Boy - the family is exhausted. The girls were baptised this weekend. So, we had a house full and I don't know if the girls were ever put down for longer than 10 minutes. The girls were wonderful at church, not a single tear was shed during the baptism. We joked that they probably thought it was bath time!! (One of their favorite times of the day.) It was great to see the family and friends that came to celebrate. We were so excited Aunt Donna and Uncle Rob and the crew were able to come. We are also glad Uncle Rob made it home safely for Iraq.

Well the girls had an exciting weekend!! Their Uncle Jim and Aunt Lauri came to visit.  Kylie didn't seem to impressed with the girls and vice versa. Just wait another year and those 3 will be causing so much trouble together.

It was a quiet weekend. The girls just keep mom jumping. They are awake more during the day. And of course don't want to sleep on the same nap schedule. So mom had a baby to entertain all the time. Tess has really started to talk and Maddie loves to laugh. Her laugh lights up a room. We worked on tummy time!! The girls are getting better at holding their head up.

Well the girls were just at the doctor for their 4 month shots. All though they didn't like the shots they did very good otherwise. Their 4 month stats are:

Maddie:  11 lbs 4 oz - 24 inches long
Tess:  10 lbs 12 oz - 23 1/2 inches long

Oh Boy - Friday the 13th!! Should I be worried??

Well a little update, We had a lovely Mother's Day Weekend. Adam and the girls got mom a beautiful necklace with 2 teeny-tiny rings on it with the girls birthstone.  Adam and I loaded the girls up and they had their first trip to the zoo!! Although they slept through most of the outing. It was nice to get out and enjoy the beautiful day.

Then on Monday, May 9, Maddie did an amazing thing. She rolled from her tummy to her back. She only did it once and hasn't done it since. So who knows maybe it was just the way we were laying on the couch but it was still pretty darn amazing.

Well mom had a sad weekend - I had to pack up all the little 0-3 month clothes and bring out the 3-6 month clothes. Not fair!!! They are just growing so fast. I know they are supposed to do that.

We did go for a nice stroll in the park on Sunday with the dog. I think the the dog enjoy it the most. And in the evening we had a nice bonfire that Maddie got to enjoy. Tess was a sleep.

Now I am getting ready to start packing for the big weekend trip back to Indiana for Memorial Day. The girls first trip - we will see how this goes. Hope to have lots to write about next week.

Ok mom's been busy and hasn't had a chance to update. Where to start?

Let's start with the recap of Memorial Day Weekend. It was the girls first road trip. They did very good. But we did plan it around nap time - so they slept the whole way. We started the weekend at Grandma Laws and Grandpa Terry's house. Uncle Andrew came and visited them. Then Sunday we were off to Grandma Wertz's for a picnic. At which point I don't think they got put down. They got to meet their Great-Grandma Grieger. She was so excited to see them. They also got to meet their Aunt Sissy, and cousins Rosa and Tiffy.  Also at the get together was Uncle Jim, Aunt Lauri and cousin Kylie. Along with Grandma Laws, Grandpa Terry and Uncle Andrew. Monday we were back on the road again. It was a wonderful trip and I know the girls enjoyed all the attention.
