 Long ago, there was a demon lord whose life
had been bound to a mountain-dwelling monk. He was Zenki,
the great and powerful. Under the control of the monk,
Enno Ozuno(Oznai), Zenki battled the forces of darkness
before they were sealed for all time. Now, 1200 years and
55 generations later, the most powerful of all demon
lords is needed once more! With the coming of the
malevolent god Karuma (Karma) , evil forces are at work
in the world, and the one person who can stand against
them is a high school girl. Chiaki (Cherry) is the latest
descendant of the legendary Enno Ozuno, and heir to the
control of the mighty Zenki. When Karma's minions show up
at her family's shrine to steal one of the deadly Seeds
of Possession sealed inside, Chiaki is thrown into a life
or death duel to meet her destiny! She must resurrect the
all-powerful demon lord Zenki! Problem: Zenki seems a bit
less powerful than advertised. In fact, without Chiaki to
give him his power, he's down right wimpy. And if Chiaki
can figure out how to turn this obnoxious little kid into
the mighty demon lord, there's no guarantee Zenki won't
be as dangerous as the monsters he's called upon to fight!

little child, and is as bratty and obnoxious as
well, his seal can only be broken by Chiaki with
the Spell to Call Forth the Demon Lord. Only then
he can assume his true form and spell trouble for
the bad guys. |

the Zenki-gumi to stop Anju and her master Karuma. |

The rose among the thorns
in Karuma's "Masters of Evil", Anju is
also known as the Lady of Thunder. She was
Sohma's master's daughter who once saved him from
the Yuki-onna, but was corrupted by Karuma. When
she eventually regained her memories and wanted
to help Sohma against Karuma, but was transformed
into the Possession Beast Jura and fought Zenki
to the limit. Eventually Zenki called on his
greatest and most dangerous spell, Ludola and
defeated Anju. |
