| As there was no room for the baby Jesus in the inn, there still today seems to be no room for Him in the hearts of many. This, being the day we celebrate the Lord Jesus' birth, please ask yourselves, "Is Jesus happy with me on His birthday?" Does He see within your hearts a deep, true love for Him? Does He see a satisfying love and not just a seasonal affection stirred up by the festivites of Christmas? What our Lord wants more than anything else on His birthday is the true love of our hearts. This Christmas Day let us find a variety of ways of showing to others that God is indeed Immanuel, God with us. And He loves every one of His children. Share your love with others, give your heart to Jesus. What a wonderful birthday gift, indeed! Then let every heart keep Christmas within, Christ's pity for sorrow, Christ's hatred for sin, Christ's courage for right.
