"The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it,
and is safe." Proverbs 18:10

This little verse of scripture must have been a great comfort to Dale
Earnhardt as he kept it with him during the race at Daytona this past
Sunday. As it comforted him, may you also find comfort in it, knowing he
is safe in the hands of the Lord.

Faithful believers can be assured of God's protection. "I will say of
the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust"
(Psalm 91:2). We must remember that deliverance still has to be the will
of God. But if harm should come, believers can still be secure in His
care. He carries us through ~ He carries us home.

Dale's presence will be missed dearly as we remain here on this earth.
But we must be confident in knowing that in death, he was simply passing
from God's earthly care to God's eternal care. And one day we will meet
up with our Brother again. What a blessed reunion that will be!

Let us pray for comfort to all who loved him, especially his family. May
they find peace and the assurance of God's love for all His children.
Let us rejoice in Dale's new mansion ~ no more pain, no more suffering ~
Eternal Life in Christ! God Bless You.
