On June 1, Tess turned over for the first time. Now both girls turn from tummy to back when ever they get fussy and mom has put them down for a nap. Needless to say, Tess is becoming a pro at this.

Well on the weekend of June 4, we were hoping for a quite weekend. Adam and I had plans for dinner and a movie on Saturday. The girls were going to their godmother's for the evening. Dinner that night was great and the movie started out wonderful, but then we got the phone call!
A neighbor was calling to tell us our house was on fire. So we left the movie and drove as fast as we could back to the house. The lord was watching us that evening. We lost our grill, and some siding on the house but that was it. The fire department said that a coal from the night befores bonfire and fall underneath the wooden decking we had and it took about 24 hours before it burned through and back drafted. We are so blessed that our neighbors were home and jumped into action. It may have been a lot worse. I still have horrorable thoughts of the propane tank blowing up the house. See the damage done on the house in "
Our Photo's".

When sunday came we just did busy work around the house and enjoyed the weather.

Stay tune for more updates!

June 20 -

Well I thought I'd better do another update. On June 11 we drove to Shorewood, IL for Alexia's Graduation Open House! The girls got to be in a moon walk for the 1st time. It was nice to see Aunt Donna and Uncle Rob and family. On Sunday we once again we busy around the house. There is always something to do when you own your own home.

On June 15, Grandma Laws came to visit. So she kept the girls on Thursday and Friday, while mom and dad were at work. She was originally going to go home on Saturday, but Adam and I decided to go to a White Sox game. So she watched the girls Saturday night, too. She left Sunday morning after they went back to sleep. She told me she had lots of fun but was tired. Boy I don't have any clue why!!!

June 19 was Adam's 1st Father's Day!! He got lots of wonderful cards and the girls got him a T-Shirt stating "World's Greatest Dad" and a picture frame/photo album with "Daddy's Little Girls" engraved on it. And the pictures in it were of them in their new White Sox onsies! Dad thought they were great. I had them dress in them that morning. So he was so suprised when he saw the pictures. Adam took the girls for a stroll by himself in the afternoon. He played with his new edger and just relaxed and enjoyed the day. I worked on yard work and assembled the new grill.
'
Now its Monday again and we are back to work. They days are counting down until Mom's last day. July 1st is just around the corner. I am still hoping and praying to find a new job soon. Well that it for now!

July 11

The girls are 6 months today!!! Wow were has the time gone.  Lets see mom needs to do a lot of updating.

The weekend of June 25 - Grandma Wertz came for a visit. The girls went to their first craft show and garage saling. I don't think they were that impressed and I think the heat got to them a little. It was a hot weekend. Grandma was amazed at how big they had gotten and how much they had changed since she saw them Memorial Day weekend.

The weekend of July 4th was very busy. Mom and dad had a big party at the house on Saturday night. The girls got lots of attention and got to see their godfather for awhile. I think he was glad to see them. Then on Sunday - Grandma Laws and grandpa Terry came up to help celebrate dad's birthday. Sunday night the girls got to see their first fireworks!! They never cried at the big boomer and just stared at the lights in the sky. Then on the 4th we celebrated Dad's birthday. He got a lot of great gifts from everyone. On Tuesday, grandpa and grandma went back to Indiana, dad went back to work and mom went... what do I do with myself all day. It was my first official day of unemployement. So I spent the day playing with the girls - althought they slept a good part of the day. I think it was catch up from the exciting weekend they had. We there is stuff going on these 2 will not sleep, I think they are afraid they might miss something.

We are getting into a bit of a routine around the house. The girls still go see Terry, the babysitter, a couple days a week. Which gives me a chance to get alot of errands done and things around the house. Even Trevor, our dog, is enjoying having someone around the house more.

On Friday, July 8, mom discovered Maddie cut her first tooth!! Its just peeking out, but its there and I think the other one is on the way. Tess is drooling like crazy and chewing on everything but nothing yet.

On Saturday the girls got their first tastes of baby cereal. And boy do they love it, not really sure what to do with it but they want more. Tess looks like a little bird with her mouth always open for more.

On Sunday, we "crashed" the Zarelliti Family Reunion. Adam's cousin Susan is married to a Zarelliti, and they have an annual family reunion in Kenosha. It was really great to see Susan and Dan. And I know the girls enjoyed all the attention they got.
