Comission on Human Rights

Om June 2001 a seminal event happened by the arrest of Miloshevic being sent to the Hague in oder to be tried for all he had done.

Following this arrest we want to submit to the Commission on Human Rights the atrocious Human Rights abusews committed by the Horthysts in Northern Transylvania, Romania, during the occupation of this territory in WW II and continuing up-to-date by the Horthyst Fraction of UDMR (acronym for Democratic Union of Hungarians in Romania).

On this occasion we want to underline that the unimaginable horrors which took place in Kosovo in 1999 reprezent in reality a repetition of the deportations of nearly 500.000 (Five hundred thousands) Romanians from Northern Transylvania following the Vienna Dictate, along with mass killings, other atrocities, destruction of Romanian Greek-Orthodox and Greek-Catholic churches, etc., in an ethnic cleansing opperation.

We already protested these Human Rights abuses and also protested the continuation of these abuses over the decades up to present days.

Now we want to inform you again about the "Forgotten Holocaust against the Romanians".

As Secretary General of the United Nations, Mr. Kofi Annan declared this Century as "A New Era of Human Rights", we consider absssolutely necessary to hold the abusersaccountable and to prevent other abuses.

For the past, the now=a=day Horthysts can not be hold responsible, but these crimes and Human Rights atrocities can not be wiped out of history, and they must recognized them.

After WW II the Horthysts continued their criminal actrocities and Human Rights violations ib front of our own eyes until now-a-day and yhei have to be hold accounbtable for these horribile deeds.

While other countries, included the Vativan, assumed responsability of the past deeds, Hungary and the UDMR never apologized to Romania.

Milosevic fron Serbia and others with him are held today publicly responsible for violations in Human Rights and they are rightly pursued in order to be punushed. Milosevic deed a crazy action which stunned the whole civilized world. But his action was just the imitation of the similar action done by the Horthysts in Northern Transylvania in 1940-1944 and these two situation are identical .

To remain unpunished the to-days Horthysts for what they deed, in a world which Mr. Kofi Annan proclaimed as "Aa New Era of Human Rights", that wood mean that the concept of Human Rights would be totally compromised.

That woukd mean also to negate all that Mr Kofi Annan and the Popoe John Paul II are doing for the moral progress of the Humanity.

Without being brought to the Commission of Human Rights Coiuncil of Europe for crimes and the Human Rights violkations recently committed and without asking for forgivness, the "New Era of Human Rights" woukd sound just empty words. It is unconceivable and against the Human Rights Principle to let unpunished and forgotten what the Horthyst have done in the past and in the recent time.

One can not punish Milosevic and let unpunished what his predecesors deed in Romania in 1940 -1944 and up to now-a-days. The Horthysts must be made responsible for they did.

The Human Rights principle is ome and that is why ome can not have a double standard in its application.

In the name of Human Rights principle and of he justice we are asking that justice must be done for the genocide committed by the Horthysts.

We underline that the genocide we established as a international crime in 1948 and it refers to acts committed with intent toi destroy, in whole or in part a natioinal, ethnical, racial or religious group" and the Horthysts are included in this concept.

And this is the reason why we brought this case in front of the Council of Europe, Commission of Human Rights.

The Romanian people are waitiung for apologies and for damages to be paid for all they destroyed, churches, individual properties, etc. and for the guilty Horthysts to be sentenced
