| CAPO'S RESPONSIBILTIES The four Clan Capos are important members of the Clan in the sense that it is their job to remain in close touch with the general membership as a whole and convey the general 'mood' of the Clan to the Leaders' forum; to keep an eye on good, active members for possible future promotion recommendation; and to generally be approachable by any member with a grievance to air. It is also the job of the Clan Capos to assist the Consigliere and Underboss in their duties as needed, and to advise the Don on matters brought to his attention. Capos are essentially the important 'officers' of the Clan, the vital connection between the remote 'HQ generals' and the ordinary soldiers in the ranks. Any well-organized & generally content Clan will rely heavily on the abilities of its Capos to be good 'officers' and to take care of their men. |
