<b><i>Miltochrista dentifascia</i></b> Geographical Range
India, Burma, China (Fujian, Guangxi, Yunnan provinces & Taiwan) (Wang, 1994a; Fang, 2000).

In Hong Kong
Distribution: widespread in the New Territories, two records from Lantau Island.
Status: frequent.
Habitats: almost all records are from secondary woodland; two records from plantation woodland and one each from feng shui woodland and tall shrubland. Recorded from 10 to 550m above sea level.
Recorded larval hostplant: not known in Hong Kong.
Adult Phenology: at least bivoltine, recorded from April through early June and from mid-July through mid-October.

Identification Note
Miltochrista dentifascia is similar to Lyclene arcuata and L. acteola, though these two species lack the zig-zag postmedial forewing fascia and have pale orange hindwings.
