Wang Leehom invited superstar buddy Jackie Chan to be his guest. When Jackie Chan appeared, Leehom introduced this friend. "Last month one night, I was working with Zhang Ziyi on MY LUCKY STAR. I received a call from this friend, saying that he wanted to visit. Soon he brought a dozen or so boxes of fruit for the entire team. That day we were shooting a fight scene, he even became our temporary action director. He is this type of a good friend. He is the superstar of my heart, the best action director in the entire world..." Jackie Chan then appeared and embraced Leehom. They sang while shaking the audience's hands and brought the concert to its climax. Jackie Chan just completed his film CZ12 (SUP YI SUN CHIU) post production in North America. Jackie Chan pointed out that the script took 7 years to write and a year and a half to shoot. He even gave the audience a special preview as a gift for Leehom. The video had many dangerous stunts. Jackie Chan said, "This three minute scene took a month and a half to shoot. In comparison to you writing a song with just 'ding ding ding', you have made much more money. I really have it tough, film requires me to risk danger to my life, you have it much simpler." Before going, Jackie Chan kissed Leehom on the lips and the audience shrieked. Then Leehom and Jackie Chan said I love you in both Mandarin and Cantonese and recorded it for online posting. Before the end of the show, Leehom said that he had to "hit the wheel" with everyone, meaning that he would kiss everyone goodbye with music. In his three show concert, Leehom often said that he wanted to "hit the wheel" with guests and viewers. When asked if he knew that it meant a tongue kiss, Leehom who did not know Cantonese finally got it and immediately explained, "Really? I learned it when I made Cantonese films. Then how do you say kiss in Cantonese? (Your first show guest Candy Lo Hau Yam was scared out of her mind because of what you said!) I really just found out, luckily you corrected me." Leehom said that Jackie Chan brought fruit to the set, and Zhang Ziyi who has been linked to Jackie Chan was present as well. Did Jackie Chan bring any grape? Did Zhang Ziyi feed grapes to anyone? Leehom said, "No." later he will have to go to Macau to continue the shoot and his concert tour. Will he perform in Japan? Leehom said, "We are in negotiation." With the recent rising anti Japanese sentiments, Tony Leung Chiu Wai who was rumored to be making a Japanese film was called a traitor online in the Mainland. Leehom said that online comments could not be stopped. * (2012/09/17) Raymond Lam Fung in the film LOVE IS PYJAMAS (NAM YUN YU JI FOK) played a ladies' man. In one scene Ronald Cheng Chung Kei asked him to join him in the sauna. For his topless performance, he kept doing push ups to pump up his chest before taking his mark. Lam Fung was full of confidence in his figure. "When I made this film I just finished my concerts, so I was confident about showing off my firm muscles." Because he had to display the sauna room's high heat, Lam Fung often rolled his eyes and touched himself for laughs. Teresa Mo Shun Kwan was no slouch either. In this scene Cheng Chung Kei helped her steal Lam Fung's mobile phone information. She disguised herself as a man and snuck into the men's dressing room. She had a face full of beard and acted tough. Lam Fung admired Mo Shun Kwan's professional performance very much. "Her comedy is very explosive!" Mo Shun Kwan praised him as a good actor, a young man who infinite future. * (2012/09/17) September 27 will be Andy Lau Tak Wa's 51st birthday. Two nights ago Wa Jai held a giant birthday party with his fans at the Convention Center. This year's birthday party dress code was Chinese as both Wa Jai and host Albert Au Wing Kuen appeared in Chinese costumes. Recently Wa Jai in his new film SWITCH (FUCHUN SHAN GUI TOH) played a Chinese hero and even defeated ten Japanese robbers on his own. Two nights ago Wa Jai's costume matched the new film character rather well. Recently SWITCH director Jay Sun Jianjun revealed a special teaser. In it Wa Jai raided the Japanese robbers' base alone and gave a brutal beating to the rapist. "What isn't mine I don't want. What isn't yours, even if it's just a grain of sand, a drop of water, you can forget about getting it." He even fought the robbers who wore Japanese flags on their heads. Sun Jianjun two years ago already came to an agreement with Wa Jai when they first discussed the script. A big Chinese film must have a grand emotions and grand structure. They then created a big hero who fought with Japanese robbers. Recently the Diaoyu Island topic had the entire nation boiling. The film's attitude was not to be opportunistic with a last minute protest, but the soul that connected the entire film. He asked for everyone to be patriotic sensibly and not due to the extreme few's excessive behavior to stop the expression of sovereignty protection. Wa Jai wore a Chinese costume at this birthday party also as an expression of his patriotism. Guests received a pair of Wa Jai autographed socks. * (2012/09/16) Julian Cheung Chi Lam, Annie Liu (Lau Sum Yau) and director Patrick Kong (Yip Lim Sum) yesterday appeared in Beijing to promote their new film NATURAL BORN LOVERS (TIN SUN OI CHING KONG). Cheung Chi Lam was asked how crazy he got when he was dating. He revealed his wife Anita Yuen Wing Yi's secret, "I really didn't do much, she is the one who pursued me. Romantically it was more solid." Yip Lim Sum joked that Lau Sum Yau and Cheung Chi Lam were very focused during their intimate scenes, as a light kiss turned into a passionate kiss. Cheung Chi Lam immediately explained on her behalf, "Sum Yau during the shoot didn't hold back, our collaboration was very pleasant and comfortable." * (2012/09/16) Angelina Zhang (Cheung Woon Nga), Jeana Ho Pui Yu, Danielle Wang Lidan, Celia Kwok Wing Yi, Justin Cheung Kin Sing, Gregory Wong Chung Hiu and others two nights ago attended an audience appreciation event at a Mongkok cinema to celebrate the box office breaking 1 million in advance. The cast shared its experience and took photos with the audience. Although Jeana was dressed more conservatively, she was more popular than the low cut Cheung Woon Nga as many viewers asked Jeana for photos. Jeana and Cheung Woon Nga were rumored to be at odds. Reporters asked them to pose for a photo together. Jeana immediately turned around to leave but Cheung Woon Nga was already walking over. They could only pose for a photo together but Jeana dug her arm into Cheung Woon Nga. They had no exchange at all. Jeana was confident that this film will be this year's box office champion. If so she would swim Polar Bear with the actresses to celebrate. She said that her boyfriend Parkman Cheung has not seen this film and did not know how he would respond to her intimate scenes. Cheung Woon Nga two nights ago dressed provocatively. she said that she was not deliberately stealing the spotlight. Speaking of Jeana being unwilling to pose for a photo with her, she said, "No, she is decent, she is a very nice person." She said that privately she and Jeana chatted and she believed that they could be friends. Cheung Woon Nga pointed out that the director earlier said that if this film passed 60 million he would skinny dip to celebrate. She said that although she did not know how to swim, if the film achieved such a performance she definitely would agree to skinny dip for audience appreciation. Celia Kwok recently was accused of looking at beds with rumored boyfriend Cheung Kin Sing. She said that at the time she was testing beds. She did not expect him to get on it as well. She admitted that he was in pursuit of her but thought that he was not trying hard enough. More romance and humor would be the best. * (2012/09/15) Emperor Group celebrated its 70th anniversary at the Convention Center last night, with 160 tables and over 2,000 guests from the political, business, and entertainment world. Aside from Emperor artists Nicholas Tse Ting Fung, Joey Yung Cho Yi, Leo Ku Kui Ke, Charlene Choi Cheuk Yin, Gillian Chung Yun Tung and Raymond Lam Fung, other guests included Jackie Chan, Andy Lau Tak Wa, Carina Lau Ka Ling, Sammo Hung Kam Bo, Cathy Tsui Chi Kei, Lee Siu Kei, Henry Tang Ying Yen, Tsang Hin Chi, Stanley Ho Hung Sun and Angela Leong On Ki. Guest performers included international superstar Paul Anka, Tsai Chin and French artist Franck Bouroullec. The evening began with a opening short film. Then group chair Albert Yeung Sau Sing and business administration director Alex Yeung Ching Lung gave speeches. Yeung Sau Sing said that the group would continue to explore Mainland and overseas markets and at the same time actively repay the community, in particular with senior hospice services in hopes of helping helpless seniors in the community and providing them with even better living environment. Then he and his wife led the executives in a toast to the guests. Just returning from Hengdian, Lau Ka Ling admitted that she has heard on the radio about her husband being criticized online for taking a Japanese film 1905. Yet as far as she knew the film approached Wai Jai as early as 2009, but he did not have any room in his schedule. Now with the tension between China and Japan, the project would probably be postponed indefinitely. Was being an actor very helpless? Ka Ling said, "We have to have the patriotic spirit, we have to. We have to stand firm on the issue, have to fight to the end. However people should also help each other, love each other and live in harmony." She also said that she has been working in Hengdian everyday and did not pay attention to the Diaoyu Island news. In addition she was working on a costume series and had to return to the Tang Dynasty, she felt the anti Japan sentiment even less. Ka Ling iterated again that Wai Jai probably would not take the Japanese film role because THE GRANDMASTER (YUT DOI JUNG SI) was still in production. Did she know that Wai Jai has been called a traitor? She said, "That serious? (They even demanded an apology from Wai Jai online?) Then you should talk about it. I understand people of each age have different ability to accept. They should use intelligence to resolve the issue. However patriotism is a must, the sovereignty must be regained." Wai Jai's management company Jet Tone said that the Japanese film has begun negotiation with Wai Jai since 2009 but did not have a script. Thus so far Wai Jai still has not signed a contract with the film company. * (2012/09/15) After three to four months away from Hong Kong, Chang Chen two days ago came to attend a Cerruti 1881 all new concept store opening in Harbor City. Chang Chen revealed that because he did not know when the film THE GRANDMASTERS (YUT DOI JUNG SI) will be released and promoted, currently he would focus on preparing for Hou Hsiao-Hsien's new film NIE YIN NIANG (ASSASSIN). He said, "Because this film will shoot for a long time, I have to be fully prepared. Next week a press conference will be held." Chang Chen denied rumors that he will wed this year. "I don't have any special plan to wed, we will see! Actually work has been rather busy, I have very little time to be with my family. Thus during break I would mainly be with my family. (Has your family been rushing you about marriage?) I don't have too much pressure. I am second in the family, I believe my brother's pressure is greater than mine. (Would the woman have pressure?) My girlfriend isn't in the business, so I hope to keep a low profile on the relationship. I am not at liberty to tell everyone. If anything happens I will let everyone know." He reiterated that if he got married he definitely would publicize it. * (2012/09/15) Angelina Zhang (Cheung Woon Nga), William Chan Wai Ting, Elanne Kong Yeuk Lam, Michelle Wai (Si Nga) and others two nights ago appeared at a certain fashion label celebration in Causeway Bay. Reportedly Cheung Woon Nga hooked up with her film DUE WEST OUR SEX JOURNEY (YUT LO HEUNG SAI) director Mark Wu Yiu Fai and thus received a major role in the film. Cheung Woon Nga said that he hooked up with another Mainland woman, but she was not sure who. However they knew each other before the shoot. He indeed took great care of her. Would she accept his pursuit? Cheung Woon Nga said, "I would consider it! It's not impossible. Destiny is hard to say. (If you accept the pursuit, you may instantly become the lead actress?) Wow! That's very attractive. However I would rather make a few more movies first and have more experience before becoming the lead actress!" Chan Wai Ting and Si Nga worked together on the new film TRIAD (JAT JIK), which due to excessive foul language and bloody scenes received a category III rating. William said that he was not worried about its effect on the box office. If the film deliberately accommodates too many scenes like hand chopping and killing would be edit out. Now they can go even further and add in even more bloody effects. Si Nga also said that they also shot a "clean version" for the Mainland release. * (2012/09/14) Best Actress Wai Ying Hun in her new film THE WEDDING DIARY worked with Elanne Kong Yeuk Lam and Malaysian singer A Niu (Tan Kheng-Seong). Nicknaming herself "Igniting Hung", Sister Hung revealed that she often took advantage of male co-workers on the set. Even director Adrian Teh (Cheng Kin Kwok) was a "victim". Sister Hung said, "Because the shoot was very long, hot and full of mosquitoes, sometimes when I saw people dropping watt (losing energy) I would walk over and flick their nipples so they would be more alert. I have messed with all the men in the studio. I wasn't deliberately sexually harassing them, I just wanted to be wilder. Sometimes trying to be funny too seriously would make it not fun instead. The no border and gentle pranks would make people happier and more alert." Speaking of "igniting flames" everywhere, Sister Hung said that once workers tried to strike back but she still scared them off in the end. "I would say, 'Come on! I will let you! I will let you!' They immediately wouldn't even dare to move." Cheng Kin Kwok also revealed that Sister Hung loved to playing drinking games with A Niu on the set to stay awake. Sister Hung said that the director would occasionally play ping pong with A Niu to amuse themselves. Sister Hung praised A Niu as a surprise maker. "He would suddenly blur out something that would make everyone laugh until their bellies ache. He is very mischievous! My favorite is to make fun of him, 'pretend to be shy to cop a feel' ha ha!" Sister Hung also praised Elanne for being honest and having substance in her acting. "Although she has not have a lot of experience, she has talent. At least she would make people feel that she wasn't acting. This trick isn't something that every actor can grasp." * (2012/09/14) Famous martial artist star Gordon Liu (Lau Ka Fai, originally named Sin Kam Hei) since suffering a stroke in August last year had hemiplegia. After over a year of tough treatment, in recent months he has been more active. During the period he faced family dispute and endless rumors; in mid August this year he was rumored to be sent to a care home after his wife and children abandoned him, and that his second wife and children forced him to hand over his wealth. When his son Sin Chun Lung and daughter Sin Wing Shan asked to see him, Lau Ka Fai turned them down and even contacted the police. After communicating through a good friend of Lau Ka Fai, he agreed to meet with the Ming Pao report and in simply language expressed his handling of the family dispute, his treatment condition and confidently said that he will recover. Reportedly in order to settle the "inheritance" storm over recent months so he would be able to focus on his treatment, Lau Ka Fai contacted a lawyer so his future life and wealth will have legal protection. Lau Ka Fai's interview would be the final public statement that he would make in regards to the rumors. The reporter has met with Lau Ka Fai twice. The first meeting took place on September 7 with Lau Ka Fai's niece and a priest. His niece said that Uncle was a Catholic so she invited a priest to give him Holy Communion in hopes of helping him find peace. That day Lau Ka Fai was somewhat anguished and a size thinner. Due to the lack of sun his skin was somewhat pale. He used crutches with the care personnel took a few dozen steps. When the reporter told to him, Brother Ka Fai was reluctant to talk. later he was even somewhat impatient and asked his niece why she did not help him back to his room. Two nights ago (September 12) the reporter visited Lau Ka Fai again. On this night he was in a good mood. He not only took the initiative with greetings and was even obviously gained a little weight. His condition was much better than the meeting the week before. Lau Ka Fai was rumored to be less than alert and have trouble speaking after the stroke; yet when the reporter conversed with him, he was very alert of the questions. When he answered though he would only do so with a few simple words. Below was Lau Ka Fai's conversation with the reporter. L: Lau Ka Fai, R: Reporter R: Have you contacted a lawyer in hopes of receiving legal protection? L: (nodding) Yes! R: Why don't you want to see your four children (two daughter with his first wife, a son and a daughter with his second)? L: No! (Thought for awhile) Don't bother! (He did not want to discuss his children) R: Would you handle the family matter yourself? L: (nodding hard) Yes! I would handle it. R: Would you like to see any particular friend? L: (smiling and waving his hand) No! R: Would you like to wait until your recovery improve more before seeing everyone? L: Right! R: Has physical therapy been very tough? (Supposedly Lau Ka Fai's physical therapy schedule has been arranged for morning and afternoon, including professional therapy, training with dressing himself, writing, etc.) L: (Particularly loudly) It hasn't been tough! R: Are you confident that you will recover? L: Yes! From what the reporter saw, Lau Ka Fai over this week has made tremendous progress and was able to stand up with help from the railing. Lau Ka Fai minded the negative news about his family very much and has been particularly moody. Sometime he would not eat because of that and thus became thin. Because finding a lawyer has already been taken care of, lately his mood has been great and he even gained a little weight. When the reporter took photos of him Lau Ka Fai was especially mischievous. When the reporter cheered for him to recover soon, Lau Ka Fai raised his left thumb. He was even concerned whether he was handsome in the photos, after seeing them he gave a happy and satisfied smile. * (2012/09/14) Leung Si Ho tearfully revealed abuse while working on Stephen Chow Sing Chi's film, which made his swear that he would rather "beg than work on another Chow Sing Chi film again". Recently, TVB director Cheung Wing Ho has been accused of abusing "Monster Angel" Jenny Lau Wai Huen, which reminded Leung Si Ho of the painful memory. Leung Si Ho yesterday on a now program taping revealed his grudge with Chow Sing Chi that few knew about. Reporters yesterday asked Chow Sing Chi's spokesman Ngai Tat Sum, who said that back then Leung Si Ho only worked on one scene and did not know how he felt. However after so many years he did not need to respond. Leung Si Ho and Chow Sing Chi met at TVB in 1998. They worked together on the television series BEHIND SILK CURTAINS (DAI DOH WUI). Chow Sing Chi played his older brother and thus they became good friends. "Chow Sing Chi bought his first car from me, so our relationship was pretty good. Why were we unable to become friends later? If Lee Lik Chi didn't publicly apologize to me on the radio two years ago, I might not tell this heart breaking story." In 1994 Chow Sing Chi made the film TO CHINA WITH LOVE (GOK CHAN LING LING CHAK). In Tianjin Leung Si Ho received a call from Chow Sing Chi's team that said Sing Yeh asked him to be in the movie. "I thought that since we were friends, I deliberately returned to Hong Kong for it and agreed to accept 10,000 per scene. When I saw Chow Sing Chi on the set, I thought we were friends so I called him 'Sing Jai' but he completely ignored me. The team said to call him Director, so I did." Leung Si Ho recalled asking Chow Sing Chi, "Director, how do you want me to act out this firing squad scene?" Chow Sing Chi at the time very loudly replied, "Cry! Do you know how to cry, Actor!" Leung Si Ho continued, "At the time I very naively said, 'Sure, in the business I am known for crying'. Chow Sing Chi was a little surprised to hear that. He even said, 'You are that amazing? Great! Now you are being executed, go'. So I asked the director how to cry, Chow Sing Chi said, 'Did your Old Man die yet? Cry like your Old Man died for me'. I asked for the line and Chow Sing Chi who was somewhat upset replied, 'No line required, 1, 2, 3, 4 count to 100, go'." Leung Si Ho could only count as he cried. In the first take he was already crying until he was hoarse. After it he asked Chow Sing Chi, "Director, how did I do?" Chow Sing Chi answered with frustration, "Not well! I want you to be like your old man died, like he died twice!" Finally Leung Si Ho cried from 10AM to 5AM, for 17 times with all real tears. After that Lee Lik Chi told Leung Si Ho that aside from the first take, the cameras were not rolling on the rest. At the moment he realized that he has been played. Leung Si Ho tearfully said, "I was still shedding tears when I left, I told myself in the future even if I would become a beggar I wouldn't work on another Chow Sing Chi film. Several years later, he asked his producer to contact me about GOD OF COOKERY (SIK SUN). I was still raging and told the producer to tell Chow Sing Chi, 'Even if I have to beg, I wouldn't make his movies again'." * (2012/09/14) Raymond Lam Fung in the film LOVE IS PYJAMAS (NAM YUN YU YI FOOK) played a photographer and like honey to bees with women. Any woman who dated him would marry rich in the future, thus many women wanted to date him briefly than rapidly dump him for a rich husband. Lam Fung after numerous heartbreak wanted to find a true relationship and asked for street fortune teller So Man Fung for help. He never expected Master So to be sweet on him as well. Lam Fung joked that the character was very fitting for him and he was very comfortable playing it. Every scene was very funny. Sometimes when the director yelled cut, they would immediately laugh nonstop. Director Vincent Kok Tak Siu pointed out that So Man Fung was his mascot. Every time he guest starred in his movies they would perform well. Thus this time he would also use his "holy beast" Master So. * (2012/09/14) Filmmaker Ng See Yuen yesterday received the Hong Kong Baptist University honorary degree for his film industry contribution. Ng See Yuen said that he was very excited and praised Baptist University for sparing no effort in cultivating film personnel. The industry also has many Baptist University graduates. Ng See Yuen pointed out that now most Hong Kong filmmakers are working in the Mainland, causing the film personnel shortage in Hong Kong. Thus now many new film forces need to be cultivated. Baptist University and Sil-Metropole recently have a collaboration project to invest in University graduates to make commercial films so the school and the industry can meet and create opportunities for graduates to enter the industry. Has he thought about starting a school to cultivate talent? Ng See Yuen admitted that he has, once Mainland friends have approached him but he felt that it should be done in Hong Kong. Unfortunately Hong Kong has limited resources and so far nothing has come of it. * (2012/09/14) Sammi Cheng Sau Man and Andy Hui Chi On have been rumored to wed in October, thus Sammi was rumored to have cancelled her end year concert for it. Two nights ago Sammi attended a fashion event in Beijing and denied that she will wed in October. She joked that in October she still will have to make a movie. Has she prepared for a wedding? She said, "I haven't, how should I say it? I still don't know, it can happen at anytime. If we have that feeling then, we would follow the experience!" Will she follow her good friend Andy Lau Tak Wa's lead and hide her marriage? She said, "It's possible! Ha!" Recently Sammi and Wa Jai have been working on the film THE BLIND DETECTIVE (MAN TAM). Working together again after eight years, did they feel like strangers? Sammi said not at all and joked that she already treated Wa Jai like her boyfriend because in the film they played a couple. They on and off screen are very close friends. Wa Jai this time played a blind person and has been compared to Tony Leung Chiu Wai who also played a blind person in THE SILENT WAR (TING FUNG JEH). Sammi pointed out that Wa Jai during the shoot was very relaxed and very quickly got into shape. She said, "He is very kind, beyond comparison person, he just wants to play the character well. This is what I have observed." * (2012/09/14) The Derek Yee Tung Sing produced, Law Chi Leung directed, Nicholas Tse Ting Fung, Lau Ching Wan and Mini Yang Mi starred film THE BULLET VANISHES (SIU SUT DIK JI DAN) will be released in Hong Kong on October 13. Lau Ching Wan and Tse Ting Fung played brave and smart detectives and still have a lot of stunts in the film. In one large scale explosion, even Ting Fung repeatedly called it dangerous. This scene was the largest explosion scene. Ting Fung needed to save a little girl who the crowd pushed down and did not escape in time from the bomb filled arsenal. During preparation, Ting Fung appeared to be contemplative. He said, "Over these ten years, I have made many action films and run into many action scenes. Although I wouldn't feel scared about making these scenes, today's scene reminded me the experience when I first made action films. I also got a little sentimental." This explosion scene blew up five times. Each time when the cameras rolled they would rehearse three to four times. Ting Fung also would repeatedly run to the explosion spot several times to practice and ensued everything was safe. Every time the director yelled cut, Ting Fung would immediately check on his little co-star to see if she was injured. During the next shoot, too much ammunition was used and only the explosion and not the actors were caught on camera. The "shield" on Ting Fung's hands also flew off. He and the child actor were almost injured. Lau Ching Wan shot another explosion scene that was just as dangerous. Because he had to be on the wires during the explosion, he could not escape it. The first time again due to excessive explosive they "overexploded". As soon as the explosion went off the director directly jumped from the chair to yell cut, then rushed over to see if Ching Wan was injured. Luckily Ching Wan only had fire debris on the back of his hand. Ching Wan instead was very calm and even joked that he was very safe! * (2012/09/13) September 12 would have been Gor Gor Leslie Cheung Kwok Wing's 56th birthday. Yesterday Gor Gor's manager Chan Suk Fun along with her son Ka Ho, good friend Lin Yim Fai, Mrs. Chang Chieh, Gor Gor's assistant Kenneth and a group of fans went to Po Fuk Hill to pay their respect. Fans from Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Beijing and Japan brought flowers, cakes, cards and thousand origami cranes. Chan Suk Fun revealed that April 1 will be the tenth anniversary of Cheung Kwok Wing's passing. She planned to hold a tenth anniversary memorial event at the Hong Kong Coliseum and began to contact television stations and organizer friends everywhere in hopes of a satellite broadcast for friends and fans of Gor Gor to enjoy. The memorial event is planned for Sunday, March 31st 2013. Mainland fans have begun to fold origami cranes with blessings for Gor Gor. Chan Suk Fun asked fans to use A4 size, neon red paper so the fan folded origami cranes would demonstrate the memorial event stage. * (2012/09/13) The DUE WEST OUR SEX JOURNEY (YUT LO HEUNG SAI) actors Jeana Ho Pui Yu, Angelina Zhang (Cheung Woon Nga), Celia Kwok Wing Yi, Eva Lee Mu-Ching, Danielle Wang Lidan, Justin Cheung Kin Sing, Gregory Wong Chung Hiu and director Mark Wu Yiu Fai two nights ago attended the film premiere. Aside from Cheung Woon Nga, most actors gave away postcards, milk and condoms on the streets of Mongkok. The event arranged for ten security guards and 20 women in costumes to chant promotional slogans. Kwok Wing Yi often held onto her rumored boyfriend Cheung Kin Sing, Wong Chung Hiu held Lee Mu-Ching tight. Seemingly they were worried about the crowd and accidents. The cast were dressed conservatively for the Mongkok promotion but liberated themselves at the premiere. The always sexy Jeana competed with her rumored rival Cheung Woon Nga. However, neither could compare to the "Mongol Cow" Danielle Wang, whose ample busts became the focus of the entire event. Jeana joked that she raised an army for thousand days for use at any moment. Speaking of Danielle Wang's amazing figure, Jeana joked that people would get tired of too much milk. Smaller was better. Whose figure was better between her and Cheung Woon Ga? Jeana said that figures could not be compared, but she did not forget to mock her. "Because one is a real woman. If she wants to enlarge her breast I can introduce a consultant to her. The golden ratio would be very accurate. They won't be different sizes or transforming balls." Cheung Woon Nga did not attend the Mongkok promote. She did not feel that she was deliberately dodging her and said that she rather enjoyed the street promotion. Cheung Woon Nga was accused of having transforming busts. She graciously complimented Jeana for dressing very pretty two nights ago. She was the prettiest artist that she knew. She was very envious of her and hoped to have more chance to perform in movies like Jeana. Cheung Woon Nga also said that the premiere was the most important moment of her life. Thus the night before she was so nervous she could not sleep. The dress she wore was flown in from Shanghai and was worth six figures. She said, "I am very happy that my figure can hold up this dress." The super buxom Danielle Wang was Mongolian and also from Henan. She humbly said that Cheung Woon Nga and Jeana were both very sexy. She felt that their figures should probably be real; she also said that because of LAN KWAI FONG (HEI OI YEH PO) she knew Jeana, she thought she was decent. Kwok Wing Yi said that she held onto Cheung Kin Sing in Mongkok because he said that he would protect her. Speaking of their rumor, Kwok Wing Yi admitted that Cheung Kin Sing was pursuing her. Currently they were getting to know each other since they have only known each other for three months. Also, Stephen Shiu Jr. and Stephen Shiu, Benny Chan Ho Man and his wife, Sukie Shek Wing Lee attended in support. [ BLAH OF THE WEEK ] Columns, Reviews, Interviews 1. MING PAO DAILY, SEPTEMBER 16 2012, FILM WORDS BULLET'S MYSTERIOUS HEROIC DUO THE BULLET VANISHES: Mysterious and Intriguing The Law Chi Leung written and directed new film THE BULLET VANISHES (SIU SUT DIK JI DAN) is a Hong Kong personnel driven Chinese Hong Kong co-production that depicts a series of murders at a Republic era arsenal. Lau Ching Wan and Nicholas Tse Ting Fung played the police detective heroic duo. This film is a Mainland hit, the performance of which was obviously better than Law Chi Leung's previous Mainland shot CURSE OF THE DESERTED (FONG CHUEN GUNG YU, starring Shawn Yue Man Lok and Kitty Zhang Yuqi). Actually, among Chinese mystery films THE BULLET VANISHES has many entertainment parts. Conceiving and co-writing the story is Law Chi Leung's wife Yeung Sin Ling. The script is truly mysterious and intriguing, with ample characters. Law Chi Leung's visuals are outstanding, the cinematography and the scenery have intricate nostalgia. The dramatic scenes battle wits and the action scenes are explosive. The story development is hard to predict, until the ending it still has twists and turns. The problem is that the film is excessively mysterious for the sake of mystery. In the end the heroic duo's dual even feels forced and violates the flaw of seemingly working but actually not at all. No matter what, the entire film is decently structured, similar to the recent new version SHERLOCK HOLMES yet with its own unique style. Tse Ting Fung and Lau Ching Wan, one in action and the other in drama, perform well. Reportedly the film may have a sequel. Ultimately this investigator partnership is worth supporting. (Three out of five stars) - SHEK KEI 2. APPLE DAILY, SEPTEMBER 15 2012, HEAVY FLAVOR DUE WEST GODDESSES' SIX HANDED MASSAGE Based on the popular internet novel, the 3D category III film DUE WEST OUR SEX JOURNEY (YUT LO HEUNG SAI) made men's northern sex trips hot. Directing for the first time, Mark Wu Yiu Fai not only achieves the Due West spirit in the film but also away from the spotlight he is also Due West possessed and becomes the funny "Fat Fai". He receives the busty masseuse Angelina Zhang (Cheung Woon Nga), Jeana Ho Pui Yu and Celia Kwok Wing Yi's six handed massage service. Director Wu repeatedly says it is beyond great. He even jokes that no one is allowed to yell cut. - BEVERLY DUE WEST OUR SEX JOURNEY Hong Kong Release Date: September 20 Popular online writer Xiang Xi Haruki Murakami's internet novel DONGGUAN FOREST begins with a massage trip up north. Adapted from that sweet story, the 3D film DUE WEST OUR SEX JOURNEY also centers around the original work. First time director Wu Yiu Fai in order to pump up the DUE promotion during his interview brought lead actresses Ho Pui Yu, Kwok Wing Yi and Cheung Woon Nga to a sauna center in Tsim Sha Tsui. They immediately performed a funny version of DUE WEST OUR SEX JOURNEY. Fat Fai Waits For A Four Way Mark after changing crawled onto the massage table and let Due West girls Jeana, Celia and Cheung Woon Nga to give him a fully body massage. The women gave him a service from head to toe. He immediately said, "I dare say if this massage parlor's girls are them, the business would definitely be almost the best in the world overnight. Luckily today I didn't arrange for the lead actors to come, I can go four way. I have waited for this chance for a long time. Let's not release the movie yet, so I can keep doing interviews like this." Although Mark started as a screen writer, he guest starred in a comedic role in 3D SEX AND ZEN: EXTREME ECSTASY (3D YUK PO TUEN ji GIK LOK BO GAM) and cracked up the audience. Thus he had no difficulty with conjuring up Fat Fai at all. He joked, "Right now I am better than Xiang Xi. He just has one (Charlie) Yeung Choi Nei, I have three. I am beyond great." Faster than he could expect them, Jeana, Celia and Cheung Woon Nga used force all at once. Receiving service from otaku goddesses, Mark boasted, "I believe after this interview, I definitely will be a voodoo doll target. I will have a rash on my body, darts thrown at my head. Everyone would envy me. I definitely will be public enemy of all Hong Kong. Why would their goddesses give me a massage." Personally Chooses Actresses Who Are Willing To Take Risk For his first film as a director, Mark even wrote and guest starred as a john. With three jobs he truly had a lot of fun. He said, "Stephen Shiu Jr. insisted for me to be in the cast. Acting truly isn't my strong suit. Along with directing for the first time, I was very afraid that I wouldn't be able to handle everything. I remembered in that scene I brought a girl to a motel room. I directed while acting. After taking my mark I forgot to remove my glasses. I had quite a personality split." Ultimately bed scenes ruled DUE, casting the female characters must be strict. Very few actresses in the business had great figures, were willing to take risks and bare all and acted great. Mark spent several months in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan for casting. He recounted the three women in front of him in detail. "The role of Xiao Yu had to be Jeana. The online survey was unanimous, it wasn't even tailored for her. By chance I discovered that Cheung Woon Nga spoke English very well. She as Xiang Xi's English girlfriend was a little foreign and just right." As for Celia, during audition she learned that the character required nudity. She said yes to everything, when she left she still has not asked who her co-star was. Mark then curiously asked her. Celia replied, "It isn't you?" Mark appreciated Celia's directness and sincerity and decided to give her a chance to join the film industry. Jeana Overcomes Playing Implant Girl D cup Jeana in the film DUE WEST OUR SEX JOURNEY did not have much screen time, but the role of Xiao Yu had a lot of potential. In the story the greedy Xiang Xi already had a significant other hooked up with a hot girl with breast implants Jeana at a night spot and was immediately under her spell. They inevitably had intimate relations. When Xiang Xi discovered Xiao Yu's fake bust fooled him, he took off in a rage. Actually since Jeana started in the business, her 34D transforming bust has always been the focus. She struggled to overcome her mental obstacle before taking the implant girl role. In the film Jeana frequently used her heavyweight D busts to crush her co-star Justin Cheung Kin Sing, leaving him helpless. No wonder afterward he joked that he ate too much and had much less desire. Participating in a 3D film production for the first time, the curious Jeana often asked about everything on the set. She said, "Actually for 3D, the photographers had even more steps. Although it took longer, I looked forward to the effects very much." Jeana's role was a Northern girl with not so fluent Cantonese. Yet she moved to Hong Kong from Beijing when she was little and has already lost her accent. Thus to be convincing she said, "I read the lines in Putonghua once, then again in Cantonese and mixed up the pronunciation." Cheung Woon Nga Pleases Herself And Lets Go After rising to fame as pseudo models, they immediately made the jump into the film industry. DUE WEST OUR SEX JOURNEY has gathered many otakus' busty goddesses, as 34D made in China milk chow Cheung Woon Nga and the 33C bust goddess Kwok Wing Yi put their all in front of the 3D cameras. Rolling In An Embrace During Rehearsal Playing Xiang Xi's English old flame, Cheung Woon Nga had an extremely large appetite for sex. In the film she had to please herself and she let go with her performance. She said, "A character with potential is very rare, I of course went all out." From Qingdao she even had a chance to show off her English. She said, "This time the director tailored this character for me. My English finally came in handy." Celia played Xiang Xi's girlfriend. She could not forget that on her first day she and lead actor Cheung Kin Sing had a passionate kiss and make out session. She was very focused in her performance and did not ask to clear the set. She only asked director Wu Yiu Fai for no rehearsal. Celia said, "I was afraid that too many rehearsals would lead to slip ups. I have to thank the director for personally demonstrating every scene." Even bed scenes? Celia said, "He and Ah Sing rolled around in bed and showed me once. Of course during the actual shoot, Ah Sing said that I was much lighter to roll with in his arms." 3. APPLE DAILY, SEPTEMBER 15 2012, ELECTRIC FILM ROAD TONY LEUNG KA FAI IS WILLING TO RETIRE FROM FILM FROM HIS TWIN GIRLS Going back in time to about 15 years ago, Tony Leung Ka Fai after an overnight shoot returned home to spend time with his family. As soon as he got home and saw his three year old daughter emerging from the kitchen. As he wanted to welcome her with a big hug, he got a big escape instead as she hid behind the maid and stared at this "stranger" with her eyes wide open; children who have not received national education did not know how to pretend. The girl's eyes were full of confusion. Her father's heart was filled with sorrow. From that day on Ka Fai thought about retirement; he wanted to full submerge himself into the roles of husband and father. Yet this film is already in release, the release date is forever. - MAN KWOK CHUN After 30 years in the film industry, the currently 54 year old Tony Leung Ka Fai won the Hong Kong Film Award Best Actor three times. He is second only to another Tony Leung Chiu Wai. Ka Fai earlier promoted his film TAI CHI 0 at the Venice Film Festival. He and director Stephen Fung Tak Lun were interviewed as he told the reporter a story. Ka Fai said, "In the early 90s when the film industry was at its peak, I made 12 movies in a year due to any and all reasons. Everyday at most I would spend half a hour to shower at home. I even deliberately went to the last room to take it so I wouldn't wake my family up. I couldn't even chat with the Old Lady and my daughters. I could only take a look at them in their rooms and give them a kiss." Tears Shedding In The Heart One day something happened that Ka Fai could not go of. He said, "That day after an overnight shoot I got home early. When my older daughter saw me she actually hid behind Sister Maid. She didn't recognize me. At the time I felt like (Danny) Chan Pak Keung's song 'Tears Shedding in The Heart'. I felt pretty distressed. Actually when I focused so much on work my family would be affected so much. At that moment I just realized that between when the girls were born to age three I didn't spend enough time with them, so they didn't remember what I looked like." Ka Fai after that did not make another movie for two years, as he focused on making it up to his two baby girls. "For those two years I was a home husband, picking them up and dropping them off at school, but one day two girls said that their classmates always asked them why Daddy didn't have to go to work. After that I realized that actually that wasn't normal either and I would affect my family again. Then I started to resume taking movie roles." Ka Fai understood that he was an actor, so the outside would always be very concerned with people around him. His life would even be affected. He did not like this feeling, so the idea of retirement often floated around. No Regret In Film Three time Hong Kong Film Award Best Actor and one time Golden Horse Best Actor were absolutely proof of his acting, whether he was ELECTION (HAK SEH WUI)'s Big D or 92 LEGENDARY LA ROSE NOIRE (92 HAK MUI GWAI DUI HAK MUI GWAI)'s Lui Kei he had everyone applauding. In his past 30 years of acting, Ka Fai admitted that he had no regret. Although retirement was constantly on his mind, he still was full of gratitude for film. He said, "I have made movies for 30 years, film has given me a full life. Everyone can only live once, normal people only have one lifetime of experience. However I have played over 100 characters, each one I studied very deeply into. Although I can't say that I have had over 100 lifetimes, but each time I would get something out of it!" Speaking of working with many new actors like Angelababy and Yuen Xiaochao in TAI CHI 0, Ka Fai said that young people gave the movie even more impulse. He said, "Baby is a very smart actress, she really knows how to get herself into character. On the first day on the set she already kept asking me Dad Dad." As for Yuan Xiaochao, Ka Fai joked that he practiced Tai Chi for several months for the movie and thought he was amazing. However after seeing Yuan Xiaochao he realized that he was just a frog in a well. Stephen Fung Practices Tai Chi This year no Chinese film competed in the Venice Film Festival, which made the Stephen Fung Tak Lun directed TAI CHI 0 the focus of the Chinese language media. With both timing and location, he unfortunately did not use up all the harmony from people. Reportedly guest star Shu Qi in order to dodge girlfriend Stephen did not promote there. About his girlfriend's absence, Stephen immediately practiced Tai Chi and said, "I really don't know, promotion has always been the film company's responsibility. I guess that they definitely have asked. I won't mind. She and I have been friends for many years, we are always working together." He admitted that he would not mind tailoring a movie for Shu Qi and praised her as a good actress. TAI CHI 0 during production was severely over budget. Stephen said that during the shoot he was a little worreid. Luckily he had a good producer in Chen Kuo-Fu and his infinite support. He said, "At the time we were already halfway into the production, even when we were over budget I couldn't pull away to talk to the boss. Luckily I had Kuo-Fu. He was responsible to communicate with the boss so I was able to focus on making the movie." Synopsis: Baby, Eddie Peng Turn Against Each Other In TAI CHI 0 a young man named Yang Luzen who was born with horns on his head was treated like a monster since he was little, but he was able to remove all the martial art moves with just one look. After the baptism of war, he wandered to the place of origin of Chen Jia Gou Tai Chi in hopes of learning the style to protect himself. Yet the Chen Clan Fist has never been taught to outsiders. Every time Yang Luzen appeared he would take quite a beating. Luckily he received tips from a mysterious old man, he improved rapidly. Trying To Remove The Danger Of Village Destruction At the same time, the always peaceful mountain village faced the danger of destruction due to the Imperial railrod construction. Returning from studying in England, Feng Zijing put his own future ahead of his hometown's benefits. Yuniang was heart broken over her old flame's change of heart and became determined to save her home. When Zijing led mechanical monsters to force the villagers out, Luzen under the mysterious old man's guidance fought along side Yuniang. BABY IS TOO IN CHARACTER AND BECOMES ROUGH Angelababy in recent years switched from modeling to film. This year she has made six movies. Being able to go to Venice this time, she admitted that it felt great. She was both grateful and honored. In TAI CHI 0 baby played a sassy Tai Chi expert who beat up Yuan Xiaochao as soon as she took offense. She joked that she was too in character. When she was her friends she could not help but be rough. She said, "My friends would say that I acted more like a boy, I even sat with my leg up." Was she afraid of scaring off her boyfriend Huang Xiaoming? Baby awkwardly said, "I wouldn't hit so easily." Addicted To Wire Work As for the film's stunts, Baby said that she personally performed 90% of them. "Action director Big Brother (Sammo) Hung Kam Bo was very willing to let me try the stunts. I would be very happy if I successfully performed them and felt very gratified. I became addicted to wire work, I really liked that feeling of freedom."
