Greek - Ten light blue bell tents, blue ball apexes and coloured valances (pink, green or gold).

Latin - Eight bell tents, ball apexes, roof edge delineated, no decoration or guy ropes evident.

“Homer, ‘Iliad’ (C15).
A double frontispiece, the first page in Greek, the second on Latin, with a rich elegant border of architectural motifs: in the gable arch three small scenes which recall, even if slightly modified, various themes in the Iliad. These scenes are attributed to an illustrator known as the “Master of the Vatican Homer”; recently it has seemed possible to identify him with Gaspare from Padua.”
