Last days of the Turkish siege of Vienna.

1529 A.D. Thirty five bell tents, nineteen wedge tents and one wall tent (left foreground, with two point guy rope attachment along side wall). 

There is also two structures (centre foreground) consisting of material over a wooden frame, used as an armoury. 

The Sultan’s encampment is surrounded by a stone wall, the bell tents look like the stone wall (camo?), with two point guy rope attachment.
