"For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad." 2Corinthians 5:10

At the judgment seat of Christ only believers will appear. It is not a judgment of the believer's sins, which Christ fully atoned for on the cross. It is the judgment to see whether you are going to receive a reward or not.

When Paul says, "We must all appear," remember that he is writing to believers. All we believers will be judged, that we may receive the things done in the body. We will be judged on the way we lived the Christian life, how we have lived in these bodies down here. When we go into His presence, we will be finished with these old bodies. The question He will be asking us is "How did you use your body while on earth?" Think about the answer you will present to Him when you get into His presence! And ask yourself now, "How am I doing this or that for the Lord?" Or perhaps even, "What can I do for my Lord today to bring glory and praise to His wonderful Name?" Each day is another opportunity to serve. Don't sit idly back and wait on tomorrow. You may not see tomorrow. For today may be your last chance to go out in a bang in His favor! Think about it.

Remember, you will syand before the judgment seat of Christ to be judged for your rewards. You and I will stand before Him! This thought alone should motivate us to serve Him acceptably. Then, as we come into His presence, He will be able to say, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant." As a believer, your name is written in the Book of Life, and you will have eternal life as the Lord promises. However, you will also go before Him in judgment for your rewards. I would say the fear of the Lord urges us to persuade men now, wouldn't you? You may wish to start today! Get off your hind ends Christians! We have work to do!!!

Love in Christ Jesus, Sandy
