Geographical Range
Indian Subregion, South East Asia, Sundaland, Sulawesi and New Guinea (Holloway, 1986).
In China, listed from Yunnan (Wang et al., 1981, under Xyleutes leuconotus (Walker, 1856) - a junior synonym).

In Hong Kong
Distribution: widespread.
Status: scarce, recorded from woodland.
Adult Phenology: possibly univoltine.
