The Pommersche Motorenwerke GmbH was founded in 1935 in Stettin. A facility was built at Arnimswalde near Stettin. PoMo was not owned by Junkers, but was only a license manufacturer of Junkers engines like the Mitteldeutsche Motorenwerke GmbH in Taucha.
