What is Pashmina?
Pashmina, from the Persian word for wool, is one of the greatest treasures ever to come out of the Himalayan kingdoms; it is possibly one of the richest, rarest fibers in the world. Once known as ��the fiber of the gods��, it is possibly the softest, lightest and warmest wool nature has produced, and unlike any other wool, it is actually gets softer with every time you wear it!

Pashmina wool is part of the cashmere family, but it is even finer. It is shorn form the undercoat of the Himalayan mountain goat(Capri hircus) which is indigenous to the remotest regions of Tibet Plateau & Central Asia.

Pashmina Care
Pashmina is surprisingly easy to care for and does not need to be dry clean.
?laquo; To hand wash your shawl, submerge it in cool water and gently wash with a natural mild soap, baby shampoo or castile soap
?laquo; Rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear and lay out to dry (avoiding direct sunlight)
?laquo; To press, use a cool iron and a damp cloth. (use wool setting on iron)
?laquo; If in doubt then go for professional dry cleaning
