The Movie

After his wife is murdered by a vicious street gang, Chow , - 'the King of Killers' - sets up a "peace hotel", sheltering all manner of ruffians, rascals, criminals and lowlife. Chow resolves to never show anyone the door who needs protection - no matter what their reputation!

Chow faces a challenge when a troubled, penniless young swindler - (Cecilia Yip) seeks sanctuary at the Peace Hotel whilst trying to dodge a gang of vicious killers. Chow risks all out war with the local gang lords if he takes her in; how will he resolve his dilemma?

A visually rich piece of film making with some terrific action sequences, Peace Hotel is unique, entertaining Chinatown Western . Come in Peace, but be entertained!

This is the single worst Chow Yun Fat movie that I have ever seen! - Until Tiger On Beat that is! Absolutely boring from beginning to end, and with a storyline that is just way too predictable! Chow plays a guy who used to be a killer, and the day after he killed a gang, he opens up "Peace Hotel". A place where anyone can go. On that night he had left one person alive, and shock horror, they come back after him ten years later!
