The Movie

The sequel to the thrilling Ringo Lam jail thriller...
Still incarcerated in the vicious prison hell hole on Lantau Island, Chow Yun Fat befriends a mainland Chinese prisoner named Dragon . Within the prison walls, the population is dividing between mainland Chinese and Hong Kong natives, and Chow finds himself at the centre of the struggle.

Discovered by a sadistic new superintendent who rules both his prisoners and his 'screws' with an iron fist , Chow discovers he and his new found friend are being manipulated by the prison chief, and face only one choice... escape.

Movie Ratings

Not as good or hardcore as the original, but more of a buddy movie. The film revolves around the constant battle between the prisoners from Hong Kong and China. Chow becomes friends with Dragon after he is accused of a murder that he didn't commit. But, Chow was framed as the snitch! A good touch was at the end of the movie, when Chow thought life would get better, his nemesis from Prin On Fire returns!
