The Royal Encampment

2nd quarter of the 13th century. Ten bell tents. 

Far left, only the bluish grey of the inside of the door flap is visible. 

Far right, only the white apron of the apex is visible, alternate white and red panels descend from the apex, match up with panels on the walls, the valance is coloured in the same red colour as the panels and is scalloped, white centre pole, the bottom edge of the walls are scalloped indicating bottom edge pegging, the inside of the door flap on the right is plain white. 

Bell tent, grey ball apex and apron, alternate horizontal white and very dark red (almost black) stripes, scalloped valance, white centre pole (a heater shield hangs from the pole done in the same stripes as the tent), the bottom edge of the door flap is scalloped indicating bottom edge pegging, the inside of the door flap on the right is plain white. 

The rest of the seven bell tents have only the roofs showing (from left to right): 
bluish grey ball and apron apex; white ball and apron apex above mottled roof; white ball and small white apron apex above mottled roof; bluish grey ball and apron apex, white patterned band below apron, mottled grey and white roof; white ball and small white apron apex above alternate dark and light panels descending from apex; white ball and small white apron apex above brown roof; white ball and small white apron apex above white roof.
