The history of '6300' is a little bit difficult to identify as the serial number of this aircraft is uncertain. It seems to be an original Junkers Ju52, which was built for Luftwaffe and came to Portugal during the 1950s. It was used by the Portuguese AF as '6300'. In 1972 the aircraft was withdrawn from use and stored at the DGMFA (Air Force General Material Depot) Alverca. It is in derelicted condition, minus engines.
