| PRACTICAL JOKES One day, my husband bought a brand new 2001 Yamaha red motorcycle. He was so in love with it that it was the only thing that he would talk about everyday. I started to think that he was more in love with the motorcycle than with me, since he was always worried that something would happen to it or that one day it would get stolen. Anyway, since he loves his motorcycle so much, I decided to play a joke on him. One day, I came home from work, and I saw his motorcycle in the parking lot. I went inside the apartment acting surprisingly, and I said to him: "Oh, I didn't know you were here, because I didn't see your motorcycle outside". He got so scared, he got up and ran outside the apartment straight to the parking lot to see if it was true. When he saw that the motorcycle was still on the parking lot, he came back in the house and saw me on the floor laughing. Well, he didn't think it was funny and told me not to play like that again. Yeah right, like I'm going to listen to him. Je,je,je..... Few weeks later, I went right ahead and did the same joke again. I came home from work and he had the motorcycle parked outside by the stairs this time. I went in and did the same joke to him again. He told me: "Oh no, I'm not falling for that one again". With a serious face, I said: "No, I'm really serious this time. Your motorcycle is not downstairs" (of course, I was really playing). Once again he went running outside from the apartment to see his motorcycle. Yet he found that he felt again on the joke I had pulled on him previously. Now, he had forgiven me for playing those jokes on him. And one day, he had to go to the court to pay some tickets that he had gotten before for speeding on the motorcycle. Well, the judge had dropped off all the charges and told him to go home. So he went home happy knowing that he didn't have to pay any fine. All of the sudden his day became a nightmare when he did not see his motorcycle in the parking lot. He thought it was another joke of mine, so he called me at work and told me: "Okay, where's my motorcycle?" I told him that I didn't know what he was talking about. I hadn't done anything with his motorcycle. When I left home this morning, the motorcycle was in the parking lot. He started to get worry about his motorcycle, so he decided to call the cops and the company at where he bought his motorcycle. He was also asking the neighbors if they had seen it. Well nobody knew anything. Someone actually stole his precious motorcycle. Well, it seems like that playing practical jokes like that can become real, which means that people should not play those kind of jokes that may be able to hurt people feelings.. Written by: CHAYA |
