Walter Elias Disney (1901-1966)
"I make films for the child in all of us. In my work, I try to reach and speak to that innocence, showing it the fun and joy of living; showing it that laughter is healthy..." Walt Disney

In 1928 Walt Disney first developed the idea of Mickey Mouse. His first movie featured none other than Mickey Mouse himself in "Plane Crazy", in which Minnie Mouse also debuted.
Then in 1929 Walt Disney Studios became Walt Disney Productions.Walt Disney Enterprises, a division of that company, was established for handling Disney merchandising. The rest is history.

DISNEY SERIES: A DISNEY AFTERNOON
This was a series of cartoons that use to be on the Disney Channel several years ago. I believe House of Mouse may have taken it's place. I will have to do some research on this in my spare time to find out.

The linking cartoon pages are constantly underconstruction. Even tho most of my "kids" are older now, my grandchildren still love to watch cartoons with me and we TRY to keep up with the ever changing 'toons. Thanks for your patience, Hiwaydad's wife...Vicki

(My wife has an original, hard cover copy of Bambi by Felix Salten and would be very interested in finding out how much it is worth to a collector. If anyone knows, please send her the information by e-mail to [email protected] Thanks!)
