I (Kevin) have good news and good news! The first piece of good news is that I just wrote over six pages of the Metal Gear Solid parody and I now have a solid idea about how to finish it. The second piece of good news is that Day Break begins airing episodes again on January 29; it isn't cancelled after all! Pardon my uncontrollable grinning.

A release date has been (kind of) set for Full Of It, the New Line Cinema film in which Kevin appears as an extra. Depending on which report you read, the film will be released on March 2nd or March 9th of this year. Kevin appears as a math student in three different scenes, so if you look very carefully, you just might spot him.

I (Kevin) spent most of the day doing post-production on The Chain Letter, and I have to say, it's very close to being finished. Unless (knock on wood) there's some giant catastrophe, The Chain Letter should be on the site within a week.

We told you we'd have a special surprise, and here it is . . . a scan of Leon's map from Misplaced! In case you were wondering, the piece of paper which floated away into the lake was a "stunt map". Come on, we wouldn't try to trick you!
UPDATE: Principal photography on The Chain Letter is now finished! Don't worry; post-production on this film is already halfway done, so there won't be a three-month wait.

Today was the second day of shooting The Chain Letter. It should have been the last day, too, but we started late because of the United Parcel Service (long story). With any luck, we'll have finished shooting by the end of tomorrow. Oh, and remember when we promised you a surprise last week? If all goes as planned, it should be on the site by tomorrow. Make sure to check it out!

Kevin finally wrote a script yesterday that's been bouncing around in his head for weeks. It's for a five-minute film called The Chain Letter, and with any luck, shooting will begin within a few days—though there are a few tricky scenes which could take a while to complete. Don't worry, though—the Metal Gear Solid parody is still on.
UPDATE: The first day of shooting is over. We cut the hardest scenes from the script, so the film should be much easier to complete; however, the cold temperatures will still make the exterior scenes (which make up almost all of the film) a bit of a challenge.

Just to let you know, we'll have a special surprise on our website next week. And no, it's not candy.

Woot! Today's the site's two-month anniversary, so we'd like to thank everyone who watches our videos—you're awesome! Sorry for the lack of January updates; it's taking a little while to adjust to the old grind after the winter holidays. Things should be back on track soon, though, so remember to check for updates when you get the chance.

You've been waiting for it (well, maybe not, but humour us) and now you've got it . . . the fifth and final Hit By A Bus biography. Click here to see Kevin's bio; it's a good one!

Happy new year, everybody! 2007 is going to be one heck of a ride. But now, the moment you've all been waiting for. The next film that Hit By A Bus Productions will make is . . . a parody of Metal Gear Solid! For those of you who don't know, Metal Gear Solid is a series of video games which revolves around Solid Snake, a character who foils terrorist plots by using a combination of stealth and brute force. It's pretty serious stuff, so it's a great thing to parody! Kevin is more than 20 pages into writing the screenplay (which means that it will be longer than Misplaced, which ended up being about 20 pages in total), and our production crew went location-scouting yesterday afternoon for places to shoot an important action sequence. The film is slowly shaping itself; it's a much more ambitious project than Misplaced, so it will take longer to come to fruition. Keep visiting this site, though; we'll be updating as often as we can, and who knows . . . we may even post a few on-set photographs and other goodies. Stay tuned!
