A traumatised cop in the throes of mid life crisis. A trigger happy
feisty femme fatale, with a sure eye and an overlarge gun barrel.
This combination is so spectacularly explosive in Naked Killer,
that it makes its American counterparts look obvious & clumsy. Simon
Yam plays Tinam, a cop so haunted by the role he played in the
death of his brother cop that he vomits at the sight of a gun, falls
in love with the dangerous Kitty (Chingamy Yau). Life being
what it is, she's on the other side!
Kitty is in town seeking violent retribution for the death of her
father, and enlists in the help of the city's top hitwoman, Sister
Cindy (Carrie Ng). Eventually, she begins working under her
tutelage as a contract killer. You've never seen the villains fall
so fast, or so hard, when Kitty wipes out the entire floor of an
office building.
To complicate matters further, a slinky and kinky lesbian ex pupil
of Cindy's turns up, ready to play smoking gun with both Cindy and
Kitty. She's really nasty; even her lipstick is poisoned, and
you want to avoid being alone with her in an enclosed space! As the
all action climax to Naked Killer approaches, the martial
arts action gets more and more unbelievable - slow motion, gravity
defying gymnastic violence that makes Hollywood stunt grunts look
cheap and nasty. Kitty and Cindy have become a two woman demolition
squad, on the trail of anyone who exploits their sex...
