at crashsite

This aircraft was original a Ju52/1m, but was reconstructed while it was built to Ju52/3m. It was the first Ju52/3m to be built. First flown on 7th March 1932 the aircraft was sold to Bolivia in the same year together with c/n 4009 and registered CB17, Juan del Valle with LAB. On November, 4th 1940 the aircraft crashed while enroute above wooden aereas in East Bolivia. The aircraft remained at the crash site until today, but is in a very poor condition. A detailled report of Johann Jakob, who visited the crash site, could be found in FLUGZEUG, No. 5/1996 published by Flugzeug Publikations GmbH in Germany.
