The area known as Cu Chi, northwest of Saigon, was the stronghold of the Viet Cong (V.C.) throughout the Vietnam war. The area was once composed of an extensive tunnel network enabling the V.C. to hide for months at a time protected from U.S. forces. This ability provided the V.C. with a supply and command base for combat operations close to the vicinity of Saigon. Though the U.S. carried out constant operations against this area and it's tunnels including air bombardment and bulldozing much of the tunnel system survived. Today most of the tunnels are gone but some have been preserved and others recreated.

Also located at the tunnels is a firing range where you can fire weapons left over from the war including full automatic weapons. It's well worth it even at a cost of USD$1 per round.

In the pictures at the top and to the left, you can see us firing an M60 machine gun.

As you can see, there are many different kinds of weapons to choose from.
