To Go To Hell? NOTHING!"
Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, our Mediator, our Redeemer. My prayer today is that you know HIM personally, that Jesus is Lord of your life and that you have a relationship with Him like no other. This is a hard message the Holy Spirit started giving me several weeks ago. I ask you to stop now and pray for understanding, for guidance, and that you remain teachable. This message will probably offend some and will certainly step on some toes - even mine are a bit sore lately, but it�s been the Holy Spirit teaching me, forming me into the will of God. You can do one of two things if this message offends you: you can pray and repent or you can get mad, walking around with sore toes in disobedience. I don�t advise the latter because disobedience is sin and TRUE children of God do something about sin. This message is entitled �What do I have to do to go to hell? NOTHING!�
We must start at the very root of true salvation. I say true salvation, because there is a lot of false salvation going around these days. Maybe I need to explain that a little better... A lot of sinners are being led down the aisle to shake a man�s hand, have their name put on a book, while following the Roman Road and confessing, �Yes, I believe in Jesus.� It�s true that John 3:16 says, �For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.� What does �believe� mean? It means that you have faith that Jesus Christ, God�s only Son, died for your sins at Calvary. He arose on the third day, ascended into Heaven, He is coming back for a people that have repented (turned away from sin), look for His return, and tell others about Him. Do you believe? You�re not alone in believing! James 2:19 says, �Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.� The devils do believe and it�s verified many times. They even confess that Jesus is the Son of God; but they still serve their lord satan! They are still condemned to hell and continue to spread evil. Read it for yourself in Matthew 8:29, Mark 1:24 and 3:11, Luke 4:41, and Acts 19:15. Do you REALLY believe? If you do then you will truly repent (TURN AWAY FROM SIN - STOP LIVING IN IT). If you truly opened the door to your heart when Jesus knocked (Revelation 3:20) then you will no longer desire to be a servant to sin. The old things will have passed away and all things will be new. You�ll be a new creature taking on the nature of Christ. Do you truly desire the things of God? Or do you need to repent? If you truly believe, you will repent; because of true faith you will open the door and let Jesus come into your heart. Or you can do nothing. �What do I have to do to go to hell? NOTHING!�
As I read John 6:64-66 I wondered how these people could witness the things that Jesus had done, hear the authority in His voice, and still not come to Him, still not follow Him. After all the evidence before them they still didn�t truly believe that He was the Son of God. They were full of tradition and religion and that barrier kept them from truly believing. They saw themselves as good, clean, self-righteous men with no need to change. They weren�t drawn to God! No matter what miracle Jesus had done they still would not come, would not surrender to the will of God. I witness a lot of that today and it will continue until Jesus comes back. In Revelation 9:20-21, after all the plagues many still won�t repent. Verse 20-21 reads, �And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: Neither repented they of their murders, not of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.� So many times I�ve seen people in churches sit back and hold on to sin, with all the misery it brings. Often times those that have been in church since childhood can quote the Bible inside and out and backwards. They continue in sin convinced (by satan!) that because they look good on the outside, they are alright! Like those spoken of in Revelation, nothing they see or go through will bring them to God. They need only do one thing, �TRULY BELIEVE!� When they do, they will repent! What do I have to do to go to hell? NOTHING!
You can go to church every time the doors are open. You can go to every meeting in the area. You can pay tithes, give offerings, go through all the formalities of religion, hearing the Word for a lifetime, and still go to hell! Why? Because you were a hearer of the Word and not a doer! Most everyone is familiar with the separation of the sheep from the goats, the sheep being God�s true church, the ones that had truly repented, spreading the Gospel in Jesus� name. They were doers of the Word! The goats were a religious bunch that went around wearing the name of Jesus; but He did not know them. They did not have a relationship with Him. They didn�t personally know the Son of God. The goats went around doing it all in their own vain glory and hadn�t done the one most important thing. If they had truly repented, HE WOULD HAVE KNOWN THEM! As I told you earlier in the message, if you believe then you have faith. Sounds good; but �FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD�. (James 2:14-26) Study those scriptures very carefully. Jesus Christ knows who His true family is. He explained it very carefully and very clearly in Mark 3:32-35, when He was told that His mother and brethren sought Him. In verse 35 He said, �FOR WHOSOEVER SHALL DO THE WILL OF GOD, THE SAME IS MY BROTHER, AND MY SISTER AND MOTHER.� Can you hear that? If YOU are not doing the will of the Father, then Jesus DOES NOT know you! The first thing you must do in the Father�s will is BELIEVE, which is to have FAITH in Jesus Christ, and then you must DO, by repenting. That repentance comes by the drawing of the Holy Spirit where you are convicted of your sins through the hearing of the Word. Now examine yourself by asking, �Am I truly a doer? Am I a child of God? If you are, then you�ll be in God�s will. His will is given to us from Genesis to Revelation! I sincerely ask you today, �PLEASE DON�T SETTLE FOR RELIGION WHEN YOU HAVE ETERNITY AT STAKE - BE A DOER! Don�t spend eternity in hell by doing nothing!
I want to give a special thanks to my Brothers in prison across the United States. Your letters about the blessings of God in your lives, of souls being saved, of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, mean so much to us. It�s encouraging to hear of the work that God is doing in these last days and that the last great revival will start in the prisons and with the homeless. God is looking for a broken people, a people not caught up in worldly goods, a people not afraid to surrender all - body, soul, finances, everything - to Him. He�s looking for a people, �a church�, like the one on the day of Pentecost. They were in one mind and one accord. They completely surrendered to the Spirit of God, forsaking all. My Brother down in Mitchell, VA - I know you don�t want to be named - the $10 ministry offering you sent touched our hearts and humbled us. We don�t ask for offerings and pretty much operate out of our own pocket. I know what $10 means in prison, and your offering of support can be compared to the widow and her last mite. All you that are locked up, we desire your prayers, and your letters are always welcome. I encourage you all to spend every possible moment with God - your situation can change at any time.
