Citybus New Livery

When Citybus' first Scania K94UB (2800) entered service in December 2001, Citybus painted it with a new livery. This new livery contains four colours: red, orange, yellow and blue. The roof and the rear side of the bus is painted in red, with a thin orange ribbon surrounding it. The main part of it is painted with yellow, and it has provided convenience for the posting of banners. The bumper and the lower part of the body are painted in blue.

Since 2800 has entered service, the livery has been welcomed by the society and many bus fans. At the same time, Citybus has begun the scheme to repaint the buses in this livery. Up to now, this livery has been applied on MAN NL262 1501, Dennis Trident 2201, Volgren MAN 2500 and Volvo Olympian 656. However, this livery has been known as one of the most expensive liveries, and as the newly-repainted buses like 514, 657, 801, 805, 807, 817, 821 etc are not painted in this livery but the livery with "more yellow and less red parts", people think that the scheme has probably been suspended.

656
On the date of photo, I was to go to Central to do my history project. As I needed a camera with myself and I had some spare time before the beginning of the project, I waited outside the Landmark to see if it arrived. 20 minutes later, it appeared on route 5B.

Later when I reapproached Central after the project, I saw 656 again, this time on route 10. In this photo, the bus was going really fast!

At night, the colour seems to be extremely unique.
