"And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me
in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the
Holy Ghost; Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have
commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the
world. Amen." Matthew 28:18-20

A person who conducted an informal survey about prayers of people in his
church found that most people pray one of two types of prayers. The
first was an "SOS" ~ "Save Our Souls," but "Oh God, help us now.
" The second was "SOP" ~"Solve Our Problems." People asked the Lord to
eliminate all needs, struggles, trials, and temptations. They wanted
carefree, perfect lives, and fully believed that is what God had
promised them. He concluded from his survey: "Most people want God to do
it all."
God has not promised, however, to live our lives for us ~ but rather, to
walk through our lives with us. Our part is to be faithful and obedient;
His part is to lead us, guide us, and help us.
Do what you can today ~ and then trust God to do what you cannot do! God
Bless You.
