Sept 10 -
Ok I am long over due again for anothe up date. Where to start. Its been a crazy month. Lots of vistors and mom GOT A JOB!!!
Lets just get the job info out of the way. I have landed a job at CNH (Case - New Holland Tractors) in Racine. It is a long term assignment with Kelly Temp. Service. This is how CNH does alot of their hiring for office staff. I have been there since Aug 21. I work in the exporting department, and deal with all our foreign dealers. So far the job is good.
Now on to the lovely twosome. They have been growing like weeds. Both of their teeth are in full view. Tess just doesn't like showing them off. Usually you only see her tongue.
They both sit pretty good on their own and we have now tried every flavor of stage 1 baby foods out there. Its a messy meal but they seem to enjoy it. They haven't refused a flavor yet.
On Aug 30, Maddie began to crawl. She is getting pretty good at it. She loves to crawl over to her sister and take her toy, beat her with a toy, or try and eat her head. Tess is not amused.
We have had company and traveled over the last month. One weekend Grandma Laws and Grandpa Terry came to visit. The next weekend was Uncle Jim, Aunt Lauri, Kylie and Uncle David. The guys went paintballing that weekend. And then we traveled home for Labor Day and visited with the family.
We have been dealing with the dry hot heat and it doesn't look to be getting any cooler soon.
Today was another milestone day for Maddie, Not only did she start pulling herself up and sitting on her back legs, mom noticed a top tooth has broken through. She is a busy little girl. Tess is just letting things come at her on pace. I suspect that her teeth will becoming soon. I just hope she is happier this time around. And she would rather roll everywhere then crawl.
That brings us up to date with the girls activity. They have a doctors appointment next week, so I will be posting new stats on them. Keep a watch out for them. Heres to 8 months old!!!!
Oct 14 -
This will be quick as the girls will be up soon, and we are getting ready to head out of town.
First let me start with stats: Today we saw the dr. for shots (not a fun thing)
Maddie: 17 lbs 10 ounces 28 1/2 inches long Tess: 17 lbs 14 ounces 27 1/4 inches long
The girls are getting more and more active. Maddie crawls everywhere and now she pulls herself up to a standing position, I think she will be walking soon. Tess still just likes rolling, doc said she is just being stubborn. It will come. The teeth keep arriving. In the last month Maddie has gotten 3 new teeth and Tess has 1.
The girls are going to start spending Wed. with Dad, now that his work is closed on Wed. for the winter months. I think they will all enjoy the time together.
We have busy, busy, busy, but it has been fun. Well I know I had better get going. I will try to get some pictures up on the web site next week so everyone can see how big they have gotten. Till then... |
