FAQ for November 12, 2006

Q: So . . . what is it you do?
A: We're a film company which produces short films (generally parodies).

Q: What company? You're five teenagers with a camera.
A: (Cough)

Q: So, what have you done?
A: Well, we shot Misplaced (a parody of Lost) this summer, and we're preparing to air it in four short installments over the next four Wednesdays.

Q: Do I need to watch Lost in order to get the jokes?
A: Well, most of the jokes that depend on watching the show are in the first episode—we think everyone will be able to get the jokes in the other episodes.

Q: How long is Misplaced?
A: Well, currently it's a little under twenty minutes, but Kevin is still working on the end credit sequence, so we don't have an exact time yet.

Q: What's taking so long?
A: It's hard work, okay?

Q: I'm the one who asks the questions.
A: Well, you didn't ask one there. Punk.

Q: Why'd you pick "Hit By A Bus Productions" as the title for your alleged "company"?
A: We figured that we wanted to create such an emotional impact with our films that viewers would feel they'd been struck by a moving vehicle.

Q: What's the real reason?
A: We were driving down the street and we saw a bus. What can I say—we have a morbid sense of humour. Especially Andrew.

Q: I noticed that Kevin wrote, directed, produced, co-starred, and did the editing and sound design for Misplaced—why is he doing all these different things?
A: Well, to be honest, he's by far the most talented person in the company.

Q: Oh, get off your high horse, Kevin—I didn't even ask that question.
A: Yeah, well I can't answer questions if you don't ask them. Punk.

Q: Are you planning on doing any other projects?
A: Yes—as we speak, a script is being prepared for a new parody.

Q: What's it about?
A: It's a secret.

Q: Well, who's writing it?
A: Kevin.

Q: Is it almost finished?
A: Uhh . . .

Q: You're so lazy.
A: Shut it.

Q: One more question: didn't you steal this "funny" FAQ format from the Rooster Teeth site?
A: (Cough)
