"Compromise Has A Price - Part III"
Dear Friends & Family,

Let us be found with a true praise for our Lord on our hearts.  A true testimony of the great works He has done in us should always be found on our lips.  Our lives should testify of the redeeming work that Jesus did at the cross.  I pray the Holy Spirit speaks to hearts through these messages I pray that each of us examines ourselves.  We must examine our motives!  We must examine our attitudes.  Do we truly believe in the Spirit or is our faith in the flesh?  Have we compromised the Gospel for the approval of others?  Have we compromised the Gospel so we can fit in and get along with others?  Have we compromised to have an easier road?  These are questions we all must ask the Holy Spirit as we examine ourselves.  We live in serious times not walking 100% with God has serious consequences!  By the wisdom of the Holy Spirit tonight I hope to enlighten you.  Shake you!  Get you to open your eyes to this trick of satan.  A trick that will not only affect you and where you spend eternity, but also your spouse, your children and your church.  It will touch all that you love.  Behold and know that Compromise Has A Price.

In the first part of this message the Holy Spirit led me to talk about some of the folly that compromise has caused in the United States.  Our country and a great majority of its leadership are now all but shaking their fists in the face of God.  I recently heard a quote from a female Supreme Court Justice who Clinton had approved she believes and says that Christianity has no place in politics!  This Justice also wants 12 years of age to be the legal age for consenting to have sex!  A recent Surgeon General who promotes sex education and contraceptives for children has all the answers concerning the teenage pregnancy rate it is high because of the backward teachings of Bible believers!  A church in San Francisco recently had its congregation harassed by homosexuals.  The church was surrounded, the homosexuals assaulting people trying to go in.  They beat on the doors and windows, they spat on the preacher.  Why?  The church preaches against the abomination of homosexuality!  The police wouldnt arrest any of the homosexuals  The reason?  Poor things had been insulted and verbally assaulted by the preaching of the Gospel!  You see, the uncompromised Word tends to offend some people.  The Pharisees and Sadducees were offended by Jesus Word too!  An ex-president is raking in millions from his book recounting whoredoms and adulteries.  By the way, people say its normal and to be expected!  The leader of a country founded on the Bible is expected to be an adulterer.  Whats wrong with this picture?  No wonder five Justices on the Supreme Court are getting by with introducing law to uphold abortion, homosexuality and all manner of sin.   Every ruling that comes down says separation of church and state, and religion cant be taught in public schools.  What I find strange about all that is this: the government spends billions of dollars every year to have humanism taught in our schools, yet in 1961 the Supreme Court ruled humanism to be a religion!  Chew on that one a bit  Remember, it was expected for the last president to commit adultery, but it seems most people think President Bush refers to his faith too much.  Oh my, Christians its time to WAKE UP!  You have a voice!  You have a prayer room!  You have a vote!  Its time to stand up when this country continues to stomp on the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  When they start to call good evil and evil good!  Senator Kennedy just praised a man for being one of the great leaders in Planned Parenthood.  That same man, a doctor, was aborting a child when the child started to breathe.  The doctor tried to smother the baby in the womb.  After placing the baby on a table, it again tried to breathe, but no one was allowed to help.  Such men are called great, while President Bush is criticized!  Our nation wants a good economy and a good time and they dont care about putting a devil in office to do it!  Stop and look around at the condition of godlessness that our nation is in today.  It is sinking deeper daily.  Anything and everything is permissible (except things of God), and soon nothing will be a shock or a shame!  Friends, COMPROMISE HAS A PRICE!

One of the biggest hindrances today among Christians is that they compromise when it comes to separation from the world.  People can dance in the Spirit, speak in tongues, preach up a storm yet when they walk out the door they want to dance and flirt with the devil!  Gods Word is clear in II Corinthians 6:17-18.  The Word of God says, Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.  Still, people want to say, Well, Im witnessing  That sounds good and some may even believe that lie of the devil.  The very fundamental basis for God to have a relationship with us, is separation from ALL evil.  What fellowship has light with darkness?  We are to separate ourselves from anyone and anything that is contrary to Jesus Christ.  The worlds attitude is totally opposite from the attitude of Christ.  God requires that we separate ourselves spiritually and physically from sin!  Jesus went among the sinners with compassion on them because they were lost.  He brought them the opportunity to receive Him.  He gave the Word THEN HE LEFT!  He gave his disciples the same instructions when they went into a city and were rejected, to shake the dust of that city off their feet.  Nowhere can anyone show me where Jesus sat down and played a game with them.  No where can anyone show me where Jesus played basketball, baseball or shot pool with sinners.  Sit down and eat with them, yes, and He would be bringing them the Truth, the Way and the Life all the time.  Im positive that he wouldnt take part in listening to their jokes.  Im positive he wouldnt be found singing and playing satans music.  Yes, I can be quite sure that He would dominate the conversations and the singings in glory, praise and worship to God.  Evil communications corrupt good manners.  Let me just give you all that scripture and a bit more I Corinthians 15:33-34.  Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.  AWAKE to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.  Lets look at another one,
I Thessalonians 5:22-23a, Abstain from ALL appearance of evil.  And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly  How about III John 1:11?  Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good.  He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.  Let us not forget that we are to not be unequally yoked!  You cant get much plainer than those scriptures.  It doesnt even take any discernment or revelation to understand them.  If we ignore them or compromise and make excuses, then something is wrong in our heart!  If we are attracted to the world, it is because we are drawn away by our own lust, our own desires.  That desire is not the desire of God, it is the desire of satan.  Its not a trait of our Father, but a trait of satan in his children.  In I Corinthians 11:28 concerning the taking of communion, we are warned to examine ourselves.  I pray this is not taken lightly God has put it on my heart as a warning to someone: Compromise Has A Price.

Separation, standing out, being peculiar is now and always has been a requirement for Gods people.  Required by God for those who are truly His.  If we fit in with the world then they may feel theyre as saved as we are.  Oh but if your separated life is a testimony, it makes them uneasy.  It makes them take notice.  They see something different.  They realize that their way of life may be wrong.  Theyll want to know what makes you so different.  It takes separation to truly communicate that you belong to God!  Read about it for yourself in Exodus 23:24, Leviticus 11:44, Deuteronomy 7:3 and Ezra 9:1-2.  God so wanted the Israelites to be separate and not conformed to the world, that He completely destroyed the Canaanites (look in Joshua).  The Word of God says that the world will teach His people to sin against Him (Deuteronomy 20:18).  What is the world teaching you?  Your children?  Because of Gods peoples persistent desire to mix and partake in the lifestyles of the nations around them, God allowed them to be exiled to Assyria and Babylon.  I challenge you to run a reference of this in the Old Testament.  Compromise Has A Price.

In the New Testament, Gods command to His people is no different.  We are to separate from this corrupt world system (by speaking up, by not voting for someone because we think itll put more money in our pocket).  We are to separate from unholy compromise (speak out against the lies being taught and preached in the land).  You can read it yourself in John 17:15-16, II Timothy 3:1-5, James 1:27 and 4:4.  Separate from unrepentant church members. (Matthew 18:15-17, I Corinthians 5:9-11 and II Thessalonians 3:6-15)  We must separate from false teachers and preachers, anyone who denies the Bible truth.  Look at Titus 3:9-11 and run a reference for yourself.  To truly separate is to hate sin and all that this corrupt world stands for. We will stand against false doctrine (Galatians 1:9).  In doing all this we still demonstrate a genuine love for those who we must separate from.  If we stand firm on the Word of God we will reap Gods blessings and souls!  If we do this He will show us the care of a proud Father.  To compromise and refuse to separate says we dont care what God wants.  I think our II Corinthians 6:16-18 puts it all pretty plain.  Compromise brings loss of fellowship with God!  Loss of Gods acceptance!  Loss of privileges for Gods children.  No blessings and no protection.  VERY dangerous ground!  Let us examine ourselves today, for Compromise Has A Price!

            In Christ's Love,
Bro. Don George

Are men and women who stand for the truth and preach the uncompromised Word of God becoming an endangered species?  It would seem so!  Yet, they are still to be found if you are hungry enough to search them out.  Pastor Kerry Yates and his wife Patricia are a rare breed, and we invite you to come hear them minister as the Spirit directs at House Upon A Rock Tabernacle in Jamestown, KY.  If you need directions, a ride or more information, please drop us an email or visit the website.  Take care!
