Maggie's Page Poetry by Maggie McConnell ![]() |
Nothing's ever good enough for me even when Heaven's holding me. I wish I had the eyes to see an angel lying next to me. I never knew the words to say to keep my angel, to make you stay. Now it seems an illusion, whoever thought there would be such confusion. I never thought I'd live to see my angel fly so free from me. What happened to my angel? Was it all in my Head? ONE MORE One more tear down my cheek One more word I did not speak One more lie I shouldn't have said One more memory in my head. One last kiss before I cry One more day till I say good-bye One last day to sit and cry Wonder why I let the days go by? ...Lagniappe! |
