"Compromise Has A Price - Part I"
Greetings in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Saviour and soon-coming King. Let us all be found with praises on our hearts, serving Him when He returns. I count it a blessing to be able to bring the Word of God to you once again this month. The Holy Spirit has given me many messages, but this message has laid on my heart. We are in the last days and the wise virgins with their lamps full of oil will soon be called up. The world may seem chaotic now, but nothing compared to what is about to come. I see so much compromise taking place in pulpits and churches. God does not change and He does not lie. The same standards He set at Mt. Sinai are still today�s standards! The same warning of judgment He set and carried out then, is still true for today. Times change, people change, but God is still God! His examples set in the days of Moses still apply. Because of wickedness in the hearts of men (and many preachers), the Word has been bent, rewritten, watered down and compromised. I hope today to warn and convince compromised Christians that �Compromise Has A Price.�
I�m very thankful that God allowed me at
a young age to set under the preaching of some of His great men. Men that spoke under the authority of God and not the University of Popularity! Men that were God called, God sent, Holy Ghost filled and empowered! Men taught by the Holy Spirit and not a bunch of theologians. Some were prophets. Some were pastors. Some were evangelists. All were teachers of the uncompromised Word of God! These were men that spent time with God and taught God�s standard. The standard of holiness. Even in the 70�s, satan was slipping into the churches just like he has since the beginning! There were those then that wanted to undermine God�s will and purpose. They made fun of men and women of God, calling them �Holy Rollers�, �Tongue Talkers� and �Screaming Sawdust Kickers�. Still, there were a select chosen handful of no-compromise men of God that continued to preach God�s Word and not back up. They had no apologies for the standard that God had set and they weren�t swayed by greed! Sadly, the people who did not repent from �touching God�s anointed� paid a price for it. Some were ministers themselves and turned from God�s �old-time ways� � they compromised God�s Word to suit the people. I saw and heard of God�s judgment on them. While the men that night after night, week after week, and year after year stood firm and enjoyed full lives. God rewarded the men that stood, and He judged the men that compromised. �Compromise Has A Price.�
It�s not strange anymore in our country or in a lot of today�s churches to see compromise. By popularity our nation�s lawmakers and leaders are driven. The Ten Commandments, possibly the greatest revelation of God for moral standard, is unpopular and now considered offensive! What happened to them? It�s now against the law to post them in the very place that moral law is supposed to be upheld! It�s against the law to post them and teach them in the schools where children�s minds are being formed. The mention of �God� is not permitted in the Pledge of Allegiance! Oh and you�d better not get caught praying in a school! Whatever you do, don�t mention the name of Jesus! *sigh* What really makes the Holy Spirit shake inside me is that you�d better not mention Jesus or His gender in a lot of churches today! It�s offensive! Someone�s civil right to be homosexual might be violated� Wake up people! Look around at what�s happening with our children. Look at the murders in schools. Look at the teachings of evolution. Look at the teenage pregnancy rate and how popularity dictates the compromise of God�s moral standard. A form of idolatry is in the land, and it is a false god! It is driven by a demon sent by satan. It�s �new age religion� and if it feels good do it. It�s the sin of compromise and the price is eternal damnation to hell. Its price is sorrow upon sorrow! If Jesus was bodily present here in the world today, I have no doubt He would say, �BEHOLD (which means STOP and LOOK), you need to see what�s going on!� He would say �BEHOLD!� and point out the murdered babies, now called abortion and woman�s rights. THOU SHALT NOT KILL, not even if a girl or woman has made a mistake! �BEHOLD!�, the father of that child is guilty too. �BEHOLD!�, the doctors, nurses and all involved are guilty. And �BEHOLD!� � the judges and lawmakers are also guilty! Because of God�s moral standard being unpopular in a world driven by idolatry, many preachers and lawmakers and leaders have compromised God�s standard. The Holy Spirit cries out through me today, �Compromise Has A Price!�
All of this started in the Garden of Eden.
If you look back to Genesis 1 and 2, you�ll see God�s plan for a perfect creation. Peace and harmony among all living things. Fellowship with God, walking and talking with Him. The birds singing, the gentle rustling of green leaves and tall grass, beautiful flowers that did not die. The lamb and the lion walking alongside Adam and Eve as they enjoyed God�s continuous presence. I can only look at our beautiful spring weather and try to imagine what it was like there in the beginning! Then as we read Genesis 3, the very origination of all the evil manifested today comes to mind. The temptation and fall is accounted there. A slick-tongued devil showed up and all that God had spoken to Adam and Eve was compromised. The very nature of man was loosed � sin. At that time consequences of that fall (compromise) were set into place. Every murder, act of adultery, fornication, worship of false gods, rape, child molestation, greed, selfishness and hate was loosed. All of these driven by demonic powers, by satan. When anyone gives in to compromise they open the doors to demonic forces, and the door to destruction. We can read on and see the murder that Cain committed. We can read through Genesis 10 and see God�s judgment in the
Flood � the price of compromise. Then we see that God gives man another chance, a new beginning. I ask that you read these scriptures and pray that the Holy Spirit opens your eyes and ears to the seriousness of even what we might consider the smallest compromise. It�s time to stand and speak out against it in the church, and to our state and national lawmakers. It�s time for leaders to answer to God and be held accountable by His people. Friends, �Compromise Has A Price.�
This message may be two parts, three or more as the Spirit leads. It is certainly not complete and will be continued next month. You can be sure I�ll continue to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit and bring exactly what He says is needed. He continually opens my eyes to the spirit of compromise that has taken hold of the nation and the churches in it. I didn�t say all churches, because God through His Holy Spirit is still very much in charge of some of them. He still has ministers of fire on the job today. (Visit the �Rock and you�ll see! *smile* ) Evil in the world, although rampant, is still being restrained by the Holy Spirit in God�s people. Time is short and that restraint will be caught up to join the Lord very soon. There�s no time to play! There�s no time to become concerned (drunken) by politics and this world�s business. It�s time to be committed to God and every letter of His infallible Word! It�s time to shout it from the roof tops and tell people the truth. Jesus is coming soon � don�t compromise � repent and be baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost! For those that are guilty of compromise, go back and do your first works over! Friend, tomorrow may be too late. �COMPROMISE HAS A PRICE!�
I want each of you to know that we appreciate you all. We pray for you and want to encourage you to send in prayer requests. The ladies of our church are prayer warriors � when they get together on prayer night something is going to happen! They don�t give up until they get a hold of Jesus. I know of many answered prayers because of their effort and persistence. Our God still answers the prayers of the righteous. Let us also thank you for your prayers, tithes and offerings � they ensure the newsletter gets out to the people. It is an important message for the hour that we�re in. The continuation of this message will give examples of great men of God, their compromise, and the price paid. It will bring out how the Holy Spirit even still uses these people, and is longsuffering trying to draw them back to repentance. Then when repentance doesn�t take place, He moves on. It will reveal how the compromise of Aaron came with a price for the whole nation of Israel. Don�t miss any part of this message or allow anyone you love to miss it. Keep your minds, ears and eyes open to God. I Samuel 12:20-21 says, �And Samuel said unto the people, Fear not: ye have done all this wickedness: yet turn not aside from following the Lord, but serve the Lord with all your heart; And turn ye not aside: for then should ye go after vain things, which cannot profit nor deliver; for they are vain.� Remember, all compromise is sin, and if we are not serving God, we are serving the devil. �Compromise Has A Price!�
