| I still find it very difficult to believe, my dear friend that you have gone onto your next journey. I know you heard me that afternoon when i heard of your untimely departure for i felt your presence all around me. You heard my shock, my grief, my fears. And, when my tears subsided, you heard my pledge to you. |
| I pledge to do what i can to be of comfort and support to all in your family who need me. I pledge to give Sir Ray all the strength i can find to help Him adjust to this new, unwanted future without you. I pledge to have a patient ear and heart as He grieves for you, His wife and your life together. I pledge to be frank with Him when i feel it is warranted for it is my duty, as it was yours, to try and protect Him from any harm. I pledge to love Him as unselfishly as i can and to care for Him to the depth of my being for the rest of my life. This is my pledge to you. pamela August 8, 2004 |
