 First serialized in Weekly Shonen
Jump, this series is about Class 5-3's unassuming, and
seemingly ordinary fifth grade Math teacher, who is new
to the school. His name is Nueno Meisuke, fondly called
"Nube-sensei" by his students.
Not only he is lecherous, silly, klutzy and downright
childish, he also leads an extraordinary life as a demon
exorcist and wears an "oni no te" or demon left
hand. This was the result of Nube's disastrous attempt to
contain a powerful demon which possessed a former student
from his former school. He was about to contain the demon
but it ripped off his left hand while he was chanting a
spell, fortunately the demon was held back by Nube's dead
former sensei's spirit enough for Nube to bond it to his
being, cast a spell to entrap the demon within him and the end result is that he uses the
demon's hand as his own, which he uses to exorcise
spirits or to solve any supernatural events, usually
involving his new students, who became his friends later
in the series.

| Background: |
Nube's powers were
inherited from his father who was an exorcist
like him before, who left Nube after his mother
died because they cannot get help because they
dont have enough money. His father later
reappeared as an exorcist who charges clients
exorbitantly, this is probably why Nube does not
charge anything for his services. Nube vowed to
be an exocist, when her sensei, Minako-chan died
healing the young Nube from the spirits then
possessing him. This made Nube to train harder
and become a powerful exorcist like his Minako-sensei.
Nube then went on to teach at his former school,
and one day he discovers that one of his student
was possessed by a demon, he tried and succeeded
in driving away the demon from the girl but this
demon ripped off his left hand. In a last ditch
effort, her old mentor, Minako-chan appeared and
told Nube to bind the demon to himself while she
holds it back, and Nube successfully and
permanently sealed the demon in him and now uses
the demon's left hand as a weapon. After that
incident he switched to Doumori Elementary School
and became a flirtatious and klutzy Math teacher
of Class 5-3. He now uses his Juzus(buddhist
rosary), houtens(prayer book) and a Reisuisho, or
a crystal ball as his exorcism weapons together
with his new oni hand to protect his new students
from supernatural beings and events. He can also
project his astral form as Akira Hinokami, a kid,
who trained Kyouko in swimming and was endeared
to her and is Hiroshi's object of jealousy. |

| Background: |
The pretty and kind
teacher of Class 5-2, she is the object of Nube's
desire, but she always freaks out and screams at
the top of her lungs whenever Nube mentions
anything supernatural. She usually whacks him too.
She realized her feelings for Nube and competed
with Yukime for Nube's love. |

He is one of Nube's
students, who does not believe in the
supernatural. Hiroshi is an excellent soccer
player, who was possessed by a demon who
threatened to give him a heart attack, but he was
saved by Nube. This made him to believe Nube's
powers. He then accompanies Nube and Kyouko, whom
he has a crush in their adventures. He isnt
exactly the best student(he has the uncanny
ability to flunk every test Nube-sensei gives).
but he is caring and loyal to his friends. |

One of Nube's students,
she has known Nube since she was five, when she
was exorcised from a demon by Nube, and has been
his avid fan since then. She is a sort of a
tomboy but has a thing for Hiroshi but does not
want to admit it and gets she angry whenever he
is with another girl. |

He is one of Nube's
students and is probably the youngest and
smallest of them. He is the kid who loves
watching sentai TV series and sometimes acts like
one in school(specially during break time). |

The pretty, well-endowed,
naughty, gossip-monger of the entire school, she
was saved by Nube from a copycat spirit which was
spreading malicious gossips about her. She now
learned her lessons and stopped gossiping about
other people. She lives by the "if you have
it, flaunt it" philosophy and is the cause
of almost half of the series troubles. She also
has the uncanny knowledge of supernatural stuffs
and can project her astral head and neck, which
makes her friends freak out. |

| Background: |
She is a lovely "Snow
Princess", whom Nube saved when she was a
kid, now that she is a young lady, she followed
Nube and woos him eagerly with her cold cooking
and frigid embrace. She usually dislikes hot
temperatures and encases herself with ice. She
died, helping Nube when the Mountain-god told her
to abandon Nube and sent monsters to capture her.
She later came back without memories and intent
on harming people but Nube's love returned her
back to her old "cold" self. |

Tamamo Kyousuke (Tamamo-sensei) |

Tamamo is a fox-spirit
and Nube's nemesis, who wanted to have Hiroshi's
skull to enhance his powers, but when he was
defeated by Nube, he asked him where he got his
power, Nube being only a human, and Nube answered
that it was his love and care for his students.
Tamamo then he decided to learn more about "love"
and ended as a doctor and shows up at Doumori
from time to time to assist Nube and his students. |

Ai is the school's best
violinist but Nube found out that she has a nasty
habit of shoplifting musical items which she uses.
She is afflicted now with an eye-spirit which
multiplies in her body whenever she steals. She
is an excellent musician and can enthrall just
about everyone with her performance with the
exception for her love interest Makoto, who falls
to sleep whenever she plays. |

students who is hospitalized and is in a sort of
coma, but she still goes to school through her
psychic form which Nube-sensei taught her. |

source of unluckiness as a demon, he vanquished

A boy who has a good
heart but a tendency to go astray (smoking,
stealing etc.) His vices often get him into
trouble. He usually steals from students and
teachers but Nube straightened him out. He likes

any girl's breast size, (Miki's a D-cup). He can
also sneak out of class without anyone seeing him. |

usually appears to cast a spell on Nube to make
him love her. She may look like a girl but is
actually in her twenties, she also does not have
perfect control on the spells she casts because
she is still ""in-training" and
usually something funny or outrageous happens
when she casts one. Nube usually smacks her with
his houten for using love spells on him. |

looking for his brother, she ended fighting and
losing to Nube ans now she goes to Doumori
Elementary School as Nube's student and she

Noriko is Nube's very
polite and always prim and proper student but has
the penchant for getting naked everytime a spell
or anything supernatural happens to her. She is a
quiet, unassuming kid who works in the library
and feeds the animals in the schoolyard, but was
shown to grow up to be a movie star in the
episode where Nube's students' future lives were
shown. |

of the girls. She seems to smile a lot too. She

Izuna comes from a long line of spiritualist, but
not as powerful as Nube, she usually
overestimates her abilities and gets herself into
trouble. She uses her powers to get in exchange
for money. She has limited psychic abilities with
a strong tendency toward pyrokinesis. |

She was Nube's teacher
and protector when he was young, and was Nube's
inspiration to become a teacher. Her powers are
quite strong and she guided and aided Nube during
his youth, and died defending him. She came back
to help Nube contain to Bakki, the powerful
demon, and entrap him within Nube. |

A mermaid that Nube
unintentionally resurrected, now she wants Nube
to eat her flesh to become immortal (she has
different suggestions such as baking, sushi,
fried, grilled, etc. and its is ok since she can
regenerate). Nube first declined but but then had
to give in when he was badly wounded. She also
has the ability to enthrall people with her songs. |

what he really is. He is a staunch believer in
Nube's abilities and is not really that bad at
