My name is pamela and i have been aware of my submissive nature for 4 years. Like many who come to the lifestyle these days, my awakening came via the internet by venturing into a chat room called D/s. Listening to discuss- ions, seeing others involved in Master/slave relationships and my desire to understand drove me to seek more information on this alternative lifestyle. i became somewhat "obsessed" in understanding all of these feelings which were emerging from this experience.(hence my nickname--myobsession).It was as if i had found the missing puzzle pieces of my life and i was becoming more of who i really was.
While self growth is important, it can be difficult on oneself as well as others. This was my case as i was married and had been for 15 years. Never one to keep things from my hubby, Deano, i shared my revelations of self with him to which he laughed and said,"You are as submissive as a wrecking ball". With time, reading on his part as well as continual communi- cation with me, he began to understand and see my submiss-
ive nature. He even tried to be my "Dom" for awhile and while he enjoyed the physical aspects of the relationship(and still does--eg--), he found himself struggling with the control issues and determined that he did not want to engage in this type of relationship. And that he was really quite happy with who he was and our life the way it was.
Many marriages would have been over at this point. It is because of the genuine love and respect for each other that ours continues. i am blessed with a husband who under-
stands my needs and allows me to be me.
My experiences along this journey have been varied. i have had both R/t and online experiences which have brought the highs and lows of the lifestyle. Presently i am blessed to be under the care and guidance of a wonder Master--Sir Raymond--This union brings much enlightenment to me and i cherish the day we met.
