Chibi-Hiei chan

One sunny day a cute little red hair boy played by himself in the fields. His name was Kurama, a fox spirit who had reincarnated into a human boy. He giggled and frolicked among the daises, he ran until he reached the nearby lake and stopped to rest because he was tired. As he looked into the horizon, he saw the rest of the village kids playing and swimming in the placid lake, suddenly he felt overwhelmed with sadness and he began to cry. None of the village kids wanted to play with him because he was so beautiful. He had long red flowing hair and big green eyes that shown like precious emeralds. He was short and cute and all the village girls wanted to be his girlfriend, but the village boys envied him terribly. They called him names and beat him up. So he played alone. Oh how he wished for a someone to play with. He would give up his beauty gladly just for a little friend. He heard the midday bell and the other children ran home to eat lunch, but he didnt feel like going home. He was too sad to eat.

He approached the lake and looked at his reflection. He examined himself, he pinched his cheeks and opened his eyes wide, "Oh, I wish I had a friend, Id do anything", he said softly. Then suddenly he saw a beautiful maiden appear in the lake, she was smiling at him. The boy was surprised and sacred. He tired to run but his legs wouldnt move. He tired to scream but nothing came out of his mouth.

"Dont be afraid little one. I wont hurt you," said the maiden tenderly. She came out of the lake, but her body wasnt wet. She wore a long flowing silk dress that was the same color as her hair, blue. She wore her hair in a pony tail and she had a mysterious broom with her. She approached the boy and asked him his name. "My name is Kurama," he responded softly.
"Its nice to meet you Kurama. Im Botan, the guardian of the lake."
"Really, I didnt know the lake had a guardian. Its nice to meet you Botan."
"Well Kurama, I heard that you were having some trouble making friends."
"Yes, the other boys wont play with me."
"And why is that?" she asked tenderly.
"They say that I look like a little girl!", he shouted and began to cry once again.
"Now, now, dont cry. Its not your fault theyre ignorant." She heard him laugh. "You look so pretty when you smile Kurama."
"Thank you maam."
"Oh, you have manners too. Such a sweet boy. For being so nice and polite, Ill grant you a wish."
"Really! A wish! You mean I can get any thing I want?" he asked excitedly.
"Yes, what ever you want."
"Well theres only one thing I really want! I want a friend."
"Now thats an easy wish", she responded. Botan then spun her broom around very fast and then sparkles of all colors illuminated their surroundings. She said a few magic words and baam! An egg appeared at her foot. "Oh, an egg! Will my friend be an animal? Oh I always wanted a pet!" said Kurama merrily.
"Well your egg will be whatever you want it to be. All you have to do is to give it love and keep it warm, it will hatch in a few weeks. The more love you give it, the faster it will hatch."
"Really, oh! Ill give it plenty of love. I promise!"
"I have confidence in you Kurama. Im sure youll love whatever is in your egg."
"You mean you dont know?" he asked curiously.
"No, but I have to go. Come back when your egg hatches."
"Yes, maam! I will."
"Now run along and go have lunch. But you must not tell anyone about me."
"I wont. I promise", said Kurama as he ran along with his egg. He reached home but his mother didnt question him about the egg, she thought it was something harmless. But the egg was large, she figured it was a goose egg or something.

For the next couple of weeks Kurama took care of his beloved egg. He took it where ever he went and gave it a lot of love. He slept, ate, played and talked with it. Then one day when he was by the lake telling the egg about how the girls in the village always chased after him, the egg began to crack. Kurama grew very excited and laughed and cheered giddily, "Oh, come on little egg hatch! Hatch!" he cried. He looked on, his eyes wide with excitement. The egg cracked at every corner and out came a cute little boy. He had black hair and big red eyes. He looked at Kurama curiously and smiled. He stretched his little arms and Kurama picked him up.

Kurama carried him to the edge of the lake and called for Botan, he repeated her name several times and then she emerged from the water.
"Oh Kurama, its a little fire demon!" she cried excitedly as she examined the little boy.
"Demon?" asked Kurama a little worried.
"Dont worry. Hes good, hell be very loyal."
"A fire demon and a fox demon. Who would have thought?"
"Well, Ill leave you too to get acquainted", said Botan as she dived back into the lake.
And so Kurama got his little friend, he eventually named him Hiei. They played together everyday and so this how little Hiei-chan came to life. Hiei-chan is now worshipped by many crazed teenage girls around the world.

The end.
