| Everyone's eyes were locked on the door and the room grew quiet. "Hey guy's. Give me a little help here. The door is jammed." Mr. Gnabah said. "Oh god..." Alexis let out a sigh of relief. She walked over to the door and jerked it open. Mr. Gnabah walked in and shut the door behind him. "I called the police. They are on their way. But what we need to do now is to get out of here. That guy is in here and there is more than just one guy. Come on, just stay close together." he said while opening the door. Right as he was stepping out of the class room Alexis screamed. Dawson pulled their teacher back in the room and slammed the door shut. "What? What did you see?" Mr. Gnabah asked. "That guy was out there. He has a mask on and a knife. He was standing by the water fountain." Alexis told him. "OK, we can't go out that way." he started. "Lets try the window." He walked over to the window and opened it. Just as he was climbing out Dawson pulled him back in. "I could see the shadow of somebody walking up to the window." he told the teacher. "Oh god. I don't like this at all." Heather cried. "We have to stay calm, just follow me." Scott said looking up at the ceiling. He stood on a chair and started messing with the air vent. When he got the cage off he helped Heather climb up into it and move out of the way till someone else came up. Scott climbed up then helped pull Alexis up and Dawson came up after her. After all the kids were in the vent Mr. Gnabah came up. "OK. What is your plan, Einstine?" he asked Scott. "Well, they think that we are going to try and come out by the doors or windows. Why don't we fool them and go out by the roof?" "Hey, that is a good idea." Alexis smiled. "Yea, that's a great idea. Lets do it." Heather agreed. They all started down the vent then stopped. "Which way do we go?" Dawson asked. "Just follow me. I've been in these things before." "Excuse me?" Mr. Gnabah said with a strict look on his face. "Um, I'll explain that later." Scott said and started crawling up the vents. About ten minutes later he stopped. "What? Why are we stopping?" Alexis asked. "We're here. Lets go." he said kicking out a vent and jumping up onto the roof. Everyone followed him out and walked out onto the roof. As Alexis was looking out over the parking lot she heard the door to the roof open. She turned around just in time to see Scott getting stabbed in the back. "Scott!" Heather yelled. She ran over to him and kneeled down beside where he fell. "Scott, are you OK?" she sobbed. "Get away from here. He'll come back." he choked out. "No. You have to get out of here." she demanded trying to help him up. Alexis ran over to where the masked guy ran and tried to find him. Where did Mr. Gnabah and Alex go? she thought to herself. As she was walking around a bin she heard someone walking behind her. She turned around and seen the masked murderer. "Why are you doing this?" she asked. "Because, I'm sick of getting picked on. You die now!" he yelled lunging towards her with the kinfe. She jumped out of the way and he stabbed at the air. He turned around to see Alexis making a run for it and ran after her. Right as he was catching up with her he tripped over something and fell. Alexis looked back to see someone else attacking Dawson and Alex. She ran over and jumped on the guys back and grabbed his mask. Right as she was pulling it off he flung her to the ground and kicked her in the side. She curled up in a ball and waited for his next kick, but there wasn't one. She looked up and seen him stabbing Alex in the side. Alex fell to the ground and grabbed his side in pain. As the masked murderer was going for Alex again Dawson jumped on his back. Dawson started hitting him and leading him away from Alex. The guy ran backwards and rammed Dawson into the brick chimney. Dawson let go of the guy and fell to the ground. Alexis ran up to him to see if he was alright. "Go get help. Find Mr. G." he told her. She could hear the pain in his voice. "No. I'm not going to leave you guys here alone. I'm helping." she said looking over at Heather and Scott. Heather had Scott sitting up and she was tieing her scarf around him to stop the bleeding. One of the masked murderers ran up behind them. "Heather, watch out!" Alexis screamed. Heather couldn't hear her. "Heather, behind you!" Alexis yelled again. When Heather turned around the guy stabbed her in the chest, then again in her side. Heather fell backwards over Scott and right over the edge of the building. Scott jumped to his feet in pain and tried to catch her, but he was too late. He stood there looking over the side of the building, down at his dead girlfriend. Alexis heard someone yelling then seen Alex and the other masked murderer fighting. "You're too close to the edge!" Dawson yelled. Alex looked over at Dawson right when the guy hit him, causing him to lose his balance. He grabbed the guys arm, then the mask and fell backwards taking the guy with him. Before they fell over Alexis seen the guys face. He wasn't a he. It was Kellie Price, one of Alexis' and Heather's friends. But why would she want us dead? Alexis thought to herself. Alexis directed her attention back to Scott who was wrestling around with the other guy. |
