2 seater training and sports aircraft, F/F: 22nd April 1925, 2 built
cantilever monoplane, corrugated Duralumin, developed by Zindel
Historical Data:
The T29 was an experimental aircraft for the new Junkers double wing (patented in 1921 DRP Nr. 396 621) flap system. This flap system was later used at the G38 and the Ju52. A very new feature of the T29 was the arrangement of the seats. Instead of putting the two seats behind each other, in the T29 both seats were arranged beside each other. A metal belt structure was constructed above the cockpit for pilot's safety.
