| uVoice Platform, Release 6.1(3)
This page is not a tutorial. It contains information and references
necessary to help me on my daily work with uVoice Platform (uVoice),
a VoiceXML gateway process that executes VoiceXML documents.
If you want to start working with voice applications this is what I
suggest you to know or have experience with:
- Unix operating system: Sun Solaris 8
- Web-based standards, technologies : HTML, XML, VXML, web servers,
security
- Telephony protocols and services : SS7 and ISDN
- Internet Protocols: H323,RTP, RTCP, and HTTP
- Knowledge of messaging and telephony
- knowledge of networking, including TCP/IP services and SNMP
- Experience in installing complex systems
