This picture was taken in the year 1936 prior to my high school graduation on May 24, 1936 so you are right with your guess of April 12, 1936.

Doris sent me a picture labeled on the back as "Smith Family Easter Sunday." In the note she sent with the picture she said "We are not sure of the year ... What is your guess 1934 or 1935 or ?" My guess is April 12, 1936. This would make me 4 years and 2.5 months old. My second guess would be April 21, 1935. What do you think. I made up a chart to help in the decision:
