmetic surgery 
industry scandal.  It makes fun of the strange phenomenon of many modern 
women's preference of beauty over their own lives.  Erika Sawajiri plays 
the sharp on the eye beauty with a variety of make up and fashion.  In 
addition she thoroughly displays the complicated personality of 
beauty on the outside and brutal on the inside.  Her acting is great.  
Shinobu Terajima as the female assistant and Kaori Momoi as the manager 
are both outstanding.
	Like this year's Heiward Mak Hei Yan directed, Joey Yung Cho Yi 
and Chapman To Man Jat starred DIVA, a Hong Kong film about on and behind 
the scene show business, has a lot of positive parts but overall lacks 
drama.  In comparison HELTER SKELTER has an even more special package and 
is much more mysterious.  It not only achieves the erotic "artificial 
beauty" but also very adult sex and murder.  Wonderfully after the diva 
legend vanishes is a "resurrection" miracle, finally she actually comes 
to Hong Kong!  (Three and a half out of five stars)

LOVE IS...PYJAMAS Is Absurb And Childish
	This week's new release Hong Kong and Mainland co-production LOVE 
IS...PYJAMAS (NAM YUN YU YI FOK) also has to do with fashion and plays 
with the ancient saying "Brothers are like limbs, women are like clothes" 
so it is no longer chauvinistic.  The entire film consists mainly of Hong 
Kong talent.  Vincent Kok Tak Siu directed, Teresa Mo Shun Kwan, Karena 
Ng Chin Yu, Lynn Xiong (Hung Doi Lam) and Ronald Cheng Chung Kei, Raymond 
Wong Pak Ming, Raymond Lam Fung and other stars.  However, this type of 
Hong Kong style comedy is stuck in the absurd and childhood old ways.  
unrealistic and unconvincing, it does not meet with the current special 
package fun demand.  (Two out of five stars) - SHEK KEI

  lose the fight to the Hongs, Howard sacrifices himself to save Yan who

  On the run, Yan is rescued by Cheryl. Mistaking Yan as a man, Cheryl

  The faithful Lee Leung believes that people who choose to end their own 
  lives will forever burn in the fire of Hell and never be able to go to 
  Heaven.  After his wife succumbs to the pain of cancer and commits 
  suicide, he understands the pain of those who want to die and realizes 
  that instead of letting others commit suicide and fall to Hell forever,  
  he might as well end their lives so they can go to Heaven after death.  
  He on a suicide site meets four people who want to die and communicate 
  with each other to fulfill their wishes.  As Lee Leung thinks that he 
  is acting on the order of God, he realizes that his belief and salvation 
  plan faces an impact that it cannot withstand......
