This Ju52 was captured during the Stalingrad campaign by the Russians. It was further used by Russian AF or Aeroflot in Siberia later. In 1948 the aircraft was forced to perform an emergency landing at a hillside near Chita in the Taiga region due to icing conditions. The aircraft remained at the crashsite until 2005 and was then moved to Novosibirsk for further restauration. At the fin area a part plate was found with the following infos (Serie 35202.52136, Zeichn 800698, Tyo. u. Grp Ju52 Lsf VI, F.M.4.39)
