was founded in 1954 by Jesse Huggins and Muriel Woodall to encourage the operatic and musical talents in the Hampstead area while raisingmoney for the Manor House Hospital.
After many years of performing in Hampstead garden Suburb, and with the closure of the hospital where it used to rehearse, the society has based its activities more centrally in London to attract a wider audience and cast. The society has a busy social calender which includes barn dances, BBQs, theatre visits, country walks and treasure hunts.
New members are always welcome, on and off stage.
